Demons Screaming; Age of Rage; Demons Announce Messiah; Controlled by Drugs and Demons

David asks a question that we are all asking in this day and age. Why are people so crazy? It used to be that we expected emotional regulation in society and in public. We expected respectable behavior toward others. Today it seems like there is emotional disregulation everywhere. People scream and yell as if  there is a justification for doing so. Most of these behaviors are allowed and encouraged because certain rulers are using the mental and emotional demonic possession of others to their advantage with an end to destroy society. These rulers are the very same people who mock Christ. Who would want to trust someone who mocks Yahweh Jesus Messiah? Since there is nothing new under the sun we can recognize that there were many periods recorded in the Bible that described societal chaos and upheaval, such as during the start of the nation of Israel, and during the era of the northern and southern kingdoms. So whatever was done in the past is simply inspired again in humans. David tells us that the pharmaceutical drugs, the medicating of people, causes more lawlessness and unrighteousness. These drugs cause people to resemble their leaders, Satanas and his demons. If people are drugged they can be controlled.

Let’s start with David talking about the raging nations.

Psalms 2:0 G5568 A psalm G3588 to G* David.

“Song the David”

David teaches through his songs. People tend to remember songs or lyrics put to music better than words alone. 

Psalms 2:1 G2444 Why did G5433 [²neigh G1484 ¹nations], G2532 and G2992 peoples G3191 meditate upon G2756 vain things ?

“For what reason ethnos/nations snort (like a horse) and the laity they studied vanities.”

David writes about the nations, the ethnic groups. The fact that Israel had a national Elohim was a distinction between them and other ethnic groups. While some nations had their own gods, Israel was supposed to be worshipping the Elohim and living under a set of rules that made them moral and civilized. There was a moral law, a civil law, and a spiritual law for the people to follow. While the laws and commands seem like a burden they are only a burden when one lives outside these rules.  

David says that the nations snort like a horse. Horses can snort when they are happy or upset. But when a horse is mad, it stomps, it jumps, it behaves in an uncontrolled manner. This is why people “break” a horse, so that it is rideable. Sometimes horses just don’t like people and they behave badly, running fast and throwing their rider. The nations are not broken for the Elohim. Israel was supposed to be broken for the Elohim, but there were too many mixed nations cohabitating with Israel and they acted like a bucking horse.  

The idea is that the nations make a tumult or rage. The nations are screaming and yelling in an uproar. Their pandemonium is not for the Elohim but for their own vain thoughts. Their vanities are due to their narcissism. People who know the Elohim and who worship Christ are not generally narcissistic because Christianity teaches that we are to submit, or bow to Jesus Christ, taking up our cross and laying our own lives down for the saints. However there are narcissists in the church and we know them by their fruits and behaviors. Can a narcissist be saved as a narcissist when the narcissist does not put Jesus first by making Jesus Lord? Repent. Jesus told us to love one another so that others would know we are His disciples. Does the narcissist really love others?

This is an idea worth exploring because the church is supposed to judge behaviors within the church. There is plenty of cleaning up we need to do within the church and while we are dusting and polishing we are also supposed to be wise to the world. Demons exist and they encourage vanities, they also cause people to act poorly. The non-saved people rage and behave badly because they want to live their own way, without the Christians holding a moral line. Satanas and his demons intend to push morality out, and those who follow them will snort and stomp and study vain things. 

Psalms 2:2 G3936 [⁵stood by G3588 ¹The G935 ²kings G3588 ³of the G1093 ⁴earth], G2532 and G3588 the G758 rulers G4863 gathered G2009.1 together G2596 against G3588 the G2962 lord G2532 and G2596 against G3588   G5547 his anointed one, G1473  

“The kings the earth indeed present and the rulers convene against the his downward Yahweh and downward the his Christos chanting.” 

In comparing the LXX-WH we see a few small changes in the text. The last word of this sentence seems to be missing; διαψαλμα meaning “chanting”. The kings and rulers chant downward against Yahweh and the Messiah. Why would the ethnic kings and rulers convene against Yahweh and the Messiah? Why would they chant about it? They are excited about vain studies and oppose Yahweh and the Messiah because they feel Yahweh brings them bondage. 

Why do rulers convene against Yahweh and the Messiah? Yahweh and the Messiah are a threat to those who want to exploit the laity. Yahweh and the Messiah are the moral standard that we are all to live by. If we put the demon possessed in charge as our rulers then we get anti-Christ behaviors from them. 

Psalms 2:3 G1284 We should tear up G3588   G1199 their bonds, G1473   G2532 and G641 we should throw away G575 from G1473 us G3588   G2218 their yoke. G1473  

“Let’s break in the ties his and reject away from us the his heavy burden.”

This is what the kings and rulers chant. They chant to break the ties and heavy burdens or the coupling with Yahweh. David’s question is why are they in a rage over this? Why are they rejecting Yahweh? Why do they think that they are bound and tied by Yahweh? They are not. They think that they are so they reject Yahweh, claiming that following Him brings a heavy burden. What burden? Sin. The things they wish to partake in are pointed out as sin and when sin is called out or exposed then it becomes a burden. In order to relieve the burden they reject Yahweh and the Messiah. If one rejects Yahweh and the Christ then that one has no burden of their own sins. 

The kings of the earth and the rulers convene and decide to reject Yahweh and His Messiah (the future Messiah, Jesus) because their sins are a heavy burden when they live under the Elohim. The rules and laws of Jesus Messiah are very simple, ready?

Mar 12:29  And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

Mar 12:30  And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

Mar 12:31  And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Joh 13:34  A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

Joh 13:35  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Anyone who wants to be a leader, ruler, governor, president, priest, or clergy, should be an expert following these commands, both in public and in private. There should not be a public and a private self that is different in anyone who wants to be a leader of men. If someone talks like a follower of Christ but does not live in private like a follower of Christ then that person is not following Christ. Some people talk the game in public, but at home they belittle their spouse, kick the dog, yell at the children, complain about the food, demand, demand, demand. This is not leader material, that is demon possession. 

Psalms 2:4 G3588 The G2730 one dwelling G1722 in G3772 heavens G1548.1 derides G1473 them, G2532 and G3588 the G2962 lord G1592 ridicules G1473 them.

“The resident in heaven laughs at them and the Yahweh mocks them.” 

The ethnic nations cannot hide from Yahweh and neither can we. Do you think that Yahweh doesn’t know everyones secrets?

David gives us more understanding in Psalm 58.

“Into the fulfillment not destroy; the David; into inscription on a monument.

David starts with “Into the end, do not utterly destroy”, referring to the end of the age. 

David is speaking about things that will take place through to the end of the age. That would be until the millennial reign of Christ.

“If certainly then righteousness speak straight judge son the manfaced.”

Psalms 58:2 G2532 For even G1063   G1722 in G2588 the heart G458 [²lawlessness G2038 ¹you work] G1722 in G3588 the G1093 earth. G93 [³in injustice G3588   G5495 ¹Your hands G1473   G4844.3 ²closely join]. 

“And for in heart lawlessness work in the earth unrighteousness, their hand intertwined.”

Lawlessness works in the earth and unrighteousness is in their hands. Why? If in those days David is speaking of Jews then this would be because they rejected the laws of Moses. If David is speaking of the nations, it would be because they do not know the Elohim and His laws. They behave lawlessly and unrighteously. If Jews reject the law then they bring curses upon themselves. Curses lead people into demon possession.

Psalms 58:3 G526 [²were separated G3588   G268 ¹Sinners] G575 from G3388 the womb; G4105 they wander G575 from G1064 the belly; G2980 they spoke G5571 lies. 

“Estrange sinful away from the matrix (womb) make to wander away from stomach (matrix) speak lying.”

This is a creative way of saying ‘separate the wicked from procreation’. Every time evil people procreate the spread of wicked hearts advances. The ones who speak lies, the imposters, should not reproduce, that is David’s prayer. That was the prayer/song on the monument that all of Israel was to read and recite. Isn’t it funny how David got others to declare this by putting it on a monument?  

Demons are not passed down like genetics, but demons will infiltrate entire families. One wicked parent or two wicked parents will cause emotional damage in their children. Those children will grow up to do wicked things unless they get saved and Holy Spirit filled. They will have to battle demons for their salvation and so that they can have peace. All people can overcome their past abuse.

“Their passion/wrath downward the resemblance serpent, just as if cobra dumb and immersion his ear”

The lawless in heart have a negative passion, they rage and are wrathful. They have a resemblance of a serpent, ophis, from heaven. It is a “downward resemblance”, meaning that the one that they resemble is above them. In other words, humans who have become lawless in their heart start to take on the traits of the fallen sons of God. They may not be heirs of the fallen angels, but they start to behave like them.  

The wild wrath of the lawless heart is also like a cobra that cannot speak and refuses to hear, by plugging or immersing his ears. This last phrase should connect to the next verse.

Why are the lawless in heart behaving like the serpent? How do they become lawless?

Psalms 58:5 G3748 who G3756 does not G1522 listen to G5456 the sound G1864.1 [²charming G5333 ¹of the sorcerer], G5037 and the G5332.1 administering of potions G3844 by G4680 a wise man . 

“Who not hearken tone expelled magician also medicated in the presence of learned.”

The cobra who is dumb or mute, immerses his ears and does not listen to the tones played by a magician. The idea is that the lawless in heart are like cobras who can’t speak and who won’t listen to the music that a sorcerer plays. But there is more here. The second part of the verse says that the cobra is medicated in the presence of the learned. The key to snake charming is medicating the snake with something first to calm it down and heighten its senses to the music. Regular people don’t know that this takes place, but the wise do. This is the lawless heart. The lawless heart is medicated by people who are wise regarding pharmaceuticals. A sorcerer is a pharmakeus who uses pharmakons, it is manipulation via herbs or drugs; basically any engineered potion or medication. But lawless humans can be “medicated” by lusts (child/human trafficking). The skill of the sorcerer is to know the subject that one wishes to influence, and then use the correct pharmakons. This is how people become lawless, they are drawn to something that makes them feel good. 

“Just as if cobra dumb and immersion his ear who not hearken tone expelled magician also medicated in the presence of learned.”

A lawless heart is being manipulated by a sorcerer using drugs and or lusts, but when something goes wrong they become enraged or filled with wrath. They then start to resemble the likeness of the ophis. They want to dominate, or control others. The lawless heart is so overcome by the sorcerer that he or she does not function as children of the Most High do. The key here is that as more and more people are manipulated into lawlessness, the society becomes unbalanced. The lawless hearts, the impostors, and the wicked, become the determining influence over the world while the children of God are shut up. This is societal entropy. The law of chaos that cannot be reversed.

What we do not know is the effect the pharmaceuticals that people are taking are having on them. We know that there was a project to vaccinate people to alter the “god” gene, but what about every day drugs? Is it possible that people are becoming more demon possessed because they are taking pharmakons which cause them emotional disregulation? Why do people scream and yell all the time? Isn’t this characteristic of demonic possession? Why then are we seeing so much craziness in the world? Our pharmaceuticals are not making people emotionally better or closer to the Elohim, they are having the opposite effect. These people have no peace. 

Let’s look at some of the characteristics of demons. We should not forget that there are unclean spirits influencing people but there are some other things we should think about. Demons were not created by the Elohim. Demons were “created” inadvertently by the cohabitation of angels and earth women. Manfaced is a three part being, spirit, soul, and body. The Elohim created manfaced this way. Did the Elohim create angels with spirit, soul, and body? How about cherubim or seraphim? We don’t know. We do know they seem to be spirit and they seem to have a spiritual body, but we do not know if they were created with a physical body and a physical soul. Although we will judge angels in the future, and we know they have freedom of will, they can choose to follow the Elohim or not, we do not know what their soul or breath life is like. 

The Elohim did not create demons. Demons are the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim. When manfaced dies the body decays but the soul and spirit live on. The word of the Elohim divides between soul and spirit. This is the division as to being judged because the heart has thoughts and intents. The soul and spirit will determine heaven or hell. The further division is that if someone is saved then they are judged as to rewards, based on the soul. The spirit of manfaced might be saved and the soul determines rewards received at the coronation of Jesus as King of kings and Lord of lords. 

With this in mind, what would it be like to be an unclean spirit, knowing that you were not a chosen, created, being, but a bastardization of the Elohim’s creation? I don’t mention this for sympathy, as demons do not have to be destructive to humans, but to point out the reason that they cause humans to act out so badly. There is a place for demons, they themselves call it the “abyss” or the “bottomless pit”, the place that the earth is above. As we consider this, whose directive are they following and why? They believe that they can overthrow the earth along with their leader Satanas. However they cannot. Now we have some tools to understand emotional disregulation or the reason that people are behaving crazy. They are inspired to behave badly and the societal push from Satanas is for civilization to accept it. It used to be that we put people in mental hospitals but now we allow them to behave badly out in the open.

Mar 5:1  And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.

Mar 5:2  And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,

Matthew says that there are two men at the tombs, while Mark and Luke mention one man. For our purposes we will note this in the singular.

Notice that unclean means “impure physically, ceremonially, and morally”. We see that unclean spirits are not purified. Can they become purified? I believe that if they could then we would have been told to witness to them as well as to people. 

Why did the man with the unclean spirits come out to meet Jesus? What did the demons see when the man looked at Jesus? Can they see what type of spirit men have, as in renewed and saved, or unrenewed and unsaved? Did they feel a disruption in the force as Jesus approached?

Mar 5:3  Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:

The man lived in tombs, which were caves that had dead bodies in them, like mausoleums. It is an unclean place to live, but if one is homeless that one finds shelter anywhere he can. No one would probably bother him staying among the tombs and it was probably dry and cool. 

Mar 5:4  Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.

The man broke free from chains and shackles. This tells us that the man is very strong and the people in the region had nothing that could hold him. He was also un-tame meaning no one could talk to him, help him calm down, or reason with him. 

Mar 5:5  And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.

Crying and self mutilation points to despair. People who self-mutilate say that they do it to feel alive. This is interesting because the man was alive, but so miserable that he wanted to die. But when people wanted to help, then the man would go wild. 

Mar 5:6  But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,

The spiritual presence of Jesus caused the demons to make the man to run to Jesus. When he got there he worshipped him, but it wasn’t just the man worshipping Jesus it was the demons also worshipping Jesus.

Mar 5:7  And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.

Mar 5:8  For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.

One demon speaking for all the demons wants to know why Jesus is casting them out. 

Mar 5:9  And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

There are many demons within this man. It might be safe to say that the more demons one has the more they act uncontrolled, untamed, and unrestrained. 

Mar 5:10  And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.

The leader of the demon clan did not want to be sent out of the country. They found a good home where they were, and there was enough available bodies for them there. There is a type of body that these demons look for. One that is willing to house them. Demons can enter through false worship, practicing magic, sorcery, and child sacrifice. But demons can also enter victims of abuse. If the culture that these people were living in was depraved, and it was because it was first a Greek and later a Roman region (not an Israeli region), then they would want to stay in a place where people’s minds and hearts would let them in. 

Think of places where spiritual darkness resides, this is where demons want to live. Think about places like Germany after world war one, where the elites set up houses of prostitution for men, women, and children, as well as institutes exploring sexual perversions and early transgender surgeries. What is the United States turning towards? We have one “sin city” which now doesn’t look particularly sinful in comparison to the present day. It is not just false worship that allows demons entrance it is many behaviors that stray from the knowledge of the Elohim, until they deny the Elohim as Creator. This is in part the reason for the laws of Moses, so that people would keep demons out. Think about the curses the Jews put on themselves, demons enter with self imposed curses. 

These are not just demon possessed people living in tombs, they also live in all cities and towns and they go to synagogues and churches. 

Mar 1:23  And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,

Screaming again. Demons make people scream.

Mar 1:24  Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

It is interesting that demons confess Jesus is the Holy One of the Elohim. There are many people who do not believe in Jesus Messiah but the demons do. 

Mar 1:25  And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

Mar 1:26  And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.

More screaming and this time convulsing. Demons don’t like leaving their host. People understood what was going on. They understood that they could have demons. What they wanted was to be free so they followed Jesus and brought their friends and family.

Mar 3:10  For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.

Mar 3:11  And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.

Demons fall at Jesus’ feet, yelling that he is the Son of the Elohim. Once again, demons testify of Jesus. 

Mar 3:12  And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.

We might ask why Jesus didn’t want demons to make him known. Jesus was just beginning his ministry healing people and didn’t need the contentions of being called the Son of God. He needed to show the people the power of the Elohim working in him so that they could decide without the controversy. 

People can control demons, kick demons out of themselves, and behave properly, emotionally controlled in public and private. If we in the church will make known the scriptures we can heal people instead of allow them to be constantly demon controlled, screaming and yelling because the only relief from demons they know of is pharmaceutical drugs. Yet because the kings and rulers of the world are anti-Christ’s and they convene against Yahweh and the Messiah, they do not want people to find salvation through Christ. These corrupt kings and rulers want to give people their idea of salvation, which is drugs. This is why our kings and rulers do not speak about mental health issues. They want people demonically controlled which will mean the kings and rulers will have the support of the people as long as the people get their drugs. It is an old story that plays over and over. There is another way, Jesus Christ is better than any pharmaceutical drug. He is the prince of peace, he will share his peace with us. It is time of us to teach the world.  

Potentate’s Name; Unclean Spirits Testify; Cast Them Out; Celestial, Terrestrial, Subterranean

If we only had a magic word, we could fix all the problems on the earth. Unfortunately life doesn’t work that way. But we do have a word of authority that we can use spiritually in all situations, the name Jesus Christ. Jesus is the logos of the Elohim. He is the living word of God. By His name all spiritual sons of God must bow. When we look at history we know that there were many things done to attempt to erase Jesus as Messiah. The strange thing is, when Jesus was on the earth, the demons all knew who he was. Demons testified of Jesus Christ. It is the name that holds the authority; not because it is a magic name, but because it has power and authority behind it. If we walk spiritually for Jesus, we have the use of his name. The authority of Jesus’ name supersedes all other names. What we learn from Jesus’s experiences with demons is that the demons are well aware of their rights, and in fear of their future. When Paul told us that every language will agree Yahweh Jesus Christ, he meant every earthy language, every heavenly language, and every language from the other sons of God. Because of Jesus’ coming to earth to rescue manfaced, he has a name that actuates changes on the earth. If we are of Jesus Christ we have the right to His name.

Paul talks about his suffering for the gospel and tells us that we will all experience suffering when we are preaching the gospel. While no one wants to suffer in any social regards, Paul says that there is a comfort for him. It is the fulfilling of Paul’s joy for us to know Jesus and have his love in one mind.

The LXX-WH notes these pronouns more specifically, using 846 as compared to 1473. Notice here Paul says “think or understand”. It could be understand things, or understand Him, but not necessarily the “same”. In order to preach the gospel we do need to have the understanding of Jesus and His love and be of one mind having that one understanding. Not all people will think the same way about Jesus because we are all at different levels of maturity, but when it comes to preaching the gospel, we can have the understanding of Him and His love. This is why we are preaching the gospel, because Jesus loves people. We also suffer and endure because of His love for us. We can endure hardships because of his love. We also do not do anything for our own personal gain but for others.

We are to have the understanding in us which is in Jesus Christ. The understanding is the joint heir partnership between Jesus the Messiah and us. Jesus came to earth in a human body as a servant, not like the gods and demi-gods who would come to earth to steal what they could from mortals.

The mythologies of the day did not have gods and demi-gods become sacrifices for the humans, but Jesus was not a demi-god, he was an Elohim. Yet as an Elohim he came to earth in a body to overcome death for every human. Now he has a name above all names.

The name of Jesus is over all names. The authority of the name of Jesus supersedes all other names, everywhere. All languages will admit and acknowledge Yahweh Jesus Messiah. It does not matter what religion a person has, Yahweh is Jesus Christ. In the origin, Jesus was the logos, he was Yahweh Elohim. Today Jesus is the living logos of the Elohim, and at his name (Yahweh Jesus Christ) every spiritual being bends their knees, no matter where they are. Bending the knee is submission. Every spiritual being submits to Yahweh Jesus Christ. 

All names can be translated differently in various languages, and sometimes we misunderstand translated names because of variations in the usages of consonants and vowels in those other languages. For example, Yeshua is Hebrew and translated into English as Jesus. In English, translating back to Hebrew, Yeshua is Joshua. From Hebrew to Greek, Yeshua is Iesous. In Aramaic, the name Jesus is Eashoa. In Latin, Jesus is Iesvs, (remember Indiana Jones almost blew it with the “J” for Jehovah in The Last Crusade). Now, if we take the name Jesus and translate it into modern languages, we have a whole host of different variations. Which one is right? Truly, it doesn’t matter, the Angel told Mary and Joseph to call him Jesus, or in their Northern Israeli language of Aramaic, Eashoa. However in the Old Testament Jesus is called Joshua, not Joshua the son of Nun (at least this Joshua has an identifier), but Joshua the High Priest.

We see the variation in Jesus’ name in different languages, but it is not the word, it is the authority that the name represents. We see this as Jesus walks through Israel healing people and the demons know who he is. Sometimes Jesus tells the demons not to tell people who he is.

The demons knew Jesus, the logos. The demons see him and understand who he is. Demons are disembodied spirits of the heirs of Nephilim, and they understand who Jesus is. Jesus did not discharge them to speak. Jesus did not release them to speak. Jesus did not permit them to speak. Because this was so early in Jesus’ ministry he did not want the knowledge of who he was to be announced yet. This causes people to question and become curious so that they come to know Jesus as more than someone who casts out demons. 

If demons know who Jesus is, the living logos of the Elohim, Yahweh Jesus Christ, then it is reasonable to understand why Satanas would want to hide who Jesus is. The demons seem to be unable to control themselves when they are standing in front of the Creator.

Demons see Jesus and fall towards or prostrate while crying out that Jesus is the Son of the Elohim. Demons are bowing to Jesus. They are yelling that Jesus is the Son of the Father Elohim. Let’s think about this. Demons torture and attempt to control the humans they inhabit. But when Jesus shows up they fall down and scream about who he is. They cannot control themselves. In order to control themselves Jesus has to command them not to speak. Yet in this case Jesus rebukes the demons so that they do not make him visible or open to sight.

The LXX-WH translates this phrase as follows:

“Who to me and to thee” 

The word “who” is an interrogative pronoun τίς, which could be translated “who” “which” or “what”. Basically this demon is asking who Jesus is there for, is it him? Or we might say, ‘who are you here for’. The demon is asking this question because he knows that he has every right to inhabit the man he possesses. The demon also knows that he is speaking for other demons, so maybe Jesus has come for another demon who broke the rules and can be sent to be tortured. Jesus tells the demon to come out from out of the manfaced.

The man in this incident had many demons, with one demon to speak for all of them. This demon notes Jesus as the Son of the highest Elohim. This demon is asking Jesus to swear an oath by the Elohim not to torture him. It is interesting that this demon, who is in a higher position over the other demons inside this man, adjures or asks for an oath from Jesus not to torment him. In other words the demon is asking not to be beaten up. This is the ultimate reality for demons, they will be tortured, but not now. There is a place designated for demons to be tortured, eternally. This demon keeps asking and calling to Jesus to not torture him and send them “outside the region”. This demon is asking not to go to the final place of torture, so Jesus sent them into the pigs. The demon knew who Jesus was and begged for his life, so to speak. Ultimately that demon and the others had to obey Jesus, they had to leave their human host.

The people in Capernaum were thunderstruck or astounded by his teachings because his logos was with exousia, or superhuman, or like a potentate. Jesus is the logos, so of course his words had the power and authority of a superhuman potentate. He is/was a superhuman potentate. Yet the people did not know or understand who exactly he was. It seems we can count on our enemies to tell the truth when under duress. 

Luke 4:33 G2532 And G1722 in G3588 the G4864 synagogue G1510.7.3 was G444 a man G2192 having G4151 a spirit G1140 [²demon G169 ¹of an unclean], G2532 and G349 he shouted aloud G5456 [²voice G3173 ¹with a great],

Luke covers all the bases here, calling this spirit an “unclean demon”. This spirit who is an unclean demon shouts very loudly. Why are they always shouting? Is it because they are trying to be heard, when normally people can’t hear them? Why are they so scared of Jesus? 

Luke 4:34 G3004 saying, G1436 Alas, G5100 what is it G1473 to us G2532 and G1473 to you, G* Jesus -- G* Nazarene? G2064 Are you come G622 to destroy G1473 us? G1492 I know G1473 you, G5100 who G1510.2.2 you are, G3588 the G39 holy one G3588   G2316 of God.

This is the second time we see this phrase used.  The LXX-WH records it this way.

“Aha who for us and to thee Jesus Nazarene to come destroy us. ”

This unclean demon spirit is asking who of them Jesus came to destroy. By the question alone we see that there must be more than one unclean demon sprit present. The unclean demon spirit says “I know you, who you are”. How does this demon know Jesus? Jesus is the creator, he sees Jesus with spiritual eyes, being a spirit and all. He knows Jesus, which can also tell us that he had some other encounter with either Jesus or Yahweh Elohim, prior to Jesus’ coming to the earth. Was this demon among the people of Sodom? Was this demon among the Philistines? Was this demon among the rulers of Babylon? If this unclean demon spirit was among all the other enemies of Israel throughout the ages, he would certainly have come in contact with Yahweh Jesus Christ. 

This unclean demon spirit calls Jesus “the Holy the Elohim”. This tells us that other religious leaders were not of the Holy Elohim, and he can see the difference. This demon is not crying loudly when the Pharisees walk by. He is not intimidated when the Sadducees come to the synagogue. He is obviously feeling tortured by the presence of Jesus Christ. 

It is also important to notice that some demons know their rights. They know that they cannot be sent to be tortured until their time

Jesus rebuked this unclean demon spirit and said “be muzzled or silenced”. Everyone saw what Jesus said and what the unclean demon spirit’s response was. Everyone saw Jesus the logos as a superhuman potentate. 

Luke 4:36 G2532 And G1096 there became G2285 a stupefaction G1909 upon G3956 all, G2532 and G4814 they conversed together G4314 with G240 one another, G3004 saying, G5100 What G3588   G3056 word G3778 is this, G3754 that G1722 with G1849 authority G2532 and G1411 power G2004 he gives orders G3588 to the G169 unclean G4151 spirits, G2532 and G1831 they come forth?

There became an amazement over all the people in Capernum that day. The people ask among themselves what logos (exousia) superhuman potentate power and (dunamis) miracle working power commands the unclean spirits and they come out. Jesus is the logos. His name is the logos of the Elohim. That is his power. The power does not lie in the actual name “Jesus” or “Joshua” it lies in the position that he has as Creator and Elohim. 

Jesus now goes to Peter’s house. He heals Peters mother-in-law, then the demons testify of Jesus again. 

Luke 4:41 G1831 And there came forth G1161   G2532 also G1140 demons G575 from G4183 many, G2896 crying out G2532 and G3004 saying G3754 that, G1473 You G1510.2.2 are G3588 the G5547 Christ G3588 the G5207 son G3588   G2316 of God. This time demons coming out of many people declared the same thing. They shouted that he, Jesus, is the Christ, the Son of the Elohim. Right here, early in Jesus’ ministry, demons declare Jesus the Messiah. The people knew Jesus was a Nazarene but they did not know that Jesus was the Messiah until the demons announced it. The demons were announcing Jesus as the Son of the Most High, the Son of the Elohim, and now they are declaring him Messiah. 

Luke records that the demons associated with Legion asked not to go into the abyss. The abyss is a bottomless pit.

This is not the place that humans go. We see from Revelation 9 that it is a locked place where smoke will come out when opened. Then locusts will come out during the fifth trumpet. The angel of the abyss is Abaddon or Apollyon, Gog the Locust king. 

This is important to understand. Demons have a set time on the earth. They have rules that they must abide by, which is why demons ask Jesus who he had come for, they must abide by the rule that they can inhabit a human if the human gives them permission. Once the human wants them to leave they are no longer allowed in that human unless the human is tricked into allowing them in again.

Luke 8:35 G1831 And they came forth G1161   G1492 to behold G3588 the G1096 thing taking place. Now we see the man who had the legion of demons leave him, sitting at Jesus’ feet. He was wearing clothes. He also had a sound mind, he was able to think clearly. Demons make people crazy. Sometimes we look at the society around us and wonder why people with loud voices act and behave insanely. Demons have loud voices. Unclean demon spirits, the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim that are going to be chained and tortured in the abyss make their human host crazy. Demons know their future. They are not stupid, they are fully aware of what will happen when Jesus returns on the Day of the Lord. 

What the unclean demon spirits reacted to is Jesus himself. Yet Paul says that every knee bows, in the celestial, terrestrial, and the subterranean. Paul also said that every tongue will agree Yahweh Jesus Christ. This is why Jesus’ name is powerful, it is not the name by itself, it is the one who represents the name, the superhuman potentate, our Creator. This is why Satanas tried to erase Jesus from history, and from Judaism. The Pharisaical mission after Jesus died was to find a different man to be Messiah. The Masoretic mission was to erase the prophecies that Jesus fulfilled which were unique to Jesus, such as being born of a virgin, or healing eyes born blind. They intentionally changed those things, as well as dates and times to confuse their own people because by 300 CE the rest of the world wasn’t listening to the Jews anymore. 

The complexities that surround the attempt to erase Jesus as Messiah are far reaching as we have seen over the past few weeks. We have compared texts and we have noticed several things awry. Changes and alterations were made to the Masoretic text to ensure that Jesus would not be recognized as Lord and Messiah. These alterations started in the first century and spanned nearly 1000 years. Once the Masoretic text was complete, Jews had a text that read differently than the Septuagint. The Septuagint being older and scribed under the authority of the High Priest and the Sanhedrin prophesied a coming Messiah, but when that Messiah actually came he was rejected. Therefore to alter text and to alter meanings and usages of words would be the way to dismiss the one who came as Messiah. We have studied the word Elohim. Yahweh is Elohim, the devil is elohim, angels are elohim, and humans are elohim. Yet the Jews believe Jesus Christ was not Elohim. That means Jesus is the only one who is not Elohim. All anyone needed to do was a simple word study to make sense of the word Elohim, yet somehow we let people lie and confuse us. Also the usage of “im” in a Hebrew word denotes plurality. There is a singular, a duel, and a plural in Hebrew, and plural signifies three or more. Yet the Masorete’s claim that in the word Elohim, the “im” doesn’t count. In every other word in the Hebrew language “im” is plural, except in Elohim. This is the way the Masorete’s deny the Godhead as being Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. And yes the word “trinity” is actually in the Bible, it is in the Aramaic. This alteration of the word Elohim also is an attempt to set the Jews apart from other religions, claiming Christianity to be pagan. So with these two examples alone we start to see a planned pattern emerging.

The Masorete’s also changed the word Yahweh to Adonai over 134 times in the text. E.W. Bullinger notes these discrepancies in appendices 32 and 33 of the Companion Bible. There are two typographical errors in the list and a more accurate listing can be found online, but he still did pretty good work in the 1800’s. Once the usages or meanings of Elohim and Yahweh is distorted, a different message starts to emerge. The new message seems to be that “God” is doing both good and bad things to humankind; that “God” is harsh, and He is too mysterious to figure out. And while Jesus was not erased from history, the new message that emerges from these changes is that Jesus is a questionable individual who was simply born a man, but somehow “became” a savior to the pagans. That idea leads to the distortion of dispensations, where the Jews have tried to erase the idea that a new system of grace and salvation came about after Jesus died. Oddly enough, without the temple from about 70 AD through to today, something obviously changed and without Jesus it changed to the detriment of the Jews. But truly the story is very different. The intentional changes to the text inadvertently changed the truth about the very Elohim the Jews attempt to worship. While people might have thought that these changes would be helpful to their cause, it poisoned the entire world when the Latin text was copied and translated from the Masoretic text.

While it is not my intent to disparage Jews, it is my intent to point out the alterations made so that we have a better understanding of the Bible and what the Holy Spirit wanted communicated to humanity. The Masorete’s have hidden in the shadows accusing the Romans of textual misconduct, and while the Romans merged paganism into Christianity and burned many texts (primarily gnostic writings), the Romans didn’t tamper with the written words, the Masorete’s did. Both parties used social engineering to enhance their cause and both parties were wrong for doing so. The Romans kept Jesus as Lord and God and the Jews dismissed Jesus as Lord and God. We cannot change history but we can use technology to our advantage to uncover alterations that seem to discredit the Bible. The Jewish alterations started in the first century and continued through the Masoretic time period; that amounts to one thousand years of changes before the Masoretic text was finished. The Masorete’s have been responsible for sending their own people into confusion and dismay, ultimately hindering them from their Messiah. Today, supporters of that religion attempt to turn Christians away from Jesus with a confusing gospel that only they can explain, and because the churches are weak in teaching advanced Bible study, people fall away from Jesus.

No matter what humans do to erase Jesus there is still power and authority in his name. John was rather young when he followed Jesus as a disciple. John tells Jesus something interesting. There were people that the disciples didn’t know using Jesus’ name.

Mark 9:38 G611 [³responded G1161 ¹And G1473 ⁴to him G3588   G* ²John], G3004 saying, G1320 Teacher, G1492 we beheld G5100 a certain one G3588   G3686 in your name G1473   G1544 casting out G1140 demons, G3739 who G3756 does not G190 follow G1473 us; G2532 and G2967 we restrained G1473 him, G3754 for G3756 he does not G190 follow G1473 us.

Someone was casting out demons who did not hang out with the disciples. John and whoever was with him told this person not to use Jesus’ name. Jesus said do not prevent him casting out demons.

People who manufacture dunamis miracle power on the name of Jesus will not be capable of quickly reviling (bad logos) Jesus. If someone is casting out demons by using Jesus’ name, Jesus believes that one is for them, not against them. Why? The benefit of expelling demons is so that people will be in their right mind. Then bringing people into a personal relationship with Jesus is easy. 

Using the name of Jesus is a tool for disciples in setting people free. Jesus is the living logos of the Elohim, his name is light and life. Jesus’ name is not a magic word but it is the superhuman potentate miracle power on the earth and we are his representatives. Demons testified as to who Jesus is, and they were scared of Him for good reason, they know they will be sentenced to the abyss in the future. Every knee bows and every tongue agrees Yahweh Jesus Christ.
