Born again believers in Christ have jurisdiction. We have supra-mundane powers. We sit above snakes, scorpions, and the strength of the enemy. Jesus made us superhuman, we are rulers and potentates. Our position of power is from Jesus Christ our Lord. We have the ability to utilize it. Demons are assigned beneath us. We have supra-mundane powers or powers that are transcendent and superior to the physical world. All the bloviating of Satanas and Drakon about transhumanism, genetic alterations, hybrids, make no difference to us, we are above them all and have jurisdiction over them all. We can rise up as David did and bring the spiritual battle into the physical realm. Our jurisdiction encompasses fallen angels, demons, hybrids, transhuman beings, evil people, Satanas, and Drakōn. We have jurisdiction and a word of power.
Just after the 2016 elections in the United States, someone in Australia from a popular worship ministry made some snide comments regarding those who elected the new president. Quickly someone from that ministry apologized for that individuals comments. At that time in the Body of Christ there was a false teacher making headlines across the globe with claims that there is no hell. This false teachers rational was that a “loving God would never send anyone to hell”. Of course this was embraced widely in churches because of the potential to bring in new tithes and offerings from new members (Yippee! Everyone goes to heaven! Now pass the offering plate).
The false teacher also contended that if Jesus was just a guy whose birth father was named “Larry” then would we still love him? It was the era of the “happy clappy church” where everyone wanted to be worshippers just like David. The problem was the imbalance. Firstly, hell is a real place, written of quite often in the Bible. Secondly, to infer that God “sends” people anywhere misstates God himself, as if God is a puppet master and we are marionettes. We send ourselves to hell if we so choose, it is always our choice. We can confess Jesus as our Lord, believing that he rose up on the third day, or not. It is fully our decision. Our strings are not being pulled by God. Thirdly, David was not a happy clappy person. He danced before the Lord in joy, but that is not all that he did. He imprecated his enemies, he was a giant slayer, and he taught us how to wage spiritual war in the courts of the Lord. Fourthly, a guy named Larry did not spawn a son who can atone for our sins by his blood, and Larry is not seated at the left hand of Jesus.
Sadly, today Australia is reverting into a penal colony again, while the aforementioned church is embroiled in new scandals. The damage of those same false teachings within the United States caused a rift within the Church which threatens the freedom and liberty of all Americans. Why does a false teacher’s lies cause entire nations to fall? Because it took away the God given responsibilities of the individual people to trample snakes, scorpions, and the force of the enemy. Instead, the false teachings convinced born again believers that we were puppets, so that no matter what we did, we didn’t have any choices or jurisdiction. In other words, the pseudo teachers said, ‘no worries, we all go to heaven’. Well played Satanas.

Looking at the disciples in Luke, Jesus told them that they were being sent out as lambs among the wolves. There is a discrepancy as to how many disciples were sent. Some versions say seventy and some say seventy two. Either way, Jesus told them that he was sending them out to heal the sick and to preach the kingdom of God.

This was such a surprise to the seventy two disciples that the first thing on their minds after going into the cities and healing the sick is that demons were subject to them. Diamonion are assigned beneath us. The lambs have become lions among wolves. We are lions among wolves. This is how David acted, this is our example.

Why is Satanas falling from heaven? Isn’t this the place that he accuses us before the throne day and night? Satanas made a very fast trip to earth to deal with the problem of demons being in subjugation to the seventy two disciples. This was such a new problem that Satanas did not have a way of dealing with it. He had to personally assess the situation.
There is another meaning here. The word πεσοντα besides meaning “falling”, means “prostrate”. It is the same thing that the stars/angels do in the book of revelation, they “alight”. Not only did Satanas rush back to earth he collapsed or bowed to Jesus. The idea is that he recognized his kingdom of evil did not have free rein any longer and was now under “judgment” and “condemnation” also defined by πεσοντα. This is important. As long as Satanas can deceive us into thinking that we are powerless worms who are his punching bag, then we will never rise up. However Satanas knows the power within us, especially after the day of pentecost, when the Holy Spirit dwells in us permanently. We can walk in our authority or not, but if we don’t it is because we are deceived into believing that we are subordinated to Satanas, fallen angels, and demons. It truly is the other way around, we have the authority over them. Jesus says so.

“See I offer you the (exousia) authority the tread above serpent and scorpion and on all the (dunamis) power the hateful and no one you no not wronged injustice”
When we look at how the LXX-WH translates this verse we see a word used twice; 91 αδικησει “wronged” and 91 αδικηση “injustice”. What Jesus is saying is that the demons and spirits are subordinate underneath you because you have exousia and dunamis which is above the hateful enemy, and when you use it, no one, no, not anyone will wrong you unjustly. There is a triple negative here. You will not be wronged or unjustly treated when you tread on snakes and scorpions and the hateful enemy. The connotation from Jesus is yes, use your authority on snakes, scorpions, and the enemy because there will not be wrong or injustice used against you.
This also tells us that if there is a just cause for us to be attacked then we will be attacked. Satanas accuses us before the throne day and night, and that means that if there is a just cause for us to be accused and attacked then we will be. We have to see this clearly. If we have nothing to be accused of, no sin or intentionally bad behaviors, then we cannot be harmed. If we do have sin in our lives, our best remedy is to go before the Lord, confess, repent, and claim the blood for atonement. Then, when we stand against the snakes, scorpions, and the strength of the hateful, then nothing, nothing, nothing, no wrong and no injustice, will come on us.
The word exousia is different than dunamis even though both are translated “power”. Exousia is “authority”, “jurisdiction” as well “supra-mundane powers”. In other words, those with exousia are superhuman potentates who have delegated influence, mastery, and are rulers or magistrates. The ones with exousia are endued with a position of authority over and above humans, demons, and the kingdom of the enemy. Jesus did say that we are made kings and priests by his blood. Therefore, exousia gives us jurisdiction over snakes, scorpions, and the “might”, “strength”, or “force”, dunamis, of the enemy. Although the enemy has “inherent power” or “abilities”, we have jurisdiction over his dunamis.
The word tread or trample implies violence. Pateō means to “crush with the feet”. We are to trample snakes, scorpions, and the power of the hateful enemy, just as if we are crushing a bug. The perspective here is a forceful, intentional, trampling. We don’t poke at the power of the enemy, we trample it. We treat it with insult and contempt, desecrating it’s memory. Violently, snakes, scorpions, demons, fallen angels, Satanas, and Drakōn are under our feet. They all have been assigned beneath us.
We should be jumping up and down over (on) this (literally), but the cunning of Satanas was to immediately start a disinformation campaign with regards to who we are. We are no longer lambs among the wolves, we are lions among wolves. Who we are is who Jesus made us to be. Believing a lie has consequences. The seventy two were excited that demons were assigned beneath them, then they found out that they had more authority in the universe than snakes, scorpions, and the dunamis of the hateful enemy. Paul uses the words principalities, powers, and the ruler of darkness. Jesus told them that Satanas was so upset that he fell to earth as fast as lightning, he also bowed to Jesus, realizing his kingdom is under our jurisdiction and judgment. Satanas immediately used false prophets and false teachers to misinform everyone.
It is unfortunate that we haven’t risen up to this level, but this is the call to our generation. All intercessors and prayer warriors stand above the enemy and bring judgment against his kingdom. Isn’t this what David did? David used his authority in the courts of heaven to wage spiritual war with physical consequences against the enemies of Yahweh and David. Yet even with all the attention to our position above snakes, scorpions, and the dunamis of the hateful, that literal position is not as great as our names inscribed in heaven.

“However in this not rejoice that the spirits assigned beneath you but rejoice that your name inscribed in the heaven”
Whose names are not inscribed in heaven? If one’s name is not inscribed in heaven, where then is that one going upon death? Jesus says that being a super human potentate with supra-mundane powers is not as joyful as being inscribed in heaven. Understand what Jesus is inferring. There are many kings, prime ministers, and presidents, who have power and authority, but they pale in comparison to those who have jurisdiction with spirits assigned beneath them. It is far better to go to heaven, as not all kings, prime ministers, or presidents, go to heaven. Our position with exousia, supra-mundane powers, will affect the physical realm. David is our example.
What is a serpent? We know that there is the serpent of Genesis 3:15, but there are people who are called “serpents”. David explains this further in Psalm 58. David starts with “Into the end, do not utterly destroy”, referring to the end of the age.

This is a creative way of saying ‘separate the wicked from procreation’. Every time evil people procreate the spread of wicked hearts advances. The ones who speak lies, the imposters, should not reproduce, that is David’s prayer. That was the prayer/song on the monument that all of Israel was to read and recite. Isn’t it funny how David got others to declare this by putting it on a monument?

“Their passion/wrath downward the resemblance serpent, just as if cobra dumb and immersion his ear”
The lawless in heart have a negative passion, they rage and are wrathful. They have a resemblance of a serpent, ophis, from heaven. It is a “downward resemblance”, meaning that the one that they resemble is above them. In other words, humans who have become lawless in their heart start to take on the traits of the fallen sons of God. They may not be heirs of the fallen angels, but they start to behave like them.
The wild wrath of the lawless heart is also like a cobra that cannot speak and refuses to hear, by plugging or immersing his ears. This last phrase should connect to the next verse.
There are two stories written for us in the heavens, the beginning of corruption and the end of corruption. The first story is in the constellation of Scorpio. The decan Ophiuchus is holding back the serpent, Serpens. This tells us a story of Serpens attempting to steal the crown. Serpens wants dominion, but Ophiuchus holds him back while Ophiuchus’ foot is on the scorpion. Technically, Ophiuchus should be the dominant constellation, not Scorpio, as the sun only goes through Scorpio for six days as compared to Ophiuchus through which the sun travels for seventeen days. Also, Scorpio is under the ecliptic, whereas Ophiuchus is above the ecliptic. The scorpion is brushing Ophiuchus’ heel. This hidden and distorted knowledge has kept us from understanding our story. The serpent attempted to steal dominion over humans.

The end of our story is prophesied in the heavens. The constellation of Leo shows us the lion who destroys the serpent called Hydra. Hydra means “the separated, the abhorred, the piercing of the deceiver”. The lion from the tribe of Judah tears the serpent into pieces; then the ravens, Corvus, devour the serpent. The cup of wrath is poured out on Hydra and Hydra is no longer a threat to humans. This story is ahead of us.
What do these two stories tell us? They show humans that we have more than one enemy. We have several enemies who were created long before humanity was created. We are reminded by Peter that angels sinned. These enemies, these fallen sons of God, created the entropy in our universe by their mutiny. The creation will continue to toil and groan under decay and destruction until the apocalypse of the sons of God.
Why are the lawless in heart behaving like the serpent? How do they become lawless?

“Who not hearken tone expelled magician also medicated in the presence of learned.”
The cobra who is dumb or mute, immerses his ears and does not listen to the tones played by a magician. The idea is that the lawless in heart are like cobras who can’t speak and who won’t listen to the music that a sorcerer plays. But there is more here. The second part of the verse says that the cobra is medicated in the presence of the learned. The key to snake charming is medicating the snake with something first to calm it down and heighten its senses to the music. Regular people don’t know that this takes place, but the wise do. This is the lawless heart. The lawless heart is medicated by people who are wise regarding pharmaceuticals. A sorcerer is a pharmakeus who uses pharmakons, it is manipulation via herbs or drugs; basically any engineered potion or medication. But lawless humans can be “medicated” by lusts (child/human trafficking). The skill of the sorcerer is to know the subject that one wishes to influence, and then use the correct pharmakons. This is how people become lawless, they are drawn to something that makes them feel good.

A lawless heart is being manipulated by a sorcerer using drugs and or lusts, but when something goes wrong they become enraged or filled with wrath. They then start to resemble the likeness of the ophis. They want to dominate, or control others. The lawless heart is so overcome by the sorcerer that he or she does not function as children of the Most High do. The key here is that as more and more people are manipulated into lawlessness, the society becomes unbalanced. The lawless hearts, the impostors, and the wicked, become the determining influence over the world while the children of God are shut up. This is societal entropy. The law of chaos that cannot be reversed.
The children of the Most High haven’t woken up to this understanding yet. We have the jurisdiction over these people, we need to rise up. We are the superhuman rulers, we have supra-mundane power that affects all spirits, demons, fallen angels, Satanas, and Drakōn. This is our jurisdiction while we are on the earth.

“Despised like as water travel through, intensify/extensors his bow until that weak.”
Water runoff is the picture that David wants us to have. Water that travels through and is not contained is not useful. Water that can be contained and diverted is not despised. So this indicates that David is speaking of these people as “water that is not useful”, it just runs off. The idea of a bow being intensified or extended until it is weak tells us that we are praying against their weaponry. We are praying for their weapons to become weak, so weak that they break.

“Just as if wax melt down are countered. Fall down fire on them and not remember sunlight.”
Just like wax melting off of a candle, they should be melted like wax when we counter them. They should simply melt like the ‘wicked witch of the west’ when a bucket of water is thrown on her. David is teaching us to pray against them, like fire falling down on them, so that they do not remember the sun. Think about this. If the wicked, impostors, and lawless in heart, are always under the judgment of Yahweh, called on by Yahweh’s people, they won’t remember the sun, they will only know the fire. It takes the sons of the Most High God to call down fire on them. If we don’t ask, it doesn’t happen. We are to petition the courts of heaven for fire on these lawless in heart people, so that their own personal entropy will be accelerated and they melt like wax.
David now gives us a riddle. He talks about thorn bushes.

“Before the comprehension, your acanthus, the rhubarb, as though alive, as though in wrath, he drinks down.”
Acanthus is a medicinal plant that can be used to treat asthma, diabetes, leprosy, hepatitis, snake bites, and arthritis, as the leaves contain antioxidant properties. Rhubarb, ράμνον, here is not what we use to bake into pies, but Buckhorn, as the translation is a little odd. It is used as a laxative, and also has other medicinal benefits as an anti-inflammatory, and can help with cuts, burns and eczema. We have two plants that we would take the leaves from and dry them. Acanthus would be a pain relieving tea and buckhorn would be a laxative.
David is telling us to think this through so that we can gain knowledge. It is really a joke. What David is suggesting is that because we are calling on Yahweh to bring judgment on the lawless hearts, these wicked people will be under judgment and fire thus making them angry. In their anger they will grab the wrong tea and drink a laxative. Knowing that they did not have central plumbing, and most people did not have chamber pots, they would have to go to the outskirts of the city to relieve themselves. This is how David is telling us to pray. Pray that they grab a laxative from their potion supply and drink it. David is telling us to mentally put this together. Remember, this was on a monument so that all of Israel could know how to pray against the lawless hearts.
David is also suggesting that the lawless hearted people are so spiritually burdened that they don’t feel good and they need medicines. People have also commented that Christians are the most medicated people group, which suggests that the enemy knows how to pray against Christians. Let’s turn the tables. We have the jurisdiction as super human potentates with supra-mundane powers to affect the physical realm.

We have politicians and celebrities who frequently call out curses on others. One person even threatened to “release the whirlwind”. What he was releasing is the fallen Ophanim. When we hear these things then we should be instant in calling for judgment. As the lawless hearted people continue to resemble the serpent who manipulates them with pleasures, they will become more and more mentally imbalanced. Their personal entropy will continue to degrade their own mind and emotions. This affects our entire world. The sons of God cannot understand the degradation of the world until we recognize the law of chaos. It is time to pray the way that David prayed.

Having exousia, jurisdiction over the serpent, evil people aligning with the serpent, are not just in the political or social arena, but also within the body of Christ. As false teachers seem to hypnotize people with sweet words pacifying people into inaction, we are to call them out. Jesus did.

Why is Jesus telling the Pharisees that they cannot flee the judgment of Gehenna if there is no hell? Look, it is nice and easy to tell people to follow your religion of “no hell” because then there is no consequence for any sin that is committed by anyone, ever. It is an easy path to follow, wide and broad, filled with pleasures along the way. But that is not the true path to having your name inscribed in heaven.
Notice what Isaiah prophesies. The Philistines were a mixed tribe of the heirs of the Nephil, hybrids. Or in other words, the heirs of several tribes of angles that fell and procreated with humans. That combined group of people are called the Philistines. They will meet their end with another race of hybrids, asps will procreate flying serpents.
Isaiah 14:29 G3361 Be not glad G2165 G3588 G246 all Philistines, G3956 G4937 for he broke G1063 G3588 the G2218 yoke G3588 of the G3817 one hitting G1473 you. G1537 For from out of G1063 G4690 the seed G3789 of the serpent G1831 shall come forth G1549 a progeny G785 of asps, G2532 and G3588 G1549 their progeny G1473 G1831 shall come forth as G3789 [2serpents G4072 1flying].
Isaiah has a word from the Lord. He says to the Philistines, “don’t be glad mixed races, who are heirs of the Nephil, because the Israelites who smote you now has a broken yoke”. There will be another progeny or descendant from the seed of the serpent of coiled asps, and their descendants come out as flying snakes. The flying snakes will destroy the Philistines. In other words, another race of the seed of the evil satan will kill off the first progeny of the satan, the heirs of the fallen angels. These flying asps will be more deadly to the heirs of the Nephilim, but they will not harm the poor. The poor will be fed, but the heirs of the Nephil will starve. What will the rulers of the goyim say? They will say that Yahweh laid a foundation in Zion and through Him many people will be delivered.
This prophecy has some remarkable implications. We see a second progeny come from the satan. The second progeny will have children that will be flying serpents. The first progeny that came to earth from fallen angels became very large warring beings. People noticed their large stature. David worked especially hard to bring down their numbers. The second progeny will not be like the first. The second progeny will have an ability to fly. This tells us that there is an evolutionary progression in the seed of the serpent. The second seed will have technical abilities. People might not notice them. Maybe they will not look remarkably different. Remember Genesis 3:15, there would be hatred between the woman’s seed and the serpents seed. There seems to also be enmity between the serpents own seed. The first seed taught humans to make instruments of war, the second seed has advanced technology to be able to fly.

Here is something to think about. We still have exousia over snakes, scorpions, and the dunamis of the hateful enemy. It does not matter if the enemy flies, has genetic technologies, or advances transhumanism. We still have supra-mundane power over them. If we take a step backwards then we see that snakes are serpents like the serpent, the serpents fallen seed, or people who behave like the fallen angels who sinned. Scorpions are small stingers, like the demons that come out of the abyss. The hateful enemy with power is the one who is opposed to Christ and to us. There are no spiritual beings, human beings, or hybrid beings, that we are not above, or who are not assigned beneath us.
The book of Job gave us all the keys we needed, and Jesus then gave us the exousia and permission.
Job 40:14 “Acknowledge imprecation that powerful the right hand your rescue”
Job 41:8 “But your hand recall warfare the happening in his body and no longer happen. Not at all (double negative) look upon him, not even on the marvelous speech, not at all (double negative) look upon him.”
Job 41:12 “Not silent on account of him and logos dunamis compassion equal to this”

Imprecations are powerful, giving us deliverance in our right hand. Put your hand on the enemy but do not look at him or listen to him. Use a logos of dunamis from Yahweh, that is mercy, and it is equal to his power. Use your Jurisdiction to trample snakes, scorpions, and the power of the hateful. This is our commission. We are to call out and call down imprecations as David did in the courts of heaven, using superior transcendent powers, supra-mundane powers, in the spiritual realm, affecting the physical realm. Jesus offered exousia to us, we don’t have to use it, we can believe ourselves to be marionettes, controlled and beaten down by the world. Or we can utilize exousia, fight for our nations, our churches, and ourselves, recognizing that snakes, scorpions, the enemy, demons, fallen angels, Satanas, and Drakōn, are all under our feet, and push evil back until we are called up. We are not puppets and we are not controlled, the choice is ours. This is the call to our generation.
