So Simple; Judging in Righteousness; Separated to Seek Yahweh; Understanding Faith

It is so simple that it is hard to believe. In fact, we usually can’t believe it unless we attach qualifications to it. But Yahweh doesn’t put in qualifiers, he keeps it simple. What does Yahweh keep simple? Being judged righteous. Faith is the easiest thing that Yahweh could have used for his people to be counted righteous, but we seem to do our best to make people stress and strain over it. As we studied from “out of faith into faith”, or from out of credence into fidelity, the righteous live by faith. One way to look at faith is to understand that faith is credence and credence is “acceptance”. Faith is also fidelity, and fidelity is “loyalty”. The righteous live by their convictions or by their acceptance and loyalty; faith. Faith is trust. It does not matter what all the chicken littles say. It does not matter what the big bad wolf threatens. It does not matter what the plans of Drakōn and Satanas are for the future. What matters is something as simple as faith, trust, conviction. Faith makes us righteous and righteousness saves us from out of death. The righteous, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were mentioned by Yahweh as an example for being rescued. Yahweh tells Ezekiel that if those men were living during the time leading up to the third wave of captivity into Babylon that they would be rescued because of their own righteousness. We are not burdened with the sins of others, we are only burdened with our own faith. Paul explains that the law increased sin, but Yahweh’s favor superabounds. Paul also says that the world is scheduled for a day of judgment in righteousness, which will be judged by Jesus Christ.

Abram is our first example of faith. All Abram had to do was to trust that what Yahweh said was true, and then he was righteous. In the context, Abram is speaking with Yahweh regarding an heir, and Yahweh tells him that one would come forth from Abram. Yahweh leads Abram outside to look at the stars and tells him that that will be his seed, innumerable.

Genesis 15:6 G2532 And G4100 Abram trusted G*   G3588   G2316 in God, G2532 and G3049 it was imputed G1473 to him G1519 for G1343 righteousness.

1343 LSJ Gloss:δικαιοσύνη righteousness, justice

Dodson:δικαιοσύνη justice, justness, righteousness (usually if not always in a Jewish atmosphere), justice, justness, righteousness, righteousness of which God is the source or author, but practically: a divine righteousness.

1a) the doctrine concerning the way in which man may attain a state approved of God

1b) integrity, virtue, purity of life, rightness, correctness of thinking feeling, and acting

2) in a narrower sense, justice or the virtue which gives each his due

δικαιοσύνη

dikaiosunē dik-ah-yos-oo'-nay From G1342; equity (of character or act); specifically (Christian) justification KJV Usage: righteousness.

Because Abram had pisteuō, faith, trust, belief, in the Elohim, the Elohim counted or esteemed Abram dikaiosunē righteous or just. Faith equals righteousness. If one has faith, that one is counted righteous. This is simple. Abram did not have scrolls of the law, Moses wasn’t even born. Abram had the knowledge that he gained from Noah and Shem, and he had knowledge of Enoch’s writings as Noah and Shem possessed them. That was it. Yet he believed the Elohim Master Yahweh. Then Yahweh reveals to Abram that he, Yahweh, is the “I Am”, the Elohim. Yahweh also mentions that Abrams’ seed will be sojourners and enslaved in another land for four hundred years, but that the fourth generation will return to this land. As we see, at this time Yahweh considers a generation to be one hundred years. All Abram did was to believe what Yahweh said. Then, being righteous, he was told of the future. Let’s fast forward to Solomon.

Proverbs 10:2 G3756 [2shall not G5623 3benefit G2344 1Treasures] G459 the lawless; G1343 but righteousness G1161   G4506 shall rescue G1537 from out of G2288 death.

There is a comparison between the lawless and the righteous. Righteousness rescues from out of death. What makes one righteous? Faith in the Elohim. Righteousness saves us from eternal death. Notice what Ezekiel tells us.

Jezekiel 14:12 (EC Marsh) And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 13 Son of man, if a land shall sin against me by committing a trespass, then will I stretch out my hand upon it, and will break its staff of bread, and will send forth famine upon it, and cut off from it man and beast. 14 And though these three men should be in the midst of it, Noe, and Daniel, and Job, they alone should be delivered by their righteousness, saith the Lord.

Ezekiel was among the second wave of captives from Judah. He sees what caused Yahweh to disperse the nation into Babylon. He is giving prophecies for the people to understand the gravity of the situation. Then Yahweh says that if a land sins against Yahweh he will stretch his hand against them. Pay close attention to what Yahweh says. Not every famine is from Yahweh. But if Yahweh was sending a famine then Noah, Daniel, and Job would be delivered from the famine. Why? Because of their own righteousness. How did they become righteous? They believed what Yahweh said.

Jezekiel 14:15 If again I bring evil beasts upon the land, and take vengeance upon it, and it be ruined, and there be no one to pass through for fear of the wild beasts: 16 and if these three men should be in the midst of it, as I live, saith the Lord, neither sons nor daughters shall be saved, but these only shall be saved, and the land shall be destroyed. 17 Or again if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Let the sword go through the land; and I cut off from them man and beast: 18 though these three men were in the midst of it, as I live, saith the Lord, they shall not deliver sons or daughters, but they only shall be saved themselves. 19 Or if again I send pestilence upon that land, and pour out my wrath upon it in blood, to destroy from off it man and beast: 20 and should Noe, and Daniel, and Job, be in the midst of it, as I live, saith the Lord, there shall be left them neither sons nor daughters; only they by their righteousness shall deliver their souls.

If Yahweh brings evil beasts to take vengeance on Judah, only Noah, Daniel, and Job would be saved, not their sons or daughters, not their wives or their parents. The land would be destroyed, but the righteous Noah, Daniel, and Job would be saved. If Yahweh sends his wrath to destroy everything, then the righteousness of Noah, Daniel, and Job will save their souls. Yahweh explains righteousness.

Jezekiel 18:4 For all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son, they are mine: the soul that sins, it shall die.

5 But the man who shall be just, who executes judgment and righteousness,…9 and has walked in my commandments and kept mine ordinances, to do them; he is righteous, he shall surely live, saith the Lord.

All souls are Yahweh’s, yet that does not mean that all souls go to heaven. Clearly the soul that sins will die. The person who is just or righteous does what is right and just in judgment. That person walks in the commands of Yahweh and does Yahweh’s ordinances and then lives. Yahweh continues.

Jezekiel 18:19 But ye will say, Why has not the son borne the iniquity of the father? Because the son has wrought judgment and mercy, has kept all my statues, and done them, he shall surely live. 20 But the soul that sins shall die: and the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, nor shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the iniquity of the transgressor shall be upon him.

The children are not responsible for the sins of their own Father if the children are righteous. Likewise, the parents are not responsible for the sins of their children. Whoever is righteous is righteous, whoever sins is responsible for his own sin. Think of the time period. The priests were defiling the temple with male and female prostitution, burning incense to idols, worshipping the constellations and stars, passing their children through the fires of Moloch, and the like. The priests were responsible for those behaviors. If their children never entered the priesthood and had no knowledge to what is going on then they were not responsible for the sins of their fathers, the idolatrous priests. Those children would go into captivity if they were righteous, just as the rest of the people who were not slain who were marked because they mourned for the temple. Yes that is correct. The people who mourned and were righteous were marked by angels and then went into captivity. In seventy years their heirs would repopulate Judah again.

Jezekiel 18:21 And if the transgressor turn away from all his iniquities which he has committed, and keep all my commandments, and do justice and mercy, he shall surely live, and shall by no means die. 22 None of his trespasses which he has committed shall be remembers: in his righteousness which he has done he shall live. 23 Shall I at all desire death of the sinner, saith the Lord, as I desire that he should turn from his evil way, and live?

Yahweh would rather people turn away from their sin than die in their sin. If one dies in his/her sin that one is separated from Yahweh. Yahweh says that there is hope that the sinner will repent and turn away from sin. Yahweh extended this provision of repentance so that people can become righteous, walking in His commands and keeping His ordinances. But what if the righteous man turns away from Yahweh?

Jezekiel 18:24 But when the righteous man turns away from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, according to all the transgressions which the transgressor has wrought, none of his righteousness which he has wrought shall be at all remembered: in his trespass wherein he has trespassed, and in his sins wherein he has sinned, in them shall he die.

This is all quite simple. If you walk with Yahweh, keep walking with him up to death. How many people turn away from Yahweh? Enough so that he points out that if one wishes to chase after sin, then whatever righteousness that one had is not remembered. We cannot count on what we did when we were seven years old to make us righteous. The point is, keep on being righteous by continuing to have faith in Yahweh and in what Yahweh says. Go from accepting Yahweh and his word, to loyalty in Yahweh and his word, and live in that loyalty.

Jezekiel 18:25 Yet ye have said, The way of the Lord is not straight. Hear now, all the house of Israel; will not my way be straight? Is your way straight? 26 When the righteous turns away from his righteousness and commits a trespass, and dies in the trespass he has committed, he shall even die in it. 27 And when the wicked man turns away from his wickedness that he has committed, and shall do judgment and justice, he has kept his soul, 28 and has turned away from all his ungodliness which he has committed: he shall surely live, he shall not die.

We can see that the people of Judah thought that all of Yahweh’s ways were mixed up. Who would have caused that confusion? Later during the time of Jesus the Pharisees made such a mess of the laws and commands that in order to fulfill their version of the law they actually stole the homes of widowed women, leaving them homeless. Yahweh’s ways are straight. Yahweh is keeping it simple here. We will live if we are righteous, we will die if we are not. We will be rescued due to our righteousness which comes by our faith or we will perish due to our sin.

Paul gives us a comparison along these same lines but builds on the idea by explaining that through faith in Jesus Christ we receive righteousness as a gift.

Romans 5:17 G1487 For if G1063   G3588 in the G3588 [2of the G1520 3one G3900 1transgression] G3588   G2288 death G936 reigned G1223 through G3588 the G1520 one, G4183 how much G3123 more G3588 the ones G3588 [2the G4050 3abundance G3588   G5484 4of favor G2532 5and G3588 6the G1431 7gift G3588   G1343 8of righteousness G2983 1receiving] G1722 [2in G2222 3life G936 1shall reign] G1223 through G3588 the G1520 one man G* Jesus G5547 Christ.

δίκαιος

dikaios dik'-ah-yos From G1349; equitable (in character or act); by implication innocent, holy (absolutely or relatively) KJV Usage: just, meet, right (-eous).

Through the adam we all became sinners because the adam brought sin into the world through his disobedience. The adam was to be the ruler of the earth or the prince of the earth, but Satanas now has that position. Yet through Jesus Christ who was sinless, many people can now be made righteous. Paul tells us that the law makes more sin.

Romans 5:20 G3551 But law G1161   G3922 entered privately, G2443 that G4121 [2should be superabundant G3588   G3900 1transgression]. G3739 But where G1161   G4121 [2was superabundant G3588   G266 1sin], G5248 [2superabounded G3588   G5484 1favor];

The law came in alongside in order that transgressions would increase. Where sin increased favor abounded exceedingly. What favor? Favor for what? Forgiveness and redemption. The law increased transgressions. As soon as we say ‘do not do this’, people do it. The law exposed sin. By way of the law we could clearly see how many people revered Yahweh and how many people did not. However Yahweh had a remedy for sin which is favor. Favor is spiritual, it is divine influence or merciful kindness. Yahweh’s gracious and merciful kindness superabounded because of the abundance of sin.

Romans 5:21 G2443 that G5618 as G936 [2reigned G3588   G266 1sin] G1722 in G3588   G2288 death, G3779 so G2532 also G3588 the G5484 favor G936 should reign G1223 through G1343 righteousness G1519 to G2222 life G166 eternal G1223 through G* Jesus G5547 Christ G3588   G2962 our Lord. G1473

Sin ruled in death, yet favor ruled by means of righteousness into eternal life by means of Jesus Christ our Yahweh. Favor rules by way of righteousness. Righteousness comes by faith. The natural progressive order is faith in Jesus Christ our Lord which makes one righteous, which means favor rules over sin, giving us eternal life. While the law exposed sin, and sin then abounded, there were many people who did not wallow in sin. However there were more people who did sin than lived by the law.

Review the story of Oolla and Ooliba, in Ezekiel chapter 23, it is the story of Israel, both the northern kingdom and the southern kingdom.

Faith is so simple. It is belief in understanding expectations. Whatever we expect or hope for, faith is understanding those things which haven’t come to pass yet. We hope for things that we currently don’t see such as paradise, heaven, eternal life.

Hebrews 11:1 G1510.2.3 [3is G1161 1And G4102 2belief G1679 5of hoping G5287 4 the reality] G4229 of things, G1650 the proof G3756 not G991 being seen.

2b) the substantial quality, nature, of a person or thing

2c) the steadfastness of mind, firmness, courage, resolution

ὑπόστασις

hupostasis hoop-os'-tas-is From a compound of G5259 and G2476; a setting under (support), that is, (figuratively) concretely essence, or abstractly assurance (objectively or subjectively) KJV Usage: confidence, confident, person, substance.

 5259

ὑπό

hupo hoop-o' A primary preposition; under, that is, (with the genitive) of place (beneath), or with verbs (the agency or means, through); (with the accusative) of place (whither [underneath ] or where [below ]) or time (when [at ])  KJV Usage: among, by, from, in, of, under, with. In compounds it retains the same genitive applications, especially of inferior position or condition, and specifically covertly or moderately .

2476

ἵστημι

histēmi his'-tay-mee A prolonged form of a primary word στάω staō (of the same meaning, and used for it in certain tenses); to stand (transitively or intransitively), used in various applications (literally or figuratively) KJV Usage: abide, appoint, bring, continue, covenant, establish, hold up, lay, present, set (up), stanch, stand (by, forth, still, up).

“But persuasion is understanding expectation, deeds proof not seen.”

Faith or pistis is not a “substance” or an “assurance”. Those things are not solid. How many times have we been assured that things will be fine when they are not? Substance sounds like something mysterious, something we don’t know how to attain. This leaves us with a problem in how to attain faith. Is it like a smiling nurse who doesn’t want to give us the bad news? Or is it a thing that we have to search for but we may not know if we have found it? The unusual translation has caused us problems. It is hupostasis, “under standing”. It is hupo meaning “under”, and histēmi meaning “to stand”. Understanding is “comprehension, grasping, mastery, or perception”. Therefore faith is understanding.

To break down these words, persuasion (noun) is pistis, meaning “faith or moral conviction”. An example of faith is that we all believe air is safe to breathe, and that the ground is firm to stand on. It is something that is concrete in our perception. We were born with this reality and we don’t question it. It is something that we are persuaded in. We don’t wear weighted space suits and breathe oxygen from a tank all day long. Understanding (noun) is hupostasis meaning “perceiving reality”, it is the foundation that one stands on. We comprehend that air is safe to breathe and that the ground is safe to walk on. We believe it, we grasp it. We are not afraid to get out of bed and put our feet on the ground. We are not afraid to inhale. We don’t spend undue time thinking about it, we simply do it. Expectation (verb) elpizō means “to hope for, look for, or expecting”. We expect that when we breathe, the oxygen will be safe for us. We expect that when we stand up, the earth will not cave in underneath us. We expect that the sun will rise whether we see it or not. We expect that storms will come whether we are in them or we watch them from far off. Expectation is a supposition or a calculation that something will happen. We know it will happen, but we do not always know when.

Persuasion is a thing, understanding is a thing, and expectation is an action.

We could say that our moral conviction is the understanding of what we expect will happen, the proof of deeds not yet seen. The two verbs in both  statements are “expecting” and “seen”. We are taking action in expectation of what is not seen. Faith is understanding expectation. We are expecting to see the proof of deeds not yet seen. Our moral conviction is a perceived reality for us. We have calculated that the proofs of the workings of Yahweh in the people who have come before us are indeed truth. We calculate that if Yahweh can work in those people and they trusted Him, then Yahweh can work in us and we can trust Him.

This is what we are to be outspoken about. This is what we need cheerful endurance for. We are well pleasing when we don’t hold back, but instead tell others about Jesus the Messiah, our complete sacrifice.  Our persuasion is that Jesus died and rose up on the third day. Our understanding is that Jesus died and rose up on the third day. Our expectation is that just as Jesus rose up, Jesus will call for us from the clouds. The harpazo hasn’t happened yet, we haven’t seen it. But the reality is that Jesus was crucified and that people saw Him after he died. Just as Jesus was seen by thousands of people, Jesus will call from the clouds, and later He will return back to earth.

We see that persuasion is understanding expectation, deeds proof not seen. Let’s take this a step further. Fidelity is understanding expectation. Remember that we studied from credence to fidelity, Romans 1:17. “Righteousness for Elohim uncovered in us, from out of persuasion into persuasion, just as written ‘but the just live from out of persuasion’”. We grow from credence to fidelity, or acceptance to loyalty. The righteous live from out of fidelity. Fidelity is understanding expectation or understanding what we hope for, and what we hope for is the deeds that prove the unseen. We are uncovered as righteous from out of acceptance into loyalty, and the righteous live from out of loyalty. Loyalty to Jesus Christ is understanding our expectation of His actions that prove what is unseen. We are righteous because we accept that Jesus is Lord. We are loyal to Jesus as our Lord. We understand what to expect from Jesus our Lord. We await Jesus’ actions which will be proof that we believed, trusted, and were persuaded in Him.

Paul, Timothy, and Silas, were in Berea when the Jews from Thessalonica came to Berea to stir up the people against Paul. The brethren quickly sent Paul to Athens by sea, while Timothy and Silas were left in Berea. This was a fast move by the brethren as they didn’t have time to collect Timothy and Silas. As Paul waited for Timothy and Silas in Athens he debated in the synagogue and wandered around the city. The Epicureans (disciples of Epicurus, an Athenian philosopher) and Stoicks (disciples of Zeno of Citium of Athens, a Hellenistic philosopher) took Paul to the Areopagus or Mars Hill where Paul gave a speech which we might wish to repeat to the unsaved. There was a statue on Mars Hill to the Unknown God. Paul is identifying the Unknown God to them. Remember that Paul was a Hellenist Jew and he knew how to debate and speak to philosophers.

Acts 17:24 G3588 The G2316 God, G3588 the one G4160 making G3588 the G2889 world G2532 and G3956 all G3588 the things G1722 in G1473 it, G3778 this one G3772 [3of heaven G2532 4and G1093 5earth G2962 2Lord G5224 1being], G3756 does not G1722 [2in G5499 3handmade G3485 4temples G2730 1dwell],

Paul establishes the Unknown God as the Elohim who created the world. Paul says the that Elohim doesn’t need anything from us but instead gave life and breath to all things.

Acts 17:26 G4160 and he made G5037   G1537 of G1520 one G129 blood G3956 every G1484 nation G444 of men, G2730 to dwell G1909 upon G3956 all G3588 the G4383 face G3588 of the G1093 earth, G3724 having confirmed G4367 beforehand G2540 times G2532 and G3588 the G3734 boundaries G3588 of their dwelling -- G2733  27 G2212 to seek G3588 the G2962 Lord…

Paul explains that we are all of one blood. As Paul told the Galatians, there are no Jews or Greeks, bond or free, male or female, but all are one in Christ Jesus. Now Paul says that all who dwell on the earth are separated and assigned for a proper time and the set territory of their dwelling to seek Yahweh. Remember that after the flood Yahweh told Noah’s descendants to spread out over the earth, but they were afraid that in smaller tribes they would be overcome by other related tribes. It was Yahweh’s plan for manfaced to inhabit all the earth.

Acts 17:27 G2212 to seek G3588 the G2962 Lord, G1487 if G686 then perhaps G1065   G5584 they might grope after G1473 him, G2532 and G2147 might find him, G2544 though indeed G3756 [2not G3112 3far G575 4from G1520 6one G1538 5each G1473 7of us G5224 1being].

All people are made from out of one blood, all ethnos, all ethnic groups of manfaced. It is sad how we let the schemes of Satanas and Drakōn divide us by race, color, gender, and beliefs. All manfaced are from out of one blood, all the nations of earth, and are separated and assigned for a proper time, and the set territory of the nations’ dwelling, in order to seek and in order to find Yahweh. Paul then says that at least they might feel Him and find Him although he is not far from each one of us. This is great news. No matter where we live, no matter what language we speak, no matter what color we are, we are able to feel Yahweh and find him. And no matter where we are, or who we are, he is not distant from any of us. There are many people who do not know how close Yahweh is to us. There are many people who feel alone and abandoned. Yet even though we are of one blood we have been divided into different nations to give us a chance to find Yahweh. If we were under one world wide leader, we could easily be turned away from Yahweh, just as Nimrod did, and just as the anti-christ will do in the future. We are all of one blood, the adam’s blood, but manfaced is separated, but not to our detriment. Yet the satan uses our ethnos to divide us, turning us against one another.

Acts 17:28 G1722 [2in G1473 3him G1063 1For] G2198 we live, G2532 and G2795 move, G2532 and G1510.2.4 are; G5613 as G2532 also G5100 some G3588 of the G2596 [2among you G1473   G4163 1poets] G2046 have said, G3588 For of him G1063   G2532 [2also G1085 3a family G1510.2.4 1we are].

Paul is quoting some Athenian poets or performers in this phrase, which tells us that he did his homework on their culture. Fascinating. Paul did not condemn their culture. He found something in their culture to share with them. “For in Him we live and move and we are, for we are namely genos, family”.  The poets and performers of Athens believed they were all of one genos, or genetic  kin. Paul expounded on this by explaining that not only were the Athenians genetically related but all the nations are genetically related. Paul continues to expound on their own cultural understanding.

Acts 17:29 G1085 [2a family G3767 3then G5224 1Being] G3588   G2316 of God, G3756 ought we G3784   G3543 to think G5557 gold, G2228 or G696 silver, G2228 or G3037 stone, G5480 an imprint G5078 of a craft, G2532 and G1761 thinking G444 of man G3588 [3the G2304 4divine G1510.1 1to be G3664 2like]?

Paul says that possessing therefore the genos of the Elohim, owe no regard to gold, or silver, or stones, engraved art, and inward thoughts and reflections  of manfaced, to be similar to divinity. In other words, throw away all the statues, idols, jewelry, and artwork, and stop thinking so much; none of those things are divine. Paul tells the Athenians that the Elohim overlooked this nonsense and wants all men to repent for our benefit.

Acts 17:30 G3588 [3the G3303 1Indeed G3767 2then] G5550 times G3588   G52 of ignorance G5237 [2having overlooked G3588   G2316 1God], G3569 at present G3853 exhorts G3588   G444 all men G3956   G3837 everywhere G3340 to repent;

  31 G1360 because G2476 he set G2250 a day G1722 in G3739 which G3195 he is about G2919 to judge G3588 the G3611 world G1722 in G1343 righteousness, G1722 by G435 a man G3739 in whom G3724 he confirmed, G4102 [2belief G3930 1having furnished] G3956 to all, G450 having raised G1473 him G1537 from G3498 the dead.

Paul says, indeed therefore the times of ignorance or willful blindness the Elohim overlooked, yet now commands every manfaced everywhere to repent and change their mind. All manfaced in all nations repent now because the Elohim established a day in which he intends to judge the occupied world in righteousness, in a human man which he declared, provided pistis, faith to all, raised Him up from out of the dead. Let’s take this apart. First the Elohim is no longer overlooking idolatry. These Athenians were smart, but today we are smarter. There is a day when the inhabitants of the world will be judged in righteousness. That day is the harpazō. The day that the world is judged as to whether people are righteous is an important day. The people who are righteous are the ones who believe on Jesus Christ as their Yahweh and who believe he rose up on the third day. The day manfaced is judged by a human man is the day of redemption. The rest of the world who are not righteous, who do not believe that Jesus is Yahweh, are left for judgment, which is seven years of tribulation, known as the wrath of the Lamb and the wrath of the Father.

We should understand that the first judgment on the world is when the world is judged in righteousness by a human man who people have faith in. The word anthrōpos translates as “manfaced”, anēr translates as a “male human being”. There is a reason that Paul used these two different words. When speaking of manfaced it is a differentiation between the people of the genos of the adam, and other sons of God with different genos. Angels have a different genos from the heirs of the adam and other sons of God; as do cherubim, seraphim, and ophanim. Each type is a different genos with the exception of the heirs of the Nephilim, which were a mixed genos, human and angel genetics. Jesus Christ was a human male, and Paul uses anēr to explain that he was a male. Remember, the Greeks had a list of gods and demi-gods that they worshipped (which technically were the Nephilim and their heirs). Paul expresses that they should believe Jesus was human, in a human body. He was not manfaced but he was male.

This human male comes to judge the righteous. How do we become righteous? We believe Jesus is the Messiah and that he rose up on the third day. Faith makes us righteous. We grow from accepting Jesus as Messiah to having loyalty to Jesus as our Messiah. From out of credence into fidelity, the righteous live by faith. This is how we can be judged righteous on the day that Jesus calls his saints from the clouds. This is very simple. There is no work to do, just believe. There is no goal to achieve, just believe. Grow faith from accepting Jesus as Yahweh to having loyalty to Jesus as Yahweh, then being righteous, live by conviction. The simplicity of faith erases the law and the need for works to achieve righteousness. By faith we are saved. Simple.

The Groom Coming for the Bride; Words of Light; Ordinances of the Universe; Spewing Rhēma; Psalms 19; Romans 8

David writes about the creation, suggesting that we start to listen to nature with our heart, not our ears. We don’t quite understand creation, but creation is our witness of the Creator. Creation is a message for everyone, but as with all things there are some who reject the Creator for the created things. David writes for the end or the fulfillment, the end of the age. The age is ready to let the heavens declare the glory of the Elohim. David tells us that God’s words are light. When we actually pay attention to our surroundings, we can see the design of the Elohim. We also notice the limitations of the devil and the chaos that the devil has caused on the earth. The daytime spews rhēma. The nighttime reports knowledge. What does that mean? David also paints a picture of a groom coming for a bride, let’s explore.

Paul has many comparisons to Psalms 19. He gives us insight and understanding of the creation in turmoil. He also tells us about those who reject the Creator and calls them morons. We know that our creation is going to heal itself when the sons of the Most High God are revealed.

Romans 8:19 G3588 For the G1063   G603 earnest expectation G3588 of the G2937 creation G3588 [2the G602 3uncovering G3588 4of the G5207 5sons G3588   G2316 6of God G553 1awaits].

The creation is waiting for the uncovering, the apocalypse, of the sons of Elohim. There is a time that the creation is intensely anticipating. It is the revealing of the sons of God.

Romans 8:20 G3588   G1063 For G3153 to vanity G3588 the G2937 creation G5293 was submitted, G3756 not G1635 willingly, G235 but G1223 through G3588 the one G5293 submitting it, G1909 upon G1680 hope;

The creation was unwillingly forced into subjection because of the hostile takeover by the current prince of this world. Notice that the creation has an opinion. It is unwillingly submitting to an enemy. There are hostile forces impacting creation, creation feels it, creation speaks of it.

Romans 8:21 G3754 that G2532 even G1473 [3itself G3588 1the G2937 2creation] G1659 shall be freed G575 from G3588 the G1397 slavery G3588   G5356 of corruption, G1519 unto G3588 the G1657 freedom G3588 of the G1391 glory G3588 of the G5043 children G3588   G2316 of God.

The creation will be freed from enslavement to freedom when the glory of the children of God is uncovered. What will creation look like then? What will creation feel like when it comes out from under enslavement? When all enemies are subdued during the millennial kingdom, creation will heal.

Romans 8:22 G1492 For we know G1063   G3754 that G3956 all G3588 the G2937 creation G4959 groans together, G2532 and G4944 suffers distress together, G891 as far as G3588 the G3568 present.

All creation moans together in common calamity. What calamity? The overthrow of the adam. All creation has pain together. What pain? The pain of corruption and decay. The pain of slavery that causes corruption. We seldom recognize that it was not only humanity that the devil subverted, it was the entire creation. With the created earth under the bondage of the fallen sons of God, the entire creation is in distress.

Romans 8:23 G3756 [2not G3440 3only that G1161 1And], G235 but G2532 also G1473 ourselves G3588 [2the G536 3first-fruit G3588 4of the G4151 5spirit G2192 1having], G2532 even G1473 we G1473 ourselves G1722 in G1438 ourselves G4727 moan, G5206 [2adoption G553 1awaiting] -- G3588 the G629 release by ransom G3588   G4983 of our body. G1473

The children of God, the first fruits of the Holy Spirit since Pentecost, groan, grieve, and feel enclosed by obstacles. We feel burdened and weighted down along with the creation. We feel it, but we don’t know how to express it, to make clear to others that this is not the way it is supposed to be. We are awaiting our release by Jesus’ ransom for our adoption. As we know from Revelation, once the harpazo occurs, more chaos ensues on the earth. During the trumpet judgments, the creation fights against the evil on the earth. But restoration comes after the bowl judgments when the sons of God are revealed from heaven on white horses.

Even though the creation is moaning in pain, if we slow down we will be able to see the Creator in all of creation. The creation is burdened just as we are. The creation still shows the intelligent design of the Creator. David writes a beautiful Psalm regarding the creation and the Creator.

Psalms 19:0 G1519 For G3588 the G5056 director; G5568 a psalm G3588 to G* David.

“Into the fulfillment, a song the David.”

Telos means the end. This is a poetic look at the Creator and creation. It is into the fulfillment, or for the end. There are things about this Psalm that we can now understand as compared to two hundred years ago.

Psalms 19:1 G3588 The G3772 heavens G1334 describe G1391 the glory G2316 of God, G4162 [5 the making G1161 1and G5495 6of his hands G1473   G312 4announces G3588 2the G4733 3firmament].

“The heavens set out in detail renown Elohim, but the foundation report the fabrication your hand.”

The heavens have a detailed account written of the unspoken manifestation of the Elohim. There are many layers to this idea. First, if we look up at the heavens with our naked eye we can see stars and planets, the sun and the moon. If we look at those things we see an unspoken manifestation of a Creator. There is no billboard on the moon that introduces us to our Creator, but we can surmise that the ambiguity of our existence is more than evolutionary. We can see that there is distance and vastness between planets, stars, the sun, and the moon. Our question is then, how did humans or humankind arrive on this planet? Our Bible tells us that the man, the adam, was created from the very dust on this planet. The woman was then taken out of the man as a boēthos, a helper/succorer, or someone to call on, from Yahweh, for help.

Another layer is the prophecies written in the heavens. There was no television when humans were created, but there were stars and planets. The pattern of the stars form constellations. The constellations are not technical pictures by their arrangement, they are word pictures via the names of the stars in the group. Abraham was given this knowledge as he read the names of the stars; putting together a story of fallen beings subverting the adam and the promise of a seed from the boēthos which would have hatred towards the seed of the serpent and ultimately crush his head. The story of a redeemer who would have to die to free his bride, who would bring a ship to rescue the sheepfold, and then sit as King as the lion of Judah appears in the heavens. With many more details, Abraham taught this knowledge to the Egyptians, as well as others. Today, the basic meaning of star names has remained consistent over the course of time and despite translations through several different languages throughout history. Daniel was able to teach this knowledge to people who would later journey to find the Messiah. The accuracy of this knowledge has been lost and subverted into fairy tales in our day, but there was a time two thousand years ago when a thousand people ventured to Nazareth to find a child and give him gifts. That level of accuracy in reading the heavens is not in practice today. But it was in use when David wrote this.

Proverbs tells us that Yahweh created the Holy Spirit at the beginning of his ways before the ages, Proverbs 8:22-ff. The Holy Spirit was present when Yahweh created the inhabitable world. The Holy Spirit was beside and joined to Yahweh in this endeavor. Genesis tells us that in the beginning, the Elohim manufactured the earth, and the Holy Spirit brought forward over the waters, or superinduced the waters. The Elohim then continues to bring forth other aspects of creation. Then the Elohim forms the adam. Genesis 2:4 says that this is the book of the origin of heaven and earth. Yahweh Elohim then instructs the adam not to eat of the tree of ‘knowing good and evil’. We see a team effort in making Creation. The heavens set out in detail the renown of the Elohim. Paul now explains what happens to people who reject the Creator.

Romans 1:19 G1360 Because G3588 the thing G1110 made known G3588 G2316 of God G5318 is apparent G1510.2.3   G1722 among G1473 them; G3588   G1063 for G2316 God G1473 made it apparent to them. G5319

It is apparent that there is a creator. We live on a spinning ball, suspended in atmosphere among other spinning balls, and warmed by a large exploding sphere.

Romans 1:20 G3588 For G1063   G517 his unseen attributes G1473   G575 from G2937 the creation G2889 of the world G3588 to the G4161 actions G3539 being comprehended G2529 are looked at, G3588 both G5037   G126 his everlasting G1473   G1411 power G2532 and G2305 divinity, G1519 for G3588   G1510.1 them to be G1473   G379 inexcusable.

People should have understood the Creator’s invisible foundation of the cosmos, his workmanship should be comprehended and perceived as eternal power and divine nature and this is inexcusable when people who once knew Him as Creator rejected him.

Romans 1:21 G1360 Because G1097 having known G3588   G2316 God, G3756 [2not G5613 3as G2316 4God G1392 1they glorified him], G2228 or G2168 gave thanks; G235 but G3154 acted in folly G1722 in G3588   G1261 their thoughts, G1473   G2532 and G4654 [4was darkened G3588   G801 2senseless G1473 1their G2588 3heart].
  22 G5335 Maintaining G1510.1 to be G4680 wise, G3471 they became moronish;

They became perverted morons. They then made idols and claimed that they were the gods. Their minds’ became dark and their hearts became senseless. Paul is pointing out that they became this way, they were not created this way. David points out that Yahweh is known by infants, as we will see. This tells us the people that Paul is speaking of were influenced by the god of this world who has blinded the minds of his followers.

Romans 1:23 G2532 and G236 they bartered G3588 the G1391 glory G3588 of the G862 incorruptible G2316 God G1722 for G3667 a representation G1504 of an image G5349 of corruptible G444 man, G2532 and G4071 birds, G2532 and G5074 four-footed creatures, G2532 and G2062 reptiles.
  24 G1352 Therefore G2532 also G3860 [2delivered them up G1473   G3588   G2316 1God] G1722 in G3588 the G1939 desires G3588   G2588 of their hearts G1473   G1519 unto G167 uncleanness, G3588   G818 to dishonor G3588   G4983 their bodies G1473   G1722 among G1438 themselves;
  25 G3748 the ones who G3337 changed over G3588 the G225 truth G3588   G2316 of God G1722 in G3588 the G5579 lie, G2532 and G4573 worshiped G2532 and G3000 served G3588 to the G2937 created thing G3844 over G3588 the one G2936 having created it, G3739 who G1510.2.3 is G2128 blessed G1519 into G3588 the G165 eons. G281 Amen.

They worshipped created things instead of the one who created all things. Think of Darwinism in our time, there is technically no such thing as evolution, such as monkeys transforming/evolving into humans. We know this now because we have the technology of DNA.There is evolutionary adaptation of a species, meaning a species can adapt to weather, to food sources, or to damaged DNA (reproducing a mutation), making the species capable of survival otherwise it would become extinct. Yet we still have textbooks claiming evolution is fact. Creation speaks out. We have a Creator. The heavens tell our story. Solomon explains this as well.

Wisdom of Solomon 13:1-5 (KJVApocrypha)
1  Surely vain are all men by nature, who are ignorant of God, and could not out of the good things that are seen know him that is: neither by considering the works did they acknowledge the workmaster;
2  But deemed either fire, or wind, or the swift air, or the circle of the stars, or the violent water, or the lights of heaven, to be the gods which govern the world.
3  With whose beauty if they being delighted took them to be gods; let them know how much better the Lord of them is: for the first author of beauty hath created them.
4  But if they were astonished at their power and virtue, let them understand by them, how much mightier he is that made them.
5  For by the greatness and beauty of the creatures proportionably the maker of them is seen.

The foundation reports the fabrication of the hands of the Elohim. The foundation is generally translated “firmament” which is not quite the point. It is not the arch of the sky, but the firm steady constancy of this solid body. The Earth doesn’t leave its own orbit. The sun comes up, the sun goes down, the darkness reveals the stars, the sunlight brings warmth. The stability of the things created is the idea here. The earth does not revolve around the sun in such a way that it changes course when it wants to. It is stable and established. The foundation is stable. This in and of itself announces the manufacturing of the earth, the planets, the solar system, and the universe, as to the hands of the Elohim.

Psalms 19:2 G2250 Day G3588 to G2250 day G2044 bubbles up G4487 a saying; G2532 and G3571 night unto G3571 night G312 announces G1108 knowledge.

3) to pour forth words, to speak out, utter

ἐρεύγομαι
ereugomai er-yoog'-om-ahee Of uncertain affinity; to belch, that is, (figuratively) to speak out
KJV Usage: utter.

Vines[ 2,,G2044, ereugomai
primarily, "to spit or spue out," or, of oxen, "to bellow, roar," hence, "to speak aloud, utter," occurs in Matthew 13:35. This affords an example of the tendency for certain words to become softened in force in late Greek

ῥῆμα
rhēma hray'-mah From G4483; an utterance (individually, collectively or specifically); by implication a matter or topic (especially of narration, command or dispute); with a negative naught whatever KJV Usage: + evil, + nothing, saying, word.

“Day the day belch forth/spew things spoken and night night time report knowledge.”

Every day, day after day the heavens spew rhēma. Everything that the Elohim did in Genesis 1, in bringing forth the earth and its adornments, was done by spewing spoken words. It is hardly reasonable to look around during the day and not see the beauty of the Elohim’s creation, even if the creation is in slavery. At night the heavens report knowledge, the story that we are living through.

As Paul explained in Romans, people have not observed the creation which has made them moronic. The Creator is a life giver. We see this throughout creation, living beings, living plants, living humans. Humans are also life givers having the ability to procreate which the other sons of God do not have. Female angels did not give birth to part angel and part human beings, human females gave birth to hybrid beings. In this creation females are life givers, which is why the devil works overtime to kill the seed of the women. He wants his seed to rise and dominate, putting humans and creation into subjection under him.

Psalms 19:3 G3756 There are no G1510.2.6   G2981 speeches G3761 nor G3056 words G3739 which G3780 [2are not G191 3heard G3588   G5456 1their voices]. G1473

“Are not speech neither word that not indeed hear your sound.”

The day and the night speak words and talk to us. It is obvious. We have the word rhēma, in verse 2, and here in verse 3 we have lalia “speech”, and logos “words”. David seems to be telling us to listen, but not just with our ears. The heavens declare, so we have to look at them and listen to them day and night. We understand this if we go camping in the wilderness, not in a campground because you need distance from man-made light sources. When we are outside, the majesty of the heavens is quite loud. Everyone, all over the planet, can hear the sound of the heaven. It is as if Yahweh can speak into our heart without audible sounds if we sit quietly under a starry sky or in the daylight observing the creation of the Elohim.

We understand vibrations and vibratory patterns. There are sounds that produce light and life and sounds that produce death and destruction. We know that the ancient monks used to sing/chant in solfeggio keys which were dynamically healing, but Pope Gregory declared that they had to change the base frequency (hertz) that they were to sing in because it was too wonderful for the ears of man. No matter, nature still sings in the keys of love, 528 hertz. Humans lost this knowledge for many centuries but in our modern times some people have been able to bring this knowledge to light, even determining the key that David played in, 444 hz. Just as Masaru Emoto discovered the effect that words and tones have on water crystals in a concrete way that we can see with our eyes, there is rhēma, lalia, and logos, being reported throughout the heavens and earth and we have to learn to hear it.

Psalms 19:4 G1519 Into G3956 all G3588 the G1093 earth G1831 went forth G3588   G5353 their knell; G1473   G2532 and G1519 unto G3588 the G4009 ends G3588 of the G3611 inhabitable world G3588   G4487 their words. 5346 LSJ Gloss:φημί to declare, make known
Dodson:φημί I say I say, declare.
Thayer:
1) to make known one's thoughts, to declare
2) to say

φημί
phēmi fay-mee' Properly the same as the base of G5457 and G5316; to show or make known one’s thoughts, that is, speak or say KJV Usage: affirm, say.

“Into all earth come out your distinct sound and into the extremity occupy your (rhēma) things spoken. In the sun set your dwelling.”

The word phthoggos can be a musical sound. David is saying that there is a rhythm to this rhēma. There are melodies and harmonies. There are leads and accompaniments. This sound, the one we don’t hear with our ears but our heart, goes out into the extremities of the universe and indwell rhēma. The phthoggos indwells rhēma to the utter most part of the universe. Phthoggos comes from phtheggomai, a compound word pheggos and phēmi. It is the light that speaks.

“Light itself does not make any sound but it can be converted to material vibration through being absorbed by matter. So if a molecule floating in the air absorbed a photon and started to move it would be producing a vibration by bumping into other molecules.”

“When light pulse interacts with matter, it can make sound, so yes, light hitting matter can produce sound. The signal is robust, an undergraduate can perform this lab activity, with a laser and microphone, FFT, called photoacoustic spectroscopy. There is also a loud, ionized air-crack, when a YAG laser pulse is focussed in air. The frequencies within that sound are resonances in nitrogen-oxygen bonds breaking.”

Light has a frequency that enters matter, all matter is affected by light. What David is saying is that light speaks. Light indwells rhēma. The rhēma spoken to us is spoken in light. David was not a sun worshipper, he knew the hidden Son. What David is saying is that the sun alone speaks to humans, all over the earth. The good news is the intelligent design that speaks though light. Isaiah said that the people did not listen to the good news the prophets had. Paul says their belief is from spoken audible words and the report is through the rhēma of Elohim.

Romans 10:16 G235 But G3756 not G3956 all G5219 hearkened G3588 to the G2098 good news; G* for Isaiah G1063   G3004 says, G2962 O Lord, G5100 who G4100 trusted G3588   G189 our report? G1473
  17 G686 So G3588 the G4102 belief G1537 is from G189 report, G3588 and the G1161   G189 report G1223 through G4487 the word G2316 of God.
  18 G235 But G3004 I say, G3378 Did they not G191 hear? G3304 Certainly, G1519 for G3956 [3 unto all G3588 4the G1093 5earth G1831 2went forth G3588   G5353 1their knell], G1473   G2532 and G1519 [2 went unto G3588 3the G4009 4ends G3588 5of the G3611 6habitable world G3588   G4487 1their words]. G1473

Paul quotes David and then asks why Israel didn’t understand the good news was to go out to the nations, ethnos. The heavens aren’t closed so that non Jews can’t see them. The heavens are open, the day shows the majesty of a Creator. Anyone can look at a created thing and worship it, but as Solomon and Paul point out, why not worship the one who created the created thing.

The last statement should connect to the next sentence.

Psams 19:5 G2532 And G1473 he, G5613 as G3566 a groom G1607 going forth G1537 from out of G3956.3 his nuptial chamber, G1473   G21 shall exult G5613 as G1095.2 a giant G5143 running G3598 a journey.

“And you like as nymph, proceed from out past it, rejoice exceedingly like as giant run road.”

The first thing we want to look at is the words for bride and groom. G3565 is numphe nymph, G3566 is numphios. These words have an odd connotation to us, but we can understand them as we are speaking of young people who are dressed beautifully and naturally for a wedding. The idea of a nymph is a beautiful mythological being inhabiting the woods. We might think of J.R.R.Tolkin’s idea of Rivendell and the elves that lived there, in harmony with their surroundings. We might imagine a wedding that would take place in a forest and what the bride and groom would look like. There is a harmony with creation among the numphe and numphios. This is the idea that David is presenting.

The distortion in our time is in the word nymphomaniac, a hyper-sexual person, which probably derived from young married people. In the first century, in the Biblical culture, newlyweds did not receive invitations for two years. One can then surmise the rest.

The word translators used for nuptial chamber is not quite correct. There are several ideas here, and it is somewhat clear that someone altered the text to present a bridegroom coming out of a honeymoon suite. This idea has to connect to the previous sentence. The sun is His dwelling.

"You set dwelling in the sun and you like as nymph, proceed from out past it, rejoice exceedingly like as giant run road.”

Yahweh set his dwelling in the sun, then like a young man getting married, he proceeds out past the sun. He is grand like a giant running down a road. It is a wedding procession, not a honeymoon procession. The groom comes out to gather the bride in grand fashion for the wedding. The idea that the groom comes out of a nuptial chamber is backward. The groom does not exit the honeymoon suite and run down the road like a champion. David saw many giants running. His description of Yahweh here is that he is bigger than man, living in the sun but passing by the sun, coming for his bride in splendor.

Justin Martyr translates this verse in this manner: In the sun, it was the backdrop for it, (6) and as a bridegroom! flowing through it, it is boasted as a giant already operating.

This is quite poetic and brings a sense of Yahweh living behind the sun. Brenton’s Greek has a different approach to this verse.

Psalm 19:5 And the bridegroom who was pasting it, was made to act as a giant there.https://studybible.info/Brenton_Greek/Psalms%2019

The word pasting is not only used like as glue, but can also mean “a beating” or “being severely beaten”. In this idea Yahweh has been making noise and the sun shone upon the bridegroom who defeated the sun like a giant running on a road. The sun could not continue to hide the groom, he pasted it and came for the bride. The next sentence explains Yahweh’s journey.

Psalms 19:6 G575 From G206.1 one tip G3588   G3772 of heaven G3588 is G1841 his exiting, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G2658.1 his arrival G1473   G2193 unto G206.1 the other tip G3588   G3772 of heaven; G2532 and G3756 there is not G1510.2.3   G3739 one who G613 shall be concealed G3588   G2329 from his heat. G1473

“From end the heaven your departure and your downward arrival until end the heaven and is not that kept hidden from your heat.”

Just as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, and we feel the heat all day long, Yahweh moves through the heavens, from one end to the other, and we can feel his presence. The ones who receive Yahweh enjoy the feel of his presence. The ones who reject Yahweh bristle at his presence. No one is hidden from Him. He makes a downward arrival. When? The groom is coming for his bride. He is courting his bride now. We have several examples of this, including walking and talking to Abraham as a friend, showing Moses the backside of His glory, and walking throughout Israel healing people and bringing the good news. He made a downward arrival, but will not return to earth again until the end of the tribulation when he comes with his armies to establish His millennial kingdom. At that time the groom comes with his bride.

If we read this Psalm carnally, without spiritual understanding, we might think that David is taking a right turn away from the pleasantness of nature and the creation, but he is not. He now starts to explain that all the words and all the vibrations that bring harmony should draw people to Him and a knowledge of Him which can be felt.

Psalms 19:7 G3588 The G3551 law G3588 of the G2962 lord G299 is unblemished, G1994 turning G5590 souls. G3588 The G3141 witness G2962 of the lord G4103 is trustworthy, G4679 making wise G3516 the infants.

“The ordinance the Yahweh without blame turn around souls.
The testimony Yahweh faithful instruct not yet speaking.”

The ordinances of Yahweh are what holds this earth in place, spinning and revolving. The ordinances of sunrise and sunset, summer and winter, are without blame, they are faultless. This precision and regularity turns souls from death to life. The testimony written all over creation shows Yahweh’s faithfulness and teaches infants and toddlers.

Children see the creation in a spiritual way, while adults have been talked out of the spiritual realm. Humans are life-givers, and the only sons of God to procreate, which is a spiritual attribute that only humans have. Angels don’t birth baby angels, nor does the devil birth baby devils; nor do cherubim, seraphim, or ophanim birth babies of their race either. David is inviting us to understand the universe with spiritual eyes. For those who still reject Yahweh, they end up as morons, as Paul told us.

Psalms 19:8 G3588 The G1345 ordinances G2962 of the lord G2117 are straight, G2165 making glad G2588 the heart. G3588 The G1785 commandment G2962 of the lord G5080.2 is radiant, G5461 giving light G3788 to the eyes.

“The statute Yahweh straight cheer heart.
The injunction Yahweh at dawn illuminate the eye”

The established statutes that Yahweh set up make our hearts cheerful. Even if there are clouds overhead, the sun still rises and sets, whether we see it or not. There will always be a vernal equinox, there will always be a winter solstice, even if we forget about them. Yahweh’s judicial orders are like the dawn, they enlighten our eyes.

The devil may be the god of this world, but he cannot subvert the statutes and injunctions that the Elohim have set in place. The devil cannot alter one day to be 20 hours long and another day to be 27 hours. He cannot stop the sun or turn the sundial back ten degrees. He cannot make the earth stop spinning. He cannot make the earth stop revolving around the sun. The prince of this world cannot change the established and fixed order of the constellations and planets. Neither can he alter gravity. There are immutable things that the devil and the fallen angels cannot change. With that said, they do have some power upon judicial verdict, to conjure a storm. We seem to fixate on a storm and claim that the Elohim who created the universe is “punishing” us. That is simply not true. The accuser is the one advocating for our harm.

Psalms 19:9 G3588 The G5401 fear G2962 of the lord G53 is pure, G1265 abiding G1519 into G165 the eon G165 of the eon. G3588 The G2917 judgments G2962 of the lord G228 are true, G1344 doing justice G1909 to G3588 the G1473 same;

“The phobos terror Yahweh full of religious awe remains into age perpetuity.
The verdicts Yahweh agreeable to truth make righteous on me.”

When we recognize that the immovable and established laws of the universe are fixed, we gain fear and awe of Yahweh. We then develop religious awe and reverence. We start to understand the sacred and pure Lord who is from age to age, perpetually, and in perpetuity; over and over, lasting forever.

Psalms 19:10 G1938.1 desirable G5228 above G5553 gold, G2532 and G3037 [3stone G5093 2precious G4183 1much], G2532 and G1099 sweeter G5228 above G3192 honey G2532 and G2781 the honeycomb.

“Desirably over a piece of gold, and stone valued much, and sweet over honey and honeycomb.”

The spiritual recognition of Yahweh and the masterful works of the Elohim become desirable. We start to hunger for more knowledge. We will give all that we have for more of his words.

Psalms 19:11 G2532 For also G1063   G3588   G1401 your servant G1473 G5442 guards G1473 them; G1722 in G3588 the G5442 guarding G1473 of them G469 [2reward G4183 1 there is great].

“And for the your male slave you keep watch and ward in me keep watch and ward giving back in turn much”

David now points to himself as a male slave or a bondservant. David declares Yahweh keep watch and ward over him and repay David for his service. We may not be used to asking for payment or repayment for service to Yahweh, but David seems rather comfortable bringing it up. Let's think about what David was asking for. Was it money, riches, fame? No. David was really asking for more of Yahweh.

Psalms 19:12 G3900 [3 his transgressions G5100 1Who G4920 2shall perceive]? G1537 From out of G3588   G2931.1 my private transgressions G1473   G2511 cleanse G1473 me!

“False step any one consider from out of hidden you make me clean.”

David realizes that Yahweh knows his sins. He asks to be cleansed from his hidden sins and made clean. We can ask for the blood of Jesus to cleanse our sins.

Psalms 19:13 G2532 And G575 from G245 the aliens G5339 spare G3588 G1401 your servant! G1473   G1437 If G3361 they should not G1473 dominate me, G2634   G5119 then G299 I will be unblemished, G1510.8.1   G2532 and G2511 I shall be cleansed G575 of G266 [2sin G3173 1great].

“And away from another spare your male slave if haply I not gain dominion over at that time, without blame I will be and make clean away from sin great.”

David asks to be spared from other people, other people in Israel, not simply other nations. There were plenty of Israelites who did not like David. David asks to be spared from these others if he does not gain dominion over them. He understands that there is a possibility he would not be victorious on his own. However, he will be blameless and cleansed away from sin.

Psalms 19:14 G2532 And G1510.8.6 [4will be G1519 5for G2107 6benevolence G3588 1the G3051 2oracles G3588   G4750 3of my mouth], G1473   G2532 and G3588 the G3191.1 meditation G3588   G2588 of my heart G1473   G1799 before G1473 you G1275 always, G2962 O lord, G998 my helper G1473   G2532 and G3086 the one ransoming G1473 me.

“And I will be into satisfaction the announcement my speech and the study (revolve in the mind) my heart, before the face of you. Throughout all time Yahweh, my helper and my redeemer.”

David says that he will speak with his mouth for good thinking, and study with his heart before the face of Yahweh. Forever Yahweh is our helper and redeemer. David will speak to Yahweh about Yahweh bringing good will and favor. He says that he will study, meditate, revolve in his mind, and in the thoughts of his heart, in Yahweh’s presence. How do we do this? We have to have quiet time, away from the noise of the world and the craziness of the devil’s world. We cannot have time in His presence for study that is interrupted by the world.

If we lived in David’s time, we simply would go out into the night and read the stars, and the planets. We would go into the fields and notice the creation. Day to day and night to night, the creation has something to say. It is not only for the Jew, but for the nations as well. The day spews rhēma, the night announces knowledge. There isn’t any place on the earth where their voice is not heard. It is up to us to understand his language in our heart. Some worship the things created. We will all be accountable for worshiping the Creator. Recognizing the limitations of the devil’s ability, why wouldn’t we worship the Creator of the universe who comes for us as a groom, pushing aside the sun to come for his bride.
