Eternal Priesthood; Shem’s Order; Inferior Priesthood; 46 Years of Jacob’s Service

When we see glimpses of the kingdom of heaven which is inside the kingdom of the Elohim, we recognize that it is a very special place, where there is no rebellion or evil. It is the place where the Almighty Father dwells. But we are on the earth and because of the sins of Satanas, the sins of the angels, the sins of the adam, and the continued sins of men, we are living in a chaotic world, with Christians trying to live ‘as it is in heaven’. Yet we have a royal priesthood. The original eternal priesthood of Shem/Melchizedek is available to anyone who wants to minister to the Elohim. A temporary inferior priesthood was instituted in the wilderness when the children of Jacob worshipped a golden calf idol, made by Aaron. The levitical order is based on laws, but cannot give its adherents eternal life. Our Messiah came to earth as a Melchizedek priest. He is a priest from the order, or arrangement, of Melchizedek/Shem. Today we can live connected to Yahweh Elohim as Shem/Melchizedek taught. Jesus Messiah leads us to eternal life, and we are made kingly priests. We are a new nation that does not have one land mass to live on but we live over all land masses. Let’s explore.

After the flood, and after Babel, Shem and his sons moved out to establish cities. We never talk much about Shem’s descendants but they were important as they continued in the ways of Yahweh Elohim in their respective cities. Their cities are historically important to our understanding and we must keep their age in perspective.

Jasher 10:30 Some of the children of Shem, son of Noah, father of all the children of Eber, also went and built themselves cities in the places wherein they were scattered, and they called their cities after their names. 31 The sons of Shem were Elam, Ashur, Arpachshad, Lud and Aram, and they built themselves cities and called the names of all their cities after their names. 32 Ashur, son of Shem, and his children and household went forth at that time, a very large body of them, and they went to a distant land that they found; they met with a very extensive valley in the land that they went to, and they built themselves four cities, and they called them after their own names and occurrences. 33 And these are the names of the cities which the children of Ashur built: Ninevah, Resen, Calach and Rehobother; the children of Ashur dwell there to this day. 34 The children of Aram also went and built themselves a city, and they called the name of the city Uz after their eldest brother; they dwell therein.  That is the land of Uz to this day. 35 And in the second year after the tower a man from the house of Ashur, whose name was Bela, went from the land of Ninevah to sojourn with his household wherever he could find a place; they came until opposite the cities of the plain against Sodom, and they lived there. 36 And the man rose up and built there a small city, and called its name Bela, after his name; that is the land of Zoar to this day. 37 These are the families of the children of Shem according to their language and cities, after they were scattered on the earth after the tower. 38 And every kingdom, city, and family of the families of the children of Noah built themselves many cities after this. 39 And they established governments in all their cities in order to be regulated by their orders; so did all the families of the children of Noah forever.

Ninevah is interesting as many thousands of years later they repented when Jonah was sent by Yahweh. Uz of Edom is where Job lived. Zoar is where Lot and his daughters escaped to. We see that the descendants of Shem were Assyrians which is the nation that let the Israelites return to Judah under Cyrus.

Shem’s purpose was clear, he was establishing a school in Jerusalem.  To understand Shem, he was called by two other names, Adoni-Zedek (Lord of the Zedeks), or Melech-Zedek (Melech Valley of priests) or Melchisedec/Melchisedek/Melchizedek (righteous king priest). Don’t confuse Adonizedek from the time of Joshua with Shem/Adonizedek. The age is quite different.

Jasher 16:11 And Adonizedek king of Jerusalem, the same was Shem, went out with his men to meet Abram and his people, with bread and wine, and they remained together in the valley of Melech. 12 Adonizedek blessed Abram, and Abram gave him a tenth from all that he had brought from the spoil of his enemies, for Adonizedek was a priest before God.

Lumpkin, Joseph. Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher: Banned from the Bible (p. 205). (Function). Kindle Edition.

Gen 14:18  And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

Antiquities of the Jews 1:10:2 Now the king of Sodom met him at a certain place, which they called The King’s Dale, (180) where Melchizedek, king of the city Salem, received him. That name signifies the righteous king; and such he was without dispute, insomuch that, on this account, he was made the priest of God: however, they afterward called Salem Jerusalem. (181) Now this Melchizedek supplied Abram’s army in an hospitable manner, and gave them provisions in abundance; and as they were feasting he began to praise him, and to bless God for subduing his enemies under him. And when Abram gave him the tenth part of his prey, he accepted of the gift:

Flavius Josephus and William Whiston, The Works of Josephus: Complete and Unabridged (Peabody: Hendrickson, 1987), 39.

Shem/Melchizedek was the king of Jerusalem. He was the first one to be a king in Jerusalem. Shem/Melchizedek was a righteous king and a priest of the Elohim. The order of the Zedek/Zadok priesthood stems from Shem/Melchizedek, Lord of the Priests. The Zadok/Zedek priesthood is still in existence and it is the priests of Zadok/Zedek who will minister in the millennium.

Wars of the Jews 6:10:1. (435) And thus was Jerusalem taken, in the second year of the reign of Vespasian, on the eighth day of the month Gorpieus [Elul]. It had been taken five times before, though this was the second time of its desolation; (436) for Shishak, the king of Egypt, and after him Antiochus, and after him Pompey, and after them Sossius and Herod took the city, but still preserved it; (437) but before all these, the king of Babylon conquered it and made it desolate, one thousand four hundred and sixty-eight years and six months after it was built. (438) But he who first built it was a potent man among the Canaanites, and is on our tongue called [Melchisedek], the Righteous King, for such he really was; on which account he was [there] the first priest of God, and first built a temple [there], and called the city Jerusalem, which was formerly called Salem.

Flavius Josephus and William Whiston, The Works of Josephus: Complete and Unabridged (Peabody: Hendrickson, 1987), 750.

The first one to build the city of Salem/Jerusalem was Shem/Melchizedek the Righteous King and Lord of the Priests. He built a temple in Jerusalem, not the same temple Solomon built but a temple nonetheless. This is why David wanted a temple to be built in Jerusalem. David merged the priesthood of the Levites and Zadok for tabernacle and future temple service when the tabernacle was at Gibeon. Isaac is going to learn priestly service from Shem.

Jasher 23:4 Abraham came into the tent, and he sat before Sarah his wife, and he spoke these words to her, 5 My son Isaac is grown up and he has not for some time studied the service of his God; tomorrow I will go and bring him to Shem, and Eber his son, and there he will learn the ways of the Lord.  For they will teach him to know the Lord as well as to know that when he prays continually before the Lord, he will answer him;  there he will know the way of serving the Lord his God.

Lumpkin, Joseph. Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher: Banned from the Bible (p. 217). (Function). Kindle Edition.

Abraham sent Isaac to learn from Shem and Eber and Isaac sent Jacob to learn from Shem and Eber. This priestly order is higher than Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, because it originated with Shem, son of Noah, after the flood. Now it is not that Melchizedek was an unknown kingly priest, he was well known. It is not that he did not have a mother or father, instead it means his heritage and lineage is irrelevant. Anyone can choose to be a priest in Melchizedek’s order. He is an eternal priest and his order is an eternal priesthood. This is the kingly priesthood of Jesus Messiah, and it is the kingly priesthood we are called to. This order is what we will be ministering under during the millennial reign of Jesus Messiah.

Now let’s look at Jacob’s dedication to the Melchizedek priesthood.

Jasher 28:16 When the days of the famine had passed away the Lord appeared to Isaac and said to him, Rise up, go forth from this place and return to your land, to the land of Canaan; Isaac rose up and returned to Hebron which is in the land of Canaan, he and all belonging to him as the Lord commanded him. 17 Ater this Shelach the son at Arpachshad died in that year, which is the eighteenth year of the lives of Jacob and Esau; all the days that Shelach lived were four hundred and thirty-three years and he died. 18 At that time Isaac sent his younger son Jacob to the house of Shem and Eber, and he learned the instructions of the Lord; Jacob remained in the house of Shem and Eber for thirty-two years; Esau his brother did not go for he was not willing to go, and he remained in his father's house in the land of Canaan. 19 Esau was continually hunting in the fields to bring home what he could get, so did Esau all the days.

Lumpkin, Joseph. Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher: Banned from the Bible (p. 227). (Function). Kindle Edition.

Jacob was 18 when he went to Shem and Eber’s school, then he left at 50 years old.

Jasher 28:24 It came to pass in those days, in the hundred and tenth year of the life of Isaac, that is in the fiftieth year of the life of Jacob, in that year Shem the son of Noah died; Shem was six hundred years old at his death. 25 And when Shem died Jacob returned to his father to Hebron which is in the land of Canaan.

Lumpkin, Joseph. Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher: Banned from the Bible (p. 228). (Function). Kindle Edition.

Shem died at 600 years old when Jacob was 50. Jacob then spends thirteen years with his family.

Jasher 28:26 And in the fifty-sixth year of the life of Jacob, people came from Haran, and Rebecca was told concerning her brother Laban the son of Bethuel. 27 The wife of Laban was unable to conceive in those days, and gave birth to no children, and also all his handmaids gave birth to none, to him. 28 And the Lord afterward remembered Adinah the wife of Laban, and she conceived and gave birth to twin daughters, and Laban named his daughters:  the name of the elder Leah, and the name of the younger Rachel. 29 And those people came and told these things to Rebecca, and Rebecca rejoiced greatly that the Lord had visited her brother and that he had gotten children.

Lumpkin, Joseph. Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher: Banned from the Bible (p. 228). (Function). Kindle Edition.

We usually think of Leah being years older but she was only minutes older than Rachel. This is why it was easy for Jacob not to recognize it was Leah he was married to. They were fraternal twins just like Jacob and Esau were.

Jasher 29:11 And Jacob was very much afraid of his brother Esau; he rose up and fled to the house of Eber the son of Shem, and he concealed himself there on account of his brother.  Jacob was sixty-three years old when he went forth from the land of Canaan from Hebron, and Jacob was concealed in Eber's house fourteen years on account of his brother Esau, and he continued there to learn the ways of the Lord and his commandments.

Lumpkin, Joseph. Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher: Banned from the Bible (p. 228). (Function). Kindle Edition.

When Jacob was 63, he goes back to Eber’s school for fourteen years.

Jasher 29:18 Ishmael the son of Abraham died in those days, in the sixty-fourth year of the life of Jacob, and all the days that Ishmael lived were one hundred and thirty-seven years and he died. 19 And when Isaac heard that Ishmael was dead he mourned for him, and Isaac lamented over him many days. 20 At the end of fourteen years of Jacob's residing in the house of Eber, Jacob desired to see his father and mother, and Jacob came to the house of his father and mother to Hebron, and Esau had in those days forgotten what Jacob had done to him in having taken the blessing from him.

Lumpkin, Joseph. Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher: Banned from the Bible (p. 229). (Function). Kindle Edition.

Isaac gave Jacob many gifts. This tells us that Isaac was not mad at Jacob, he blessed him.

Jasher 29:30 And Isaac finished commanding Jacob and blessing him, and he gave him many gifts, together with silver and gold, and he sent him away. Jacob listened to his father and mother; he kissed them and arose and went to Padan-aram, and Jacob was seventy-seven years old when he went out from the land of Canaan from Beersheba.

Lumpkin, Joseph. Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher: Banned from the Bible (p. 229). (Function). Kindle Edition.

Jacob leaves for Labans house when he is seventy seven years old. and Leah and Rachel are twenty one years old. In total Jacob spent 46 years in service to Yahweh Elohim. This is what is meant by the phrase that Jacob was a dweller in tents, the tents of the Lord. Because of Jacobs dedication and his willingness to cloister himself in the school of Shem/Melchizedek the offer was made for his heirs, after four hundred years in captivity to be brought to Canaan and made a royal priesthood in the land deeded to Shem.

If we look at Jacob’s age comparatively to today, we are usually retired and slowing down at age seventy seven. Jacob was just starting his life meeting his two brides. At 84 Jacob marries Leah, and at 91 he marries Rachel. Jacob dies 56 years later at 147 years old.

What would it have looked like for the entire nation to be priests, men, women, and children, in service to Yahweh? The entire nation would have lived as holy people. They would have no sin among them. If they had trusted Yahweh, they would have entered the land and been set apart from the other nations. They would not have mingled, they would have been a cloistered nation. As long as they would continue in service to Yahweh Elohim they would have been protected, honored, and treasured. They would have been noticed by the other nations but no other nation would have been able to overcome them. They would have served the Lord and ministered to him without respect to the outside world. They would not have suffered hardships or curses, they would not have been dispersed several times. They would have remained one whole nation instead of being captive to the Philistines, and later split and overcome by the Assyrians and Babylonians. They would not have gone out in ships and been made slaves. The Holy Spirit would have dwelt among the people. There would be prophets that would speak from Yahweh and no one would kill them for speaking truth. The people would have lived in peace and safety. They would have all had a direct line of contact to Yahweh Elohim who walked with the adam in the early evenings. Satanas would have been on the outside of the land, not inside the land. Utopia would have been achieved, and the nation would have been an example of righteousness and holiness for the other nations. They would have been teachers to the other nations. There would not have been one tribe or priesthood but all people would be priests and all people would minister to Him.

The offer was made at Sinai and they initially agreed. They were even promised entrance into Canaan. But as Moses was receiving the commands on tablets the people worshipped a golden calf. They broke the first command almost immediately. If this was not bad enough, when they were to enter Canaan, they chose not to trust Yahweh Elohim. After experiencing all the miracles coming out of Egypt they didn’t trust their Lord. They were simply not ready to become an entire nation dedicated to serving Yahweh Elohim.

The goal from Israel is to somehow get back to the promise that was originally made to their ancestors and appropriate it for themselves. This is not possible. Likewise, all people seem to strive for paradise, utopia, Shangri-la, or heaven on earth. This too is impossible. The earth is predominately unrighteous and unsaved. Out of eight billion people, only about 32% are Christians on the earth today. We cannot achieve utopia, paradise, Shangri-la or heaven, on earth with such a low percentage. In the days of Jared we saw that the people from Seth’s line cloistered themselves on a mountain range while the sons of Cain were in the valley below. The sons of Cain continually enticed the sons of Seth to leave the mountain.

Since the nation of Israel rejected the promises from Yahweh Elohim, the promise of the priesthood was later made to anyone from any nation or tribe that wanted to serve Yahweh Elohim. People do not need to be Jews, but instead are priests under Shem/Melchizedek’s order. These people then become a new nation, one which was not borne of locality but borne out of a righteous heart. While there is not one specific place on the earth for the royal priests to serve Yahweh, the priesthood is scattered all over the earth. This is a benefit to the unbelieving people of the world, so that they see the individuals who are kingly priests and can learn from them.

Heb 5:5  So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.

Heb 5:6  As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Heb 5:7  Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

Heb 5:8  Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Heb 5:9  And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

Heb 5:10  Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

Jesus Messiah became a high priest under Shem’s order. Shem was the original 'Lord of the Priests’. No one needed the Levitical priesthood any longer as Jesus is a higher priest than the Levites. The Israelites keep going back to a lesser priesthood and attempting to appropriate the promise of kingly priests. They are attempting to erase the Melchizedek/Shem priesthood and make their own way to becoming priests. The Melchizedek priesthood is eternal. The Levitical order is over.

Heb 6:19  Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

Heb 6:20  Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Heb 7:1  For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;

Heb 7:2  To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;

Heb 7:3  Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

Shem is still a priest. His lineage was not important to his priesthood. Noah was not a kingly priest. People did not need to be Shem-ites to be a priest, a Zedek/Zadok. Shem’s priesthood was the beginning of a sacred order. This was Yahweh’s desire for the heirs of Jacob coming out of Egypt. This is what Yahweh wanted them to do, take up the mantel of Shem. But because they made an idol and worshipped it, Yahweh knew they would not be of the Melchizedek priesthood.

Heb 7:11  If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

Moses was so angry when he came down the mountain and broke the tablets that he yelled out ‘who is on Yahweh’s side’. The sons of Levi said they were with Moses, and they became the priests to the nation. Aaron, who was a Levite, made the stupid golden calf. For some reason he was enticed to make the idol. Three thousand men were killed by the tribe of Levi that day.

Exo 32:26  Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD'S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

Exo 32:27  And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.

Exo 32:28  And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.

This is why the priesthood changed. It was not supposed to just be the tribe of Levi who were priests, it was supposed to be everyone. The Levitical priesthood was a lesser priesthood. They were never kingly priests. They didn’t stay pure either. The Zedek priests were heirs of Shem’s schooling and David merged the Zedek/Zadok priests in tabernacle worship. The Zedek/Zadok priests stayed pure and as Ezekiel tells us they will minister in the millennial temple. The Levites will be outside the temple in a school for learning. From Ezekiel’s prophecy alone we see whose priesthood is sanctified and whose is not.

Now the writer of Hebrews says that Jesus sprang out of Juda which was not a priestly tribe. That is true, but it is also true that all of Jacob’s heirs should have been priests in the order of Melchizedek/Shem, but instead they sang and danced around an idol.

Heb 7:14  For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

Heb 7:15  And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,

Heb 7:16  Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

Heb 7:17  For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Shem obtained eternal life. Shem’s priesthood is eternal. Another priest rose up, Jesus Messiah. How did Jesus rise up to learn to be a priest in Melchizedek’s order? Jesus was a Nazarene Essene, from the Assideans who were of the Zedek/Zadok priests and prophets. Their schooling endured through the captivities and was preserved by the devout Assideans. Jesus and his cousin John were both schooled in the order of Shem.

Heb 7:18  For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.

Heb 7:19  For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

Heb 7:20  And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:

Heb 7:21  (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)

Heb 7:22  By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.

The law does not make people holy. The people under the law did not become kingly priests, they missed their chance when they made the golden calf. The thing Yahweh Elohim did was make enough restrictions that if they followed them they would be set apart, but very few people adhered to the laws. Most simply lived their lives with little regard for the law. The Melchizedek priesthood is not based on heredity or lineage, or the land mass where people live. It is based on relationship with Yahweh Elohim. Shem’s priesthood was not based on laws but on people’s own desires to worship and serve.

David wrote a prophecy regarding Messiah Jesus as a priest from Melchizedek.  David understood the importance of a coming Messiah who would be a king priest from Shem’s order. There is a masoretic alteration in verse one of Psalm 110. The Masoretes changed the word Yahweh to Adoni

Psalms 110:0 G5568 A psalm G3588 to G* David.

“Sacred Ode the David.”

This sacred ode is a prophecy of a conversation between two Lords or rulers. From context we can see the aspects of one of those rulers being our Messiah. The other Lord is a higher being, we would determine as the Father. David is privy to this conversation. Because it is a conversation between two other people we see the pronoun usage reflect that with “you” instead of “I” and “your” instead of “my”

Psalms 110:1 G2036 [3said G3588 1The G2962 2 lord] G3588 to G2962 my Lord, G1473   G2521 Sit down G1537 at G1188 my right hand G1473   G2193 until G302 whenever G5087 I should make G3588   G2190 your enemies G1473   G5286 a footstool G3588   G4228 for your feet. G1473

“Say the Yahweh my Yahweh, be seated from out of on my right hand until soever I put your hateful under foot-rest your foot.”

Psalms 110:2 G4464 [4a rod G1411 5of power G1821 2shall send out G1473 3to you G2962 1 The lord] G1537 from out of G* Zion; G2532 and G2634 you dominate G1722 in G3319 the midst G3588   G2190 of your enemies! G1473

“Rod of miraculous power send away forth you the Lord from out of Zion and gain dominion over in the middle your haters.”

As we studied last week, Zion is the hill at Gibeon during David’s time, this being the original Zion. The returning Messiah will have a rod of power. He will rule with a rod of iron. John also prophesies of this.

Psalms 110:3 G3326 With G1473 you G3588 is the G746 sovereignty G1722 in G2250 the day G3588   G1411 of your power, G1473   G1722 with G3588 the G2987 brightness G3588   G39 of your holy ones

“You amid the beginning in day your miraculous power in the brilliancy your holiness.”

This should read:

“Rod of miraculous power send away forth you the Lord from out of Zion and gain dominion over in the middle your haters, you amid the beginning in day your miraculous power in the brilliancy your holiness.”

Jesus with his rod of power comes out of Zion and takes dominion over his enemies; and amid the beginning or first day of his power in the brilliancy of his holiness. Jesus comes with his armies, he annihilates the haters and imprisons the satan for one thousand years. He rules, arche, “first or beginning”, on the day of his own millennial kingdom in power and splendor in holiness.

Psalms 110:4 G3660 The lord swore by an oath, G2962   G2532 and G3756 shall not G3338 repent, saying, G1473 You are G2409 a priest G1519 unto G3588 the G165 eon G2596 according to G3588 the G5010 order G* of Melchisedek.

“Take an oath Yahweh and not change your mind, priest into cycle of time downwards the position Melchisedek.”

The Messiah will be a priest into the ages, and the position is a downward position into the Melchizedek order, meaning it is an ordination from above into a more perfect priesthood. When we talk about the Melchizedek priesthood, we want to remind ourselves that Melchizedek was Shem.

Psalms 110:5 G2962 The lord G1537 at G1188 your right hand G1473   G4917 fractured [2in pieces G1722 3in G2250 4 the day G3709 5of his anger G1473   G935 1kings].

“Yahweh from out of on your right hand, break in pieces in day your wrath, kings.”

When is the day of wrath? The day of wrath is during the tribulation. The saints are not part of the day of wrath, they are preparing for their return as the army.

Psalms 110:6 G2919 He shall judge G1722 among G3588 the G1484 nations; G4137 he shall fill up with G4430 corpses; G4917 he shall fracture in pieces G2776 heads G1909 upon G1093 the earth -- G4183 many.

“Judge in the nations make full carcass break in pieces the head on earth many.”

Psalms 110:7 G1537 [2from out of G5493 3 the rushing stream G1722 4in G3598 5 the way G4095 1He shall drink]; G1223 on account of G3778 this G5312 he shall raise up high G2776 a head.

“From out of winter torrent in path, drink through this to lift high the head.”

David’s last sentence is not about the Messiah drinking out of a stream. It is about the reader. You and I are to drink out of a winter torrent. The words “He shall” are a translators’ inference, not in the text. Sometimes we use the expression that something is like “drinking out of a fire hose”. A winter torrent is the spring snow melt. Drink from the rushing water through this prophecy to lift high the head. Who is the head? The cornerstone, the Messiah.

https://musingsofawinsomeheart.blogspot.com/2020/01/melchizedek-order-winter-torrent-of.html

We know it is one thing for Jesus to have enemies, and for people to erase Jesus from the written logos of the Elohim, but imagine people also erasing Shem/Melchizedek from the history of the priesthood. Imagine an entire nation opposing Shem/Melchizedek. Shem has enemies, the same enemies as Jesus Messiah. David knew a Messiah would come in the order of Melchizedek, and he knew the Levitical priesthood was not based on Shem/Melchizedek but on the law which people didn’t keep. The Levitical priesthood also became corrupt just as the people and the leaders worshipped idols in the wilderness, they also worshipped idols and practiced sexual rituals in the temple along with child sacrifice for over four hundred years. Today we are priests in the order of Melchizedek, after our Messiah and Lord, Jesus. Shem’s order is the greatest priesthood on earth and will continue into the ages. Some dismiss it or erase Shem’s order, to make their own way to the promises of Yahweh, yet they continue in inferior ways. If one wanted to worship like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, they should worship as they did, in the order of Shem. Our High Priest, Jesus Messiah will be a priest forever in Shem’s order. Drink from the flood of prophecy and lift up Jesus Messiah.
