Saved; Head Injuries; Delivered From Wrath; No Other Name

One day we will awake from our nightmare of living in a dystopian pre-apocalyptic world. It is a process we all have to face and make some decisions regarding. Do we ignore the truth and make friends with our captors or do we reject our kidnappers and pursue after our salvation? Jesus came to redeem us and he also came to save us. Those people living in dystopian slumber do not understand what it is that we might need saving from. Jesus knew and provided a remedy if we would confess Him and believe on Him. We are purchased for salvation, and eternal life. The non-believer does not realize that there is an eternal death awaiting them. The subject has been hidden or muddled so that non-believers do not realize they have one future. A savior came to redeem us, to justify us, to sanctify us, and to make us righteous, but also save us for eternal life. Save us all. Our evil overlords will never tell us the truth so we have to hunt, seek, and find what it is that we are saved from. We are saved from sins; we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Saved from the wrath to come; we are not appointed to, but are saved from the wrath of the Elohim. We are saved into eternal life. There is not just one book written on salvation or one book written about redemption or sanctification, the subject matter is scattered all throughout the Bible. Let’s dig it out.

While at times we are saved from physical harm, saved from sickness, saved from demons, those are temporal benefits of our salvation into eternal life. Healing is not our end goal in life, we are all appointed to die. Whether we are tormented by demons or injured, we should not be striving for those things. Instead we strive to make more people disciples under the name Yahweh Savior Jesus Messiah, because there is no other name for salvation or deliverance into eternal life. When people are close to death they realize that they have no control over what comes next. Why wait until near death to ask the question as to where people go when they die?

The only way to receive salvation is explained in Romans. Paul tells us plainly. There is no other way to be saved. There is only one savior and one way to salvation.

Romans 10:8 G235 But G5100 what G3004 does it say? G1451 [4near G1473 5you G3588 1The G4487 2word G1510.2.3 3is], G1722 in G3588   G4750 your mouth G1473   G2532 and G1722 in G3588   G2588 your heart; G1473   G5123 (that is to say G3588 the G4487 word G3588 of the G4102 belief G3739 which G2784 we proclaim;)

  9 G3754 that G1437 if G3670 you should acknowledge G1722 in G3588   G4750 your mouth G1473   G2962 the Lord G* Jesus, G2532 and G4100 should trust G1722 in G3588   G2588 your heart G1473   G3754 that G3588   G2316 God G1473 raised him G1453   G1537 from G3498 the dead, G4982 you shall be delivered.

The rhēma is in our mouth and in our heart. We speak, profess, confess, declare in our mouth, Lord Jesus. In other words, we say out loud “Jesus is Lord”, “Jesus is Yahweh”. Then we trust and believe in our heart that the Elohim raised Yahweh Jesus from the dead. We know Jesus Messiah rose up on the third day. Then, when those two conditions are met we are saved, delivered, preserved, rescued. We are sōzō. Paul continues to explain.

Romans 10:10 G2588 For the heart G1063   G4100 trusts G1519 unto G1343 righteousness; G4750 and the mouth G1161   G3670 acknowledges G1519 to G4991 deliverance.

  11 G3004 [4says G1063 1For G3588 2the G1124 3scripture], G3956 Every one G3588   G4100 trusting G1909 upon G1473 him G3756 shall not G2617 be put to shame.

The heart believes into righteousness. The mouth confesses into deliverance, salvation, sōtēria. No one will be ashamed in Him.

σωτηρία

sōtēria so-tay-ree'-ah Feminine of a derivative of G4990 as (properly abstract) noun; rescue or safety (physically or morally) KJV Usage: deliver, health, salvation, save, saving.

We see that sōzō is a verb, it is the act of “saving”, the action of “healing, delivering, rescuing, or preserving”. Sōtēria is the noun, meaning it is “salvation, health, deliverance, or  preservation”. Paul calls us to put on the helmet of the hope of sōtēria. Sōtēr is the personal noun, meaning the person who is the “savior, deliverer, healer”. Sōtērion can be an adjective or a noun meaning “salvation or saving” depending on the context. Paul uses it to describe a helmet in Ephesians.

Paul then tells us that there is no difference as to the nationality of the confessor who believes. Anyone from any nation can believe and confess.

Romans 10:12 G3756 [3no G1063 1For G1510.2.3 2there is] G1293 difference G* [2of Jew G5037 1both] G2532 and G* Greek; G3588 for the G1063   G1473 same G2962 Lord G3956 of all G4147 is being rich G1519 unto G3956 all G3588 the ones G1941 calling upon G1473 him.

13 G3956 For every one G1063   G3739 who G302 ever G1941 should call upon G3588 the G3686 name G2962 of the Lord G4982 shall be delivered.

Everyone means everyone. In our personal mental judicial system, we cannot understand the word “everyone”. Murderers who call on Yahweh Jesus and believe he rose up will be delivered and rescued like Paul. Rescued from what? Hades. “Everyone”, pas, means “all”. All who confess and believe are saved.

Joseph was told that Jesus would be a savior, a deliverer of people’s sins.

Matthew 1:20 G3778 [4these things G1161 1And G1473 2of his G1760 3pondering], G2400 behold, G32 an angel G2962 of the Lord G2596 by G3677 dream G5316 appeared G1473 to him, G3004 saying, G* Joseph G5207 son G* of David, G3361 you should not fear G5399   G3880 to take to yourself G* Mary G3588   G1135 your wife; G1473   G3588 for the one G1063   G1722 in G1473 her G1080 [2engendered G1537 3of G4151 5spirit G1510.2.3 1is G39 4holy].

  21 G5088 And she shall bear G1161   G5207 a son, G2532 and G2564 you shall call G3588   G3686 his name G1473   G* Jesus, G1473 for he G1473   G4982 shall deliver G3588   G2992 his people G1473   G575 from G3588   G266 their sins. G1473

  22 G3778 And this G1161   G3650 completely G1096 happened G2443 that G4137 should be fulfilled G3588 the thing G4483 having been spoken G5259 by G3588 the G2962 Lord G1223 through G3588 the G4396 prophet, G3004 saying,

  23 G2400 Behold, G3588 the G3933 virgin G1722 [2in G1064 3 the womb G2192 1has one], G2532 and G5088 she shall birth G5207 a son, G2532 and G2564 they shall call G3588   G3686 his name G1473   G* Emmanuel; G3739 which G1510.2.3 is G3177 being translated, G3326 [2with G1473 3us G3588   G2316 1God].

Joseph was made aware of who Jesus was by an angel. Jesus would be a deliverer of people from sins and would be Elohim with us. What does it mean to be delivered from sins? It means that those people who are saved can be in the presence of the Elohim when they die, not spend time in hades before the final judgment. It means they can be free of the burden of sin and receive eternal life. This is the most important type of salvation. The Jews were/are well aware of their sins, they have no remedy for sin unless they make an offering in the temple. People in the northern part of the country tried to travel to Jerusalem for holy days, but on a regular basis in their own towns there was no remission for sins. The Pharisees became the sin police, always looking for sins in the common people, assuming they themselves had none. Their roles went from teachers to taskmasters who took liberties to add to the oral laws and traditions as they pleased. Yet the law and prophets were until John. Jesus is the only way to salvation. No matter how many sacrifices were made in the temple, they all died in their sins. Today people still choose to die in their sins instead of receive Jesus as Messiah Yahweh and Savior.

Nicodemus the Pharisee was told why Jesus came into the world, which is to save the world. Jesus didn’t come as a harsh Pharisee judging everyone, he came as our savior by laying down his life to redeem us. His blood for our eternal life.

John 3:16 G3779 For thus G1063   G25 God loved G3588   G2316   G3588 the G2889 world, G5620 so that G3588   G5207 [4son G1473 2his G3588   G3439 3only born G1325 1he gave], G2443 that G3956 every one G3588   G4100 trusting G1519 in G1473 him, G3361 should not G622 perish, G235 but G2192 should have G2222 [2life G166 1eternal].

  17 G3756 [3did not G1063 1For G649 4send G3588   G2316 2God] G3588   G5207 his son G1473   G1519 into G3588 the G2889 world G2443 that G2919 he should judge G3588 the G2889 world, G235 but G2443 that G4982 [3should be delivered G3588 1the G2889 2world] G1223 by G1473 him

 18 G3588 The one G4100 trusting G1519 in G1473 him G3756 is not G2919 judged; G3588 but the one G1161   G3361 not G4100 trusting G2235 already G2919 has been judged, G3754 for G3361 he trusts not G4100   G1519 in G3588 the G3686 name G3588 of the G3439 only born G5207 son G3588   G2316 of God.

The choice we have is destruction or salvation, death or life, apollumi or sōzō . Jesus Messiah came to deliver the world. If we reject Jesus Messiah we are already judged by our own unbelief.

Acts 2:21 G2532 And G1510.8.3 it shall be G3956 all G3739 who G302 ever G1941 should call upon G3588 the G3686 name G2962 of the Lord G4982 shall be delivered.

Peter told all the Jesus haters on the day of Pentecost that they too could be saved. A benefit of salvation is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, but it is not the ultimate benefit of salvation. The ultimate benefit is eternal life. After Peter and John healed a lame man at the temple gate another uproar ensued.

Acts 4:12 G2532 And G3756 there is not G1510.2.3   G1722 [2in G243 4other G3762 3no one G3588   G4991 1deliverance]; G3777 for neither G1063   G3686 [3name G1510.2.3 1is there G2087 2another] G5259 under G3588   G3772 heaven G3588   G1325 being given G1722 to G444 men G1722 by G3739 which G1163 [2must G4982 3be delivered G1473 1we].

After healing the lame man, Peter tells the religious leaders that there is no other sōtēria given to men to be sōzō. No other salvation in which to be saved. This is it, our only salvation. While healing the lame man was a healing type of salvation, the eternal destiny of the lame man as a believer in Christ is a new and better salvation. It is nice to be healed, but not necessary to receive eternal life. Healing lasts until we die, salvation is eternal. Salvation is life after physical death.

Jesus told us he came to save the lost. The context of Matthew 18 is the mikron, the small one’s or children who believe on Jesus who are skandalizō, scandalized or entrapped. These are children who are abused, trafficked, and used for sinful purposes. We are not to look down on them, despise them, or scorn them. Jesus came to save them.

Matthew 18:10 G3708 See that G3361 you should not G2706 disdain G1520 one G3588   G3397 of these small ones! G3778   G3004 For I say G1063   G1473 to you, G3754 that G3588   G32 their angels G1473   G1722 in G3772 the heavens G1275 continually G991 look G3588 on the G4383 face G3588   G3962 of my father, G1473   G3588 the one G1722 in G3772 the heavens.

  11 G2064 [5is come G1063 1For G3588 2the G5207 3son G3588   G444 4of man] G4982 to save G3588 the G622 lost.

  12 G5100 What G1473 do you G1380 think? G1437 If G1096 there should be G5100 to any G444 man G1540 a hundred G4263 sheep, G2532 and G4105 [2should wander G1520 1one] G1537 from G1473 them, G3780 shall he not G863 leave G3588 the G1767.3 ninety G1767 nine G1909 upon G3588 the G3735 mountains, G4198 and having gone G2212 seek G3588 the G4105 one wandering?

Jesus will leave ninety nine believers to look for the one abused child being destroyed, apollumi. This is not in reference to an adult who falls off the wagon or walks away from serving Jesus. These are used, abused, and trafficked little ones being killed. Jesus will find them, he will save them. Logically we think Jesus should be rescuing them before they are used, abused, trafficked, and utterly destroyed, but this is Satanas’ realm. It is our dystopian reality. Satanas is the prince of this world and horrendous wickedness takes place everyday, all around us. We are so weak we close our eyes to it rather than fight it. Hence our need for a savior.

Jesus is not letting these little ones go into hades. He is not allowing them to perish eternally, even if they didn’t fight their captors. They once knew Him, therefore he is finding them and saving them. We might say, what about the child who gets twisted information in school or is groomed by pedophiles into thinking that he is a she and all their dreams will come true if they follow this defiled path? We know that Jesus has come to save them. But to their groomers, their instructors in unrighteousness, it would be better for them to have a millstone tied around their neck and be tossed into the sea than to entrap, entice, trip up, or cause a little one to distrust Jesus the Savior. The little ones believed in and had faith in Jesus Messiah, but are abused and misinformed to the point of them turning away from Jesus Messiah. Jesus comes to save those, while the lowest hell with everlasting fire is waiting for the abusers.

This tells us there is hope of salvation. The hope of salvation is something we put on. But not just for ourselves to be saved, but to align our thoughts when we pray for others. There is hope that those who once knew Jesus will be found by him. It is up to us to tell the rest of the world about Jesus.

Mark 16:15 G2532 And G2036 he said G1473 to them, G4198 Having gone G1519 into G3588 the G2889 world G537 all together, G2784 proclaim G3588 the G2098 good news G3956 to all G3588 in the G2937 creation!

16 G3588 The one G4100 believing G2532 and G907 being immersed G4982 shall be delivered; G3588 but the one G1161   G569 disbelieving G2632 shall be condemned.

Our choice is to believe or be condemned. It is up to us to tell others. Believe, be immersed, and saved. We teach our children as well, and if someone turns them away from Jesus Messiah, there is hope for their salvation.

There are other benefits to being saved today, here and now. We are delivered from the wrath, and since we do not know when that will take place, it is a benefit to know that we are sōzō from the wrath of the Lamb and Father.

Roman 5:8 G4921 [3commends G1161 1but G3588   G1438 4his own G26 5love G1519 6for G1473 7us G3588   G2316 2God], G3754 that G2089 yet G268 [2being sinners G1510.6   G1473 1we], G5547 Christ G5228 [2for G1473 3us G599 1died].

  9 G4183 Much G3767 more then, G3123   G1344 having been justified G3568 now G1722 in G3588   G129 his blood, G1473   G4982 we shall be delivered G1223 by G1473 him G575 from G3588 the G3709 wrath.

  10 G1487 For if G1063   G2190 being enemies, G1510.6   G2644 we were reconciled G3588   G2316 to God G1223 through G3588 the G2288 death G3588   G5207 of his son, G1473   G4183 how much G3123 more G2644 having been reconciled, G4982 shall we be delivered G1722 in G3588   G2222 his life. G1473

Paul has a great understanding of our rescue sōzō, by Jesus’ blood. Because Jesus died we are reconciled in His life. Sōzō is by grace. It is by grace that we are saved, delivered, preserved, rescued, from the coming wrath. Meanwhile we have a helmet of sōtēria

1 Thessalonians 5:8 G1473 But we G1161   G2250 being of day G1510.6   G3525 should be sober, G1746 putting on G2382 the chest plate G4102 of belief G2532 and G26 love, G2532 and G4030 helmet -- G1680 hope G4991 of deliverance.

  9 G3754 For G3756 [4not G5087 2set G1473 3us G3588   G2316 1God] G1519 for G3709 wrath, G235 but G1519 for G4047 the procurement G4991 of salvation G1223 through G3588   G2962 our Lord G1473   G* Jesus G5547 Christ,

10 G3588 the one G599 having died G5228 for G1473 us; G2443 that G1535 whether G1127 we be vigilant, G1535 or whether G2518 we sleep, G260 together G4862 with G1473 him G2198 we shall live.

We have a helmet which is our hope of sōtēria. We are not set or appointed for wrath but sōtēria through Yahweh Jesus Messiah. Whether we are watchful or resting we will live zaō together with Him. Why would holy people serve a god who intends to punish them without mercy, just like he punishes evildoers? It is antithetical with Jesus dying for us for the remission of our sins. Instead Jesus died for those who believe on Him, by grace giving us remission for our sins, and sparing us from the wrath to come. Paul’s suggestion is that we put salvation on the top of our head. Do not let people slyly use sophistry to talk us out of our deliverance. Not just deliverance from sin, but deliverance from the coming wrath and deliverance into eternal life. We who believe are made alive and raised up together in the Messiah. Again Paul suggests that we put on the helmet of salvation in Ephesians. In this case, sōtērion is used as an adjective, describing the helmet, the salvation helmet.

Ephesians 6:14 G2476 Stand G3767 then! G4024 girding G3588   G3751 your loin G1473   G1722 in G225 truth, G2532 and G1746 putting on G3588 the G2382 chest plate G3588   G1343 of righteousness,

  15 G2532 and G5265 having sandals tied on G3588 the G4228 feet G1722 in G2091 preparation G3588 of the G2098 good news G3588   G1515 of peace.

  16 G1909 With G3956 all G353 having taken up G3588 the G2375 shield G3588 of the G4102 belief, G1722 in G3739 which G1410 you shall be able G3956 [2all G3588 3the G956 4arrows G3588 5of the G4190 6wicked one G3588   G4448 7being setting on fire G4570 1to extinguish];

Neuter of the same as G4991 as (properly concrete) noun; defender or (by implication) defence KJV Usage: salvation.

Paul tells us to put on the helmet of deliverance. In Thessalonians it is the helmet of the hope of deliverance, here is it the helmet of deliverance. We are to cover our brain with the knowledge of our deliverance, the hope of it coming, and the aspects of eternal life.

If we could never sustain a head injury then we would not need a helmet, but obviously a head injury is possible and could be fatal. If we do not understand salvation by grace unto eternal life, spared from wrath, we could be injured in our brain, our thoughts. We all know of religious people who strive for works, judge everyone else’s sins, and preach the punishment gospel, that is a head injury. It is counter or opposite of what Jesus tells us and what the Holy Spirit tells us. It is the antithesis of the gospel message. Some people want to go back to the bondage of rituals and dogmas, and put others into oppression. Jesus wants us to be free from head injuries. Put on the helmet of salvation the helmet of the hope of salvation. It is a free gift given by grace through our faith of eternal life in Yahweh Savior Jesus Messiah.

Ephesians 2:4 G3588 But the G1161   G2316 God G4145 being rich G1510.6   G1722 in G1656 mercy G1223 through G3588 the G4183 great G26 love G1473 of his, G3739 which G25 he loved G1473 us,

  8 G3588   G1063 For G5484 by favor G1510.2.5 you are G4982 being preserved G1223 through G3588 the G4102 belief; G2532 and G3778 this G3756 [3 is not G1537 4of G1473 5you G2316 2of God G3588   G1435 1gift];

  9 G3756 not G1537 of G2041 works, G2443 lest G3361   G5100 any G2744 should boast.

By grace, favor, charin, we are sōzō being raised up and by grace, favor, charin, we are sōzō through faith. Translators used the idea of “being preserved” to indicate this is future, instead of using the present tense of salvation or deliverance. We are saved through belief. There is no place for us to boast, we didn’t do any of this for ourselves. Jesus did it all for us. We boast in Him. We believe on the good news of our deliverance. Then we are sealed.

Ephesians 1:13 G1722 In G3739 whom G2532 also G1473 you, G191 having heard G3588 the G3056 word G3588 of the G225 truth G3588 the G2098 good news G3588   G4991 of your deliverance -- G1473   G1722 in G3739 whom G2532 also G4100 having trusted, G4972 you were sealed G3588 by the G4151 spirit G3588 of the G1860 promise G3588 in the G39 holy;

  14 G3739 who G1510.2.3 is G728 the deposit G3588   G2817 of our inheritance, G1473   G1519 in G629 a release by ransom G3588 of the G4047 procurement G1519 in G1868 high praise G3588   G1391 of his glory. G1473

We are sealed with the Holy Spirit, as a deposit of our off-ransom. Our deliverance sōtēria is on the way and we know that because we are sealed the Holy Spirit dwells inside of us. We are ready for an off-ransom, the day Jesus Messiah calls to collect us.

In a way it is like living a test or a beta version of power, with the Holy Spirit inside us. We can utilize the power we have for the gifts of the Spirit. Receiving this power is not everything we will ever receive, it is a token, a small portion of what we will inherit. The full version is on the way to being rolled out, when the full number is reached and the set time is come. Those two variables will be met before we have our full inheritance. In the mean time, we have help. Angels minister to the ones inheriting sōtēria.

Hebrews 1:13 G4314 [2to G5100 3which G1161 1And] G3588 of the G32 angels G2046 said he G4218 at some time or other? G2521 Sit down G1537 at G1188 my right, G1473   G2193 until G302 whenever G5087 I should put G3588   G2190 your enemies G1473   G5286 as a footstool G3588   G4228 of your feet!

  14 G3780 [2not G3956 3all G1510.2.6 1Are they] G3010 ministering G4151 spirits, G1519 [2in G1248 3service G649 1being sent] G1223 on account of G3588 the ones G3195 being about G2816 to inherit G4991 deliverance?

The term ministering spirits is to be “employed in service” to those receiving sōtēria. Angels serve the ones who are going to receive salvation. How do they know who is going to receive salvation? We are sealed. It is a seal they can see. Until our day of redemption or off-ransom, we are awaiting our deliverer, sōtēr, Yahweh Jesus Messiah. So we have inherent power, authority, the Holy Spirit, and angels to get us through dystopia world. One day our citizenship will be in the heavens, but until then we have tools for life now.

Philippians 3:20 G1473 For of us G1063   G3588 the G4175 citizenship G1722 in G3772 the heavens G5224 exists, G1537 of G3739 which G2532 also G4990 [2a deliverer G553 1we await] -- G2962 the Lord G* Jesus G5547 Christ,

1) saviour, deliverer, preserver

The name was given by the ancients to deities, esp. tutelary deities, to princes, kings, and in general to men who had conferred signal benefits upon their country, and in more degenerate days by the way of flattery to personages of influence.(Wigram) The word soter was a common Greek epithet for the gods (e.g., Zeus, Apollo, and Hermes), active personalities in world affairs (e.g., Epicurus) and rulers (e.g., Ptolemy Philopator, and later Roman Emporers). (cf. LSJ and BDAG)

σωτήρ

sōtēr so-tare' From G4982; a deliverer, that is, God or Christ KJV Usage: saviour.

Jesus is our sōtēr, deliverer, savior. His name is Yahweh Jesus Messiah. He was announced to Joseph by an angel and he was announced by angels to shepherds on the night of his birth.

Luke 2:10 G2532 And G2036 [3said G1473 4to them G3588 1the G32 2angel], G3361 Fear not! G5399   G2400 for behold G1063   G2097 I announce to you good news -- G1473   G5479 [2joy G3173 1great] G3748 which G1510.8.3 shall be G3956 to all G3588   G2992 people.

  11 G3754 For G5088 was born G1473 to you G4594 today G4990 a deliverer G3739 who G1510.2.3 is G5547 Christ G2962 the Lord, G1722 in G4172 the city G* of David

Our deliverer sōtēr, savior, has a name, it is Messiah Yahweh Jesus. All it takes is believing and confessing. Peter tells us that we will be given entrance into the eternal kingdom of Yahweh Sōtēr Jesus Messiah.

2 Peter 1:11 G3779 For thus G1063   G4146 richly G2023 shall be supplied G1473 to you G3588 the G1529 entrance G1519 into G3588 the G166 eternal G932 kingdom G3588   G2962 of our Lord G1473   G2532 and G4990 deliverer G* Jesus G5547 Christ.

Peter is the one who said that there is no other name in which one can be saved. We are saved for entrance into the eternal kingdom, we are saved from destruction.

2 Peter 3:18 G837 But grow G1161   G1722 in G5484 the favor G2532 and G1108 knowledge G3588   G2962 of our Lord G1473   G2532 and G4990 deliverer G* Jesus G5547 Christ! G1473 To him G3588 be the G1391 glory G2532 both G3568 now G2532 and G1519 into G2250 the day G165 of the eon. G281 Amen.

Peter reminds us again that his name is Yahweh Sōtēr Jesus Messiah. We are to grow in the grace and knowledge of Him. We are to get to know him. Before Jesus came to earth people longed for the deliverer, sōtēr. There are many Psalms written about the deliver coming, or delivering David at that time, which Yahweh did. David tells us to sing about Him.

Psalms 98:  0 G5568 A psalm G3588 to G* David.

  1 G103 Sing G3588 to the G2962 lord G779.1 [2song G2537 1a new]! G3754 for G2298 [4wonderful things G4160 3did G3588 1the G2962 2 lord]. G4982 He delivered G1473 him G3588 by G1188 his right hand G1473   G2532 and G3588   G1023 [2arm G3588   G39 1his holy]. G1473

  2 G1107 The lord made known G2962   G3588   G4992 his deliverance; G1473   G1726 before G3588 the G1484 nations G601 he revealed G3588   G1343 his righteousness. G1473

While awaiting a Messiah people had a better understanding of the dystopian nightmare that living on earth became after the adam sinned. They waited for the savior, the sōtēr. Yahweh would sōzō, save them, by his right hand. Yahweh made known his deliverance sōtērion and before the nations he revealed his righteousness. Yahweh Sōtēr Messiah came out of Israel to deliver the entire world, all nations, as Paul told us in Romans 10. He is not just the savior to the Jews but to all who believe on Him. While being saved has varying meanings, we are interested in saving for eternity. We want salvation for eternal life that spares us from the wrath to come. We are grateful for healings and for rescue from harm and danger, but truly those things are temporal, while Jesus provides an eternal solution to all people. Yahweh Sōtēr Jesus Messiah is his name and his name is the only name by which we can be saved for eternity. Confess and believe.
