Is it bad to be an optimist? What is wrong with being positive and hopeful? The sour people among us would tell us to manage our expectations. If we place expectations in humans then we will be disappointed because humans are fallible. Instead, our expectations should be placed on Yahweh and His name. From the time of Genesis 3:15 there has been hope. The expectation was for the coming Messiah. Everyone looked forward to his arrival. Today we look forward in expectation to his call from the clouds. Now we have to develop a relationship with Yahweh as Abraham and David did. We are the first fruit and we can expect that he will reward us, whatever the reward may be. David says that Yahweh puts his hand on our shoulders and says we are secure in our expectations in Him. We are blessed to have our expectations in Yahwehs name. We should never have our expectations in illusions or in false insanity. We can endure in expectations and trust on Yahweh, and build our relationship with him. We are the people that the Elohim pours out love on and we are given wages for trusting Him.
Paul explains to us that Abraham looked ahead to the promises made by Yahweh and trusted that those promises would come to pass.
Romans 4:16 G1223 On account of G3778 this G1537 it is of G4102 belief, G2443 that G2596 according to G5484 favor, G1519 for G3588 the G1510.1 [2to be G949 3firm G3588 G1860 1promise] G3956 to all G3588 the G4690 seed, G3756 not G3588 to the one G1537 of G3588 the G3551 law G3440 only, G235 but G2532 also G3588 to the one G1537 of G4102 belief G* of Abraham, G3739 who G1510.2.3 is G3962 father G3956 of all G1473 of us,
“By means of this from out of trust in order that downwards through favor into the promise there being enduring the all the offspring not the from out of the law alone otherwise and the from out of trust Abraham who is father all us.”
Abraham is a father to all believers, not only the people ascribing to the Law. Abraham preceded the law, he did not have commandments to follow, he followed Yahweh. Therefore in our age, when there is no temple or adherence to societal laws in Israel, and there is a secular government, then the Law is impossible to follow. People make allowances to the Mosaic Law and follow the parts that they want to, but they do not follow all of the Law. As Paul explains this to the Romans, the Romans understand that they can be of Abraham’s seed by faith. We are Abraham’s seed by faith. Abraham did not have scrolls telling him what to do, he may have read the books from Enoch while living with Noah and Shem, but Enoch did not prescribe laws. Enoch prescribed relationship. This is how Abraham knew Yahweh, through relationship.
Romans 4:17 G2531 (as G1125 it has been written, G3754 that, G3962 [3father G4183 4of many G1484 5nations G5087 1I have established G1473 2you],) G2713 in front of G3739 which G4100 he trusted G2316 God, G3588 of the one G2227 restoring [3to life G3588 1the G3498 2dead], G2532 and G2564 calling G3588 the ones G3361 not G1510.6 being, G5613 as G1510.6 being;
“Just as written that place you father many ethnos in front of this trust the Elohim the corpse make to live and invite the not being so that being.”
Abraham was promised to become the Father of many ethnic groups or nations. In Paul’s day nations were not quite as mixed as they are today. Ethnic groups, ethnos, can be in any nation.

Yahweh told Abram that he was now Abraham. Adding the “h” or “Hey” in Hebrew is symbolized as a man with arms raised. It means “look”, “reveal”, or “breath”. Abram was now going to be a man worshipping. Abram was going to look to Yahweh and see him revealed, and Yahweh would breathe on Abram. We are Abraham’s seed. We have a relationship with Yahweh with our arms raised; we look and Yahweh reveals himself to us and then breathes on us.
Abraham was now established or put in place as a father of many nations. Abraham has the breath of Yahweh on him, he would now give life to those who hope/expect and trust in Yahweh.

"That from the side of expectation trust on expectation into the he comes into being a father many ethnos downward the say in this manner his offspring will be.”
Abraham from the side of expectation, trusted on expectation. I imagine it was pretty hard for Abraham to trust in his own ability at his age, but he expected that what Yahweh said was true. Abraham’s relationship with Yahweh is what Abraham’s trust was founded on.
Genesis 15:5 G1806 And he led G1161 G1473 him G1854 outside, G2532 and G2036 said G1473 to him, G308 Look up G1211 indeed G1519 into G3588 the G3772 heaven, G2532 and G705 count out G3588 the G792 stars, G1487 if G1410 you are able G1821.2 to count G1473 them! https://musingsofawinsomeheart.blogspot.com/2021/07/little-faith-law-of-faith-from-credence.html
Abraham trusted in the Elohim which is why he is our father in the faith. Abraham’s trust made him count among the righteous. Our trust makes us reckoned among the righteous. But Abram/Abraham did not blindly trust. He developed a relationship with Yahweh; Yahweh spoke with him and he with Yahweh. This is our foundational message. We need to have the kind of a relationship with Yahweh that we speak with him and he with us.
Genesis 15:6 G2532 And G4100 Abram trusted G* G3588 G2316 in God, G2532 and G3049 it was imputed G1473 to him G1519 for G1343 righteousness.
We do not trust what or who we do not know. We trust who we do know. If someone were to betray our trust we would be cautious and not want to trust them again. We trust Yahweh because we surrender to Him, the Creator, not because he is like a candy machine and will do what we want. Abraham surrendered to Yahweh’s plan. We should surrender to Yahweh’s plan, but it is always easier when we have a relationship with Yahweh.
Hebrews 11:6 G5565 But apart from G1161 G4102 belief G102 it is impossible G2100 to well-please; G4100 [6to believe G1063 1for G1163 2it is necessary G3588 3for the one G4334 4coming forward G3588 G2316 5to God] G3754 that G1510.2.3 he is; G2532 and G3588 to the ones G1567 seeking after G1473 him G3406 [2a paymaster G1096 1he becomes].
This is Enoch’s story, Abraham’s story, Noah’s story, and our story. We move from credence to fidelity, or acceptance to loyalty, and then our relationship grows. Without trust we cannot be pleasing to the Elohim. We have to trust that He exists. When we seek after the Elohim, he becomes a misthapodotēs which comes from misthoō “to hire for wages”, and apodidōmi “give away”. If we search for the Elohim then we trust that He exists. If we trust that He exists and search Him out, he gives away, as if we are hired. He is a rewarder. We are rewarded for trusting and searching for Him. Somehow this deal cannot be any better. We trust. We seek. He rewards.
Let’s make sure that we understand this, we trust that he exists. We seek him because we trust him. He then pays us because we trust him. This is a key for us. Expectation leads us to receiving rewards now. Abraham trusted and he spoke it out, and he was rewarded in his lifetime with wealth, prosperity, and progeny. But his progeny multiplied when he became the father of believers.
For some perspective, Jesus told us that if we know how to give good gifts how much more will the Heavenly Father give those who trust in him good things.
Matthew 7:9 Or what man is there of you, if his son asks him for a loaf of bread, will hand him a stone?
10 Or if he asks for a fish, will hand him a serpent?
11 If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give good and advantageous things to those who keep on asking Him!
The Amplified Bible. (1987). (Mt 7:9–11). La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation.
Our Heavenly Father is not like men. Our Heavenly Father is Mighty Almighty. Why would we think that he would do less than men would. Here is the key, we trust, we expect, we endure, and He rewards. Keep this in mind as we read on.
This psalm is a sacred song written by David into the fulfillment or the end. David was a giant slayer and he had to depend on Yahweh for his very life. Yahweh guided his steps. David had an amazingly strong relationship with Yahweh.
Psalms 4:8 G1722 In G1515 peace G1909 [2at G3588 3the G1473 4same place G2837 1I will go to bed] G2532 and G5258.1 sleep. G3754 For G1473 you, G2962 O lord, G2596 alone G3441 G1909 [3with G1680 4hope G2733.1 1settled G1473 2me].
David said that he was settled with expectation. David had peace and was settled. The word κατώκισάς, translated “settled” is a “downward press upon one’s shoulders”, as if someone standing in front of you put their hands on your shoulders and said “relax”. In this context it is a downward press from heaven or from Yahweh, putting his hands on your shoulders and showing you that you are secure in His hope or expectation. David says that Yahweh settled him in expectation. Yahweh did not say “manage your expectation”. He said that David’s expectations were settled. Now David can sleep. We can all use restful sleep while settled in Yahweh.
Another psalm into the fulfillment or end written by David
Pslams 40:4 G3107 Blessed is G435 the man G3739 of which G1510.2.3 [2is G3588 3in the G3686 4name G2962 5 of the lord G1680 1his hope], G1473 G2532 and G3756 did not G1914 look G1519 to G3153 follies G2532 and G3130 [2frenzies G5571 1false]
David tells us that we are blessed if we have our expectation in Yahweh’s name. What are follies? Follies are “unreality”. What is an unreality? Something which is imaginary or illusionary. If you look to Satanas or Drakōn to be your “god” then that is something that is an unreality or a false religion, inutility. Neither one is a creator and neither one can create or procreate. If we trust in things that are not real then we will be disappointed. False ideas about life, the creation, the Godhead, are all areas where we have to adjust our thinking to reality based thoughts instead of follies.
What are false frenzies? Pseudēs mania is “a false” or “lying insanity". Believing that one can give money to politicians who can enact regulations to change the earth’s climate is silly. The Creator, Yahweh, is the only one who can change the earth’s climate and he does not need our money.
Another Pseudo madness is expecting fairness in a world that was stolen by the prince of this world, the ruler of darkness. There is no equality or equity in Satanas’ domain. Those who worship Satanas obtain more, rule more, and get away with more, than those who worship Yahweh. We cannot mitigate that. There is no such thing as “fair” under the god of this world. Other false craziness’ would include idol worship, human sacrifice, and human depopulation. None of those things will have a positive effect in our world for Yahweh. Therefore we look to the name of Yahweh.
Still another pseudo insanity is a lab leaked plague that has affected the entire world. The hype from Satanas’ worker bees is that everyone must be injected with foreign substances. Yet we see third world countries using several remedies successfully. Bear with me here, eye veer metric ton, those great kosher cookies hydrox seee color quin, and its base formula (q) eye nine, and active ate-ed sodium chlor right. Many poor countries have cured people from the plague using one of these safe alternatives while rich countries seem to be intentionally making people more susceptible to the plague by plaguing their immune system. All for a virus with a ninety nine percent recovery rate. This is a false frenzy or a lying insanity, propagated by Satanas’ people to see how many will believe and obey them. David explained it perfectly for our day, the end times.
Just because David had a personal relationship with Yahweh did not mean that David would not have to go through hard times. David went through many hard situations but Yahweh delivered him. This is an important key. David understood that his mission was to kill off as many heirs of the Nephil as possible and he had to rely on Yahweh to do it. It was hard. Some of David’s own people, who had mixed with the Philistines, were against him. Yet David stayed steady and did what he needed to do.
We never simply sail through life, our faith and trust is tested by our enemy just as Job’s faith was. Job thought the dragon, Drakōn, had already been slain. Drakōn has not been slain yet. Job simply read the gospel that is written in the stars incorrectly.
We each have a mission for Yahweh, and we need Him to accomplish it. We are waiting for our release by ransom, meanwhile we moan, or groan, in agony because we are expecting our adoption.

We are the first fruit of the Holy Spirit, meaning that those who believe on Jesus since his resurrection have been filled with the Holy Spirit starting on the day of Pentecost. The “first fruit” is the first crop of the year. This is a parallel, as Pentecost, Shavuot, and First Fruits take place seven weeks after Passover. The initial offering of first fruits takes place a few days after Passover, then the main celebration fifty days later when the first fruits are harvested. Therefore the offering of first fruits was made when Jesus was resurrected and the celebration of the first fruits when the Holy Spirit came on Pentecost to indwell believers. The harvest is still future. Jesus’s offering made those who believed that he died and rose on the third day part of the harvest of the first fruits. While we are eagerly awaiting our “harvest” which is our release by Jesus’ blood ransom, and our adoption, we are eagerly waiting in expectation.

Jesus made the first fruit offering, now we await the first fruit harvest. Paul wants us to understand that no matter how deeply grieving the world is, we are to be steadfast and eagerly await. We have not seen Jesus call anyone up yet so our hope and expectation is correct, not based on a wish. We remain cheerful in our endurance because we know what is coming.
We are not the only ones awaiting with expectation, the creation is also anxiously awaiting something.

We groan for our adoption, but everything around us suffers together. We cannot “fix” anything with manmade ideas, we can only fix the climate with the Creator revealing the Sons of God. We cannot fix the travail that the animals, plants, and fish, are in. We all have this idea that we are trying to get back to Eden, the garden of God, but we cannot do that on our own. The earth groans, strains, and travails, it cracks, splits, and erupts. We cannot fix that by depopulation. We cannot change anything because Satanas is the god of this world. Satanas has fooled many people into thinking that we can change the creation, but only the revealing of the Sons of God will amend creation. This is why at times we see the stress in the world, not just among people but among creation. The stress is the earnest expectation of the creation, waiting for a relief from its own suffering.
This is God’s plan, not our plan, for correcting sin in the earth. We expect that it will happen because in the millennial reign Jesus will be ruling from Jerusalem. The earth will have been healed from its pain. The rich can attempt depopulation all they want, but our expectation is in Yahweh and in His name. Paul gives us another clue for living in our day.
1 Thessalonians 1:3 G89 continually G3421 remembering G1473 your G3588 G2041 work G3588 of the G4102 belief, G2532 and G3588 the G2873 toil G3588 of the G26 love, G2532 and G3588 the G5281 endurance G3588 of the G1680 hope G3588 G2962 of our Lord G1473 G* Jesus G5547 Christ, G1715 before G3588 G2316 [2God G2532 3and G3962 4father G1473 1our].
Paul continually remembers the Thessalonians work of faith, and the toil or laborious toil of love. Why is love so hard? Love in a world of sin that is run by a fallen being is foreign to the unsaved. This makes love weary and fatiguing for us. We labor in love because sometimes loving the unlovable is hard. But we have patient endurance in our expectation of Yahweh Jesus Christ before the Elohim and our Father. Our walk in love with endurance is due to our expectation of Jesus’ call for us from the clouds; he could come at any time.
Because of our expectation of Jesus calling at any time we boast or brag proudly about our expectations
Romans 5:1 G1344 Having been justified G3767 then G1537 of G4102 belief, G1515 [2peace G2192 1we have] G4314 towards G3588 G2316 God G1223 through G3588 G2962 our Lord G1473 G* Jesus G5547 Christ,

Paul tells the Romans that we are justified by our trust in the Elohim through Yahweh Jesus Christ through whom we have access to trust; and because of this we stand and boast upon expectation of the glory of the Elohim. Think about this, other religions cannot boast about how good their god is, other religions cannot trust that their god will deliver them. But because Jesus rose up on the third day then we can trust that our Elohim will deliver us.
Romans 5:3 G3756 [2not G3440 3only that G1161 1And], G235 but G2532 also G2744 we boast G1722 in G3588 the G2347 afflictions, G1492 knowing G3754 that G3588 the G2347 affliction G5281 [2endurance G2716 1manufactures];
What Roman gods delivered the people? None. Usually they were said to be tyrannical towards people. But we brag about our afflictions because going through tribulations manufactures endurance. We become more and more steadfast. Laboring in persecutions develops patient waiting, perseverance, and constancy.
Romans 5:4 G3588 and the G1161 G5281 endurance G1382 proof; G3588 and the G1161 G1382 proof G1680 hope;
Endurance tries our character, and the trying of our character brings expectation.
Romans 5:5 G3588 and the G1161 G1680 hope G3756 does not shame; G2617 G3754 for G3588 the G26 love G3588 G2316 of God G1632 has been poured out G1722 in G3588 G2588 our hearts G1473 G1223 through G4151 [2spirit G39 1holy], G3588 of the one G1325 having been given G1473 to us.
And expectation does not leave us in utter confusion or frustration. Think that through, all we have to have is expectation in our situation and that expectation is all we need. We will not be disgraced or shamed, or downward shamed, meaning that the Elohim will not embarrass us. Our part is expectation, hope, trust, confidence, and His part becomes active because His love is poured forth in our heart. We endure in expectation and His love is bestowed on us through the Holy Spirit. We are the first fruit, the Holy Spirit lives in us, all we do is endure in expectation and the Elohim shows up. He becomes our rewarder or the one who pays wages simply because we trust and seek Him. This is how big trust and expectation is.
The best way to apply this idea is to simply ask the Elohim. He may not tell us point by point but this is the benefit of having a relationship with Him. Abraham had to expect that he would be the Father of many ethnic groups and he spoke out that he would be the father of many ethnic groups. Just like Abraham we expect and have confidence that he will provide. We can speak it out. David expected Yahweh’s deliverance and he received it. David could be fearless because of his expectation in Yahweh. Our part is to wait and expect, his part is pouring out love in our heart through the Holy Spirit.

“Hold down the acknowledgement the expectation, bending to neither side, trustworthy for the announce upon.”
We hold down to the acknowledgement, the expectation. We do not bend to either side. Trustworthy is the one we proclaim. We brag about Him we brag about what he has done for us. We proclaim his goodness. We stay positive in expectation and we know that he will reward us. He will pour out His love in our heart through the Holy Spirit. We are His first fruits, He would never give those who trust and expect anything less than what is good. We are cheerfully expecting Jesus our Lord and Messiah.
