There are always years of discomfort and danger. Comparatively there are years of abundance and peace. We are living in a tumultuous time, but that does not mean that we are in the tribulation, we are not. It does mean that we have to rise up and push the powers of darkness back, because while we, the believers in Christ, are on the earth, we have authority. As we have talked about authority and our power to use curses as Yahweh intended, we also have another front to fight on. That is the infiltration of false teachings in the church. It is dangerous to tell the congregants to simply obey your government because ‘that is what Paul said to do’. We will explore this as it is not quite true. The woke church leads people down dangerous paths, wide and broad, but we are to be on the narrow path. There are hirelings in the pulpits who get paid to pacify the congregation. We will see that disciples of the Elohim followed the Elohim before following the laws of men. We will also note Jeremiah’s Lamentation, as it serves as a warning to us.
In Romans 12 we see Paul explaining how we should behave. We should love on another, we should be constant in prayer. We should live in harmony with one another and not be snobby. We should not be overcome by evil, but we should instead overcome evil with good. We then come to chapter 13 and suddenly we forget the context. Remember that chapter divisions were not part of the original letter from Paul but were added later to make it easier to locate the writers ideas. Paul says that we are all under some type of authority. Most times those authorities are under the direction of the Elohim, but sometimes they are not.
Romans 13:1 G3956 Every G5590 soul G1849 [2to authorities G5242 3being superior G5293 1be submitted]! G3756 [3no G1063 1For G1510.2.3 2there is] G1849 authority G1508 unless G575 from G2316 God; G3588 and the ones G1161 G1510.6 being G1849 authorities G5259 [2by G3588 G2316 3God G5021 1are ordered]. G1510.2.6
“All breath life subject authority higher for he not authority whether not from under the Elohim but being from under put in order they are the Elohim”
Are we to believe that those nations that murder Christians and will not allow Christianity into their countries are doing what the Elohim wants? Of course not. The Elohim wants people from every tribe to come to Jesus. What about authorities from non-Christian nations who infiltrate Christian nations and install vassals in the government in order to overtake the Christian nation? No, that is not from the Elohim, it is from the god of this world. However, if the sheep are asleep then eventually the sheep will wonder why they were overtaken by a foreign nation. Who wants the sheep to stay passive?
We have to understand the context that Paul is speaking about, which comes a few verses later. Understand that the “authorities” of Rome were those who were working in government. They were the people who kept the peace, who offered services, and protected the nation.
Romans 13:2 G5620 So that G3588 the one G498 rebelling against G3588 the G1849 authority, G3588 [2in the G3588 G2316 3disposition of God G1296 G436 1opposes]; G3588 and the ones G1161 G436 opposing, G1438 [3to themselves G2917 2judgment G2983 1shall receive].
“As the resist the authority set against the the Elohim ordinance the but set against receive judgment himself”
We all have to follow the laws of our country. Then we can live in peace. If someone violates the laws pertaining to drunk driving, they will disrupt the peace. These types of authorities are logical to follow and to submit to. However, we need to think this through. Has it ever been acceptable to the Elohim to erase Him from the universe? Is it the will of the Elohim for humans to enter eternal death? Who do you think might want the chaotic world to not know the Elohim? If this was the Elohim’s plan then he would have left us long ago. He would not have strung us along for six thousand years just to forsake us forever.
Romans 13:3 G3588 For the G1063 G758 rulers G3756 are not G1510.2.6 G5401 a fear G3588 of the ones G18 of good G2041 works, G235 but G3588 of the ones G2556 of evils. G2309 [2you should 4want G1161 1But G3361 3not] G5399 to be fearful of G3588 the G1849 authority; G3588 by the G18 [2good G4160 1doing] G2532 even G2192 you shall have G1868 high praise G1537 from G1473 it.
“For the rulers they are not frightening the good work contrariwise the bad but desire not fearful the authority the good manufacture and have commendation from out of them”
We don’t have to fear the rulers, instead we can befriend them, manufacturing good by bringing them the gospel message. Maybe we pray for them as Paul suggests to Timothy. If we are law abiding we will be respected when we speak to them. Paul is trying to get us to see them as potential Christians.
Romans 13:4 G2316 [3of God G1063 1For G1249 2it is a servant] G1510.2.3 G1473 to you G1519 for G3588 G18 good. G1437 But if G1161 G3588 G2556 [2evil G4160 1you should do], G5399 fear! G3756 for it does not G1063 G1500 [4in vain G3588 2the G3162 3sword G5409 1wear]. G2316 [4of God G1063 1For G1249 3a servant G1510.2.3 2it is], G1558 punishing G1519 for G3709 wrath G3588 to the one G3588 G2556 [2evil G4238 1doing].
“For minister Elohim he to thee into the good but if the bad manufacture fear for not bear/carry the sword without reason for he minister Elohim avenging into anger the the habitually bad”
We do not have to be in fear of the normal authorities unless we are doing something wrong. We can live in peace with the police because we are doing good. We can walk in love, and love others. It never turns out well for those who disobey authorities. And as we see, Satanas tries to make the lawbreakers who burn down cities into societal heroes. Satanas holds up criminals and claims the non-criminals are unjust. This is incorrect.
Romans 13:5 G1352 Therefore G318 it is a necessity G5293 to be submitted, G3756 not G3440 only G1223 because of G3588 the G3709 wrath, G235 but G2532 also G1223 because of G3588 the G4893 conscience.
“Wherefore constraint subjected not merely by means of the anger otherwise and by means of the moral consciousness.”
We constrain ourselves and stay submitted because of our own moral conscious. We are not habitually evil, therefore we are not submitting out of anger but out of love. We can live within the bounds of reasonable laws.
Would the Elohim expect you to obey orders in contradiction to the Elohim’s laws? How did that work out for Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, or Zeboim? Would the Elohim expect you to obey an order to kill babies? Is the Elohim pleased when killing babies is brought into the temple as an offering to a false god? Was the Elohim pleased when Israel defiled itself over and over? How did that seem to work out for Israel? Two captivities and two destroyed temples later, we see that following the Elohim’s laws are foremost. It is better to not behave like blind sheep.
Conversely what happened to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah? They did not bow to the image of gold and they survived the burning fiery furnace. What about Daniel who prayed three times a day when the law said that no one could pray for thirty days? What happened to Paul and Silas when they were jailed for casting out a demon? Was casting out demons against Roman law? No. Christianity was not allowed by the Israelite religious leaders and the Romans, but somehow the religious laws were defied. Clearly Paul telling people to obey authorities that may contradict the Elohim is not what Paul is suggesting. Paul disobeyed his authorities. Here is the answer to the context of the chapter.
Romans 13:6 G1223 [2on account of G3778 3this G1063 1For] G2532 also G5411 [2 paying the tribute G5055 1fulfill]! G3011 [3ministers G1063 1for G2316 4of God G1510.2.6 2they are] G1519 in G1473 this same thing G3778 G4342 attending to constantly.
“For by means of that thing and complete tax for they are minister Elohim into they are into them that thing persist.”
Now we see the context. The context is the taxman. They are ministers of God, not because they are Christians but because they are providing the funding to keep order and peace. The tax collectors were authorities. One had to obey the taxman. If we pay our taxes we are able to have police, fire protection, and a host of other services. These services are provided for all the people. This is why Paul is suggesting that we do obey the laws of the tax collectors.
Does paying taxes have a bad connotation? Yes. But we should change our attitude. In the first century people did not like the Roman tax collectors in Israel. They felt that the heathen Romans should not extract money from them. Albeit the Romans provided security to Israel from other nations. As Israel’s history bears witness, the Egyptians and the Babylonians forced Judah to pay taxes after the reign of Josiah. Many times the tax collectors bullied and abused the people. Matthew was a tax collector who had the right attitude. But we know that the tax collectors were in submission to the government authorities and they had to do their job. The Roman Christians did not like the tax collectors in their day and Paul is giving them advice on how to behave.
Romans 13:7 G591 Render G3767 then G3956 to all G3588 the G3782 debts! G3588 to the one G3588 for the G5411 tribute -- G3588 the G5411 tribute; G3588 to the one G3588 for the G5056 tax -- G3588 the G5056 tax; G3588 to the one G3588 G5401 commanding fear -- G3588 the G5401 fear; G3588 to the one G3588 G5092 commanding honor -- G3588 the G5092 honor
“Give up all the debt, to the tax, the tax to the fulfillment, the fulfillment to the fear, the fear to the price, the price.”
Paul says to give up the debt, or don’t be in debt. Don’t run away from the tax collector. Finish paying what is owed. In fear make your payments. Pay a fair price. In other words do not try and cheat the government even if you don’t like the government. Or as the modern day woke crowd would chant ‘pay your fair share’.
This is the context, it has always been the context, and it will always be the context. It will never be anything else. Therefore, the people who have taught this incorrectly stand ashamed. They are responsible for causing the wolves to attack the sheep, they are hirelings and wolves in sheep clothing. The hirelings disarmed the sheep, and Satanas sent in the wolves. If you find yourself living in a city or a nation in chaos, be reminded that some sheep have horns for a reason. Head butt the enemy out of town.
Paul then goes on to once again talk about love.
Romans 13:8 G3367 To no one G3367 owe anything, G3784 G1508 unless G3588 it be G25 loving G240 one another. G3588 For the one G1063 G25 loving G3588 the G2087 other G3551 [2 the law G4137 1has fulfilled]
“And not one no one owe, whether not the one another love for the love the another different law fulfill.”
Paul bookends verses 1-7 with do’s and don’ts. He is explaining how we should live. He is explaining to the Roman Christians that paying taxes is what is required, therefore do it. Anyone who has decided that this means to obey every government official is incorrect. We are to follow the Elohim’s laws first and foremost. While governing authorities have authority over us, it is not to the end that they supersede the Elohim’s laws. Walking in love alleviates many difficulties, and that is the Elohim’s way. However where the governing bodies deviate from Elohim’s ways, we are always to walk in His ways.
What happened in Genesis with the mixing of DNA? What occurred to stop that? Is it a good idea to inject DNA from murdered humans, mice, monkeys, or dogs into humans? Probably not. Maybe the church didn’t know that this practice has gone on for fifty years. Doesn’t the church have a responsibility to teach that this is not a good idea? Satanas has boundaries. He knows that he can not altar humans to the degree that he did before the flood, so he is attempting to alter humans a different way. Humans are nothing to Satanas.
It is hard to believe that there are hirelings in the church, leading entire denominations, but there are. Many who pacify their people instead of raising them up to be warriors are hirelings. Hirelings are hired servants in the church. They get paid. Notice what Jesus said.
John 10:10 G3588 The G2812 thief G3756 comes not, G2064 G1508 except G2443 that G2813 he should steal, G2532 and G2380 should sacrifice, G2532 and G622 should destroy; G1473 I G2064 came G2443 that G2222 [2life G2192 1one should have], G2532 and G4053 [2extra G2192 1should have].
“The thief not to come except in order that steal (kleptō) and sacrifice (by fire) and destroy utterly, I come in order that life to have and beyond the regular number to have.”
The easiest way to destroy a nation is to pacify the church people; keep them calm and quiet, and encourage them not to rise up. When anyone gets upset, the hireling will say that it is their lack of faith that is the problem, not Satanas. We can wonder how many “hired servants” there are in the church who were hired by someone outside the church to be pacifiers. There are far too many.
The word thief is kleptēs meaning “a stealer”. It is a derivative of kleptō. We know that a kleptō is what we call kleptomaniac, someone who has an urge to steal and hides what he/she steals. The satan is a kleptō, he has stolen and hidden the truth about Jesus and the gospel message. But there are many people who have an urge to steal. Sometimes when a person is in a position of power, they steal. We are speaking in context of the hireling, those who are hired servants/public servants. No one hired the satan except the devil, therefore he is not the hired servant in this story.
The word sacrifice in that last verse is to “immolate” which is to “sacrifice by fire, or in general to kill”. It is the idea of offering up a sacrifice. This is huge. Sometimes hired servants intentionally allow things to take place because they are making a sacrifice. Think about riots, abortions, gender reassignments of children, fires, murders, and chaos. If we hire rulers, government officials, and pastors who agree with abortions, then they are in agreement with the sacrifice of babies. We will be oppressed as the laity. Some hired servants burn forests or allow forests to burn because they want something, but it is the laity that suffers. Some hired servants promote the mutilation of children so that they can change their gender, this too is a sacrifice. The satan has been at war with women and her seed since Genesis 3:15. Humans are life givers, while other sons of God are not. To prevent our children from living as God created them is a sacrifice to Moloch, Baal, and the satan. Again the laity suffers because of the hireling.
The word destroy is the word apollumi which means to “abolish or declare that one must be put to death”. The idea here is “fully destroyed”. Sometimes what is destroyed is a church, sometimes it is people, families, cities, or nations. Who we hire can become a thief and sell out his/her position for money. In doing so the community is destroyed, which causes the laity to suffer.
In contrast to the hireling who is a thief who steals, kills in sacrifice, and destroys, is Jesus who gives life in great measure. The comparison is that Jesus is the good shepherd. He gave life, and he gave his life for us, but the hired servant simply takes advantage of the laity. Is it for drugs and alcohol? Is it for money? Is it for position and power? A hireling can be bought. Now we can see why people teach this section of Romans 13 incorrectly. The hireling has been bought off to tell people to obey the government.
As we know there are many disciples that did not obey laws regarding government, but instead followed the laws of the Elohim.
In Israel, the government was different than today. Judaic laws were a societal law and a religious law, so that all their laws were the requirements of the nation. In Rome they had laws that were separate from their religions, which is why Jews could live amongst Pagans in Roman provinces, like the Apostle Paul did. When Peter and John healed a lame man (Acts 3) they were thrown into prison. Why? Because they healed the man in the name of Jesus.
Acts 4:1 AND WHILE they [Peter and John] were talking to the people, the high priests and the military commander of the temple and the Sadducees came upon them,
2 Being vexed and indignant through and through because they were teaching the people and proclaiming in [the case of] Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
3 So they laid hands on them (arrested them) and put them in prison until the following day, for it was already evening.
The Amplified Bible. (1987). (Ac 4:1–3). La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation.
In Jerusalem the High Priests, Roman Military Commander, and the Sadducees were the ruling authorities. Did Peter and John follow Israel’s law or did they follow the Elohim’s laws?
Acts 4:15 But having ordered [the prisoners] to go aside out of the council [chamber], they conferred (debated) among themselves,
16 Saying, What are we to do with these men? For that an extraordinary miracle has been performed by (through) them is plain to all the residents of Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.
17 But in order that it may not spread further among the people and the nation, let us warn and forbid them with a stern threat to speak any more to anyone in this name [or about this Person].
18 [So] they summoned them and imperatively instructed them not to converse in any way or teach at all in or about the name of Jesus.
19 But Peter and John replied to them, Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you and obey you rather than God, you must decide (judge).
20 But we [ourselves] cannot help telling what we have seen and heard.
21 Then when [the rulers and council members] had further threatened them, they let them go, not seeing how they could secure a conviction against them because of the people; for everybody was praising and glorifying God for what had occurred.
The Amplified Bible. (1987). (Ac 4:15–21). La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation.
When the ruling authorities realized that they could not secure a conviction, they told them not to use the name of Jesus, then they let Peter and John go. But Peter and John told the rulers and authorities that they would obey the Elohim.
Acts 4:19 G3588 G1161 But G* Peter G2532 and G* John G611 answering G4314 to G1473 them G2036 said, G1487 If G1342 it is just G510.2.3 G1799 before G3588 G2316 God G1473 to hearken to you G191 G3123 rather G2228 than G3588 G2316 God, G2919 you judge!
“But the Peter and John answered towards them saying ‘Whether equitable it is just in the presence of the Elohim listen you rather or the Elohim, choose’.”
These are very bold words. Peter is not a pushover. The healed man was next to Peter and John and no one could deny that a man who was forty years old and lame from birth was standing. Is it right or just to listen to the Elohim or to listen to the men who were the rulers and authorities? Peter challenged them to choose. Choose who you listen to. Anyone who tells you that Romans 13 says you have to obey the government above the Elohim is wrong. Choose.
In Philippi Paul and Silas met Lydia who was already a believer. She along with other women were by a river. This was a place of prayer. Paul spoke to the women at the river and then baptized Lydia. Paul and Silas then stayed at Lydia’s house. Paul and Silas went to the river again which was a place of prayer but something strange started happening.
Acts 16:16 As we were on our way to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who was possessed by a spirit of divination [claiming to foretell future events and to discover hidden knowledge], and she brought her owners much gain by her fortunetelling.
17 She kept following Paul and [the rest of] us, shouting loudly, These men are the servants of the Most High God! They announce to you the way of salvation!
18 And she did this for many days. Then Paul, being sorely annoyed and worn out, turned and said to the spirit within her, I charge you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her! And it came out that very moment.
Paul was annoyed. He cast out the demon that was speaking through her. Now this caused her employers to make a citizens arrest.
Acts 16:19 But when her owners discovered that their hope of profit was gone, they caught hold of Paul and Silas and dragged them before the authorities in the forum (marketplace), [where trials are held].
20 And when they had brought them before the magistrates, they declared, These fellows are Jews and they are throwing our city into great confusion.
21 They encourage the practice of customs which it is unlawful for us Romans to accept or observe!
Philippi was a Roman province. The people were saying that casting out a demon is an unlawful practice. More people joined in the beatings and the rulers tore Paul and Silas’ clothes and called for more beatings.
Acts 16:22 The crowd [also] joined in the attack upon them, and the rulers tore the clothes off of them and commanded that they be beaten with rods.
23 And when they had struck them with many blows, they threw them into prison, charging the jailer to keep them safely.
24 He, having received [so strict a] charge, put them into the inner prison (the dungeon) and fastened their feet in the stocks.
25 But about midnight, as Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the [other] prisoners were listening to them,
What? Praying and singing? Their feet were in stocks and they were praying and singing. All because Paul cast out a demon.
Acts 16:26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the very foundations of the prison were shaken; and at once all the doors were opened and everyone’s shackles were unfastened.
27 When the jailer, startled out of his sleep, saw that the prison doors were open, he drew his sword and was on the point of killing himself, because he supposed that the prisoners had escaped.
28 But Paul shouted, Do not harm yourself, for we are all here!
29 Then [the jailer] called for lights and rushed in, and trembling and terrified he fell down before Paul and Silas.
30 And he brought them out [of the dungeon] and said, Men, what is it necessary for me to do that I may be saved?
31 And they answered, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ [give yourself up to Him, take yourself out of your own keeping and entrust yourself into His keeping] and you will be saved, [and this applies both to] you and your household as well.
The Amplified Bible. (1987). (Ac 16:16–31). La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation.
Paul and Silas got the jailer saved as well as his entire household. Then the magistrates sent police to the jailers house to let Paul and Silas go. Paul knew the law. He knew they were unlawfully imprisoned. He stood up against their unlawful beating and detention.
Acts 16:35 But when it was day, the magistrates sent policemen, saying, Release those fellows and let them go.
36 And the jailer repeated the words to Paul, saying, The magistrates have sent to release you and let you go; now therefore come out and go in peace.
37 But Paul answered them, They have beaten us openly and publicly, without a trial and uncondemned, men who are Roman citizens, and have thrown us into prison; and do they now thrust us out secretly? No, indeed! Let them come here themselves and conduct us out!
38 The police reported this message to the magistrates, and they were frightened when they heard that the prisoners were Roman citizens;
39 So they came themselves and [striving to appease them by entreaty] apologized to them. And they brought them out and asked them to leave the city.
40 So [Paul and Silas] left the prison and went to Lydia’s house; and when they had seen the brethren, they warned and urged and consoled and encouraged them and departed.
The Amplified Bible. (1987). (Ac 16:35–40). La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation.
The politicians/magistrates apologized after they found out Paul and Silas were Roman citizens. Remember the lady’s employers called them Jews, but they were also Romans. The magistrates were upset because they beat Roman citizens and technically the magistrates were supposed to be punished the same way that Paul and Silas had been. Paul knew the law. The idea that we are to blindly follow government authorities is nonsense. We may suffer for our stand, but eventually with singing and praying it will all work out.
Do we know the laws of our own nation? Do we know what our rights are? Peter knew the laws of Israel but he broke them in order to do the Elohim’s will.
Acts 10:25 As Peter arrived, Cornelius met him, and falling down at his feet he made obeisance and paid worshipful reverence to him.
26 But Peter raised him up, saying, Get up; I myself am also a man.
27 And as [Peter] spoke with him, he entered the house and found a large group of persons assembled;
28 And he said to them, You yourselves are aware how it is not lawful or permissible for a Jew to keep company with or to visit or [even] to come near or to speak first to anyone of another nationality, but God has shown and taught me by words that I should not call any human being common or unhallowed or [ceremonially] unclean.
The Amplified Bible. (1987). (Ac 10:25–28). La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation.
Peter knew that he was breaking the law just to visit Cornelius’ house because Judaism is a law and a religion. It may not have been against the societal laws of the Romans, but Peter was also living under Judaic law. But ultimately Peter lived under the Elohim’s law. Notice how Peter relied on what God showed him and taught him rather than Judaic or Roman law. We see then that the Elohim’s laws can supersede our societal or religious laws. We see by Peter’s second example that we have the freedom to choose to follow the Elohim even in contradiction to society or religion.
The word unlawful is the word athemitos meaning “illegal”, “illicit”, or “criminal”. Understanding that Peter was committing a criminal act by going to Cornelius’ house changes our thinking about what the Elohim thinks is right. The Elohim showed Peter in a vision to commit a criminal act. We cannot reconcile this to Romans 13 if we forget that the context of Romans 13 is paying taxes.
Jeremiah was thrown into prison several times. Why? Because he prophesied. The vassal king did not like what Jeremiah said. Yet even when the priests and prophets tried to have him murdered for prophesying, Yahweh saved him over and over.
Jeremiah 26:8 Now when Jeremiah had finished speaking all that the Lord had commanded him to speak to all the people, the priests and the [false] prophets and all the people seized him, saying, You shall surely die!
9 Why have you prophesied in the name of the Lord, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh [after the ark of the Lord had been taken by our enemies] and this city [Jerusalem] shall be desolate, without inhabitant? And all the people were gathered around Jeremiah in the [outer area of the] house of the Lord.
10 When the princes of Judah heard these things, they came up from the king’s house to the house of the Lord and sat down in the entry of the New Gate of the house of the Lord.
11 Then the priests and the prophets said to the princes and to all the people, This man is deserving of death, for he has prophesied against this city, as you have heard with your own ears.
The Amplified Bible. (1987). (Je 26:8–11). La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation.
Jeremiah was imprisoned during Babylon’s siege during Zedekiah’s reign which was the second wave of captivity, Jeremiah 32-33. Babylon had already installed Zedekiah as a vassal and then as Babylon came into the second captivity they feared Egypt and backed off. Jeremiah was imprisoned again, Jeremiah 37. Yet while in prison Jeremiah still prophesied the words of Yahweh, even though those prophecies kept him in prison. Jeremiah then prophesies that those who go into Babylon will live. We know that they did, they were the marked people. Jeremiah also said that those who stayed in Judah would die by the sword, and they did, Jeremiah 38. This landed Jeremiah into a pit. Some speculate it was a dung pit, where they disposed of the contents of the chamber pots. They had to lower him down with ropes. After Jeremiah was taken out of the pit he was again imprisoned. By the time of the third captivity, Jeremiah was set free.
Lamentations 3:53 They [thought they had] destroyed my life in the dungeon (pit) and cast a stone [over it] above me. [Jer. 38.]
54 The waters ran down on my head; I said, I am gone.
55 I called upon Your name, O Lord, out of the depths [of the mire] of the dungeon. [Jer. 38:6.]
56 You heard my voice [then]: [Oh] hide not Your ear [now] at my prayer for relief.
57 You drew near on the day I called to You; You said, Fear not. [James 4:8.]
58 O Lord, You have pleaded the causes of my soul [You have managed my affairs and You have protected my person and my rights]; You have rescued and redeemed my life!
The Amplified Bible. (1987). (La 3:53–58). La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation.
As we think about Jeremiah (who was constantly defying the vassal king Zedekiah by prophesying what Yahweh said rather than what the king wanted to hear), we see that as Judah was falling, the people were feeling the pains of this war. During the third captivity into Babylon we see Jeremiah’s lament. The first half of his lament regarding the condition of Judah is similar to where we are in our western nations today.
Lamentations 5:1 O LORD, [earnestly] remember what has come upon us! Look down and see our reproach (our national disgrace)!
2 Our inheritance has fallen over to strangers, our houses to foreigners.
We see this happening in several countries where mass migration is changing the population and the demographics. Strangers or aliens are overtaking western countries for the benefits that those countries provide, but not in support of those countries laws. The aliens pay little to no taxes but the citizens do.
Lamentations 5:3 We have become orphans and fatherless; our mothers are like widows.
The lab created pandemic was an opportunity to put sickly people into nursing homes which multiplied the death count. Many people lost loved ones.
Lamentations 5:4 We have had to pay money to drink the water that belongs to us; our [own] wood is sold to us.
We pay for water now but remember what happened a few years ago when a company put profits ahead of people and contaminated the peoples drinking water because they continued to use old lead pipes? We also have to pay for our heating. Instead of being energy independent we have become dependent on our enemies.
Lamentations 5:5 Our pursuers are upon our necks [like a yoke]; we are weary and are allowed no rest.
Who is the enemy who wants to be a global superpower? Who is taxing us to give free services to people who are not citizens? This is not just happening in one nation but in several nations in western civilization. It seems coordinated. Our enemies, who are the greatest polluters the world has ever seen, put tax burdens on western nations so that they must use clean energy, yet they themselves refuse to comply.
Lamentations 5:6 We have given the hand [as a pledge of fidelity and submission] to the Egyptians and to the Assyrians [merely] to get food to satisfy [our hunger].
We are relying on the enemy nation for our own food, fertilizer, and fuel. How did the enemy orchestrate this? Who are the vassals in our governments? Who are those in our government that are working for our enemy?
Lamentations 5:7 Our fathers sinned and are no more, and we have borne their iniquities. [Isa. 65:7; Jer. 16:11–12; 31:29; Ezek. 18:2–4.]
The forefathers who were the leaders, rulers, and politicians, orchestrated this, and now this present generation in Judah is reaping their destruction. It was planned, however as Ezekiel tells us, we do not bear the sin of our Fathers. There is no longer a generational sin. However we suffer the consequences of our forefathers actions. While Yahweh does not hold us responsible for their sins, we suffer. The sin is held to each individual’s account, but the consequence of sin burdens everyone.
Lamentations 5:8 Servants and slaves rule over us; there is none to deliver us out of their hands. [Neh. 5:15.]
Non citizens are now our rulers. We work for their benefit. We supply non-citizens with food, housing, and medical benefits, while we pay for our own food, housing, and medical benefits.
Lamentations 5:9 We get our bread at the peril of our lives because of the sword of the wilderness [the wild Arabs, who may attack if we venture into the fields to reap our harvests].

On the horizon, those who will soon be considered “second class citizens” will not be able to shop for food or receive hospital services. Why? Because of the sins of our forefathers who sold us out to another nation. Our enemy nations have vast databases with our personal and biological information. They know who is a pacified sheep and who is a warrior. The western world has the same similarities spoken of in Lamentations 5:1-9. Jeremiah defied his rulers and religious officials and prophesied what Yahweh told him to. This is for our benefit because if we are smart we can rise up and turn things around in our day. We can break the yoke of those who intend to enslave us.
If we look at numbers and benchmarks, we are nearing a world population of eight billion people. However the percentage of the number of Christians in each nation is relatively the same. Can the United States function with only one fourth of its population? Can the United Kingdom function with only fifty percent of it’s population? Satanas knows the Bible better than we do. This is why he wants us pacified by the hirelings that he installed to lead us. Satanas wants to oppress the church by using heathen nations so that we cannot hit the number required of Romans 11.
Romans 11:25 Lest you be self-opinionated (wise in your own conceits), I do not want you to miss this hidden truth and mystery, brethren: a hardening (insensibility) has [temporarily] befallen a part of Israel [to last] until the full number of the ingathering of the Gentiles has come in,

We do not have to stay silent. We do not have to follow mandates or laws that are contrary to the laws of the Elohim. We do have to know how to read in context and call out the hirelings who are paid to sell us to our enemy. Follow Elohim’s will and his laws, then follow societal laws that do not conflict with the Elohim’s laws. All our Biblical heroes were not silent, passive, and fearful, they were noisy, active, and bold.
