Have you ever read a novel that when you finally get to the end, the entire story makes sense? The Bible is one cohesive book written over a long period of time (around 1492 BCE- 90 CE) authored by one individual, scribed by many holy prophets, and even altered by some unholy false teachers. There are not two halves. We learn by taking the entire book into consideration. The Holy Spirit inspired men to write the words of this prophecy so that we can learn about the past, the present, and the future. Because each prophet’s prophecies were either not given in, or compiled in, chronological order, we have to work a bit harder to put it together. We want to explore some ideas about the Millennial Kingdom before we progress further in time. The glory will return to the temple, it will be a different temple, one that has never been built before. The glory will make all people understand why sin separates all humans from Yahweh. What will the people who were harpazo’d be doing during the time of the Millennial Kingdom? Who is the priest at Jesus’ side? And why is confession so important?
As we noted last week, Ezekiel told us the size of the Millennial temple, and told us about the Zadok/Zedek priesthood which will be ministering in the temple while the Levites will have outer court duties due to their lineage of sin. Just as Ezekiel saw the Glory of the Lord leaving the temple, he sees the Glory of the Lord in the temple again.
Ezekiel 43:3-5 (AMP)
3 And the vision which I saw was like the vision I had seen when I came to foretell the destruction of the city and like the vision I had seen beside the river Chebar [near Babylon]; and I fell on my face.
4 And the glory of the Lord entered the temple by the gate facing east.
5 Then the Spirit caught me up and brought me into the inner court, and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the temple.
Ezekiel 44:4 (AMP)
4 Then he brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple; I looked, and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord, and I fell upon my face.
The Glory resided in the temple for about 337 years alongside all kinds of defilement, including booths for male and female prostitutes, worship rituals for the stars, moon, and sun, worship of the cherubim, worship of idols, and rituals of child sacrifice and abortion. Since the time of Ezekiel the Glory of the Lord has not returned to the temple. Today there is no temple. Haggai says the glory of the latter house of the Lord will be greater than the first.
Haggai 2:7 http://ecmarsh.com/lxx/Aggaeus/index.htm 7 For thus saith the Lord Almighty; Yet once I will shake the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; 8 and I will shake all nations, and the choice portions of all the nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord Almighty. 9 Mine is the silver, and mine the gold, saith the Lord Almighty. 10 For the glory of this house shall be great, the latter more than the former, saith the Lord Almighty: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord Almighty, even peace of soul for a possession to every one that builds, to raise up this temple.
Yahweh Shaddai says he will fill the temple with glory and it will be great, mega. This time the Lord Jesus will be in the temple, and there will be no defilement there. The Zadok/Zedek priesthood will serve in the temple, and there will be sacrifices made daily. The temple will be nearly one mile square. Those who help to build the temple will have peace in their souls.
Ezekiel 39:21 http://ecmarsh.com/lxx/Jezekiel/index.htm 21 And I will set my glory among you, and all the nations shall see my judgment which I have wrought, and my hand which I have brought upon them. 22 And the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God, from this day and onwards.
23 And all the nations shall know that the house of Israel were led captive because of their sins, because they rebelled against me, and I turned away my face from them, and delivered them into the hands of their enemies, and they all fell by the sword. 24 According to their uncleannesses and according to their transgressions did I deal with them, and I turned away my face from them.
He will put his glory among them, and all the nations will see his judgment. Who will know Jesus as Yahweh, their Elohim? The House of Israel. The humans alive at that time who are heirs of Jacob, who were brought back to Israel to live during this Millennial Kingdom.

From our thirty thousand foot view, we know the satan is accusing all humans before the throne day and night. If we sin, he has an accusation against us. Sometimes the satans’ judgment is allowed to stand because of our sin. Remember the satan wanted to put his throne of judgment in the sides of the north to judge the sons of God. The satan is all about judging harshly to continue to prove his point that humans are an inferior creation compared to him. We are inferior. We don’t know all that the satan knows. We were nursed and schooled in the system of Babylon, it is a wonder we even acknowledge there is a Creator. Israel was to be separate from Babylon. Israel was to teach the world about Yahweh. We can become judgmental towards those who allowed sin into the temple after Solomon’s death, but really, we have sin in our churches today, and as Jesus told us in Revelation, he has/will snuff out any church that leads others in error. We also must remember judgment is weighed and balanced, meaning the measure we use to judge others is the measure that will be used to judge us. The Glory is what settles the matter of sin. Judgment is dividing and separating, and from our earthly view, we cannot understand it.

The Lord turned his countenance from them. Who was Israel’s enemy? The satan who set up the system of Babylon, the Mother of harlots who nurtured the world into her system, to which everyone drank. Everyone. Israel was supposed to live in direct contradiction to Babylon’s system. In the end we know by hindsight that Babylon overtook the Israelites, and Israel was corrupted.
Stephen, Paul, and the writer of Hebrews all tell us something interesting. They all say the heirs of Jacob received the Law which was ordained and delivered by angels, but they didn’t obey it.
Acts 7:51-53 (AMP)
51 You stubborn and stiff-necked people, still heathen and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you are always actively resisting the Holy Spirit. As your forefathers [were], so you [are and so you do]!
52 Which of the prophets did your forefathers not persecute? And they slew those who proclaimed beforehand the coming of the Righteous One, Whom you now have betrayed and murdered—
53 You who received the Law as it was ordained and set in order and delivered by angels, and [yet] you did not obey it!
The angels delivered the Law. It was appointed throughout the instrumentality of angels. The Law is an authentic message proved and sure, given by angels to humans for an age. The Law was given until the coming of Jesus, the Righteous One.
Galatians 3:19 (AMP)
19 What then was the purpose of the Law? It was added [later on, after the promise, to disclose and expose to men their guilt] because of transgressions and [to make men more conscious of the sinfulness] of sin; and it was intended to be in effect until the Seed (the Descendant, the Heir) should come, to and concerning Whom the promise had been made. And it [the Law] was arranged and ordained and appointed through the instrumentality of angels [and was given] by the hand (in the person) of a go-between [Moses, an intermediary person between God and man].
Again the Law was given until the Seed, the Heir, would come.
Hebrews 2:2-3 (AMP)
2 For if the message given through angels [the Law spoken by them to Moses] was authentic and proved sure, and every violation and disobedience received an appropriate (just and adequate) penalty,
3 How shall we escape [appropriate retribution] if we neglect and refuse to pay attention to such a great salvation [as is now offered to us, letting it drift past us forever]? For it was declared at first by the Lord [Himself], and it was confirmed to us and proved to be real and genuine by those who personally heard [Him speak].
The Law was declared by the Lord, and it was confirmed and proved to be real and genuine by those who personally heard Him speak. Every violation and disobedience on the part of the nation of Israel received an appropriate penalty. The Glory in the Millennial Kingdom will also reveal the stiff-necked, uncircumcised in heart, heathen, religious leaders, who resisted the Holy Spirit, just as their forefathers did. They will be exposed and have no part in the Millennial Kingdom. They should have known and understood the prophecies.
Because of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Jacob’s heirs, Israel, was to lead the world to Yahweh. We will look at that in a moment, but make a mental note here; Israel was not being punished to keep the laws, instead the laws would keep them free from the satan’s judgment. The laws were given to separate Israel from Babylon, so that Israel would not become like Babylon. Three men learned the ways of Yahweh and their heirs were to benefit by being in covenant with Yahweh. But Israel broke the covenant. The glory of the Lord will expose this reality to everyone. Look at Zechariah.

ἱερεύς
hiereus hee-er-yooce' From G2413; a priest (literally or figuratively) KJV Usage: (high) priest.
Here in Zechariah we have a section where Jesus/Joshua the high priest is a shadow and type of the coming Messiah, who just happens to also be named Jesus/Joshua. There are two plays on words here, Jesus and rising. Jesus the high priest in the temple of Zerubbabel and Jesus the Messiah. Jesus the Messiahs’ name is Rising. Jesus the Messiah also rises. By the time Stephen was about to be stoned, people should have made this connection. In Zechariah 3:8 the Lord states to Jesus/Joshua the high priest that the Lord will bring His servant rising, Anatolē. Jesus is the Day Star, Venus, the one who rises in the morning, Phosphorus. The satan is Hesperus, the one who rises in the evening, also known as Venus. Jesus is the bright and morning star.
Revelation 22:16 (KJV)
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
This one book, the Bible, authored by the Holy Spirit, scribed by holy men of God who were moved along by the Holy Spirit, over the course of 1,582 years, does not leave out any details. Jesus will build the House of the Lord and take authority. He will have a priest on his right hand, and a peaceable wisdom will exist between both Jesus and this priest. Who is this priest? Melchizedek. The King of Salem (peace, later called Jerusalem), is Lord of the Zedek/Zadok priesthood, the priests who will serve in the Millennial Temple.
Hebrews 7:11 (AMP)
11 Now if perfection (a perfect fellowship between God and the worshiper) had been attainable by the Levitical priesthood—for under it the people were given the Law—why was it further necessary that there should arise another and different kind of Priest, one after the order of Melchizedek, rather than one appointed after the order and rank of Aaron?
The Zedek order was in existence before the Levitical order. The Zedek/Zadok order will serve in the temple because as Ezekiel told us, the Levites defiled the temple. Melchizedek is an eternal priest’ Hebrews 7:3-ff, meaning he lives as priest continuously. Who is he and what can we learn about him?
Hebrews 7:1 (AMP)
1 FOR THIS Melchizedek, king of Salem [and] priest of the Most High God, met Abraham as he returned from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,
Melchizedek was the one who met Abraham. This was not the first time they had met, as we will see. This man we named Melchizedek also had another title. Both Melchizedek and Adonizedek are titles, yet he has a name.
Jasher 16:11 https://www.sacred-texts.com/chr/apo/jasher/16.htm 11 And Adonizedek king of Jerusalem, the same was Shem, went out with his men to meet Abram and his people, with bread and wine, and they remained together in the valley of Melech.
12 And Adonizedek blessed Abram, and Abram gave him a tenth from all that he had brought from the spoil of his enemies, for Adonizedek was a priest before God.
Adoni means Lord, Adoni-zedek is Lord of the Zedeks or Lord of Righteousness. The Zedeks/Zadoks are righteous priests. Adonizedek lived in the valley of Melech, Melchi-zedek. Who was Melchizedek? Shem, son of Noah. This is not the same Adonizedek from the later time of Joshua, that was a different king. Don’t confuse the two. To further understand this, let’s see who Abraham lived with.
5 And when Abram came out from the cave, he went to Noah and his son Shem, and he remained with them to learn the instruction of the Lord and his ways, and no man knew where Abram was, and Abram served Noah and Shem his son for a long time.
Abraham learned from Noah and Shem. Shem and his grandson Eber had a school in Melech, the valley of Salem, where Isaac and Jacob both went to learn the ways of the Lord.
5 My son Isaac is grown up and he has not for some time studied the service of his God, now tomorrow I will go and bring him to Shem, and Eber his son, and there he will learn the ways of the Lord, for they will teach him to know the Lord as well as to know that when he prayeth continually before the Lord, he will answer him, therefore there he will know the way of serving the Lord his God.
And after Sarah died, Isaac went to learn from Shem and Eber.
Jasher 24:17 And when the days of their mourning passed by Abraham sent away his son Isaac, and he went to the house of Shem and Eber, to learn the ways of the Lord and his instructions, and Abraham remained there three years.
Isaac sent Jacob to the house of Shem and Eber. Jacob was there for thirty two years. So when the Bible says Jacob was a dweller in tents, it does not mean he was a homebody or a mama’s boy. It means he served in the tents of the Lord.
Jashser 28:18 At that time Isaac sent his younger son Jacob to the house of Shem and Eber, and he learned the instructions of the Lord, and Jacob remained in the house of Shem and Eber for thirty-two years, and Esau his brother did not go, for he was not willing to go, and he remained in his father's house in the land of Canaan.
Jacob was around 21 when he bought Esau’s birthright. Jacob was in the tents of the Lord when Esau needed food. Jacob was around 50 when he got Esau’s blessing. Now think of this. Esau had no intention of serving the Lord, but Jacob did. Rebecca knew that Jacob should be blessed as if he was the first born because he served the Lord, while Esau had taken two foreign wives and lived for himself. Who was living under Babylon and who was living under Yahweh?
Jasher 28:24 And it came to pass in those days, in the hundred and tenth year of the life of Isaac, that is in the fiftieth year of the life of Jacob, in that year died Shem the son of Noah; Shem was six hundred years old at his death.
25 And when Shem died Jacob returned to his father to Hebron which is in the land of Canaan.
When Jacob was fifty, Shem died. Pay attention to Jacob’s age. How old was he? 50. Jacob later became distorted to be thought of as a trickster and a liar, because Jacob was schooled under the Zedek/Zadok priesthood. The Zedeks and the Levites had contentions regarding defilement after the kingdom split. Later the Pharisees, who followed in the ways of the Levites, were at odds with the Zedeks when Jonathan Apphus was appointed high priest, yet he was not of Aaron’s lineage. That was a defilement to the temple. David merged the priesthoods with good intentions, as did Solomon, but Jonathan Apphus (Maccabee) was another defilement. The Zedek/Zadok priesthood and the prophets later became known as the Essenes/Nazarenes/Therapeutaes. Who defiled the temple? The Levites. Who will serve in the Millennial Temple? The Zedek/Zadok priesthood. It should be noted that Shem’s priesthood is not by lineage it is by heart.
Now we understand the eternal priest Melchizedek, Shem, the one who schooled Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This is why Jacob’s heirs were honored as a people in covenant with Yahweh, yet Jacob’s heirs annulled the covenant as Ezekiel 39:23 tells us. Israel was to be separate from Babylon but they became merged with Babylon. In the Millennial Temple Jesus will reign and Melchizedek will be the priest and there will be other priests there as well. Let’s ask the question, where are the harpazo’d saints during the Millennial Kingdom?

The saints are singing about being redeemed and being made kings and priests. Under what order do the saints become priests, the Levitical order or the Melchizedek order? Now don’t get too far ahead. The saints take part in the Millennial Kingdom with their new bodies, not as earthlings with earthly bodies but with the type of new body that can’t be killed as Joel told us when the saints come to earth on the Day of the Lord. Notice what Jesus said.

anastasis an-as'-tas-is From G450; a standing up again, that is, (literally) a resurrection from death (individual, general or by implication (its author)), or (figuratively) a (moral) recovery (of spiritual truth) KJV Usage: raised to life again, resurrection, rise from the dead, that should rise, rising again.
In the resurrection, when the dead in Christ rise, they will put on incorruption, and they will be like the angels. Didn’t some angels rain fire and brimstone on Sodom and Gomorrah while other angels warned Lot and made the perverse Sodomites blind? Didn’t Jacob see angels ascending to heaven from earth and descending from heaven to earth? Didn’t angels minister to Jesus in the desert? Isn’t it within the realm of angelic order to keep Jesus from harm as the devil taunted? Didn’t Jesus say he could have twelve legions of angels if he wanted? Luke says something similar.
Luke 20:34-39 (AMP)
34 And Jesus said to them, The people of this world and present age marry and are given in marriage;
35 But those who are considered worthy to gain that other world and that future age and to attain to the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage;
36 For they cannot die again, but they are angel-like and equal to angels. And being sons of and sharers in the resurrection, they are sons of God.
37 But that the dead are raised [from death]—even Moses made known and showed in the passage concerning the [burning] bush, where he calls the Lord, The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
38 Now He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to Him all men are alive [whether in the body or out of it] and they are alive [not dead] unto Him [in definite relationship to Him].
39 And some of the scribes replied, Teacher, you have spoken well and expertly [so that there is no room for blame].
The ones raised from the dead are sons of God, they are equal to angels. Jesus said when He comes in His glory he is coming with whom?
Matthew 25:31 (AMP)
31 When the Son of Man comes in His glory (His majesty and splendor), and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
He is coming with all the holy angels, the harpazo’d saints who all have new bodies, and the martyred during the tribulation. The martyred saints who lived during the tribulation are part of the first resurrection as well because of their confession of Jesus as Lord, they will live and reign with Christ for one thousand years as priests.
Revelation 20:6 (KJV)
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Notice what Paul tells us about being raised from the dead.
1Corinthians 15:12-58 (AMP)
12 But now if Christ (the Messiah) is preached as raised from the dead, how is it that some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not risen;
14 And if Christ has not risen, then our preaching is in vain [it amounts to nothing] and your faith is devoid of truth and is fruitless (without effect, empty, imaginary, and unfounded).
Christ’s name is what? Anatolē, Rising, or Day Spring. Jesus led the way of the rising for the saints and martyrs.
1Corinthians 15:20 But the fact is that Christ (the Messiah) has been raised from the dead, and He became the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep [in death].
The order is Christ then the first fruits, the saints and martyrs, then those who are Christs’ at his parousia, His arrival, on the Day of the Lord. Those are the people who did not take the mark of the beast or worship his image.
1 Corinthians 15:23 But each in his own rank and turn: Christ (the Messiah) [is] the firstfruits, then those who are Christ's [own will be resurrected] at His coming.
Then, after those resurrections comes the telos the fulfillment.
1Corinthians 15:24 After that comes the end (the completion), when He delivers over the kingdom to God the Father after rendering inoperative and abolishing every [other] rule and every authority and power.
25 For [Christ] must be King and reign until He has put all [His] enemies under His feet.
26 The last enemy to be subdued and abolished is death.
When we finish the one thousand years with Jesus ruling and reigning, the great white throne judgment will take place, then death will become entirely useless.
1Corinthians 15:35 But someone will say, How can the dead be raised? With what [kind of] body will they come forth?
We also might ask what kind of flesh will we have? The flesh decays but then it is raised a supernatural spiritual body.
1Corinthians 15:42 So it is with the resurrection of the dead. [The body] that is sown is perishable and decays, but [the body] that is resurrected is imperishable (immune to decay, immortal).
43 It is sown in dishonor and humiliation; it is raised in honor and glory. It is sown in infirmity and weakness; it is resurrected in strength and endued with power.
44 It is sown a natural (physical) body; it is raised a supernatural (a spiritual) body. [As surely as] there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual body.
As we read about the army of the Lord from Joel, the saints who return with the Lord, on the Day of the Lord, will have awesome bodies. They will be able to run, jump, scale walls, and they will use some very sophisticated weaponry, but they will not hurt themselves or be able to die. Everyone who follows the beast on the earth will die, but the army of the Lord is imperishable. Paul also says this:
1Corinthians 15:50 But I tell you this, brethren, flesh and blood cannot [become partakers of eternal salvation and] inherit or share in the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable (that which is decaying) inherit or share in the imperishable (the immortal).
The word “flesh” here is a different word from the word “body” of verse 44. Sōma means “body as a whole body”, but sarx means “flesh stripped of skin, or just the meat”. There is no meat and no blood entering the kingdom of God, only spiritual bodies. That is where the saints will be awaiting the Day of the Lord. When the Millennial Kingdom comes to earth there will be earthly people, and spiritual people.
1Corinthians 15:51 Take notice! I tell you a mystery (a secret truth, an event decreed by the hidden purpose or counsel of God). We shall not all fall asleep [in death], but we shall all be changed (transformed)
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the [sound of the] last trumpet call. For a trumpet will sound, and the dead [in Christ] will be raised imperishable (free and immune from decay), and we shall be changed (transformed).
53 For this perishable [part of us] must put on the imperishable [nature], and this mortal [part of us, this nature that is capable of dying] must put on immortality (freedom from death).
54 And when this perishable puts on the imperishable and this that was capable of dying puts on freedom from death, then shall be fulfilled the Scripture that says, Death is swallowed up (utterly vanquished forever) in and unto victory.
55 O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?
For the saints in Christ, there is no longer a victory for death. We don’t die; we live, alive, just as Jesus said God is the God of the living, Matthew 22, Luke 20. If, as Jesus said, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are living, than anyone who dies in Christ is simply waiting along with all the other saints to put on incorruption or immortality. Then, as Jesus also said, we are like the angels. The saints are overcomers, called as kings and priests, and a few other things. Let’s review the messages to the overcomers.
Revelation 2:7 (AMP)
7 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and give heed to what the Spirit says to the assemblies (churches). To him who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant to eat [of the fruit] of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
Where does the overcomer eat from? The tree of life in Paradise. Earth is earth, Heaven is heaven, and Paradise is paradise. Eating from the tree of life means one lives forever.
Revelation 2:11 (AMP)
11 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the Spirit says to the assemblies (churches). He who overcomes (is victorious) shall in no way be injured by the second death.
The overcomer is not harmed by the second death. Revelation 20:6 just told us that the second death has no authority over those who partake in the first resurrection. The second death is the when death and Hades are thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 21:8 gives us a laundry list of who will partake in the second death.
Revelation 2:17 (AMP)
17 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the Spirit says to the assemblies (churches). To him who overcomes (conquers), I will give to eat of the manna that is hidden, and I will give him a white stone with a new name engraved on the stone, which no one knows or understands except he who receives it.
Those who overcome as these people do will be judges in the Millennial Kingdom. They will have a special unique name and title.
Revelation 2:26-29 (AMP)
26 And he who overcomes (is victorious) and who obeys My commands to the [very] end [doing the works that please Me], I will give him authority and power over the nations;
27 And he shall rule them with a sceptre (rod) of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, and [his power over them shall be] like that which I Myself have received from My Father;
28 And I will give him the Morning Star.
29 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the [Holy] Spirit says to the assemblies (churches).
These overcomers will have jurisdiction over the nations. They will be rulers over the people in the Millennial Kingdom. They will break the cracked pots, the problem people who are in sin. Notice what they will have, the Morning Star. They will have illumination that will shine forth announcing Jesus. It is interesting that these people are among the nations, shining Jesus to them, not within Israel. So there are positions outside of Israel for the harpazo’d saints who overcome.
Revelation 3:5-6 (AMP)
5 Thus shall he who conquers (is victorious) be clad in white garments, and I will not erase or blot out his name from the Book of Life; I will acknowledge him [as Mine] and I will confess his name openly before My Father and before His angels.
6 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the [Holy] Spirit says to the assemblies (churches).
The people who overcome in this way will be announced before the Father and have new clothes. They won’t be erased from the book of Life. Their clothes seem to be like a security detail, or military staff for the Millennial Kingdom.
Revelation 3:12-13 (AMP)
12 He who overcomes (is victorious), I will make him a pillar in the sanctuary of My God; he shall never be put out of it or go out of it, and I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which descends from My God out of heaven, and My own new name.
13 He who can hear, let him listen to and heed what the Spirit says to the assemblies (churches).
These overcomers will have a heavenly position in the temple. They will not be on the earth, but in heaven during the Millennial Kingdom. They have three names written on them, the Father’s name, Jesus’ name, and the name of the New Jerusalem, the New Heaven and New Earth.
Revelation 3:21-22 (AMP)
21 He who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant him to sit beside Me on My throne, as I Myself overcame (was victorious) and sat down beside My Father on His throne.
22 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the [Holy] Spirit says to the assemblies (churches).
Here are overcomers who will sit with Jesus as judges in the Millennial Kingdom. Remember that there will be sins and sacrifices, and the need for judges. These supernatural saints will judge alongside Jesus.
Who is Jesus telling us sent these messages to the church? The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit wrote the Bible, and these letters to the overcomers are for us so that we may know what is available in the Millennial Kingdom. This puts a different perspective on our role in the Millennium. The author of the book wants us to know that we are important and necessary for the Lord Jesus. The Holy Spirit has also built the story from start to finish, but we can’t understand it unless we put it all together. In other words, the end explains the beginning.
Our positions are like the angels. The supernatural saints will be keeping Jesus’ rule and law throughout the earth. Jesus is the one who rose, and His name is Rising, or Day Spring. The resurrection is not really a mystery as Jesus has already risen, we are simply going to follow and put on incorruption and immortality. We will have supernatural bodies, no flesh or blood. We will have things to do in heaven while the tribulation takes place on the earth, then we will come back with Jesus to help establish His Kingship.
The priesthood of Zadok/Zedek is not by blood, but by heart, like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Melchizedek is an eternal priest, who serves alongside Jesus. The martyred saints will be priests in this house of the Lord. What a spectacular Kingdom this will be. The Glory of the Lord will fill the temple and His glory will incinerate the satan. At the end of the Millennium the heirs of Jacob will see how their sins separated them from Jesus and that it was not Jesus who broke the covenant with them, but they who broke the covenant with Him.
Remember this from back in May? “The kingdom of the cosmos is birthed to the supreme authority of Christos and the Kings’ reign is age to age.” Jesus will reign as king forever and once he puts all enemies under him, and destroys death and Hades, he will turn the kingdom over to the Father. Now the people of Jesus’ kingdom will be holy and ready for something else. There will be a new heaven and a new earth.
