The seventh trumpet announced that the kingdom of the cosmos is birthed to the supreme authority of Christos and that the Kings’ reign is age to age. Remember that we do not know what the thunders said, but now Jesus is king of the cosmos from age to age. The Elders, who have probably been waiting for this day with great anticipation, now begin to worship Theos/Elohim. They speak what things will be taking place at this time. Rewards are given to the prophets, saints, and to those who fear Him, while those who have corrupted the earth are about to be destroyed. The temple of heaven will open at this time, and the saints and martyrs will see what is inside the temple.
In our timeline, we are at the halfway point in the seven years of tribulation. The seals and trumpets are now finished, the two witnesses have spent their three and one half years on the earth and watched the coronation of Jesus.

The Elders now fall down in reverence and they have something important to say. The announcement of Christos being coronated as King of the Cosmos from age to age was just made, and the Elders come out of their chairs in reverence. They give thanks and speak of the next events.

Kurios Theos/Yahweh Elohim, the Almighty, who was and is, and is coming. We have seen this phrase used of Jesus and the Father. It is a phrase that exemplifies I Am or I Exist. In other words, both the Father and the Son can be called I AM.
Revelation 1:4 (AMP)
4 John to the seven assemblies (churches) that are in Asia: May grace (God's unmerited favor) be granted to you and spiritual peace (the peace of Christ's kingdom) from Him Who is and Who was and Who is to come, and from the seven Spirits [the sevenfold Holy Spirit] before His throne,
Revelation 1:8 (AMP)
8 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord God, He Who is and Who was and Who is to come, the Almighty (the Ruler of all).
Revelation 4:8 (AMP)
8 And the four living creatures, individually having six wings, were full of eyes all over and within [underneath their wings]; and day and night they never stop saying, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty (Omnipotent), Who was and Who is and Who is to come.
The phrase “who was, who is, and who is coming”, is evident of a Lord who is ever present, ever existent, and who will always be alive. The Father and the Son have always been, and will always be. If we consider how Abraham prophesies of Jesus as the I AM, which is who Jesus said he was to the Pharisees, we understand that our Elohim have been eternal. I Am that I Am, I Exist. Let’s also consider what Barnabas wrote regarding Abraham prophesying of Jesus from a previous blog.
Barnabas 8:10 Understand therefore, children, these things more fully, that Abraham, who was the first that brought in circumcision, looking forward in the Spirit to Jesus, circumcised, having received the mystery of three letters. 11 For the Scripture says that Abraham circumcised three hundred and eighteen men of his house. But what therefore was the mystery that was made known unto him? 12 Mark, first the eighteen, and next the three hundred. For the numeral letters of ten and eight are I H. And these denote Jesus. 13 And because the cross was that by which we were to find grace; therefore he adds, three hundred; the note of which is T (the figure of his cross). Wherefore by two letters he signified Jesus, and by the third his cross. 14 He who has put the engrafted gift of his doctrine within us, knows that I never taught to any one a more certain truth; but I trust that ye are worthy of it.
As we have studied the Aleph and Tav, we learned that over 11,000 times a sign was given to the writers and readers of the scrolls. They were to look for the “A-Z”, the Alpha and Omega, the first and last, the beginning and the end. Aleph in the Paleo Hebrew, the first letter or symbol which Moses wrote in, was an ox head, meaning the strong man or strong one. Tav the last letter or symbol was a cross, meaning marker or sign. People were to look for the strong man on the cross, is one way to observe it. http://musingsofawinsomeheart.blogspot.com/2013/10/the-choice-aleph-and-tav-part-1-of.html
The “I” and the “H” are Greek letters. The Hebrew letters, were “Y” and “H”. That translates as “YaH” which is “I AM” or “I am myself, the one”. Now add the “T”, the sign or marker of the cross, and you have “I AM” along with the cross, or “I AM on the cross”. This is something that the first century church knew. It was a knowledge that has been hidden and kept secret from the 21st century church. http://musingsofawinsomeheart.blogspot.com/2014/05/ancient-understanding-of-law-abraham.html
If Abraham prophesied of the Lord by recording how many people were circumcised, we can see that this was something they could understand by looking backward. Sometimes prophecy is understanding when looking backward instead of foreknowledge. Nonetheless, the first century believers knew this and understood it, and Barnabas probably preached this as well as wrote it.
The Elders are worshipping and thanking. This is not a past tense event, the translators added “ed” to the word reign to make it past tense. It is a present tense event; Jesus now reigns. The Elders would not be communicating as if his reign is over, it is just starting. The Elders continue in their speech regarding Jesus’ reign.
Revelation 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
Let’s take this verse apart so we can understand it more clearly.
And the nations were angry,
and thy wrath is come,
and the time of the dead,
that they should be judged,
and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants
the prophets, and to
the saints, and
them that fear thy name,
small and great;
and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
There is a lot here to understand. We have to look at each point because every point has a purpose and a time frame.

The ethnos were enraged. What do they have to be angry about? The seals and trumpets have caused chaos on the earth. They can no longer control what takes place on the earth. There are around 2.5 billion people left on the earth (in round numbers). The nations became angry that Jesus is now reigning and God is stretching out His wrath on them. We are about to head into the bowl judgements, the time the Father will now afflict men. Remember the seals are men killing men, the affliction is with men who want to dominate other men. The trumpet judgments are the wrath of the Lamb in the form of natural disasters. The earth is groaning and travailing, and the earth is bringing the judgments. Next the Father will pour out the bowls directly on men. Again the seals are men afflicting men after the harpazo. The trumpets are natural disasters causing afflictions on men. The bowls will be the father afflicting men.

Who are the dead? They are the ones who were not redeemed before the harpazo and the ones not martyred after the harpazo. The dead are judged but not sentenced. The dead are the Jesus rejecters. They are the people who did not want to see Jesus crowned as King over the kingdoms of the cosmos. Maybe they made a deal with the satan like the fallen angels did. Or maybe they believed the satan had the keys to death and hades. The dead will stay in Hades for one thousand years until the white throne judgment.

There is an interesting point here. Those who are frightened of Jesus, not just his name but his reputation, whether micro or mega, will be rewarded as well. Jesus is giving out rewards to the servants who are prophets and holy ones. He also rewards those who fear Him. This is the day the saints receive rewards. These rewards are in addition to the overcomer rewards upon entering Paradise. He doesn’t tell us what the rewards are, but we know we were redeemed and will be made kings and priests. We know we will receive crowns, and we know our earthly works will be tried by fire.

As Romans tells us, the earth is in agony over those who pervert, decay, and ruin it. Sin spreads disease throughout all creation. Sin does not only affect people but the entire creation, and those who intentionally corrupt creation will be destroyed.
Romans 8:22 (KJV)
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
The creation will be healed when the sons of God are revealed on the
Day of the Lord, Romans 8:19. We know that there are some people who intentionally rape the earth. Isaiah considers these people the children of the satan. If we go back and look at the characteristics of the satan in Isaiah, we see he is credited for making the world a wilderness.
Isaiah 14:15-17 But now thou shalt go down to hell, even to the foundations of the earth. 16 They that see thee shall wonder at thee, and say, This is the man that troubled the earth, that made kings to shake; 17 that made the whole world desolate, and destroyed its cities; he loosed not those who were in captivity. http://ecmarsh.com/lxx/Esaias/index.htm
Who created the earth? The Lord and the Holy Spirit. It is fitting that the trumpet judgments which are referred to as the “wrath of the Lamb”, are natural disasters on the earth. It is as if the earth is angry and fighting against the men left on the earth for the harm these people have caused.
Proverbs 8:22-31 (AMP)
22 The Lord formed and brought me [Wisdom] forth at the beginning of His way, before His acts of old.
23 I [Wisdom] was inaugurated and ordained from everlasting, from the beginning, before ever the earth existed.
24 When there were no deeps, I was brought forth, when there were no fountains laden with water.
25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills, I was brought forth,
26 While as yet He had not made the land or the fields or the first of the dust of the earth.
27 When He prepared the heavens, I [Wisdom] was there; when He drew a circle upon the face of the deep and stretched out the firmament over it,
28 When He made firm the skies above, when He established the fountains of the deep,
29 When He gave to the sea its limit and His decree that the waters should not transgress [across the boundaries set by] His command, when He appointed the foundations of the earth—
30 Then I [Wisdom] was beside Him as a master and director of the work; and I was daily His delight, rejoicing before Him always,
31 Rejoicing in His inhabited earth and delighting in the sons of men.
What we see is that the satan took what Yahweh and the Holy Spirit created and he wasted it. The earth, gē, was made for mankind. It was to be a beautiful place in which humans would be blessed. But it was not only the satan who corrupted the earth, but the satan’s children as well.
Isaiah 14:20-21 As a garment defiled with blood shall not be pure, so neither shalt thou be pure; because thou hast destroyed my land, and hast slain my people: thou shalt not endure for ever, —thou an evil seed. 21 Prepare thy children to be slain for the sins of their father; that they arise not, and inherit the earth, nor fill the earth with wars. 22 And I will rise up against them, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will destroy their name, and remnant, and seed: thus saith the Lord. http://ecmarsh.com/lxx/Esaias/index.htm
If we look closely at the satan’s rule and judgment (remember he wanted to put his throne of judgement on the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north to judge the heavenly sons of God), we see a similar behavior in the Pharisees. As we have studied previously, the way of the Pharisees is judging good and evil. Their entire focus is on good and evil, the same sin of knowledge as in the garden. Enoch enlightens us a bit further.
The Book of the Secrets of Enoch XXIX.
Here Satanail with his angels was thrown down from the height.
3 And one from out the order of angels, having turned away with the order that was under him, conceived an impossible thought, to place his throne higher than the clouds above the earth, that he might become equal in rank to my power.
4 And I threw him out from the height with his angels, and he was flying in the air continuously above the bottomless. http://www.sacred-texts.com/bib/fbe/fbe136.htm
Now that the seventh trumpet has sounded and the seals and trumpet judgments have been concluded, we see the temple in heaven open. Let’s remember where we are. We are listening to the twenty four Elders reciting what is happening at this time period. They are prostrate around the throne. Enoch saw the throne of God in the seventh heaven.
The Book of the Secrets of Enoch XX.
Hence they took Enoch into the Seventh Heaven.
AND those two men lifted me up thence on to the seventh Heaven, and I saw there a very great light, and fiery troops of great archangels, incorporeal forces, and dominions, orders and governments, cherubim and seraphim, thrones and many-eyed ones, nine regiments, the Ioanit stations of light, and I became afraid, and began to tremble with great terror, and those men took me, and led me after them, and said to me:
2 'Have courage, Enoch, do not fear,' and showed me the Lord from afar, sitting on His very high throne. For what is there on the tenth heaven, since the Lord dwells here?
3 On the tenth heaven is God, in the Hebrew tongue he is called Aravat.
4 And all the heavenly troops would come and stand on the ten steps according to their rank, and would bow down to the Lord, and would again go to their places in joy and felicity, singing songs in the boundless light with small and tender voices, gloriously serving him.

Of how the angels here left Enoch, at the end of the seventh Heaven, and went away from him unseen.
AND the cherubim and seraphim standing about the throne, the six-winged and many-eyed ones do not depart, standing before the Lord's face doing his will, and cover his whole throne, singing with gentle voice before the Lord's face: 'Holy, holy, holy, Lord Ruler of Sabaoth, heavens and earth are full of Thy glory.’…….
6 And Gabriel caught me up, as a leaf caught up by the wind, and placed me before the Lord's face.
7 And I saw the eighth Heaven, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Muzaloth, changer of the seasons, of drought, and of wet, and of the twelve signs of the zodiac, which are above the seventh Heaven.
8 And I saw the ninth Heaven, which is called in Hebrew Kuchavim, where are the heavenly homes of the twelve signs of the zodiac.
XXII.
In the tenth Heaven the archangel Michael led Enoch to before the Lord's face.
ON the tenth Heaven, Aravoth, I saw the appearance of the Lord's face, like iron made to glow in fire, and brought out, emitting sparks, and it burns.
2 Thus I saw the Lord's face, but the Lord's face is ineffable, marvellous and very awful, and very, very terrible.
3 And who am I to tell of the Lord's unspeakable being, and of his very wonderful face? And I cannot tell the quantity of his many instructions, and various voices, the Lord's throne very great and not made with hands, nor the quantity of those standing round him, troops of cherubim and seraphim, nor their incessant singing, nor his immutable beauty, and who shall tell of the ineffable greatness of his glory?
4 And I fell prone and bowed down to the Lord, and the Lord with his lips said to me:
5 'Have courage, Enoch, do not fear, arise and stand before my face into eternity.'
6 And the archistratege Michael lifted me up, and led me to before the Lord's face.
Now on earth let’s look at what Moses was told regarding seeing the face of Yahweh.
Exodus 33:18-20 (AMP)
18 And Moses said, I beseech You, show me Your glory.
19 And God said, I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim My name, THE LORD, before you; for I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy and loving-kindness on whom I will show mercy and loving-kindness.
20 But, He said, You can not see My face, for no man shall see Me and live.
On earth no man can see His face and live. Clearly there are many things that we do not understand about the heavens, and especially the temple in heaven. At the time of Enoch there was no temple or tabernacle on the earth, there was no ark or stone tablets. We do know that the earthly temple was made in the likeness of the heavenly one.
Hebrews 8:5 (AMP)
5 [But these offer] service [merely] as a pattern and as a foreshadowing of [what has its true existence and reality in] the heavenly sanctuary. For when Moses was about to erect the tabernacle, he was warned by God, saying, See to it that you make it all [exactly] according to the copy (the model) which was shown to you on the mountain.
Moses saw a copy of the heavenly tabernacle on the mountain. At this time Moses records what is to be recreated on the earth.
Revelation 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

3485 LSJ Gloss:ναός the dwelling of a god, a temple
Dodson:ναός a temple, shrine a temple, a shrine, that part of the temple where God himself resides.
Thayer:
1) used of the temple at Jerusalem, but only of the sacred edifice (or sanctuary) itself, consisting of the Holy place and the Holy of Holies (in classical Greek it is used of the sanctuary or cell of the temple, where the image of gold was placed which is distinguished from the whole enclosure)
2) any heathen temple or shrine
3) metaph. the spiritual temple consisting of the saints of all ages joined together by and in Christ

διαθήκη
diathēkē dee-ath-ay'-kay From G1303; properly a disposition, that is, (specifically) a contract (especially a devisory will)KJV Usage: covenant, testament.
In the heavenly temple there is the ark of the covenant, or ark of the testimony. It is like the one Moses instructed people to build for holding the stone tablets, the contract between God and men. Here in heaven we do not know if the same testament is inside the chest or a new testament is inside the chest. We don’t know if there is anything in there at all. But we do know that there is one of these boxes whose likeness was recreated on the earth for use in the tabernacle. And there is also a temple of the Living God.
Then we see that there were all kinds of things happening; lightning, sounds, thunders, and hail. There is a lot of commotion going on in heaven.

5456 LSJ Gloss:χάλαζαhail
Dodson:χάλαζαhail.
Thayer:
χάλαζα, -ης, ἡ, (χαλάω, q. v. [so Etym. Magn. 805, 1; but Curtius (§ 181) says "certainly has nothing to do with it"]), fr. Hom. down, Sept. for בָּרָד, hail: Rev. viii. 7; xi. 19; xvi. 21.*
1) hail
χάλαζα
chalaza khal'-ad-zah Probably from G5465; hail KJV Usage: hail.
We can understand lightnings and thunders in heaven as we have studied the seven thunders and the idea that there is electrical charge in the heavens. But we also have hail, frozen stones, either large or small. There is no good answer for this. There was hail prior to the exodus and hail at the first trumpet, but this is occurring in the heavenly temple. Why would it hail in or near the heavenly temple? Enoch may give us a clue.
The Book of the Secrets of Enoch XXXVII.
Here God summons an angel.
AND the Lord called up one of the older angels, terrible and menacing, and placed him by me, in appearance white as snow, and his hands like ice, having the appearance of great frost, and he froze my face, because I could not endure the terror of the Lord, just as it is not possible to endure a stove's fire and the sun's heat, and the frost of the air.
2 And the Lord said to me: 'Enoch, if thy face be not frozen here, no man will be able to behold thy face.’ http://www.sacred-texts.com/bib/fbe/fbe144.htm
To answer why hail in the heavenly temple we have to ask why frozen water? Just before Enoch was to return to the earth for thirty days his face was frozen. Isn’t this similar to what happened to Moses? No one could look at him because his face was so bright? Yet Moses didn’t see His face, only the tablets.
Exodus 34:29 (AMP)
29 When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tables of the Testimony in his hand, he did not know that the skin of his face shone and sent forth beams by reason of his speaking with the Lord.
Exodus 34:29 And when Moses went down from the mountain, there were the two tables in the hands of Moses, —as then he went down from the mountain, Moses knew not that the appearance of the skin of his face was glorified, when God spoke to him. http://ecmarsh.com/lxx/Exodus/index.htm
There seems to be something so intensely holy about the face of the Almighty that humans as well as other spiritual beings have to be cooled down or covered over before connecting with those who have not been in the presence of the Lord. Those not in the presence of the Lord cannot look upon the face of those who are glorified by His presence. That would seem to be the reason for frozen water in heaven. Now if the veil of frozen water is broken apart because all those in heaven can now look upon the Lords face unveiled and the temple is opened for at least this moment in time, we have come to a turning point in our spiritual journey. Just as the veil was rent from top to bottom when Jesus died on the cross, the way into the presence of the Lord is now fully known to the saints and martyrs in heaven. The key event is Jesus Christ, crowned King of the cosmos into the eons. Remember what Moses did?
Exodus 40:20-21 (AMP)
20 He took the Testimony [the Ten Commandments] and put it into the ark, and set the poles [in the rings] on the ark, and put the mercy seat on top of the ark.
21 [Moses] brought the ark into the tabernacle and set up the veil of the screen and screened the ark of the Testimony, as the Lord had commanded him.
Leviticus 16:2 (AMP)
2 The Lord said to Moses, Tell Aaron your brother he must not come at all times into the Holy of Holies within the veil before the mercy seat upon the ark, lest he die; for I will appear in the cloud on the mercy seat.
There were rules to follow into the presence of the Lord. Aaron and his sons were given guidelines for entering in. Jesus opened up the way into the Holy of Holies. Today, as Paul reminds us, we have the ability through repentance to behold the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, and to change from glory to glory.
2 Corinthians 3:7-18 (AMP)
7 Now if the dispensation of death engraved in letters on stone [the ministration of the Law], was inaugurated with such glory and splendor that the Israelites were not able to look steadily at the face of Moses because of its brilliance, [a glory] that was to fade and pass away,
8 Why should not the dispensation of the Spirit [this spiritual ministry whose task it is to cause men to obtain and be governed by the Holy Spirit] be attended with much greater and more splendid glory?
9 For if the service that condemns [the ministration of doom] had glory, how infinitely more abounding in splendor and glory must be the service that makes righteous [the ministry that produces and fosters righteous living and right standing with God]!
10 Indeed, in view of this fact, what once had splendor [the glory of the Law in the face of Moses] has come to have no splendor at all, because of the overwhelming glory that exceeds and excels it [the glory of the Gospel in the face of Jesus Christ].
11 For if that which was but passing and fading away came with splendor, how much more must that which remains and is permanent abide in glory and splendor!
12 Since we have such [glorious] hope (such joyful and confident expectation), we speak very freely and openly and fearlessly.
13 Nor [do we act] like Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze upon the finish of the vanishing [splendor which had been upon it].
14 In fact, their minds were grown hard and calloused [they had become dull and had lost the power of understanding]; for until this present day, when the Old Testament (the old covenant) is being read, that same veil still lies [on their hearts], not being lifted [to reveal] that in Christ it is made void and done away.
15 Yes, down to this [very] day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies upon their minds and hearts.
16 But whenever a person turns [in repentance] to the Lord, the veil is stripped off and taken away.
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).
18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.
The children of God will see the Father in his glory. The children of God will see the temple open. There will be no veil and there will be no ice. They will watch as Jesus is crowned. They will be rewarded for their service on the earth. The children of God are having a wonderful time in heaven while the children of wrath are struggling on the earth. The children of wrath are the sons of the satan and they are responsible for the corruption on the earth. The Almighty, the one who is ever existent, is being revealed to the saints in heaven and will soon be revealed on the earth to the ire of the two and one half billion left.
Before we see what happens with the bowl judgments, John takes us on a few parenthetical journeys and will tell us what the thunders said.
