Sixth Trumpet; 4 Bound Angels; Lion-headed Horses; the Non-Repentant

When we look at the sixth trumpet we see humanity engaging in some very serious sin. It is hard for people to imagine the depravity of what the Bible tells us because we have trouble looking at these things from the perspective of a world where there are no Christians. But for those who have looked into satanic cults and their practices, we see that these things are right in line with what those people do today. The difference in the world of our day, compared to the future time of the sixth trumpet, is that there are many people on the earth who value human life. Many people are concerned for children and the elderly, and many people endeavor to make life better for others today. This will not be the case by this time of the sixth trumpet. To pinpoint this place in time during Revelation, we have not come to the halfway or mid-point of the tribulation, or about three and one half years. We know this because our two witnesses are on the earth for three and one half years and they have not been killed yet. The witnesses come to earth when the saints are harpazo’d, and they stick around for three and one half years. So in timing we are close to the three and one half year mark, but have not passed it yet. There is a very important event that does mark the three and one half year point and we will study that soon, but to keep our perspective straight, we are nearing the halfway point.

To look at this point in time in a rational way, lets assume that within the next year the harpazo occurs. I’m not saying it will, but for a clearer look at numbers and what they mean, let’s assume these numbers to be about right and keep them rounded for ease of use. Today there are over 7 billion people on the earth. The most recent pew research suggests there are 2.3 billion Christians world wide. That number could be high or low, many people do not answer research questions in certain countries because it may mean persecution and loss of life. So we will round that number to 2 billion. If 2 billion people are raptured that leaves 5 billon people on the earth. During the 4th seal as we saw previously, one fourth of the population will be killed by Death and Hades, or around 1.25 billion; which brings the earth’s population to 3.75 billion. Now at the time of the fifth seal we see people martyred under the altar, then we see multitudes of martyrs. Since we don’t have an estimate of those numbers we will leave them out; but suffice to say there may be around 3.75 billion people on the earth. At the time of the 6th trumpet, one third of the population is killed. That would be about 1.25 billion killed. Now you can say that there are around 2.5 billion people left on the earth. Isn’t it wonderful how numbers tell a story that is so practical and so simple?

Just for perspective, in the year 2030 it is projected that there will be over 8 billion people on the earth, and in 2050 over 9 billion people on the earth. While analysts project a decreasing fertility rate we have to assume world religions increase in numbers as well. We could use the same percentage increase (32% of the total population is Christian) for Christianity and adjust our findings to those years for a look at what the tribulation might look like population wise in 2030 or 2050.

It is easy to see that the world population during the tribulation is decreasing, and this does not include multitudes of martyrs or those killed under the altar, or any average sinner that has been killed. This also makes a very strong point, very loud and very clear. There is no possible way the saints can go through the tribulation. If anyone believes the Christian saints could possibly be here at this point in time they simply cannot do basic math and read the scripture. Other than the numbers testifying against that idea, we will see that those who are on earth after the sixth trumpet, practice a very different religion. Let’s explore.

Revelation 9:13-21 (KJV)
And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

Revelation 9:13 G2532 And G3588 the G1622 sixth G32 angel G4537 trumped; G2532 and G191 I heard G5456 [2voice G1520 1one] G1537 from G3588 the G5064 four G2768 horns G3588 of the G2379 [2altar G3588   G5552 1golden], G3588 of the one G1799 before G3588   G2316 God,

We saw this altar at the seventh seal, the altar of incense which is before the Father. The altar of sacrifice was covered in brass, the altar of incense was covered in gold. We do not see an altar of sacrifice in heaven, only an altar of incense. This is where the prayers and praises of the saints have been stored and then hurled to earth.

Revelation 9:14  Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

Revelation 9:14 G3004 saying G3588 to the G1622 sixth G32 angel, G3588 the one G2192 having G3588 the G4536 trumpet, G3089 Loose G3588 the G5064 four G32 angels G3588   G1210 being bound G1909 at G3588 the G4215 [2river G3588   G3173 1great] G* Euphrates!

We studied this section a few years back.

If we look to Enoch once again we may be able to understand these four angels who have been bound in the Euphrates. The sixth angel with the sixth trumpet releases these beings.

Enoch 6:1. And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. 2. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.' 3. And Semjâzâ, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.' 4. And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.' 5. Then sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. 6. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. 7. And these are the names of their leaders: Sêmîazâz, their leader, Arâkîba, Râmêêl, Kôkabîêl, Tâmîêl, Râmîêl, Dânêl, Êzêqêêl, Barâqîjâl, Asâêl, Armârôs, Batârêl, Anânêl, Zaqîêl, Samsâpêêl, Satarêl, Tûrêl, Jômjâêl, Sariêl. 8. These are their chiefs of tens.

Maybe four of these angels were bound over the river Euphrates and the rest are in the second heaven. We know Azazel was buried under rocks and is the reason there is a scapegoat offering. These four angels who were loosed are being prepared, or made ready, to kill one third of men.

Revelation 9:15  And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

Revelation 9:15 G2532 And G3089 [4were loosened G3588 1the G5064 2four G32 3angels], G3588 the ones G2090 being prepared G1519 for G3588 the G5610 hour, G2532 and G2250 day, G2532 and G3376 month, G2532 and G1763 year, G2443 that G615 they should kill G3588 the G5154 third G3588   G444 of men.

We haven’t gotten to the mid point of the tribulation yet and the population of earth is rapidly declining. These angels that were bound have a job to do. We may not understand this, but the Lord has bound these angels in the river Euphrates for thousands of years. Remember the earth is cleansing itself, it is getting rid of these bound angels and they are ready to kill men, but not by themselves, they have an army.

Revelation 9:16  And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

Revelation 9:16 G2532 And G3588 the G706 number G3588 of the G4753 military G3588 of the G2462 horses -- G3461 myriads G3461 of myriads; G2532 and G191 I heard G3588   G706 their number. G1473

ἀκούω
akouō ak-oo'-o A primary verb; to hear (in various senses)KJV Usage: give (in the) audience (of), come (to the ears), ([shall]) hear (-er, -ken), be noised, be reported, understand.

The King James implies that the number is two hundred million (200 thousand thousand), but the Greek says myriads of myriads which is one hundred million (ten thousand ten thousands). Although you could say with  horse and riders we equal two hundred million. John heard and comprehended this number. It is an army of at least 100,000,000. Who are the one hundred million? We don’t know, but we can guess that if the disobedient angels who were bound were from the time of the days of Jared, who cohabited with earthly women, these one hundred million may be the offspring of those unions. In other words, they could be the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim. 100,000,000 go out to kill 1.25 billion which means those beings in this army kill 1,250 each. These killings are not instant, they take time. Jubilees explains.

 X.  And in the third week of this jubilee the unclean demons  began to lead astray †the children of†  the sons of Noah; and to make to err and destroy them. 2. And the sons of Noah came to Noah their father, and they told him concerning the demons which were, leading astray and blinding and slaying his sons' sons. 3. And he prayed before the Lord his God, and said:
God of the spirits of all flesh, who hast shown mercy unto me,
And hast saved me and my sons from the waters of the flood,
And hast not caused me to perish as Thou didst the sons of perdition;
For Thy grace hath been great towards me,
And great hath been Thy mercy to my soul;
Let Thy grace be lift up upon my sons,
And let not wicked spirits rule over them
Lest they should destroy them from the earth.
4. But do Thou bless me and my sons, that we may increase and multiply and replenish the earth. 5. And Thou knowest how Thy Watchers, the fathers of these spirits, acted in my day: and as for these spirits which are living, imprison them and hold them fast in the place of condemnation, and let them not bring destruction on the sons of thy servant, my God; for these are malignant, and created in order to destroy. 6. And let them not rule over the spirits of the living; for Thou alone canst exercise dominion over them. And let them not have power over the sons of the righteous from henceforth and for evermore." 7. And the Lord our God bade us to bind all. 8. And the chief of the spirits, Mastêmâ, came and said: "Lord, Creator, let some of them remain before me, and let them hearken to my voice, and do all that I shall say unto them; for if some of them are not left to me, I shall not be able to execute the power of my will on the sons of men; for these are for corruption and leading astray before my judgment, for great is the wickedness of the sons of men." 9. And He said: "Let the tenth part of them remain before him, and let nine parts descend into the place of condemnation." 10. And one of us He commanded that we should teach Noah all their medicines; for He knew that they would not walk in uprightness, nor strive in righteousness. 11. And we did according to all His words: all the malignant evil ones we bound in the place of condemnation, and a tenth part of them we left that they might be subject before Satan on the earth. 12. And we explained to Noah all the medicines of their diseases, together with their seductions, how he might heal them with herbs of the earth. 13. And Noah wrote down all things in a book as we instructed him concerning every kind of medicine. Thus the evil spirits were precluded from (hurting) the sons of Noah. 14. And he gave all that he had written to Shem, his eldest son; for he loved him exceedingly above all his sons.

Ninety percent of the disembodied spirits were bound in the place of condemnation. Is it possible that they are let out to join the one tenth of the demons on the earth to kill humans on the earth?

Revelation 9:17  And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

These beings are very strange, but the horses are even stranger. Beings of some kind ride the horses, and wear breastplates that shine like fire, but are blue and sulfur. They probably smell like sulphur as well. The horses look like lions and fire comes out of the horses’ mouths along with smoke and brimstone. Let’s look at this sulphur a little closer.

Genesis 19:24 And the Lord rained on Sodom and Gomorrha brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven.

To understand what was happening in Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, here are some past blogs.

This is not the first time sulphur is used on the earth. Moses says “another generation shall say”, what generation is this?

Deuteronomy 29:22 And another generation shall say—even your sons who shall rise up after you, and the stranger who shall come from a land afar off, and shall see the plagues of that land and their diseases, which the Lord has sent upon it, 23 brimstone and burning salt, (the whole land shall not be sown, neither shall any green thing spring, nor rise upon it, as Sodom and Gomorrha were overthrown, Adama and Seboim, which the Lord overthrew in his wrath and anger:)— 24 and all the nations shall say, Why has the Lord done thus to this land? what is this great fierceness of anger? 25 And men shall say, Because they forsook the covenant of the Lord God of their fathers, the things which he appointed to their fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt: 26 and they went and served other gods, which they knew not, neither did he assign them to them.

Moses is making a covenant between the people and Yahweh. Moses just finished telling them what would happen to them if they forsook Yahweh. If they break this covenant, there will be a future time when they will be harmed with sulphur like Sodom. We know what the cities of the plains look like today, Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim. They look like a waste land along the Dead Sea. We recognize that the Dead Sea is filled with salt and minerals and is unique due to the destruction that took place when fire and brimstone rained down. This future generation is still future. The nations, the Goyim, the people who make up the saints, will say in the future, ‘why has Yahweh done this?’ The answer is because they forsook the covenant of Yahweh Elohim which he made with their fathers when they came out of Egypt. This is why there is a tribulation time on the earth. David mentions the same thing.

Psalm 11:4 The Lord is in his holy temple, as for the Lord, his throne is in heaven: his eyes look upon the poor, his eyelids try the sons of men. 5 The Lord tries the righteous and the ungodly: and he that loves unrighteousness hates his own soul. 6 He shall rain upon sinners snares, fire, and brimstone, and a stormy blast shall be the portion of their cup. 7 For the Lord is righteous, and loves righteousness; his face beholds uprightness.

We know this is still future as it has not happened yet. Only the region of Sodom has been harmed with brimstone. This time however the brimstone does not come from the sky. Instead, out of the mouths of horses, which have lion heads, comes the fire and brimstone.

Revelation 9:18  By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

Revelation 9:18 G575 From G3588   G5140 [2three G4127 3plagues G3778 1these] G615 were killed G3588 the G5154 third G3588   G444 of men, G1537 by G3588 the G4442 fire, G2532 and G1537 by G3588 the G2586 smoke, G2532 and G3588 of the G2303 sulphur G3588   G1607 going forth G1537 out of G3588   G4750 their mouths. G1473

Notice that the four angels are released, then an army of one hundred million goes out on horses to kill humans. But it is not the beings riding the horses that kill humans, but the lion headed horses themselves.

Revelation 9:19  For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

Revelation 9:19 G3588 For the G1063   G1849 authority G3588 of the G2462 horses G1722 [2in G3588   G4750 3their mouth G1473   G1510.2.3 1is] G2532 and G1722 in G3588   G3769 their tails; G1473   G3588   G1063 for G3769 their tails G1473   G3664 are likened G3789 to serpents, G2192 having G2776 heads; G2532 and G1722 by G1473 them G91 they injure.

adikeō ad-ee-keh'-o From G94; to be unjust, that is, (actively) do wrong (morally, socially or physically) KJV Usage: hurt, injure, be an offender, be unjust, (do, suffer, take) wrong.

Just as the locust in verse 3 were given power, and just as the scorpions have power today, these horses will have power as well. The exousia of the horses is in their mouths and tails. This is odd as it infers front and back authority. While the scorpions and locusts have exousia in their tails, behind them, these lion headed horses have exousia coming and going. Notice that their tails have serpents that injure people. In front they breathe fire smoke and brimstone, and in back their tails physically injure as well.

3789 LSJ Gloss:ὄφις a serpent, snake
Dodson:ὄφιςa serpent a serpent, snake; used of the devil or Satan.
Thayer:
1) snake, serpent
2) with the ancients, the serpent was an emblem of cunning and wisdom. The serpent who deceived Eve was regarded by the Jews as the devil.

ὄφις
ophis of'-is Probably from G3700 (through the idea of sharpness of vision); a snake, figuratively (as a type of sly cunning) an artful malicious person, especially Satan KJV Usage: serpent.

If we step back for a moment, these creatures almost sound like the tales we hear of dragons who breath fire and have long tails that swat things. In stories like Beowulf, the Legend of Smok Wawelski, and Saint George and the Dragon, we see heroes fighting these beasts. While the Hebrew calls Seraphim fiery serpents, the Greek does not call them fiery but just serpents. Enoch records many different beings besides Phoenixes and Chalkydri. There are many interesting and curious sons of God. Are these horses like the Chalkydri? We don’t know, but what we do know is that they have riders, they are not independent, and they are under the command of the four angels that were released from the Euphrates.

Of the very marvellous elements of the sun.
12:AND I looked and saw other flying elements of the sun, whose names are Phoenixes and Chalkydri, marvellous and wonderful, with feet and tails in the form of a lion, and a crocodile's head, their appearance is empurpled, like the rainbow; their size is nine hundred measures, their wings are like those of angels, each has twelve, and they attend and accompany the sun, bearing heat and dew, as it is ordered them from God.

Hence they took Enoch into the Seventh Heaven.
20:1 AND those two men lifted me up thence on to the seventh Heaven, and I saw there a very great light, and fiery troops of great archangels, incorporeal forces, and dominions, orders and governments, cherubim and seraphim, thrones and many-eyed ones, nine regiments, the Ioanit stations of light, and I became afraid, and began to tremble with great terror, and those men took me, and led me after them, and said to me:
2 'Have courage, Enoch, do not fear,' and showed me the Lord from afar, sitting on His very high throne. For what is there on the tenth heaven, since the Lord dwells here?

Since we have no definite answers as to these lion headed horses and their riders we can gain a broader perspective if we look at other types of beings created by the Living God. What we do know for sure is that the four angels who were bound are now loosed and they have command over this one hundred million lion headed horse army which has power in its mouth and tail. The tail of the horse is the same word as the serpent in Genesis 3.

There is a point here we must explore. Jesus gave Christians exousia over serpents. If we have exousia over serpents can the saints possibly be on the earth? If the saints were on the earth the authority and power of the saints would resist the power of the horse with the serpent tail.

Luke 10:19 G2400 Behold, G1325 I give G1473 to you G3588 the G1849 authority G3588   G3961 to tread G1883 upon G3789 serpents G2532 and G4651 scorpions, G2532 and G1909 upon G3956 all G3588 the G1411 power G3588 of the G2190 enemy; G2532 and G3762 nothing G1473 [3you G3766.2 1in any way G91 2shall injure].

The saints overcome all the dunamis of the enemy and nothing shall injure them. If one third of the people are going to be killed (estimating 1.25 billion people), the saints cannot be among them. This is another reason we know the saints are not on the earth but in heaven at this time. If the saints were on the earth they would be repenting for everything and anything. That is what saints do, repent. The saints would be on their knees repenting for the past, the present, and the future. However, the men who were not killed by this army of creatures do not repent. The Saints always repent, but the people left do not repent.

Revelation 9:20  And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

Revelation 9:20 G2532 And G3588 the G3062 rest G3588 of the G444 men G3739 who G3756 were not G615 killed G1722 by G3588   G4127 these calamities G3778   G3756 repented not G3340   G1537 from G3588 the G2041 works G3588   G5495 of their hands,…

We haven’t even gotten to the midway point of the tribulation yet and there are only 2.5 billion people left on the planet. 144,000 virgin males who have never lied are sealed and not harmed and are still on the earth. If the Pew Research tells us that there are 2.3 billion Christians on the earth we have a serious problem here because the people who are left now do not repent but worship demons. If the Christians “go through” the tribulation they must all be worshipping demons because they have the power and authority to overcome the lion headed horses. We can see how silly it is for people to believe that the Living God is going to punish the saints by making them go through the tribulation. It is even sillier to believe that the saints would all of a sudden be worshipping the devil. The numbers don’t bear out this mistaken philosophy and clearly prove this to be an error, especially combined with scripture. So in round numbers, if the harpazo were to occur soon or in our present time, at this point in the tribulation 2.5 billion people will be left on earth, not repenting of their worshipping of demons.

These demons and idols cannot see, hear, or walk. Isn’t it strange that the humans left on earth at this time have no problem worshipping inanimate objects when we just saw the people killed were killed by lion headed horses? Instead of worshipping the strange beings coming to earth that do see, hear, and walk, as well as take commands from the four angels and their riders, these people are worshipping statues that they made themselves. Not only do they not repent of this, they do not repent for murdering, practicing  witchcraft, sexual immorality, or stealing.

These 2.5 billion people do not repent from phonos, pharmakeia, porneia, and klemma. If we remember from Genesis 9, men are not to kill men and the blood of murdered humans must be avenged. Pharmakeia in it’s simplest form is witchcraft because it is manipulation, whether using drugs to manipulate the body, using words to manipulate people, or using force to manipulation a situation, it is all about manipulation. Sexual perversities such as rape and incest will be taking place at this time as well as stealing from others. Zechariah 14 tells us that women will be ravished or tainted, meaning raped. But don’t be fooled, men, women, and children will all be raped because that is the culture of those left on the earth. We have not even gotten to the time of the mark of the beast, nor the mid-point of the tribulation, and the world is so evil with no one repenting, but instead these people become more and more evil.

Suppose people take hallucinogenics and worship these demons and idols with sexual rituals practiced on adults and children, then preform adult and child sacrifices. What if they kidnap others (steal people) for their ritual practices? The devil already inspires human trafficking today, it is not so out of the realm of possibilities that these four sinful practices all revolve around this type of religion, which is already being practiced on the earth.  At this time the devil has not been cast out of the heavens, and the beast and the false prophet have not made their appearance yet. The earth is ripe and ready for the unholy trinity to show up as they will falsely promise that the chaos will stop once the witnesses are killed and a new world order is established.

The 144,000 are close to their harpazo. Jesus will be coming for them soon. Are they all hidden in one place or are they hidden and scattered over the earth? We don’t know. We see that those who are left on the earth are not repenting and that is in no way characteristic of Christians or Martyrs. Therefore, whatever the number of people left on the earth at this time, they are hardened and evil, not children of the Living God. This is why the tribulation continues.
