We are appointed to two positions in the future heavenly above (epi) gathering (sunagoge). One position will be as rulers or kings, the other position will be as priests. If there are going to be priests there will have to be a temple. There is a heavenly temple and there will be a future earthly temple. We may have the mindset that when we enter heaven we are floating on clouds playing a harp, but that will not be what we will be doing. We have to explore the heavenly temple which is a future event for all believers because we understand so little of it today. There are special promises made for some in the future that we should be able to communicate to one another. In the near future there will be an earthly temple as well. There are some specifics to that temple we should also be able to communicate to others.
There are four categories of people who are made special promises for the future heavenly temple, the saints or holy ones, the overcomer, the barren, and the eunuch. Solomon tells us that the barren and the eunuch will be given a special gift. The barren will receive fruit in the day of the visitation of souls, or in the day that all souls are judged. This speaks of the judgment of Revelation 11 right after Jesus is crowned. Eunuchs will be given a special gift of faith and an inheritance in the temple. If people will be given an inheritance in the temple, we know that there has to be a temple available for earthly people who enter heaven.
Wisdom of Solomon 3:13-14 (KJVApocrypha) Their offspring is cursed. Wherefore blessed is the barren that is undefiled, which hath not known the sinful bed: she shall have fruit in the visitation of souls. 14 And blessed is the eunuch, which with his hands hath wrought no iniquity, nor imagined wicked things against God: for unto him shall be given the special gift of faith, and an inheritance in the temple of the Lord more acceptable to his mind.
A eunuch is not a government official only. Some people, as Jesus told us in Matthew 19, are made eunuch’s by the hands of men and some are born eunuchs, or born impotent, and Jesus says some choose to become eunuchs for the Lord. Jesus uses two different words, one meaning castrated and one meaning impotent. Impotent means a lack of ability or desire to procreate. Therefore we have to broaden our idea of what Solomon was saying. Not all eunuchs are castrated, but nonetheless, the eunuch gets a special reward, and inheritance in the temple, while the barren receives fruit. This is the future for those who have suffered on this earth, Yahweh has not forgotten them. Isaiah says that the eunuch gets to enter the Lord’s house.
Isaiah 56:3-5 (KJV) Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
4 For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
The okios is a dwelling; just as David wished to live in the okios of the Lord, the eunuch has a future in the okios of the Lord and they receive an everlasting name. Again Yahweh has not forgotten those who have suffered on this earth, he has a special future plan for them in the next age. We should rejoice.
Jesus was speaking to John and John declares that Jesus made us kings and priests. We are not kings and priests today, but one day we will be. We want to keep in mind our timing while we study or we will get mixed up. We also want to keep our pronouns straight. Solomon, Isaiah, and John are speaking about the future.

We see the pronoun “I” or in it’s plural form “us”. We could also say “we”. This is a first person reality including the saints/believers. John could have said “He made Me a king and a priest” but he was communicating that the saints will be made kings, rulers, and priests, those who make sacrifices in the future. Again this is something that will happen in the next age.
Another future promise for the overcomer is to be made a pillar in the temple.
Revelation 3:12 (KJV) Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

For those who overcome the world in this age, they are promised to be a support in the temple of the Father. When does this happen? When the new Jerusalem comes down at the end of the Millennial Kingdom of Christ. Another future guarantee is to sit with Jesus on His throne.

2362θρόνος thronos thron'-os From θράω thraō (to sit); a stately seat(“throne”); by implication power or (concretely) a potentate
KJV Usage: seat, throne.
There is something special about sitting with Jesus on his throne as He sits with the Father on the Fathers throne. It is a seat of rule and authority. These promises are future. But a bit nearer in our future is what John saw when he was called into heaven. Thrones are in existence in heaven now, and they have elders, spirits, and beasts ruling from them.
Revelation 4:2-6 (KJV) And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
We know this is the time when they were looking for someone worthy to open the scroll. The father sitting with the elders, spirits, and beasts are ready to start judgment on the earth. Only one is worthy to open the scroll. Yet there are others there watching too, we see them when we read this in it context.
Revelation 5:6 (KJV) And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. 7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
Jesus, the lamb who looks as if he was murdered, is ready to take the book/scroll, and start the events of the last seven years of this age before His millennial kingdom starts. Now this is very important. There is only one who can do this and it is Jesus. He has just called from the clouds and the saints are watching and waiting for Jesus to take the book and open it. Let’s be reminded, he looks like he was slain, murdered. He doesn’t look like the portraits we paint of him on earth, clean and fair skinned. He was looking like he had been killed. He was killed, 2,000 yrs before.
Now we have to dig deep here. We have studied this section before in detail so I will note that study here.
In this section translators translated in every imaginable way possible. They took liberties according to their own religious beliefs and it has caused great confusion. No one likes to translate this according to the Greek because it suggests something that people are afraid to believe. The harpazo has taken place and the saints are singing and praying. These are the others around the throne with the elders, beasts, and spirits.
Revelation 5:8G2532And G3753when G2983he took G3588the G975scroll, G3588the G5064four G2226living creatures G2532and G1501.8twenty-four G4245elders G4098fell G1799before G3588the G721lamb, G2192[having G1538each] G2788harps, G2532and G5357bowls G5552made of gold G1073being full G2368of incenses, G3739which G1510.2.6are G3588the G4335prayers G3588of the G39holy ones.
There is only one harp, this word is singular. There are four living creatures and twenty four elders who fall before Jesus, the lamb. They all have bowls filled with incense, which is the prayers of the saints. Remember G39 and G40 have to be deciphered by the context. These are the saints. There were no saints in the heavens until the dead in Christ rose first, and then those who remained on the earth were caught up with them. The harpazo. The earthly saints join the saints in Paradise awaiting Jesus’ call from the clouds. Then as everyone is waiting for someone to take the scroll and open it, Jesus walks forward toward the Father. The beasts and elders fall down in honor of Jesus as he takes the book. The beasts and elders are holding golden bowls of prayers from the saints that sing a new song.

KJV Usage: song.
This is part of our trouble. The word “and” should be “that”, and the word “they” is not in the text. Adding the word “they” seems to make the ones singing the beasts and elders, but the word “they” is not in the text. Therefore the ones singing are the saints. The word “sang” is in the wrong tense, it should be “sing”. At this time it is a present tense reality. The beasts and elders offer the prayers of the saints that sing a new song.
The prayers of the saints are an offering. This is not collected prayers from the beginning of time, these are collected prayers from the time the saints were harpazo’d and standing before the throne with the beasts, spirits, and elders. The saints are the above congregation, they are the ones singing new songs. They could not sing what they are singing now prior to the harpazo. They could only sing this new song when it became applicable. It is new because Jesus can now take the scroll. He hasn’t taken it yet, and when he does the saints will be praying and singing about it and what is about to take place.
Here is the song they are presently singing:

1473LSJ Gloss: ἐγώ ego
Dodson: ἐγώ I I, the first-person pronoun.
Remember our pronoun “I” or as a plural “us”? Here, these translators use the pronoun correctly as in “you bought us to God”, but change the word to a third person plural “them” which is incorrect; as in “and you made them to our God kings and priests”. John just told us in chapter 1 that he makes us kings and priests and saves us by His blood. Who is doing the singing and praying? The saints. Who can be saved by His blood? Only the saints. No other being can be saved by Jesus’ blood, only humans who believe and make Him Lord and Savior. Who is present tense singing a new song? The saints. Who is offering the prayers of the saints before the throne? The beasts and elders. Who is able to take the scroll? Jesus. Jesus paid for us, the saints, by His blood. Jesus makes the saints kings and priests. This tells us that people from all tribes, tongues, peoples, and nations are gathered before the throne watching Jesus take the book.
If we the saints are the kings and priests on the earth then during the millennial reign there will be kingdoms and there will be temples. Now we know that there will be a future temple on the earth during Jesus’ reign for one thousand years. The saints sing about the positions that they are about to take on the earth because Jesus bought them with His blood.
This also means that before the first seal is opened, the saints are watching these events from the heavens, before the throne. The saints are bought by Jesus’ blood. The saints are called up and presented before the throne of the Father. Then Jesus takes the scroll and starts to open the seals. If the saints are watching, praying, and singing, they are not on the earth. This is the job of the saints at this time, until they reign as kings and priests. However there are people on the earth, and as soon as the saints are gone, the earth will become increasingly tumultuous. Paul tells us about an event that happens on the earth which will cause many to come to the realization that Jesus is Lord and Christ.

Someone will enter into the temple of God. What temple is this? The one with the beasts, spirits, and elders? No. This is the earthly temple. This person will demonstrate to the world that he is god. How will he do this? By sitting in the temple of God behind the closed veil, in the Holy of Holies, upon the ark, above the mercy seat, and not die. Remember how the High Priest was only able to go into the Holy of Holies once a year with a blood atonement? This person will show the world that he must be the messiah because he will go into the Holy of Holies and not die. That is when people will realize he is a fake, an anti-christ.
That tells us that there will have to be a temple built on the earth in the last days of this age. Daniel tells us that the sacrifices will be made perpetually. The idea that a man can go into the Holy of Holies and not die, tells us Yahweh will not be in the temple. The rituals in the temple do not force the presence of Yahweh. No matter how many sacrifices are made. The very presence of Yahweh would kill a sinful person. Therefore Yahweh will not be in the future earthly temple. The son of perdition will then kill those who do not believe he is the messiah.

The people who first died at the altar are to rest until the time of their fellow servants and brothers are filled up in which they, their fellow servants and brothers, are about to be slain. It seems like a weird thing to suggest, to take a rest and relax until a whole bunch of people are murdered. As we have studied before, this is the bloodiest time history will ever record. There will be blood sacrifices of animals perpetually, then there will be murdered people. Not only at this point in time, remember we have only gotten to the opening of the fifth seal. (Keep in mind ordinal numbers, 1 before 2, then 3, etc, do not listen to people who change the order of the seals being opened. Yahweh is orderly and precise.) We still have the beast killing off Babylon, the city and the monetary and religious system, as well as bowl judgements, and the end war when the beast attempts to make war with the Lamb and his army of saints.
Just a side note here. We may wonder why the saints bought by Jesus’ blood are the army and not angels, or cherubim, or the other sons of God. It is our war. Certainly with two thirds of the angelic class on the side of Yahweh and one third of the angelic class on the side of the devil we might think they should just fight it out and leave us out of it. But the answer lies in the statement of fellow servants and brothers. This is an earthly war. There is no contest in heaven, no war in the higher heavens, only the lower heavens (atmosphere) and earth. The battle is earthly. It is a war which is over the percentage of people who will either receive Jesus or perish as if in a black hole for eternity. The battle is over earthly beings who became blinded when sin was found in Adam. There are millions of people on the earth who can choose life or death. The very last seven years of this age will be the bloodiest time of this earth age. Yet we have been given so much mis-information regarding death; we fear death. Jesus has the keys to both hell and death. Two places. Keys plural. We will face Jesus when we die no matter which place we have chosen. At present, Jesus will open the gates of Paradise, the gates of death, or the gates of hell, we decide. The people murdered at the altar of sacrifice because of the logos of the testimony of Christ did not end up in hell, while it may have been to their advantage to believe sooner, they made a good choice and will rest until the end of the seven years.
The beginning of chapter 11 of Revelation is a snapshot backwards to the beginning of the seven years after the harpazo and before the Lamb takes the book. The two witnesses come down when the saints go up. The temple is on the earth and the angel is measuring the temple and those worshipping in it. They are not to measure the outer court.

3961πατέω pateō pat-eh'-o From a derivative probably of G3817 (meaning a “path”); to trample (literally or figuratively)KJV Usage: tread (down, under foot).
Notice the Greek word aule. It is noted as the courtyard, but also the sheepfold. If we note the constellation of Cancer’s decons, Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, the sheepfolds, we understand this. This is a great analogy of that time period. Not only will the Jews be worshipping in the temple, the nations will also be worshiping in the outer courts. Pateo is not a bad word, the nations beat a path to the temple. Think of that. The Christians are gone, and the people of earth are faced with the realization that Yahweh is who he says he is. Where will they go? To the earthly temple. This is a near future event.
We have promises made to believing earthly humans for future events. They will be given fruits, new names, positions in the temple, made priests in the temple, they will have dwellings in the House of the Lord, and kingdoms to rule over. But first the earthly temple will be built and sacrifices made. The two witnesses come down when the earthly saints go up. This event is the calling up of the dead and living saints, harpazo. Then as they watch their Savior open the book, they will sing and pray. The earthly people will be worshipping in the temple, the nations will be in the outer courts. Then the son of perdition will sit in the Holy of Holies and not die. He will claim he is god (since he didn’t die) and kill those who do not believe him. Those who die will ask Jesus when they will receive justice but they have to wait until the time of the others about to be murdered is filled. After the seven years when Jesus reigns as King of kings and Lord of lords, the saints including the barren and the eunuch will have positions as rulers and in the temple. At the end of the Millennial Kingdom, the New Jerusalem will come down and the overcomers will receive positions as supports in the temple. There is something wildly magical about the temple that we do not presently comprehend. There are all sorts of beings there and it seems to be a place beings desire to be. The promises of Yahweh are faithful and true. They are brought to pass in orderly timing, and those prophetic words do not fall. Therefore we have been granted a look into the future promises offered to us. And it is wholly up to us to choose these promises or not. The Messiah came the first time, exactly on time, just as it was prophesied. Just because people didn’t like Jesus doesn’t mean Yahweh failed. His promises do not fail.
