The Beginning of the Spirit of Wisdom; Comprehend Sophia; Prepare in the Presence; Spirit Testifies

The Holy Spirit is active and present today, and is the manifest presence of Yahweh on the earth. The Spirit of Wisdom had an origin, or a beginning. Solomon provides those details through the Spirit of Wisdom herself. Wisdom, Sophia, is a feminine gender attribute, and has a very important hand in creation. She has also helped mankind throughout the ages. Sophia was with the adam after the fall, which is recorded in Genesis 3. She preserved him through his sin. We again find the Spirit of Wisdom is a subtle Spirit, not a hammer. Translators in the English took some liberties with the word “Spirit” changing it to “Ghost” randomly. They also changed the case sensitive nature of “Spirit”, capital “S” to a lower case “s”. The same is true for the word Wisdom. This causes confusion because we read with these “codes” of capitalization which can change the meaning of the words used.

We know from Genesis 1:2 that the Spirit of Elohim imposed, or brought upon atop the water, or bear upon above the water. This is our first action of the Spirit of Elohim. The Greeks understood Spirit as a gender neutral noun, not a proper noun, as in a breath or wind. But the Hebrews understood Spirit as a feminine gender specific noun. Therefore when we see the phrase “Spirit of Wisdom” we see feminine gender used twice.

......G2532 and G4151 spirit G2316 of God G2018 bore G1883 upon G3588 the G5204 water.

In our King James Version of the Bible, we see the word “Spirit" used randomly. It seems to depend on the translators and their beliefs about the Holy Spirit. Ninety times the King James translators used the word Ghost instead of Spirit. This leads to awkward searches, and/or search results, unless we search by the Greek word Pneuma. When we see the Greek words for “Spirit of Wisdom”, we understand this as neutral feminine. If we read “Spirit of Wisdom” in Hebrew, we understand it as feminine feminine.

We have seen the Glory of the Lord, the Spirit of the Lord, enter the temple and live alongside the corruption in the temple. We saw the progression of the Holy Spirit indwelling humans on Pentecost because Jesus made a way to eliminate our sin through His blood. Now we can have the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Wisdom, dwelling in us.

Yahweh created Sophia. She is an original work. She is in a class by herself.

Proverbs 8:22 G2962 The lord G2936 created G1473 me G746 the head G3598 of his ways G1473   G1519 for G2041 his works. G1473

Yahweh formed Sophia in the beginning of his ways among his deeds. She was at the origin of his creation. Yahweh fabricated or manufactured Sophia and he did it in the commencement or origin of the journey, or path, into his labor. In other words, Sophia was created for a specific purpose as a helper on the journey of Yahweh’s creation. She came before the existence of the world, and before the existence of the journey of creating the earth.

Proverbs8:23 G4253 Before G3588 the G165 eon G2311 he founded G1473 me G1722 in G746 the beginning, G4253 before G3588 the G3588 [2the G1093 3earth G4160 1making];

“Before the ages Yahweh laid the foundation in the beginning, before the manufacturing of the earth…”

Sophia emphasizes that before the foundations were laid, she was formed.

Proverbs 8:24 G2532 and G4253 before G3588 the G3588 [2the G12 3abysses G4160 1making]; G4253 before G3588 the G4281 coming forth G3588 of the G4077 springs G3588   G5204 of waters;

“And before the manufacturing of the unfathomable depth, before the preceding of the running waters…”

Sophia is building a timeline so that we understand that she did not come about after the earth was created, but before.

Proverbs 8:25 G4253 before G3588 [2of the G3735 3mountains G1475.4 1 the seating]; G4253 and before G1161   G3956 all G1015 the hills G1080 he engenders G1473 me.

Before the mountains were settled, but before all the hills, Yahweh gave birth to Sophia. This is a beautiful story. She was the origin of his creation, she was before all things, not an afterthought. She was birthed.

Proverbs 8:26 G2962 The lord G4160 made G5561 regions, G2532 and G516.2 uninhabited places, G2532 and G206.1 uttermost parts G3611 of the inhabitable world G3588   G5259 under G3772 the heavens.

“Yahweh manufactured lands and uninhabitable and extremes inhabitable from under heaven.”

Yahweh made the land, the uninhabitable parts and the inhabitable parts. Yahweh made the earth the way he made it.

Proverbs 8:27 G2259 When G2090 he prepared G3588 the G3772 heaven, G4840 I was present with G1473 him, G2532 and G3753 when G873 he separated G3588   G1438 his G2362 throne G1909 upon G417 the winds;

“At which time made ready the heavens I am present together with him and when he set off by boundaries his throne on wind…”

When Yahweh made the lower heavens Sophia was there. When Yahweh made boundaries for his throne in the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north, Sophia was there. Yahweh has a throne where he has regularly scheduled meetings with the sons of God and the angels, and asks how things are going. When Yahweh set up his throne, Sophia was there. This is also where the satan wanted to set up his throne so that he could judge the angels on the events of the earth.

Proverbs 8:28 G2259 when G2478 [5strong G4160 1he made G3588 2the G507 3upward G3509 4clouds]; G2532 and G5613 as G804 [5safe G5087 1he made G4077 2 the springs G3588   G5259 3under G3772 4heaven];

“At which time manufactured the things above the clouds mighty and like as steadfast established fountains from under heaven…”

Yahweh made the things above the clouds, and as we know from Noah’s time, the piercing of the firmament above and the firmament below caused the flood upon the earth. The above firmament produced climate control on the earth. If we want climate control, we have to ask Yahweh to put back the firmament because it kept temperatures stable with only a few degrees in variation.

Proverbs 8:29 G1722 in G3588 the G5087 putting G3588 [2to the G2281 3sea G194.1 1of his restriction]; G1473   G2532 and G5204 the waters G3756 shall not G3928 go by G4750 his mouth; G1473   G2532 and G5613 as G2478 [6strong G4160 1he made G3588 2the G2310 3foundations G3588 4of the G1093 5earth],

"In establishing the accuracy of the sea and water not pass by his speech and like as manufactured the foundation stone earth strong…”

The waters obey Yahweh’s direction. Sophia explains that the foundation of the earth is strong also. We may not understand it as well as we should, but the earth was manufactured with Sophia there and she is explaining it for us.

Proverbs 8:30 G1510.7.1 I was G3844 by G1473 him. G718 [3being in accord G1473 1I G1510.7.1 2was], G3739 in which G4377.1 he rejoiced with. G2596 [2each G2250 3day G1161 1And] G2165 I was glad G1722 in G4383 front G1473 of him G1722 at G3956 all G2540 time,

“I was alongside of him I was betroth, who welcome, but downward day delight in his face in every occasion…”

Vine's Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words

ἁρμόζω

harmozō har-mod'-zo From G719; to joint, that is, (figuratively) to woo (reflexively to betroth)

KJV Usage: espouse.

The idea of betrothed or espoused is that Yahweh and Sophia were in harmony together. They were joined together and fit together for the purpose of creating the earth. Sophia welcomed Yahweh and rejoiced over Yahweh every day. She delighted in everything He did, all the time.

Proverbs 8:31 G3753 even when G1757.1 he was pleased with G3588 the G3611 [2 the inhabitable world G4931 1completing], G2532 and G1757.1 was pleased G1722 among G5207 the sons G444 of men.

“At which time cheered the complete entire house and cheered in son manfaced. “

When Yahweh’s works were completed, the entire house in heaven cheered. All the angels, all the cherubim, all the seraphim, all the ophanim, all the other sons of God, beasts, elders, seven eyes, seven spirits, ioanit stations of light, the incorporeal’s, all the beings cheered regarding creation and again cheered when the adam was made.

Proverbs 8:32 G3568 Now G3767 then, G5207 O son, G191 hear G1473 me! G2532 and G3107 blessed are G3588 the ones G3598 [2my ways G1473   G5442 1guarding].

“Even now at all events son comprehend by hearing me and happy to keep watch and ward my way.”

Sophia now closes her thoughts by telling us to comprehend what she is saying. She wants us to guard her way. She wants us to understand her part in creation, the things that took place, and the way we are to live with her help.

Proverbs 8:33 G191 Hear G4678 wisdom! G2532 and G4679 you should be wise, G2532 and G3361 you should not G656.3 seal it up. G3107 Blessed is G435 the man G3739 who G1522 shall listen to G1473 me, G2532 and G444 the man G3739 who G3588   G1699 [2my G3598 3ways G5442 1shall guard];

“Comprehend by hearing Sophia and instruct and not unsealing. Happy male human being which listens to me and manfaced which to keep watch and ward my way…”

Again Sophia tells us to comprehend and not unseal the instructions or lose the instructions given to us. When we unseal something we have a tendency to scatter contents around. We can lose some parts like opening a bag of Legos. If we drop or misplace what we have unsealed, then we will not have all the contents. Do not unseal the entirety of what the Spirit of Wisdom has said. Or in other words, keep it all together. We are happy humans beings when we listen, and humanity is happy to guard Sophia’s ways.

Proverbs 8:34 G69 being awake G1909 at G1699 my G2374 doors G2596 each G2250 day, G5083 giving heed at G4712.4 the doorposts G1699 of my G1529 entrances.

“Lie awake upon my door downward day watch over stations my entrance.”

Everyday as the sun goes down, Sophia says to lie upon her entryway and pay attention to what comes and goes. Notice what Sophia is involved in. Look at the things she is doing. Instead of counting sheep, come to Sophia and watch what she is working on in the earth. What things are entering into her sacred tent.

Proverbs 8:35 G3588   G1063 For G1841 my issues G1473   G1841 are the issues G2222 of life, G2532 and G2090 in them [2is prepared G2308 1volition] G3844 from G2962 the lord .

“For my exit, exit life and will prepare in the presence of Yahweh.”

When Sophia exits, or leaves the living, she will prepare or make ready in the presence of Yahweh. Notice that Sophia knows the plan, she knows that she will exit life. She will exit the living when she is taken up by the cherubim and ophanim out of the temple as Ezekiel saw. She then comes back at Jesus’ baptism and on Pentecost, but will exit again at the harpazo. She is preparing something when she exits or departs. There is an interesting aspect to this word exodos or exit. It means “from out of a threshold or from out of a journey”. When she is done on her journey, she will prepare in the presence of Yahweh. When we exit from out of our journey, we prepare in the presence of Yahweh. We can understand this from the next sentence.

Proverbs 8:36 G3588 But the ones G1161   G264 sinning G1519 against G1473 me G764 are impious G1519 unto G3588 their G1438 own G5590 souls; G2532 and G3588 the ones G3404 detesting G1473 me G25 love G2288 death.

“But the sinner among me act profanely into his soul life and hate me, love death.”

The sinners who dwell among Sophia act profanely in their own souls. They profane themselves because they hate Sophia. Instead they love death. Sophia brings life, but sinners love death. Sophia will prepare us when she exits to be in the presence of Yahweh, but sinners don’t meet in the presence of Yahweh. This is a great key for us to understand. When our spirit leaves our body (exits the living), the Spirit of Wisdom exits and will prepare us in the presence of Yahweh. Notice what Paul tells us.

1Th 4:8  He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

Sinners who profane their own soul are really despising the Elohim. We have the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Wisdom, but when the Spirit of Wisdom exits the living she will prepare a place in the presence of Yahweh. Notice the random lower case “h” for Holy.

Solomon has more to say about Sophia. She preserved the adam after he sinned. She was with the adam.

Wis 10:1  She preserved the first formed father of the world, that was created alone, and brought him out of his fall,

Wis 10:2  And gave him power to rule all things.

Sophia gave the adam power to rule all things even though after the fall we are under the authority of the god of this world. We still have authority, dunamis and exousia. We have rulership over the elements, over demons, over evil, if we care to use it.

Wis 10:3  But when the unrighteous went away from her in his anger, he perished also in the fury wherewith he murdered his brother.

Who was the unrighteous murderer? Cain. Cain left Sophia. She did not prepare a place for him before Yahweh because he loved death.

Wis 10:4  For whose cause the earth being drowned with the flood, wisdom again preserved it, and directed the course of the righteous in a piece of wood of small value.

In the days of the Nephil, when angels came to earth and cohabitated with women, Sophia preserved the earth. She helped Noah and their ark. Wisdom preserved it, Wisdom is a who, not an it.

Wis 10:5  Moreover, the nations in their wicked conspiracy being confounded, she found out the righteous, and preserved him blameless unto God, and kept him strong against his tender compassion toward his son.

Wisdom preserved Abraham from out of Nimrod’s nation. Nimrod conspired to kill Abraham, but Sophia preserved Abraham blameless.

Wis 10:6  When the ungodly perished, she delivered the righteous man, who fled from the fire which fell down upon the five cities.

Sophia delivered Lot out of the cities of Sodom.

Wis 10:7  Of whose wickedness even to this day the waste land that smoketh is a testimony, and plants bearing fruit that never come to ripeness: and a standing pillar of salt is a monument of an unbelieving soul.

Lot’s wife was an unbelieving soul. The land was wasted, but Sophia delivered Lot.

Wis 10:8  For regarding not wisdom, they gat not only this hurt, that they knew not the things which were good; but also left behind them to the world a memorial of their foolishness: so that in the things wherein they offended they could not so much as be hid.

The heirs of the Nephilim should have known Sophia as well. Therefore they left behind burning, suffering, and a wasteland. Their foolishness is still a memorial in Israel.

Wis 10:9  But wisdom delivered from pain those that attended upon her.

All those who pay attention to and guard Sophia are delivered from much pain.

Again let’s review Paul’s words.

Rom 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Rom 8:10  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Sophia can deliver people from pain because she dwells in us. Paul continues

Rom 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Rom 8:15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Rom 8:16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Rom 8:17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Rom 8:11  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

We can have such a relationship with the Spirit of Wisdom that she bears witness with our own spirit that we are the children of God. No wandering, no fire and brimstone, just a peaceful relationship with the knowledge that we will be made alive one day in Christ due to the Holy Spirit adopting us.

Solomon continues.

Wis 10:10  When the righteous fled from his brother's wrath she guided him in right paths, shewed him the kingdom of God, and gave him knowledge of holy things, made him rich in his travels, and multiplied the fruit of his labours.

Jacob fled from Esau’s wrath. As we know, Jacob was a priest in the tents of Shem’s school, while Esau was a hunter. At the age of 57, Jacob left the tents of worship and went to Laban’s house. He saw the angels ascending and descending in a dream. He had knowledge of holy things, which is how his flocks prospered. He was multiplied with twelve sons.

Wis 10:11  In the covetousness of such as oppressed him she stood by him, and made him rich.

When people tried to oppress Jacob and his family Sophia made him rich. Jacob had many servants as well as possessions.

Wis 10:12  She defended him from his enemies, and kept him safe from those that lay in wait, and in a sore conflict she gave him the victory; that he might know that goodness is stronger than all.

Jacob and his sons warred with many other nations in the land that was theirs but they always had the victory. Goodness is stronger than evil.

Wis 10:13  When the righteous was sold, she forsook him not, but delivered him from sin: she went down with him into the pit,

Joseph was sold but Sophia was with him. She was even in the pit with him. That is amazing. If she was in the pit with Joseph, then she is in the pit with us

Wis 10:14  And left him not in bonds, till she brought him the sceptre of the kingdom, and power against those that oppressed him: as for them that had accused him, she shewed them to be liars, and gave him perpetual glory.

Sophia gave Joseph perpetual glory. Whenever we hear of Joseph we remember how he was raised up into a position of power and even reconciled his family. Sophia was with him. Jacob’s family was so blessed that they multiplied as a great people in Egypt. Then the Egyptians became afraid of them. Pharaoh says this about Joseph.

Gen 41:38  And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?

How is it that Pharaoh recognizes the Spirit of Elohim in Joseph, yet people today question the Holy Spirit of Elohim?

Wis 10:15  She delivered the righteous people and blameless seed from the nation that oppressed them.

Sophia delivered the righteous out of Egypt.

Wis 10:16  She entered into the soul of the servant of the Lord, and withstood dreadful kings in wonders and signs;

Sophia entered into Moses and Aaron and performed the ten miracles.

Wis 10:17  Rendered to the righteous a reward of their labours, guided them in a marvellous way, and was unto them for a cover by day, and a light of stars in the night season;

Sophia gave them a cloud by day and pillar of fire by night.

Wis 10:18  Brought them through the Red sea, and led them through much water:

Sophia stopped the waters for their journey.

Wis 10:19  But she drowned their enemies, and cast them up out of the bottom of the deep.

Sophia drowned Pharaohs’ armies.

Wis 10:20  Therefore the righteous spoiled the ungodly, and praised thy holy name, O Lord, and magnified with one accord thine hand, that fought for them.

The righteous overcame the ungodly through Sophia.

Wis 10:21  For wisdom opened the mouth of the dumb, and made the tongues of them that cannot speak eloquent.

It was Sophia who helped Moses and Aaron speak to Pharaoh. Solomon goes on with history, attributing these miracles to Sophia. Wisdom is a “who” not an “it”. Wisdom is not an ethereal idea floating by that one gains with age. He then says this:

Wis 11:21  For thou canst shew thy great strength at all times when thou wilt; and who may withstand the power of thine arm?

Wis 11:22  For the whole world before thee is as a little grain of the balance, yea, as a drop of the morning dew that falleth down upon the earth.

Wis 11:23  But thou hast mercy upon all; for thou canst do all things, and winkest at the sins of men, because they should amend.

Sophia is merciful, but people should amend for their sins. Why? because we are her temple.

1Co 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

If the Spirit of God lives in us then we want to be a clean home for her. If we can hardly find her among the piles of dirty laundry then she may not be able to help us.

Wis 11:24  For thou lovest all the things that are, and abhorrest nothing which thou hast made: for never wouldest thou have made any thing, if thou hadst hated it.

Wis 11:25  And how could any thing have endured, if it had not been thy will? or been preserved, if not called by thee?

Wis 11:26  But thou sparest all: for they are thine, O Lord, thou lover of souls.

Yahweh is a great lover of our souls, but there is more.

Wis 12:1  For thine incorruptible Spirit is in all things.

Yahweh’s incorruptible Spirit is Sophia, the Spirit of Wisdom, made in the beginning. We receive the Spirit of Elohim.

1Co 2:10  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

1Co 2:11  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

1Co 2:12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

1Co 2:13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

1Co 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1Co 2:15  But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

1Co 2:16  For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Sophia teaches us, we are not like people that Paul calls “natural men”. We are better and smarter because things given to us are revealed by the Spirit of God.

Wis 12:2  Therefore chastenest thou them by little and little that offend, and warnest them by putting them in remembrance wherein they have offended, that leaving their wickedness they may believe on thee, O Lord.

Remember, we say Sophia is a subtle Spirit, she is not a hammer. She helps us little by little. She warns us of our offenses. We can then believe on Yahweh.

Wis 12:3  For it was thy will to destroy by the hands of our fathers both those old inhabitants of thy holy land,

Wis 12:4  Whom thou hatedst for doing most odious works of witchcrafts, and wicked sacrifices;

The people of the exodus were not as nice and holy as we might think. We know that they worshipped the cherubim on the mercy seat in the wilderness, as Stephen reminded us. They even named them. Solomon is reminding us of some of their sins.

Wis 12:5  And also those merciless murderers of children, and devourers of man's flesh, and the feasts of blood,

Wis 12:6  With their priests out of the midst of their idolatrous crew, and the parents, that killed with their own hands souls destitute of help:

We remember Moses grandson, who was a Levite, who practiced worship among other gods in a man’s house. We remember during the time of Joshua and Judges how the people kept falling back into evil spiritual works. Then their punishment was to be ruled by the Philistines. After their freedom was regained they would fall again into works of evil and again lose their freedom to the Philistines.

Wis 12:7  That the land, which thou esteemedst above all other, might receive a worthy colony of God's children.

Their constant punishments were to bring about a worthy colony of believers on Yahweh. Why? Israel was picked because of the faithfulness of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They were then to teach the world about Yahweh.

Wis 12:8  Nevertheless even those thou sparedst as men, and didst send wasps, forerunners of thine host, to destroy them by little and little.

The evil people who tried to overtake Israel were met with wasps and hornets.

Wis 12:9  Not that thou wast unable to bring the ungodly under the hand of the righteous in battle, or to destroy them at once with cruel beasts, or with one rough word:

Sophia could have used lions, tigers, or bears, but instead she used wasps. That seems like a fair thing to do. Instead of ultimately killing off the ungodly, she hurt them a little at a time.

Wis 12:10  But executing thy judgments upon them by little and little, thou gavest them place of repentance, not being ignorant that they were a naughty generation, and that their malice was bred in them, and that their cogitation would never be changed.

Yahweh and Sophia gave them a place to repent.

We see other less known people who were filled with the Spirit of Elohim. Notice in Exodus the translators made “spirit” and “wisdom” lower case.

Exo 31:1  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Exo 31:2  See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:

Exo 31:3  And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,

Exo 31:4  To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

Exo 31:5  And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.

These men were designing the elements for the tabernacle of Moses. The Spirit of Wisdom helped them with their work. Joshua was also filled with the Spirit of Wisdom.

Deu 34:9  And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.

Notice what happened to Saul when he was trying to kill David.

1Sa 19:22  (Brenton) And Saul was very angry, and went himself also to Armathaim, and he comes as far as the well of the threshing floor that is in Sephi; and he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? And they said, Behold, in Navath in Rama.

1Sa 19:23  And he went thence to Navath in Rama: and there came the Spirit of God upon him also, and he went on prophesying till he came to Navath in Rama.

1Sa 19:24  And he took off his clothes, and prophesied before them; and lay down naked all that day and all that night: therefore they said, Is Saul also among the prophets?

People saw Saul naked and prophesying. Saul was bound and kept from catching David in quite a humorous way. The other prophets sarcastically said, “Is Saul a Prophet?”.

Jesus in his earthly body had the Spirit of the Lord, and the Spirit of Wisdom upon him as Isaiah prophesied.

Isa 11:2  And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

People saw the Spirit of Elohim descend on Jesus and they heard the Father speak.

Mat 3:16  And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

Mat 3:17  And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Mark and Luke recount this incident, but notice the way translators changed the words around. Matthew says “Spirit of God”, Mark says “Spirit” and Luke says “Holy Ghost”. John records “Spirit” and “Holy Ghost”.

Mar 1:9  And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.

Mar 1:10  And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

Mar 1:11  And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Luk 3:22  And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

The apostle John records John the Baptist this way.

Joh 1:32  And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

Joh 1:33  And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

Joh 1:34  And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

Again “Ghost” is the same word for “Spirit”, there was no need to change the words around.

When we understand the Spirit of Wisdom, who was an original creation by Yahweh, we see that we are not alone on the earth. We are not just random humans existing on some rock, with no help or guidance. We were created after the path of creating the earth, which tells us that the Elohim already knew we would need some guidance. With the Spirit of Wisdom on the earth for our benefit, she could either indwell the holy prophets and priests, or dwell in the temple prior to Pentecost. At Pentecost she could indwell more humans because Jesus’ blood cleansed us from our sins.

As with any lesson of this magnitude, the satan wants to make a parallel or shadow “spirit”. The satan will use spiritualists to lead people astray saying that they too know Sophia. The apostle John gave us the remedy for that idea.

1Jn 4:2  Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

This is the testimony of Jesus. The Spirit bears witness because the Spirit is truth.

1Jn 5:6  This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

1Jn 5:7  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

1Jn 5:8  And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

The Father, the Word (logos, Jesus) and the Holy Spirit are one. They also witness on the earth. This is how we overcome the world. We have Jesus’ baptism, Jesus’ blood on his cross, and the Holy Spirit descending like a dove, which people saw. People also heard the Father’s voice when they saw the Holy Spirit descend. The Holy Spirit bears witness to the water of baptism and Jesus’ blood. What is the first thing that we see the Spirit of Elohim do? Bear upon above the water. The Holy Spirit is acting and interacting among us.
