We hit a global milestone this week as the earth’s population reached 8 billion people. In honor of the milestone it seemed fitting to rework our numbers regarding the harpazo and the details of the tribulation if the harpazo occurred today. Numbers always tell a story. The story is not always what we think it is. For instance, the numbers today tell us that there are still more babies being born than there are people dying. That is a good thing as far as advances in longevity and birth rate/death rate ratios. While it does not reveal the quality of life that people are living, it does number lives or souls. Numbers show us where certain religious groups live, and in that we can presume the likelihood of religious conflict in certain regions. Numbers are not hypothetical they are factual. When we speak of events like the harpazo we can determine what the proceeding world population and demographics will look like in order to see a clearer picture of the future if the harpazo happened today or relatively soon. In time there can be many variables, such as a world war, famine, or pandemics, all of which could alter the numbers at the harpazo and the numbers after the harpazo. Nevertheless, understanding the numbers can help us to realistically see what the world will look like if today was the day of the above gathering.
Christianity grew by one hundred million people in the last seven years. That does not seem significant does it? It seems like other religions are growing faster and the numbers indicate that they are growing faster. However something to consider is that Christianity is a religion of choice. We choose to become believers in Jesus Christ. Other religions are religions of birth, meaning children born to parents of those religions are automatically counted as adding to those religions. Therefore the number story for Christianity is actually a positive number story, because people are choosing Christ. Christians do die eventually, and an increase in numbers means that we are still gaining people for Christ. Therefore when people claim that Islam is the fastest growing religion, it is not an apples to apples comparison with Christianity. People choose Christianity and are not born into it as with Islam and Judaism. But recognizing that there will be people who are taken off the earth, because the Bible clearly tells us this event will happen, means that the religious makeup of the earth will look different after that event. Just because we do not know the date of the seizing off the earth, does not mean that it won’t happen. Instead we should try to add to our numbers because we are actually waiting for the number of people from the nations to come to know Christ. Then we are to encourage one another.
Rom 11:25 (ISV) For I want to let you know about this secret, brothers, so that you will not claim to be wiser than you are: Stubbornness has come to part of Israel until the full number of the gentiles comes to faith.
What is the “full number” starting at Pentecost through to today? We do not know. But we do know, as the numbers tell us, that the full number is greater than the number that are alive on the earth today, which is roughly 2.6 billion Christians. If we add to this number then we will be closer to the full number of the ethnos of faith. There are people living under threat of death for being Christian, and there are people who claim to be Christians but do not believe that Jesus is Lord and that he died and rose up on the third day, so this total number of Christians is fluid. Also, it would seem that COVID made evangelizing a bit harder because people have not been traveling and meeting with others. If we knew the exact number then Satanas would find a way to exploit it, as with more lockdowns and pandemics. Therefore if we are all doing our part in making disciples then we will get there eventually.

Paul goes on to explain that Israel will be saved, but not until all the nations have come into faith.

We know that Jesus will come with his armies at the end of the tribulation, on the Day of the Lord, and will get rid of all evil and ungodliness from the earth. The earth will be cleansed.
Rom 11:28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake, but as far as election is concerned, they are loved for the sake of their ancestors.
Something we should keep in mind is that Israel was tasked with teaching the nations and bringing forth the Messiah. As a nation they did that even though they didn’t believe that Jesus was Messiah. Everyone learned about Jesus because of their negative treatment of Him. They are enemies of Christianity, but they are spreading the gospel even if it is done negatively.

Rom 11:31 so they, too, have now disobeyed. As a result, they may receive mercy because of the mercy shown to you.
They will receive mercy for their disobedience because we all came to Christ despite their rejection of Him.

Jews can become Christians, then they would not be locked in the prison of their own disobedience. But if they do not come to Christ now, they will later.
Rom 11:33 O how deep are God's riches, and wisdom, and knowledge! How unfathomable are his decisions and unexplainable are his ways!
Rom 11:34 Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has become his adviser?
Rom 11:35 Or who has given him something only to have him pay it back?"
Rom 11:36 For all things are from him, by him, and for him. Glory belongs to him forever! Amen.
In other words, we are the beneficiaries of the Jews disobedience. And while they are in the prison of their own disobedience, we receive mercy when we believe. Imagine what the earth would be like if the Jews overwhelmingly believed on Jesus and then went out to the nations to teach the nations. The nations would be in their own disobedient prisons and then go through the tribulation until the nations would come to receive Jesus as Lord. But because the opposite is true, the nations came to Jesus apart from Israel, then we are freed from prison and they instead stay in their own bondage.
We should also remember our previous studies. Many Essene Jews believed on Jesus and became Christians. The Pharisaical Jews rejected Jesus instead. Judaism grew under Pharisaical legalism while the Essenes, Nazarenes, Therapeutaes, Zedek and Zadok priests, and prophets, grew Christianity. This is the root and base of the two religious systems. Pharisaical legalism started at the time of the religious split in Jerusalem when Jonathan Apphus was named High Priest, defiling the temple.

All Christian nations (who just lost their Christians) will be going through a difficult time as there will not be many people farming, delivering food, running the electric grid, and so on. Think abut the houses on your street, one in four homes will be occupied after the harpazo in the United States. That is a big picture look. There are many people who do not understand this gathering of the saints, but the Bible is quite clear on the subject. We can decide if we want to be among the saints or not. They want to confuse the children who will grow up into confused adults, not knowing Jesus.

In looking at this map we see people in the purple regions will be the primary inhabitants of the world after the harpazo. If we go back to Noah’s prophecy, this would all be Shem’s portion of the land, as Japheth was given the north and Ham was given the south. This is a prophetic house cleaning in Shem’s land. It is likely that those people who are non-muslims will try and make alliances with the Jews for commerce and trade, banding together. The people left in South America will probably become self sufficient and ride out the tribulation period unless they align with the Beast.
Now just to add to this visual discussion and for additional understanding we have to recognize where the fifteen million Jews all live. Nearly seven million Jews live in Israel. Six million Jews live in the United States. Nearly four hundred thousand live in Canada and four hundred thousand live in France. Argentina has about one hundred and seventy five thousand Jews and Russia has about one hundred and fifty thousand Jews. Looking at the world map, overlaid with the map of Christianity, we see something interesting after the harpazo. The majority of Jews are in Israel and the United States and while the non-Christian population is in the middle east, the far east, and northern Africa. We now can estimate what regions will be most impacted by the beast and his take over of the world. We can guess where the safest places to live might be and the most dangerous places for anyone who rejects the beast and his mark. Suffice to say, the United States will not be a great place to live during the tribulation, as Jews, muslims, and non-Christians all vie for position and power.

To lose over two billion people in one instant at the time of the harpazo will be shocking to everyone left on the earth. This is something that Satanas is prepared for. The majority of people living in the middle east, far east, and northern Africa, already believe that they are to overtake the world as per their religion. As is human nature, men will fight against one another in the effort to become dominant.
There will need to be an explanation for the missing two and one half billion people and the Vatican might provide it. As we know, the Vatican has their observatories and long range telescopes, one in Castel Gandolfo outside of Rome and one in the southern Arizona desert. In Arizona it is called the Vatican Advanced Technology Telescope, which is on Mount Graham. What are they looking for? What will they see at the harpazo? If they cannot see the harpazo happen but they know that two billion people are missing what excuse could be made for the missing people?
What is the time period for the start of the tribulation after the harpazo? No one really knows. There are suggestions that it could be years as in one generation, or it could be instant. Our number story reflects an instant plunge into the tribulation. One of our benchmarks is a temple that includes an altar of sacrifice and the daily offerings being made. If the building of the temple does not come to pass before the harpazo, then it will come to pass after the harpazo. The temple is a benchmark in time.
The two witnesses come to earth at the start of the tribulation. They are another benchmark. Enoch and Elijah who both have their bodies, will be on the earth witnessing for three and one half years. As the seals are being opened there are many other markers in time. At the 4th seal one fourth of the population is killed. The theme of the seals is men killing men. There are wars and people vying for dominance. This leads to famine and shortages depending on where one lives. One fourth of the population of about 5.5 billion people suddenly dying is going to be quite noticeable on the earth. There are many groups who believe that we need a population decrease on the earth. Well the harpazo will decrease the population by about 2.5 billion and the 4th seal will decrease the population by another 1.3 billion people.

In the first part of the first three and one half years after the harpazo the earth’s population drops to 4.125 billion people. That would be nearly half of the world population today. How do we know that the church is not on the earth when the seals are open? Because the redeemed are watching Jesus take the scrolls, open the seals, and they sing a new song about being redeemed. The redeemed are not on the earth at this time because they are singing a song about being kings and priests because of Jesus’ blood. The redeemed are watching the seals being opened. This is what I call the Revelation 5 mystery. The mystery is, who are the redeemed? Angels are not redeemed, cherubim are not redeemed, seraphim are not redeemed, so obviously the redeemed are humans, the ones that Jesus paid for by his blood.
As we know, during the 5th seal many people will die under the altar, so there must be an altar, and a daily sacrifice instituted. They are martyrs for Jesus. These people must either live in Jerusalem or be visiting the temple at the time of their martyrdom. The martyrdom under the altar may last over the course of days, weeks or months as people come to worship and refuse to pledge an allegiance to their leader. That is when many Jews will know that they have been deceived and will be martyred for not following the son of perdition.
The 144,000 virgins are sealed during this time. They will not be hurt during the trumpet judgments. As the trumpets sound one third of the trees and grass die, one third of the fish die, and the waters become poisoned. At the 4th trumpet one third of the sun, moon, and stars, don’t shine. The sun, moon, and stars, were created on the fourth day, so the fourth seal seems prophetic here. The sixth trumpet brings death to another 1.3 billion people.

By the time of the seventh trumpet, which is the half way point of the tribulation, there are only 2.75 billion people remaining on the earth. The seventh trumpet is when Jesus is coronated and the kingdoms of the world become the kingdoms of our Lord and Christ, and then he shall reign forever, Revelation 11.
Imagine our timing here. We have an above gathering, then the seal judgments, wars and famine, men fighting men. Then the seven trumpet judgments. This is the time the when the earth fights against men. The son of perdition sits in the holy of holies. The two witnesses will be killed in the Shkhem Square and everyone will rejoice, giving each other presents. Jesus is coronated and gives rewards to his people. Then his first order of business it to collect the 144,000 sealed virgins.

By the end of the tribulation there are roughly 900 million people left on the earth. These will then make war with the lamb. Truly, today’s globalists will get their wish for a decrease in population. But if they do not follow the beast and they are not converted to the beast’s religion and system, then they will not live to see it. And if they do take the beasts mark then they will not have eternal life with Jesus. By this time the earth’s population has has been reduced via death and martyrdom by over 7 billion people.

It is interesting that people will probably move to different parts of the globe in order to survive. I would suppose that people living in wilderness areas will miss some of the wars compared to people living in the heavily populated middle eastern cities. We know this because at the very end of the tribulation when Jesus gathers the sons of Jacob from the ends of heaven and earth, there are some that have obviously survived the tribulation.

We are still living in the time before the Jews have been brought back to their land. Yes some Jews went back to Israel after 1917 and when Israel was declared its own country in 1948. But there are still more than half the Jews living in other places around the world. While less than half of their total population is living in Israel today, we know that a large portion are in the United States and about two million Jews are scattered around the world.

Being that Israel is still in constant turmoil from her neighbors, she is not in peace, which is why most Jews do not feel impressed to move back there. So there will be a time when Jesus will gather them out from all the nations and from one end of heaven to the other.
Deu 30:4 If thy dispersion be from one end of heaven to the other, thence will the Lord thy God gather thee, and thence will the Lord thy God take thee.
This tells us that those sons of Jacob who have died will be brought back to the millennial kingdom as well. Jesus will be ruling from Jerusalem.
Deu 30:5 And the Lord thy God shall bring thee in from thence into the land which thy fathers have inherited, and thou shalt inherit it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
Deu 30:6 And the Lord shall purge thy heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

From a practical view, there are many Jewish people who moved all over the earth from as far back as the exodus when some of the tribes did not wander the desert but instead journeyed where they had been merchants. They went up into the Greek Isles, Spain, and into the British Isles. With forty years of circling the desert who can blame them for not wanting to go that way? At the time of the judges more people left Israel in ships. There was a captivity of the northern kingdom and a captivity of the southern kingdom. People mixed, moved, or stayed where they were. This is why we find small ancient Jewish populations isolated throughout the middle east and even in South America. We will be surprised to find out where the true sons of Jacob have been living when He brings them back.
Today nearly nine million people in total live in Israel (Jews and non-Jews). Jesus will reign from Israel for one thousand years. He will be the one deciding how the earth will be run. He will be the King of a one world government. We know the Babylon desert region will become a place for demons and creatures, and people will travel around the desert not through it. There will be people living all over the earth. Each region will have kings who will choose how to rule the people. All people will be obligated to celebrate feasts and holy days as Jesus declares. Therefore the earth will still be inhabited.

Because the earth is inhabited after the tribulation we know that during the millennial reign the earth is still habitable. The earth is not decimated or destroyed to the degree that no one can live on it. It will be cleaned up and cleared out when Jesus comes with his armies. This means that even if there is a nuclear war prior to the tribulation, the earth will have people living in it. The only desert place uninhabited in the millennial kingdom is the Babylon region. The Ethiopians will bring up a present to Jesus from their region after Jesus has taken all the evil people off the earth, which tells us that their region is inhabited as well. We do not need to fear if there is a war because people are inhabiting the earth through the tribulation and in the millennial kingdom.
After the millennial kingdom and after Satanas is loosed to go out and deceive the nations, there will be the white throne judgment and then a new heaven and earth. The new heaven and earth will be populated at that time.

Jesus is not interested in decreasing the population, he would love every one to have eternal life. There are only a few rules to receiving eternal life. Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, meaning confess that Jesus is your Lord. Then believe that Jesus rose up from the dead on the third day.
Rom 10:9 If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rom 10:10 For one believes with his heart and is justified, and declares with his mouth and is saved.
Rom 10:11 The Scripture says, "Everyone who believes in him will never be ashamed."
Rom 10:12 There is no difference between Jew and Greek, because they all have the same Lord, who gives richly to all who call on him.
Rom 10:13 "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
That’s it. This is the way to eternal life. Becoming a believer of Jesus Christ is a life long relationship with Him. He wants you to choose Him because he only has good things for you. The earth will undergo hard times because the god of this world, Satanas, does not want to relinquish his control over humans. He will fight against Jesus, using those people who follow him.
