Grieving Humanity Before The Trumpets Sound; Throwing Stones; Where Are You?

The first question Yahweh asked Adam after Adam’s disobedience was, “Where are you?” It’s been a rocky ride for humanity ever since. As we have noted recently, humanity has been plagued by demons, enticed by satan, and brought low. So low in fact that we have forgotten the textual body of our story.  Ezra askes the question; “Wouldn’t it have been better to not give the earth to Adam or at least stop him from sinning?” The answer is quite interesting. The summation is that we are moving forward toward the Day of Redemption, and only the redeemed are seized on that day. But whether our Day of Redemption is today, or 100 years from now, we should understand that Yahweh is grieved for humanity. Humans are grieved for themsleves. And humans grieve the Holy Spirit. Humanity is destined to live on earth in the midst of a battle. But man can overcome. The Elohim made man in the image of the Elohim; that is something that is not even said about angels. Man was made a little lower than the Elohim and was crowned with glory and honor. That was something satan did not like. He did not want to bow before Adam. Now mankind is lost in a fog of deceptions and has forgotten where he is.

Gen 3:9 But the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, Where are you? AMP

Yahweh Aleph Tav Elohim walked in the garden with Adam in the afternoons. Adam was not left on earth alone because there were times when Yahweh Aleph Tav walked in the garden with him and Eve. That is personal attention. But as we saw in the days of Jared, Watchers who were to be helping humanity left their positions and took women with which to procreate, creating three races, Gibborim, Nephilim and Elioud. Now humanity was further corrupted along with the animals. Yahweh was grieved over mankind. This reads a little different in the Greek compared to the Hebrew, the Greek being more accurate.

Since Noah found favor with Yahweh, Noah started humanity on earth again. But when we get to the time of Solomon we see men serving demons and calamity on the earth. They attributed the sacred name of Elohim onto stone idols. Solomon says the worshipping of idols is the beginning, the cause, and the end of all evil.

Wisdom 14:21-31 And this was an occasion to deceive the world: for men, serving either calamity or tyranny, did ascribe unto stones and stocks the incommunicable name.22 Moreover this was not enough for them, that they erred in the knowledge of God; but whereas they lived in the great war of ignorance, those so great plagues called they peace.23 For whilst they slew their children in sacrifices, or used secret ceremonies, or made revellings of strange rites;24 They kept neither lives nor marriages any longer undefiled: but either one slew another traiterously, or grieved him by adultery.25 So that there reigned in all men without exception blood, manslaughter, theft, and dissimulation, corruption, unfaithfulness, tumults, perjury,26 Disquieting of good men, forgetfulness of good turns, defiling of souls, changing of kind, disorder in marriages, adultery, and shameless uncleanness.27 For the worshipping of idols not to be named is the beginning, the cause, and the end, of all evil.28 For either they are mad when they be merry, or prophesy lies, or live unjustly, or else lightly forswear themselves.29 For insomuch as their trust is in idols, which have no life; though they swear falsely, yet they look not to be hurt.30 Howbeit for both causes shall they be justly punished: both because they thought not well of God, giving heed unto idols, and also unjustly swore in deceit, despising holiness.31 For it is not the power of them by whom they swear: but it is the just vengeance of sinners, that punisheth always the offence of the ungodly. Ezra laments things in a conversation with an angel. The Angel tells him about the day of doom.

2 Esd 7:42-70 He answered me, and said, This present life is not the end where much glory doth abide; therefore have they prayed for the weak.43 But the day of doom shall be the end of this time, and the beginning of the immortality for to come, wherein corruption is past,44 Intemperance is at an end, infidelity is cut off, righteousness is grown, and truth is sprung up.45 Then shall no man be able to save him that is destroyed, nor to oppress him that hath gotten the victory.

Ezra asks what profit is there for men not to live in heaviness, because at death humans will suffer further punishment.

2 Esd 7:46 I answered then and said, This is my first and last saying, that it had been better not to have given the earth unto Adam: or else, when it was given him, to have restrained him from sinning.47 For what profit is it for men now in this present time to live in heaviness, and after death to look for punishment?48 O thou Adam, what hast thou done? for though it was thou that sinned, thou art not fallen alone, but we all that come of thee.49 For what profit is it unto us, if there be promised us an immortal time, whereas we have done the works that bring death?50 And that there is promised us an everlasting hope, whereas ourselves being most wicked are made vain?51 And that there are laid up for us dwellings of health and safety, whereas we have lived wickedly?52 And that the glory of the most High is kept to defend them which have led a wary life, whereas we have walked in the most wicked ways of all?

Ezra goes on lamenting, because he realizes that even though there is a paradise men could not enter into it. 2 Esd 7:53 And that there should be shewed a paradise, whose fruit endureth for ever, wherein is security and medicine, since we shall not enter into it?54 (For we have walked in unpleasant places.)55 And that the faces of them which have used abstinence shall shine above the stars, whereas our faces shall be blacker than darkness?56 For while we lived and committed iniquity, we considered not that we should begin to suffer for it after death.

The angel responds that this is the condition of the battle which man has to fight. If man fights he will have the victory. The reason we grieve so much is because we are always struggling, yet we are unaware that there is a battle we are supposed to engage in.

2 Esd 7:57 Then answered he me, and said, This is the condition of the battle, which man that is born upon the earth shall fight; 58 That, if he be overcome, he shall suffer as thou hast said: but if he get the victory, he shall receive the thing that I say. 59 For this is the life whereof Moses spake unto the people while he lived, saying, Choose thee life, that thou mayest live.60 Nevertheless they believed not him, nor yet the prophets after him, no nor me which have spoken unto them,61 That there should not be such heaviness in their destruction, as shall be joy over them that are persuaded to salvation.

The angel says that they did not believe Moses or the prophets, or even the angel himself. Ezra is hoping in the mercy of the Most High but notes that there may end up being only a few who attain salvation. That grieves Yahweh.

2 Esd 7:62 I answered then, and said, I know, Lord, that the most High is called merciful, in that he hath mercy upon them which are not yet come into the world,63 And upon those also that turn to his law;64 And that he is patient, and long suffereth those that have sinned, as his creatures;65 And that he is bountiful, for he is ready to give where it needeth;66 And that he is of great mercy, for he multiplieth more and more mercies to them that are present, and that are past, and also to them which are to come.67 For if he shall not multiply his mercies, the world would not continue with them that inherit therein.68 And he pardoneth; for if he did not so of his goodness, that they which have committed iniquities might be eased of them, the ten thousandth part of men should not remain living.69 And being judge, if he should not forgive them that are cured with his word, and put out the multitude of contentions,70 There should be very few left peradventure in an innumerable multitude.KJV

The angel points out that this world was made for many but the world to come for only a few.

2 Esd 8:1-3 And he answered me, saying, The most High hath made this world for many, but the world to come for few.2 I will tell thee a similitude, Esdras; As when thou askest the earth, it shall say unto thee, that it giveth much mould whereof earthen vessels are made, but little dust that gold cometh of: even so is the course of this present world.3 There be many created, but few shall be saved. KJV

That is powerful. Few shall be saved. If we remember our timing, Ezra was writing after Cyrus let the Israelites go back to Jerusalem, and he along with Nehemiah had led the efforts to rebuild a temple and the city walls. Solomon’s temple had been destroyed, and we remember the crazy sins going on in the temple through the time of Ezekiel, so we understand that Ezra is grieved because humanity, specifically Jews, had lost their way. We need the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Wisdom in this age to help us, but we should not be grieved by the bonds or parameters which we received from the Spirit of Wisdom.

Ecclus 6:22-31 For wisdom is according to her name, and she is not manifest unto many.23 Give ear, my son, receive my advice, and refuse not my counsel,24 And put thy feet into her fetters, and thy neck into her chain.25 Bow down thy shoulder, and bear her, and be not grieved with her bonds.26 Come unto her with thy whole heart, and keep her ways with all thy power.27 Search, and seek, and she shall be made known unto thee: and when thou hast got hold of her, let her not go.28 For at the last thou shalt find her rest, and that shall be turned to thy joy.29 Then shall her fetters be a strong defence for thee, and her chains a robe of glory.30 For there is a golden ornament upon her, and her bands are purple lace.31 Thou shalt put her on as a robe of honour, and shalt put her about thee as a crown of joy.KJV

Jesus saw the hardness of the religious leaders’ hearts and was grieved, because they held the Sabbath law in higher esteem than a human being healed. What do we believe today, is it better to not heal on the Sabbath? I think we recognize that healing on the Sabbath is a blessing not something to be stoned for.

Mark 3:5 And He glanced around at them with vexation and anger, grieved at the hardening of their hearts, and said to the man, Hold out your hand. He held it out, and his hand was [completely] restored. AMP

As Jesus watched the religious leaders and knew they were waiting to condemn him for healing on the Sabbath, the religious leaders may very well have picked up stones. The Old Testament gives us a list of infractions in which stoning with stones is/was permissible. And if we look at this in a bullet point form we will see that today we don’t stone anyone for these things anymore. The religious leaders put some of the laws (not all of the laws) above the blessing of someone being made whole. As we know they also made up contingencies to the laws to get out of having to fulfill them. Jesus came to not only do a new thing but to show us a better way to live. Jesus should have been stoned for healing the man, and yet what was Jesus’ response, he was angry and grieved. Man is always grieving God. These are some things one should be stoned for:

·         Lev 20:2 giving ones’ seed to Molech

·         Lev 20:27 someone with a familiar spirit or a wizard

·         Lev 24:14 blaspheming the name of the Lord and cursing

·         Num 15:35 working on the Sabbath

·         Num 35:17 murders

·         Deut 13:10 someone leading others into idolatry

·         Deut 17:5 adultery, men and women

·         Deut 21:21 stubborn rebellious, glutton, drunkard

·         Deut 22:21 a women who is found not to be a virgin

We, just like the religious leaders of Jesus’ day, pick and choose what we will stone people over. Notice that this list does not include some things we would like to stone people over today. And in fact, I really haven’t noticed overweight people living in fear of being stoned or non-virgins hiding their sexual behavior. Jesus came with a new lifestyle for humanity to live by. He told us that the Holy Spirit would come. Paul later tells us not to grieve the Holy Spirit. Yahweh has been grieving over humanity for nearly six thousand years, we who call ourselves Christians should not be adding to it.

Eph 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [do not offend or vex or sadden Him], by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God's own, secured) for the day of redemption (of final deliverance through Christ from evil and the consequences of sin). AMP

Compare some of these Old Testament ideas of Korah and Moses to Paul and John’s New Testament ideas.

Psalms 47:5 305-3588-2316ανέβη ο θεός God ascended 1722εν in 213.2αλαλαγμώ a shout; 2962κύριος the lord 1722εν with 5456φωνή the sound 4536σάλπιγγος of a trumpet.

Korah notes that God ascended with a shout and a trumpet blast, then Paul notes that God descends with a shout and a trumpet blast.

We see Paul talking about the dead in Christ rising, and again in 1 Corinthians, the trumpet blast and the dead rising.

Comparing this to Leviticus which is the start of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah, there is a trumpet blast then a memorial for the dead. The dead rise and Moses told people to use the first day of the New Year to remember the dead. Following that day was to be ten days of introspection and repentance. The comparison of what Paul was writing in Thessalonians and Corinthians was to mimic Leviticus. I’m not saying the harpazo happens on the Feast of Trumpets, but it very well could. Now let’s compare John’s words. We have trumpets, shouts, and ascensions.

These are some elements of the Day of Redemption. The idea that we, the redeemed, are seized on that day means that we do not stroll or take our time deciding, we are snatched, harpazo’d. The redeemed are being marked now. This should ease some of our grief. This should make fighting our daily battle a little easier. This should help us to understand a rescue mission is underway. We will not be POW’s forever. Redemption is near.

Ezra has a conversation with a voice that sounded like many waters.

2 Esd 6:17-28 And it happened, that when I had heard it I stood up upon my feet, and hearkened, and, behold, there was a voice that spake, and the sound of it was like the sound of many waters.18 And it said, Behold, the days come, that I will begin to draw nigh, and to visit them that dwell upon the earth,19 And will begin to make inquisition of them, what they be that have hurt unjustly with their unrighteousness, and when the affliction of Sion shall be fulfilled;20 And when the world, that shall begin to vanish away, shall be finished, then will I shew these tokens: the books shall be opened before the firmament, and they shall see all together:21 And the children of a year old shall speak with their voices, the women with child shall bring forth untimely children of three or four months old, and they shall live, and be raised up.22 And suddenly shall the sown places appear unsown, the full storehouses shall suddenly be found empty:

When the Lord visits at the full affliction of Zion, the world age will be almost finished. The heavenly books shall be opened in heaven like the door in heaven. Children will be able to talk, and the places where seeds were sown will be plowed and the storehouses of the saints will be emptied. The trumpet will sound and those left on earth will fight amongst themselves and become enemies.

2 Esd 6:23 And the trumpet shall give a sound, which when every man heareth, they shall be suddenly afraid.24 At that time shall friends fight one against another like enemies, and the earth shall stand in fear with those that dwell therein, the springs of the fountains shall stand still, and in three hours they shall not run.25 Whosoever remaineth from all these that I have told thee shall escape, and see my salvation, and the end of your world.26 And the men that are received shall see it, who have not tasted death from their birth: and the heart of the inhabitants shall be changed, and turned into another meaning.27 For evil shall be put out, and deceit shall be quenched.28 As for faith, it shall flourish, corruption shall be overcome, and the truth, which hath been so long without fruit, shall be declared. KJV

The humans left on earth will be in fear, and if someone can withstand the tribulation by confession of Jesus as Lord, at the end of the world they will receive salvation. Evil will be put out, the Beast destroys Babylon, and the Lamb and His armies destroy the Beast. Faith flourishes during the tribulation and corruption shall be overcome. Jesus, the way, the truth, and the life, will reign on earth as King.

Today, however, we grieve. Today Elohim grieves. Today Yahweh asks us “where are you?” Where are we? Are we like the religious leaders of Jesus’ day who kept the laws they wanted to, or hardened their hearts so much that healing a man was somehow bad on the Sabbath? Jesus changed the rules and Jesus expected us to live a new way. Instead of throwing stones and attempting to regulate the discipleship of non-believers with laws, we could instead explain our human condition and the battle we are in to non-believers. We could also do our best not to grieve Yahweh or the Holy Spirit since they have been grieving over humanity from the time of Adam’s sin. We could lead people to the Day of Redemption so that there will be a few more people entering into the age to come. We also can turn our grief into stamina for our daily battle.  

The First Murderer; Christians Killing Christianity; the Demise of Christian “Like and Share” Click Bait

There was a murderer before Cain, Jesus names him. Last week we looked at demons and what they know and what the ancients knew about them. Today we have hidden much of this knowledge and when we see so much evil broadcast in our media we tend to forget that evil is a matter of the heart not a matter of weaponry. Humans have been murdered by various means, but the reason behind it is a matter of heart. Instead of focusing on the heart, we attempt to correct evil by managing physical implements rather than understanding the root of the problem. That root cannot be eradicated from the earth until Jesus comes to reign, but we can do our best to keep it bound until that time. The who, what, and why of murder on earth can give us the necessary information so that we know how to respond to these situations.

Another thing regarding murder is that because Christians are unaware of the schemes of the devil they are being used to murder Christianity. While “Christianity” is a loose term, really the Body of Christ is imploding upon itself due to its self-righteous opinions broadcast to the world via social media. There are far too many voices blaring across the airwaves that are defying things Jesus told us. While in part we can point a finger at a lack of knowledge of the scripture, we also have to recognize the scheme of the devil to use some people as tools to enact his plans.  

The Book of Jubilees was written by Moses as told to him by angels. The origination of evil spirits, and corruption of mankind are illuminated in this writing and it helps us to understand some of the ideas and terms in the canon of the Bible. The angels report that when they come before God they report all the sins going on in heaven and earth. This would be why we see from Job the sons of God meeting at regularly scheduled times to give an account, and we see satan there accusing people. Revelation declares that satan accuses us before the throne day and night, how truly annoying. Let’s explore Jubilees.

Jubilees 4:5. And on this account it is written on the heavenly tables, "Cursed is he who smiteth his neighbour treacherously, and let all who have seen and heard say, So be it; and the man who hath seen and not declared (it), let him be accursed as the other." And for this reason we announce when we come before the Lord our God all the sin which is committed in heaven and on earth, and in light and in darkness, and everywhere. http://www.sacred-texts.com/bib/jub/jub16.htm

There is a public responsibility to denounce murder, and those who do not denounce it are cursed along with murderers. Next, the angel is talking about Enoch, and as we read from the Book of Enoch we know that the fallen angels asked Enoch to intercede for them

Jubilees 4:22. And he testified to the Watchers, who had sinned with the daughters of men; for these had begun to unite themselves, so as to be defiled, with the daughters of men, and Enoch testified against (them) all. http://www.sacred-texts.com/bib/jub/jub17.htm

Now we get into the understanding of the progeny of earth women and angels. Everything became corrupt. Take note, first there was Adam and Eve, then the devil stole rulership of the earth from Adam. After five generations, from Adam to Jared, the angels started to take earthly woman and procreate. Even though Cain murdered Abel, the angels had not yet fallen. So there was a time when the earth was not corrupted by fallen angels/demons, but was corrupted by the devil alone. The devil influenced Cain, not demons, as demons had not been created out of the union of angels and earth women yet. All flesh became corrupt.

Jubilees 5:1. And it came to pass when the children of men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born unto them, that the angels of God saw them on a certain year of this jubilee, that they were beautiful to look upon; and they took themselves wives of all whom they chose, and they bare unto them sons and they were giants. 2. And lawlessness increased on the earth and all flesh corrupted its way, alike men and cattle and beasts and birds and everything that walketh on the earth-all of them corrupted their ways and their orders, and they began to devour each other, and lawlessness increased on the earth and every imagination of the thoughts of all men (was) thus evil continually.  3. And God looked upon the earth, and behold it was corrupt, and all flesh had corrupted its orders, and all that were upon the earth had wrought all manner of evil before His eyes. 4. And He said: "I shall destroy man and all flesh upon the face of the earth which I have created." 5. But Noah found grace before the eyes of the Lord.  6. And against the angels whom He had sent upon the earth, He was exceedingly wroth, and He gave commandment to root them out of all their dominion, and He bade us to bind them in the depths of the earth, and behold they are bound in the midst of them, and are (kept) separate. 7. And against their sons went forth a command from before His face that they should be smitten with the sword, and be removed from under heaven.

As we know from studying Enoch and the Secrets of Enoch there is a special place for these fallen angels.

The Secrets of Enoch 18:1 THE men took me on to the fifth heaven and placed me, and there I saw many and countless soldiers, called Grigori, of human appearance, and their size was greater than that of great giants and their faces withered, and the silence of their mouths perpetual, and there was no service on the fifth heaven, and I said to the men who were with me: 2 Wherefore are these very withered and their faces melancholy, and their mouths silent, and wherefore is there no service on this heaven? 3 And they said to me: These are the Grigori, who with their prince Satanail rejected the Lord of light, and after them are those who are held in great darkness on the second heaven, and three of them went down on to earth from the Lord's throne, to the place Ermon, and broke through their vows on the shoulder of the hill Ermon and saw the daughters of men how good they are, and took to themselves wives, and befouled the earth with their deeds, who in all times of their age made lawlessness and mixing, and giants are born and marvellous big men and great enmity. 4 And therefore God judged them with great judgement, and they weep for their brethren and they will be punished on the Lord's great day.  http://www.sacred-texts.com/bib/fbe/fbe125.htm

It is interesting that there are also some fallen angels in the second heaven. As we continue, the Watchers went against the law of their ordinances. Jude says they left their habitation, or they took off their spiritual bodies. Noah recounts these events to his heirs.

Jubilees 7:21. For owing to these three things came the flood upon the earth, namely, owing to the fornication wherein the Watchers against the law of their ordinances went a whoring after the daughters of men, and took themselves wives of all which they chose:  and they made the beginning of uncleanness. 22. And they begat sons the Nâphîdîm, and †they were all unlike†, and they devoured one another: and the Giants slew the Nâphîl, and the Nâphîl slew the Eljô, and the Eljô mankind, and one man another. 23. And every one sold himself to work iniquity and to shed much blood, and the earth was filled with iniquity.  24. And after this they sinned against the beasts and birds, and all that moveth and walketh on the earth:  and much blood was shed on the earth, and every imagination and desire of men imagined vanity and evil continually.  25. And the Lord destroyed everything from off the face of the earth; because of the wickedness of their deeds, and because of the blood which they had shed in the midst of the earth He destroyed everything. 26. "And we were left, I and you, my sons, and everything that entered with us into the ark, and behold I see your works before me that ye do not walk in righteousness; for in the path of destruction ye have begun to walk, and ye are parting one from another, and are envious one of another, and (so it cometh) that ye are not in harmony, my sons, each with his brother. 27. For I see, and behold the demons have begun (their) seductions against you and against your children, and now I fear on your behalf, that after my death ye will shed the blood of men upon the earth, and that ye, too, will be destroyed from the face of the earth. 28. For whoso sheddeth man's blood, and whoso eateth the blood of any flesh, will all be destroyed from the earth.

Clearly, there arose three races that came from the union of angels and humans, Gibborim, Nephilim, and the Elioud. And when these half breed or demi-gods died, their spirits were not human. Angels don’t die, therefore a being that is part human and part angel has a different spirit and the spirits of those beings did not have a place to go. They became what we know as demons and they seduce humans. Noah is recounting history to his heirs as to what has gone on because they are being seduced into hating each other. Noah survives the flood with three sons only to have his grandsons start fighting among themselves. 

Jubilees 10:2. And the sons of Noah came to Noah their father, and they told him concerning the demons which were, leading astray and blinding and slaying his sons' sons……3 God of the spirits of all flesh, who hast shown mercy unto me, And hast saved me and my sons from the waters of the flood, And hast not caused me to perish as Thou didst the sons of perdition; 

Noah’s sons now are concerned that their children are killing each other. They want Noah to pray to get rid of these demons. God bound 90% of them. Part of Noah’s prayer makes mention of the “sons of perdition”, we see that term son/s or people of perdition in the Bible many times. Perdition means “utter destruction or eternal damnation”. Noah as well as other Bible authors recognize that there are people who are “sons of eternal damnation”. Let’s read Ecclesiasticus.

Ecclus 16:6-9 In the congregation of the ungodly shall a fire be kindled; and in a rebellious nation wrath is set on fire.7 He was not pacified toward the old giants, who fell away in the strength of their foolishness.8 Neither spared he the place where Lot sojourned, but abhorred them for their pride.9 He pitied not the people of perdition, who were taken away in their sins: KJV

Satan wanted some demon spirits to do his work of enticing men so that then satan would judge them for falling into sin. Seems kind of mean, and yet because satan is “the god of this world” we are stuck under his judgments if we sin.

Jubilees 10:8. And the chief of the spirits, Mastêmâ,  came and said: "Lord, Creator, let some of them remain before me, and let them hearken to my voice, and do all that I shall say unto them; for if some of them are not left to me, I shall not be able to execute the power of my will on the sons of men; for these are for corruption and leading astray before my judgment, for great is the wickedness of the sons of men." 9. And He said: "Let the tenth part of them remain before him, and let nine parts descend into the place of condemnation." 

Mastema is used here for the Hebrew Mastim, meaning “adversary”, the word we use for satan. Look at these words carefully. Demons were not under satan’s command before this time. These demons had no leader until now. The ones left on earth were to be used to enact satan’s judgment of mankind. If man is enticed to sin then satan can carry out judgment on him. This is why we see the elohim of evil executing judgment against humans in the Bible. And just like satan offering Jesus the kingdoms of the world if he would bow, satan has the command of the kingdoms of the world. He has command of demons and they inflict judgment on humans when humans behave badly. The angel that was sharing information with Moses goes on to share a remedy for Noah’s heirs.

Jubilees 10:10. And one of us He commanded that we should teach Noah all their medicines; for He knew that they would not walk in uprightness, nor strive in righteousness. 11. And we did according to all His words: all the malignant evil ones we bound in the place of condemnation, and a tenth part of them we left that they might be subject before Satan on the earth. 12. And we explained to Noah all the medicines of their diseases, together with their seductions, how he might heal them with herbs of the earth. 13. And Noah wrote down all things in a book as we instructed him concerning every kind of medicine. Thus the evil spirits were precluded from (hurting) the sons of Noah. 14. And he gave all that he had written to Shem, his eldest son; for he loved him exceedingly above all his sons. 

The remedy to demonic attack which causes sickness and disease was medicines. The medicines, which were herbs, precluded the demons from permanently hurting humans. In other words, the herbs were for healing sicknesses that came on men because they did not walk upright or strive in righteousness. What we want to understand here is that the devil is a man-killer. The literal Greek word for murderer is “man-killer”. The devil was a man-killer from the beginning of the age, when he stole Adam’s rulership of the earth. Remember that Adam received a death sentence and died before he turned 1000 years of age, which is equal to one day. Adam died in the same day he ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. All Adam got was a knowledge of evil as he only knew good up until that time. With the knowledge of evil, he now knew that there was good as well because there was something to compare good to. Unfortunately, Adam ended up living under evil, when prior to that he had only lived under good. Satan is a man-killer.

Jesus was speaking to the Jews here, and murder is a desire of the devil. Therefore, when someone wants to kill another human being, they are of their father the devil. The devil is the father of lies and a man-killer. The sons of the devil are those who detest their brothers.

Man-killers do not have eternal life. And we are not to give place to the devil. Eph4:27 and we are to stand against the devil Eph 6:11. Jesus broke the power of death over humanity by taking back the keys to hell and death.

Heb 2:14 Since, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood [in the physical nature of human beings], He [Himself] in a similar manner partook of the same [nature], that by [going through] death He might bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death — that is, the devil —  AMP

Rev 1:18 And the Ever-living One [I am living in the eternity of the eternities]. I died, but see, I am alive forevermore; and I possess the keys of death and Hades (the realm of the dead). AMP

Jesus’ first part of his plan was to rescue the dead from Hades and take them to Paradise. Jesus’ second part of the plan is to rescue the redeemed, build an army, and take back the earth.

1 John 3:8-15 [But] he who commits sin [who practices evildoing] is of the devil [takes his character from the evil one], for the devil has sinned (violated the divine law) from the beginning. The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done]. 9 No one born (begotten) of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, for God's nature abides in him [His principle of life, the divine sperm, remains permanently within him]; and he cannot practice sinning because he is born (begotten) of God. 10 By this it is made clear who take their nature from God and are His children and who take their nature from the devil and are his children: no one who does not practice righteousness [who does not conform to God's will in purpose, thought, and action] is of God; neither is anyone who does not love his brother (his fellow believer in Christ). 11 For this is the message (the announcement) which you have heard from the first, that we should love one another, 12 [And] not be like Cain who [took his nature and got his motivation] from the evil one and slew his brother. And why did he slay him? Because his deeds (activities, works) were wicked and malicious and his brother's were righteous (virtuous). 13 Do not be surprised and wonder, brethren, that the world detests and pursues you with hatred. 14 We know that we have passed over out of death into Life by the fact that we love the brethren (our fellow Christians). He who does not love abides (remains, is held and kept continually) in [spiritual] death. 15 Anyone who hates (abominates, detests) his brother [in Christ] is [at heart] a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding (persevering) within him. This is our whole story, the devil was the first murderer who enticed Cain who was the first human murderer. Anyone who hates, has taken the nature of the devil and is a son of perdition, eternal damnation. Since Jesus came, we have a clear contrast as to who is of the devil and who is of Yahweh; but as we know from prior study, those in the Temple before the captivity of Judah to Babylon were corrupt. The prophets were outsiders crying out against the happenings in the Temple. We know there was male and female prostitution, abortions as sacrifices, worship of the Cherubim, the stars, demons represented by idols as well as general political corruption. Jeremiah was prophesying that they were doing these things and then by preforming a religious rite in the Temple, they declared themselves clean. This is not a prophetic word saying it could become like this it is a prophetic word saying it is like this; the Lord has seen it. Read this through twice, once in a regular tone and a second time yelling.    

Jer 7:8-11 Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot benefit [so that you do not profit]. 9 Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and go after other gods that you have not known, 10 And [then dare to] come and stand before Me in this house, which is called by My Name, and say, [By the discharge of this religious formality] we are set free! — only to go on with this wickedness and these abominations? 11 Has this house, which is called by My Name, become a den of robbers in your eyes [a place of retreat for you between acts of violence]? Behold, I Myself have seen it, says the Lord. AMP

This is the last place we should expect to see these abominations, but the devil was a murderer from the beginning and the father of lies. That should make us very aware that the best place to seduce people is starting with the houses of worship, be it a Temple or a Church. The devil is out to kill humans. If he fools the Church into behaving in a way that is wrong, and other non-Christians rise up to kill Christians, he has one way of eliminating Christianity. He also has another plan in place to murder Christianity.

As we have recently studied, Christianity is not a legal system and a religion like Judaism or Islam. Jesus clearly taught us this. Jesus expected Christianity to exist under any government or any national rule, not make Christianity the law. Christians today are shooting themselves in the foot. There are preachers that have great media campaigns calling for boycotts, but all they are doing is attempting to make Christianity the law of the land. That is wrong, and it is a shame people don’t read their Bibles and tell these false preachers to stop it. Recently a large Christian group decided to call for civil disobedience against the United States government if something they disagreed with should pass as a law. The funny thing is we hear from false prophets how Christians are losing their freedoms because non-believers are taking it away from them, but the reality is Christians are killing Christianity. If Christianity was supposed to be a legal system, Jesus would have given us a list of laws, just like Leviticus. He instead told us to pay taxes and live peaceably and to pray for our leaders. Jesus did not say rise up against governments you disagree with. In fact, Jesus told the people of that time exactly what would take place in the near future and told them to leave town. That fulfillment was 70 AD. Let’s understand, the church is being seduced into behaving like militants instead of walking in love. There are so many “click bait” Christians, saying many obnoxious things, just to get attention. Social media is the bait and the proud Christian who thinks they can generate attention by sending out the call to “like & share” what they say is only puffing up his/her own ego and wallet while doing the opposite of what Jesus said. I have the feeling that the big group calling for civil disobedience would have crucified Jesus sooner than the Jews did, and the loud mouth preacher who wants you to “like & share” his words would have been generating so much social unrest that normal people who follow a “name” or “ministry” would be guilty of Jesus’ murder as well.   

Yahweh is not unaware of the behavior of the priesthood in any administration, now or previously.  Yahweh has always told prophets the nasty hidden things that were going on among the religious leaders. These religious leaders killed those prophets, and the Jews of Jesus’ day admitted that they were the children of the murderers of the prophets. Hosea compares the priests to robbers.

Hos 6:9 And as troops of robbers lie in wait for a man, so the company of priests murder on the road toward Shechem; yes, they commit villainy and outrages. AMP

Jesus told us the same thing, that pseudo prophets are rapacious, they live on prey.

Matt 7:15-16 Beware of false prophets, who come to you dressed as sheep, but inside they are devouring wolves. [Ezek 22:27.] 16 You will fully recognize them by their fruits. Do people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? AMP

Who was the first murderer? Who preys on mankind? Who is the man-killer? Who is the father of the pseudo prophets? If one is part of the priesthood of today, the message of that individual should line up with the fruit of the spirit, correct? While those religious leaders might well be saved, satan has enticed them to think and act badly. Technically, this section in Galatians is in regards to the unsaved and unrighteous as a comparison to the saved and righteous, but these bad behaviors are evident in the saved and righteous too. So while the saved still inherit the kingdom of God, their actions draw people away from the kingdom of God. A masterful plan to destroy the Body of Christ, so that Christianity kills itself.

Gal 5:19-24Now the doings (practices) of the flesh are clear (obvious): they are immorality, impurity, indecency, 20 Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger (ill temper), selfishness, divisions (dissensions), party spirit (factions, sects with peculiar opinions, heresies), 21 Envy, (murders[5408]) drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, 23 Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge]. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires. AMP

Are we seeing love, joy, or peace in the social media campaigns of Christian Preachers and Christian organizations? Are we seeing patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, or self-control? Isn’t this the fruit we should be seeing? Sin may not be all that we think it is. Isn’t it sinful to act like the unrighteous such as described in Galatians? As sinful say as adultery? Why point out one sin and not the other. If we are supporting groups that inspire anger, or a demand for “rights” aren’t we being hateful and murdering? Remember, Jesus said that even if we say a bad word regarding someone we are murdering them. Ouch. We seem to be seeing more works of the flesh with our Christian groups than fruit of the Spirit. Again, this is the way the devil seduces the Church into killing itself.

Matt 15:17-20 Do you not see and understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the abdomen and so passes on into the place where discharges are deposited? 18 But whatever comes out of the mouth comes from the heart, and this is what makes a man unclean and defiles [him]. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts (reasonings and disputings and designs) such as murder, adultery, sexual vice, theft, false witnessing, slander, and irreverent speech. 20 These are what make a man unclean and defile [him]; but eating with unwashed hands does not make him unclean or defile [him]. What do you suppose false witnessing and irreverent speech are? We talked about blasphemy which is ascribing something to Yahweh that he did not do or did not say. Isn’t that a false witness? Murder comes out of our mouths. It starts in our hearts. We can see that we have a bigger problem than we recognize. We have to change the hearts of Christians first, then we can change the hearts of the unsaved by loving them into a relationship with Christ.

The very first murderer caused Adam’s death, seventy years shy of 1000 years. Sin is death and the first murderer knew that as time goes on man’s life would become shortened due to sin. Herbs are medicinal remedies which were given to mankind to help thwart sickness caused by demons; but not all sickness an individual experiences is demonic in nature, it is also due to living in a fallen world. If the devil inspired someone to poison the water supply, it is not the fault of the one who drinks the poisoned water, it is the fault of the man-killer that people are sick. We are sick in our bodies, in our minds, and in our religious practices, and maybe our water source is the problem; the place we are to drink spiritually. Are we filling ourselves with water poisoned by ravening wolves?

After Jesus reigns on the earth for 1000 years, satan the man-killer will be set free to seduce and lead people astray once more. He will inspire them to go to war against God’s people. That seems odd to most of us as we imagine that those living at that time will be happy, having Jesus as ruler and king, but there will be people who will be seduced. During the millennial reign we know where demons will be, in the dry places on earth.

Rev 20:7-10 And when the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his place of confinement, 8 And he will go forth to deceive and seduce and lead astray the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth — Gog and Magog — to muster them for war; their number is like the sand of the sea. [Ezek 38:2,9,15,22.] 9 And they swarmed up over the broad plain of the earth and encircled the fortress (camp) of God's people (the saints) and the beloved city; but fire descended from heaven and consumed them. [2 Kings 1:10-12; Ezek 38:2,22.] 10 Then the devil who had led them astray [deceiving and seducing them] was hurled into the fiery lake of burning brimstone, where the beast and false prophet were; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever (through the ages of the ages). AMP

Fire will consume the people who rise against the camp of the saints, and satan will meet his destiny. In the meantime however, we have to learn to adjust our behavior according to what the Holy Spirit says to us.

Rom 13:8-10 Keep out of debt and owe no man anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor [who practices loving others] has fulfilled the Law [relating to one's fellowmen, meeting all its requirements]. 9 The commandments, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet (have an evil desire), and any other commandment, are summed up in the single command, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. [Ex 20:13-17; Lev 19:18.] 10 Love does no wrong to one's neighbor [it never hurts anybody]. Therefore love meets all the requirements and is the fulfilling of the Law. AMP

The first murderer devised a scheme and those who don’t know it fall into it. Most of us would say we don’t like being misrepresented by a few loud and clueless individuals, and some would even be offended that a large Cristian organization blatantly ignores the scriptures. We’ve been suckered. Our organizations are no more than wolves devouring the sheep. Do we want to see revival? We won’t see it if we keep behaving the way we do. The devil is using demons to cause us to sin and not walk in love. But he doesn’t have to judge us immediately because he is using us to self-implode. The devil can simply use us to bring about our own demise. It is time for the true children of God to stand against the sons of perdition, the demons, and the first man-killer, by exposing them and loving each other. We also have to stand against those within the body of Christ who are in the social limelight that perpetuate bad behavior. If we can do that, even on a small scale, we can then lead the unsaved to Christ. Be careful what you “like and share” as it may sound good at first glance but in reality it may be in contradiction to the words of Jesus and the devil will find cause to accuse you.
