A couple of weeks ago we pondered how we can know the future. The future of the Creation has been written for about 1,935 years by John. It may not be our future, the future of the saints, but it is the future of the rest of the world. It is mapped out for us. Whether one believes it or not is the question. As surely as the prophecies of Jesus coming to earth the first time were fulfilled, and as surely as his crucifixion was predicted, John’s words will come to pass.
As we near the seventh trumpet John is told to prophesy over people, nations, languages, and kings. So instead of a straight timeline, as we have been seeing in ordinal numbers of seals and trumpets, we take a break for back stories and allegories. If we remember, the angel is swearing an oath that the seventh trumpet is about to sound and the mystery of the Elohim will be finished. Now John will clarify some of the other events taking place. Just as we might be watching multiple different sporting events at a sports bar, simultaneously, we need to describe them one at a time to give clarity. We might describe the football game first, then the golf match, and then the hockey game. We might talk about the soccer match after that. But while we are speaking about the soccer match, the other games are continuing forward. So John takes us into other details that have been happening at the same time as well as gives us an overview of the spiritual battle that is taking place as well. The timing here is very clear as we are told four times about certain events happening during three and one half years. There are also three “woes”. The first woe is the locusts in Revelation 9 who are under King Abaddon/Apollyon, Gog the locust king. We will look at the next two woes. The word woe is an exclamation of grief, it would be used as an interjection for emphasis in a statement, but in this section it is used as a notation of severe grief and agony for the people.
We pick up in Revelation 11 talking about measuring the temple. John is told not to measure the outer courtyard because it was given to the nations.
Revelation 11:2 G2532 And G3588 the G833 [2courtyard G3588 G1855 1outer] G3588 of the G3485 temple G1544 put G1854 out, G2532 and G3361 do not G1473 measure it, G3354 G3754 for G1325 it was given G3588 to the G1484 nations; G2532 and G3588 [2the G4172 4city G3588 G39 3holy G3961 1they shall tread G3376 7months G5062 5forty G1417 6two]!
Forty two months is three and one half years. Three and one half years is half of seven years. John is not prophesying about the three and one half years after the 6th trumpet he is prophesying about the three and one half years during the opening of the seals and first six trumpets. In these three parenthetical chapters of Revelation 11, 12, and 13, there are four mentions of three and one half years, Revelation 11:2, 11:3, 12:6, 13:5. Some might note that the number four is the number of man, alluding to this three and one half year period as mans reign. John is solidifying the timing of these episodes by mentioning the length of time of the events. The first three and one half year period is the length of time that the nations will trample the holy city. We also find out that in the three and one half year period the two witnesses are on the earth.
Revelation 11:3 G2532 And G1325 I will give G3588 to G1417 [2two G3144 3witnesses G1473 1my], G2532 and G4395 they shall prophesy G2250 [4days G5507 1a thousand G1250 2two hundred G1835 3sixty] G4016 wearing G4526 sackcloths.
The two witnesses are prophesying on the earth for three and one half years. This tells us that the two witnesses come to the earth when the saints are harpazo’d. This again gives us the timing of the harpazo of the saints being before the tribulation starts, keeping in mind that the Holy Spirit dwelling in us is greater than the anti-christ on the earth. Once the Holy Spirit leaves the earth with the saints, the witnesses come down. We noted that the two witnesses are Enoch and Elijah, the two men noted in the Bible that both still have their bodies. Moses does not have his body as it was buried under rocks at Baal Peor.

For three and one half days their bodies will lay in the Sha’ar Shkhem Square in Jerusalem, Sultan Suleiman Street. People wonder how the whole world could witness these events. This area is filled with cameras today, because it is a high murder area in Jerusalem. It will easily be televised.

9 G2532 And G991 shall see G1537 of G3588 the G2992 peoples, G2532 and G5443 tribes, G2532 and G1100 languages, G2532 and G1484 nations, G3588 G4430 their corpses G1473 G2250 [2days G5140 1three] G2532 and G2255 a half. G2532 And G3588 G4430 their corpses G1473 G3756 they will not allow G863 G5087 to be put G1519 in G3418 a tomb.
Not burying the two witnesses is an unclean act perpetrated by non-Jews to celebrate the unrighteous people overcoming the two righteous olive branches. The people are happy because they believe that all their tribulations will stop. They are in for a surprise. The unrighteous people will give each other gifts to celebrate, like Christmas.
Notice that Enoch and Elijah will be dead for three and one half days, specifically. This is mentioned twice here. Being mentioned twice or the number 2, means that it is established in numerical Biblical definitions.

As the dead bodies of Enoch and Elijah are monitored on the street cameras they will be broadcast, just like today, on social media as well as mainstream media. Enoch and Elijah will stand up. People will see it and fear. Then their bodies rise up while people will be speculating as to what happened. This event will be recorded as well as broadcast. The people on earth will see a cloud and the witnesses leave earth. Think that through. Where would the two witnesses be going? How would the two witnesses who were dead for three and one half days leave on their own? They wouldn’t, and some people will realize it.

This earthquake specifically targets the area of the square, aka the Damascus Gate. The people who saw all this on video will gather to check out the area, and then an earthquake will level a tenth part of the city. But there will be some who will give glory to God. This is the second woe.

As Enoch and Elijah ascend, they join the saints in the ceremony taking place in heaven. John now takes us to the seventh trumpet. This is moving forward in our timeline. This is the completion of the mysteries of the Elohim. Jesus will be coronated as King of kings and Lord of lords. Jesus gives rewards to his servants.

John breaks into his parenthetical prophecies to point out the seventh trumpet taking place. The angel says in chapter 10 that the mystery is finished at the seventh trumpet. The seventh trumpet brings the coronation of Jesus Messiah and the kingdoms of the world are given back to him. This means that once again Yahweh Jesus Messiah has become the Elohim of the world. The usurper, Satanas, has been dethroned at this time. The thunders say something that John was not to record so instead of recording it he allegorizes it in his next prophecy. Up to this point, Dracon and Satanas have been in charge of the world and so now we will see that they have one last opportunity to draw unrighteous people to them by being bound to the earth.
John explains signs in the heavens. When we look at Revelation 12 we want to keep in mind that one third of the stars were extinguished. Daylight is only lasting eight hours, while night lasts sixteen hours. One third of the moon and sun are also dark. People are always trying to relate verse 1 to the constellation virgo, the woman with the sun and moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. Today virgo does not have twelve stars as a crown. She may in the future but we don’t know that. The “woman” is Israel. Israel is always known as a woman. She gives birth. Then a dragon is seen in the heavens. Again the stars do not look the same at this future point in time as they do today. The Dragon drags one third of the stars (stars are angels) from heaven to earth. The idea of “drags” is the word surō meaning “taking to trial or punishment”. Remember, Peter told us that the angels sinned, and Dracōn was the one who is made to sport, prick, and goad, the angels. Dracōn drags these angels to earth for punishment. He tricked them, they fell, and he gets to punish them by using them for his purposes against the Creator Yahweh.

We also want to remember that Drakōn and Satanas are two different beings, two different enemies of Yahweh Jesus Messiah, the Creator of all things in heaven, earth, and under the earth.

Now we come to our third usage of the three and one half years.

The woman is Israel, she flees to the wilderness for three and one half years. Who did we see marked from harm in chapter 7? The 144,000 virgin males who have never lied. They will be hidden in a place where they will be cared for for three and one half years. This is Israel, Jacob, Jacob’s heirs.
Part two of this chapter is mentioning the war in heaven. This has not taken place in our time as some speculate. Yes the fallen angels acting on behalf of Satanas and Drakōn as principalities and powers, who oppose the angels of the Most High Elohim, Daniel 10, and battle with the saints on the earth today are here now, but this is not the battle of 12:7. As we know that Drakōn and Satanas still accuse us before the Elohim day and night. They are always looking for a way to enact a punishment for any infraction that we might have made. We overcome by the blood of the Lamb. Therefore this has not happened yet. John says to the people dwelling in heaven to be glad.
Revelation 12:12 G1223 Because of G3778 this G2165 be glad, G3588 O G3772 heavens, G2532 and G3588 O ones G1722 [2in G1473 3them G4637 1encamping]! This is the third woe. If we put it into timeline form we realize that this takes place after the two witnesses are risen from the dead and the earthquake kills the seven thousand people near the Damascus Gate. What happens next? As we know, the two witnesses join the saints in the coronation of Jesus Messiah being crowned at the seventh trumpet. Then the kingdoms of the world will become the kingdoms of our Lord and Messiah and he shall reign forever. This is when Drakōn and Satanas are displaced in the heavens, cast to earth, as Jesus has become King of kings and Lord of lords. The lease stolen from the adam is up, the mystery of the Creator ruling his creation is made known.

The women is described as fleeing to the wilderness by the great wings of an eagle. People fly all over the place today, in airplanes. We do not know how these people will fly, but they will fly to the wilderness for three and one half years, a time, times, and half a time. The serpent tries to drown the woman and all the 144,000, but the earth opens and the water is abated in the earth. Drakōn is mad and goes to make war against the rest of her seed who now have come to believe on Jesus Messiah.
Revelation 12;17 G2532 And G3710 [3was provoked to anger G3588 1the G1404 2dragon] G1909 against G3588 the G1135 woman, G2532 and G565 it went forth G4160 to make G4171 war G3326 with G3588 the G3062 rest G3588 G4690 of her seed, G1473 G3588 of the ones G5083 giving heed to G3588 the G1785 commandments G3588 G2316 of God, G2532 and G2192 having G3588 the G3141 testimony G3588 G* of Jesus.
This entire chapter is a spiritual look at what is going on. A Messiah comes from Israel to take back the Creation he created. The enemies of the Elohim try to thwart the creation and the Creator but they fail. Some of the seed of the woman are preserved for three and one half years and others now have the testimony of Jesus.
Meanwhile, as all the seals are opening, trumpets are sounding, and the 144,000 are marked and escape by flight to a safe place, a world leader rises up. This world leader worships the dragon, Drakōn. People try to determine which countries these would be but as we have pointed out, the world populations will steadily dwindle to half its current population, and its concentrations will be centered in the middle east. We do not know what the national maps will look like at this future time as the saints will not be on the earth.
This beast is a man who suffers a mortal wound.

This man who is a world leader dies and is risen up from the dead. This is a parallel to Jesus Messiah.

This is going on in the world after the saints leave and the two witnesses come down to earth, while the 144,000 are being hidden in the wilderness. This first beast is a man, the second beast is the unholy spirit.
Revelation 13:11 G2532 And G1492 I saw G243 another G2342 beast G305 ascending G1537 from out of G3588 the G1093 earth, G2532 and G2192 he had G2768 [2horns G1417 1two] G3664 likened G721 to a lamb; G2532 and G2980 he spoke G5613 as G1404 a dragon.

The unholy beast-spirit makes the people on earth worship the man-beast who was raised from the dead. Now the unholy beast-spirit will manufacture an image of the man-beast and give the image breath so it can speak.
Revelation 13:13 G2532 And G4160 he works G4592 [2signs G3173 1great] G2532 and G4442 fire, G2443 that G1537 from out of G3588 the G3772 heaven G2597 it should come down G1909 upon G3588 the G1093 earth G1799 before G3588 G444 men.
14 G2532 And G4105 he misleads G3588 the ones G1699 of mine, G3588 of the ones G2730 dwelling G1909 upon G3588 the G1093 earth, G1223 by G3588 the G4592 signs G3739 which G1325 were given G1473 to him G4160 to do G1799 before G3588 the G2342 beast, G3004 saying G3588 to the ones G2730 dwelling G1909 upon G3588 the G1093 earth G4160 to make G1504 an image G3588 to the G2342 beast G3739 which G2192 had G3588 the G4127 wound G3588 of the G3162 sword, G2532 and G2198 lived.

Here we have the obvious reason for all the martyrdoms. People will be refusing to worship the image of the beast. When the son of perdition sits in the holy of holies and claims to be god, people will realize that they were deceived. Then when people are forced to worship the beast’s image more will reject him. The two witnesses are doing mightier miracles than the man-beast and the unholy beast-spirit.

As the man-beast and the unholy beast-spirit establish their world kingdom they are only established over half of the population at first. The rest of the population which consists of Babylon, atheists, and the Jews, will be killed by the beast as we find out later, during the next three and one half years. Meanwhile the beast establishes a monetary system apart from Babylon. Everyone using it must be marked. The mark is not a number it is a phrase.
Here we see further explanation of the number 666. It is not the number of a man, it is the arithmetic or sum total, counting or rising up, of a man, the man wearing this symbol. It is computing, counting, reckoning, estimating, adding up, or totaling.
We could read verse 18 this way: Let him that hath understanding compute the sum total of the beast: for it is the sum total of a man; and his sum total is…..
In modern speak we would say “put it all together” or “add everything up” or “do the math” regarding the beast.
People will imprint something upon their hand or their forehead, or wear an armband or headband. Most Bible translators have mistakenly thought that this was an actual number. It is not. It is not Greek at all, it is Arabic. Notice how the definitions are not well defined, calling this combination of symbols obsolete and vain speculation.

Now look at this from the Tischendorf Greek, these are not Greek letters, these are Arabic. Anyone who reads Arabic can read this. Reading from right to left these two symbols ξϛ' read:
χξϛ'.

The two letters are slightly tilted downward to the right. The third symbol χ is understood as a double sword, in which the bottom of the χ actually has two “feet”.
Let’s read this again:

John is saying “do the math, calculate the statistics and put it all together”.
Remember what Paul told us about the son of perdition, he goes into the holy of holies, sits down and does not die and then when he comes out he claims that he is god. This is what the first beast does. He dies, Apolloyon/Abaddon raises him up, he then sits in the holy of holies and comes out saying that he is god.

The world monetary system will be tied to the religion of the majority. It is well known that the people of this majority have been planning to take over the world since 610 AD. They prophetically await their leader who will make it a reality. The key here is people who live under the control of the beast will be subjected to the beasts monetary system just as they will be subject to the beasts religious system. There will be no other options, no other lifestyles, no other independence of thoughts and ideas. The earth will start to form a worldwide tyranny the first three and one half years of the tribulation culminating into a full one world government, one world religion, and one world monetary system. The naïveté of people who wish for this system of governance to operate today do not realize that it will not be to their benefit. There will be no eclectic lifestyles. These naive ones are simply useful idiots.
The religious groups on the earth after the harpazo are the ones fighting over world domination. The population will have to choose a side, the beast, Babylon, or Jesus Messiah. If they choose Jesus Messiah they will be murdered by either of the other two groups. Ultimately this brings us to the halfway point of the tribulation after the seventh trumpet sounds. John has prophesied with parenthetical sections to explain to people what is taking place. Next we will see Jesus’ first act after he is coronated.
