It is hard to see ourselves as children of the Most High God. Realistically we want to think of ourselves as everyone else. In fact, the world wants us to think of ourselves as they themselves are, sinners without hope, who are destined for punishment. However, we are not destined for punishment if we are believers in Jesus Messiah and we confess he is Lord and believe in our hearts that he rose up on the third day. Everything about us changes. We then endeavor to learn about him, develop a personal relationship with him, and bring others to him for their own salvation. Yet there are many Christians who cannot see themselves as different from the world and they believe that they are destined for the wrath of the Lamb and the Father.
Some people deny the gathering of the church to meet Jesus in the air before the start of the tribulation. This event is called many different things in the Bible. It is a safety mechanism to make sure that people read it in many different ways instead of in one letter only, with one word. Also, if one or two letters were lost, the subject is included in other letters. The time Jesus calls from the air is sometimes called the “rapture”. Yes the word “rapture”, rapiemur, is in the Bible, it is a Latin translation to English for the Greek word harpazo, meaning “seizing” in English. Our old covenant scriptures had been compiled in the 250 BC era from the originals in the temple of Nehemiah under the direction of the high priest. Seventy two scribes copied seventy books that we now call the Septuagint. Our new covenant scriptures were written in Greek. The entire compilation including both the old and new covenant was copied in Latin, then into various other languages. Many people attended Roman, Greek, or Russian Orthodox churches where the scriptures were read in Latin. This is why the word rapture is used to describe the harpazo. It is the same word, which many older people remember being used in church.
The event of the harpazo is also called “the rising”, or “the rising up and away”, “the above congregation”, “the hiding”, and it occurs in both the old and new covenant. Paul describes the event with the same elements as the meeting in the wilderness where the Israelites got scared when they saw the lightning, heard the thunder, heard trumpets, and voices. The people told Moses to meet with Yahweh Elohim because they were afraid. With these things in mind we have to wonder why people are adamant that they will live through the tribulation even if they believe in Jesus Christ. While the answers mostly rely on believing what someone else told them, along with the emotions they felt when someone scared them with stories of future tribulation, rarely has anyone studied this event fully. Fortunately we have the tools to do it. But let’s focus on the rational aspect of who is gathered and why.
Paul tells us this:
1Th 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
Who is the “us”? This letter was written to the people of Thessalonica. They were being told by some pseudo-prophets who looked scholarly that the Day of the Lord had already passed. The Day of the Lord is the day Jesus comes back with his armies at the end of the tribulation. The people were fearful that they somehow missed the harpazo.
Jesus has delivered us by his own death and our own confession and belief in Him. This is the simplicity of who will be seized into the clouds to meet Him in the air. People who confess Jesus is Messiah and Lord, who make him Lord of their life, who believe he rose up on the third day, are believers in Christ. They are not punished by Jesus during the tribulation.
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Delivered from wrath. Saved from wrath. Not appointed to wrath.
1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
We see Paul’s comparison here, salvation or wrath. What wrath are we talking about? The wrath that comes from the heavens. When does this wrath come on the disobedient Jesus rejecters? During the tribulation.
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Wrath is revealed, apokaluptō. This is the apocalypse. The event Hollywood talks about as the “end of the world”. The Day of the Lord is the culmination of the wrath of the Lamb.
Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
At the opening of the sixth seal, after war, poverty, famine sickness, and the martyring of people who now come to confess Jesus as their Lord, people will see the face of the Father. They will see the wrath of the Lamb. Now think about this. Would it be justice to pour wrath on the people who believe on Jesus the Lamb of God? Would it be loving and kind to force the people who make Jesus their Lord suffer by his own hand? Of course not. Here is an older study regarding who are the children of wrath.
https://musingsofawinsomeheart.blogspot.com/2017/08/children-of-living-god-children-of.html
As we saw while studying the millennial kingdom, Jesus is willing to keep giving people chances. It is absolute blasphemy to say that Yahweh Jesus Elohim, our Messiah, is going to punish the people who believe on Him and have made Him their Lord. Jesus is not going to punish his people, he is however bringing wrath on the earth to those who rejected Him. Yet, even in that time he is giving people another chance. If someone rejects Jesus today, they will go through the tribulation. Then they have the option to receive Him as Lord. They may be martyred for that belief, but they have the option to make it into the kingdom of the Elohim if during the tribulation they receive Jesus as Yahweh and Messiah. If not, then they will have one thousand years in hades to think about that decision.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
All people who were not of the redeemed, will be judged by their works after the one thousand years. If we are believers now we are already judged for salvation, but we will be judged as to rewards. We are judged righteous. The white throne judgment is for those who rejected Yahweh Elohim before he came, those who rejected Jesus Messiah after he came, and those who spent the millennial on earth with Jesus as King of kings and Lord of lords, but still rejected him. Whoever is judged worthy by their works will enter the new earth. This is why there is still sin in the new earth. Whoever is found unworthy is cast into the lake of fire. Jesus does not want anyone to die. He simply gives people the choice.
We are different, we are of the redeemed now. We are not children of disobedience.
Eph 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Eph 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Eph 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
We might have once been children of wrath but we changed our citizenship, we have been made alive with Christ by grace. We didn’t earn it. We could not have done enough to earn it. Jesus did it for us. He sunegeirō “raise up together” all the people who believe on Him. He sugkathizō “seat in company with” all the redeemed in the heavens.
Notice that “in the ages to come” we will understand His exceeding riches, grace, and kindness. We will not understand His exceeding riches, grace, and kindness, now. The principalities and powers will also understand his exceeding riches, grace, and kindness, toward us, in the future.
Col 3:6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
Clearly there is a difference between the children of the Elohim and the children of apeitheia, or unbelief. If we are believers we are not children of unbelief. It is really that simple. Walk in love.
Eph 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
Eph 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
Eph 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
Don’t do these things. Fornication is harlotry, including adultery and incest. Uncleanness is impurity, in other words be morally pure. Covetousness is avarice, greed and desire for wealth and material gain, which includes using fraud and extortion. This list is not hard to not do once one is saved.
The second listing is also a warning. Filthiness is obscenity and indecency. Foolish talking is also called moronish talking, or buffoonery. Jesting is in the sense of obscene jokes or humor in bad taste. The second group in verse 4 takes a little effort to refine ourselves, but by walking in love we are reminded that we are different.
Now Paul goes back to his list of verse 3 and says that the people doing these things, fornicators, the unclean, and the covetous person who idolizes wealth, does not have an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ, and the Elohim. Simply, don’t do the things listed in verse three.
Eph 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
If the list of verse 3 means those people have no inheritance what does the list of verse 4 mean? The second list are not hinge points of salvation, but we will be rewarded or not rewarded based on how much we take authority over our soul and body, for Christ. Then Paul sums it all up.
Eph 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Do not be apataō, cheated, beguiled, deluded, or deceived. If someone is a believer in Christ, that one has to live it. No fornicating, no impurity, and no hoarding wealth. Then we clean up the outside, no filthiness, no moronic talk, no obscene jokes. Because of these things comes the wrath of the Elohim on the children of disobedience. Everyone must ask themselves honestly if they are a child of wrath or a child of the Living God.
Living for Jesus is not easy, there is a target on the back of every righteous person.
Mat 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Hungering and thirsting for righteousness is a foremost characteristic of a child of the Most High God.
Mat 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Being persecuted for being righteousness is normal life on the earth, but the reward is in the Kingdom of Heaven, not just the Kingdom of God, but the inner Kingdom of Heaven. This is a great destiny.
Mat 9:10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
Mat 9:11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
Mat 9:12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
Mat 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Look at Jesus’ words carefully. He says that he did not come for the righteous, but for the sinner. He came to save the sinner. We are all born in sin. The Pharisees believed themselves to be righteous because they kept the law. Yet they skewed the law to elevate themselves above the people. Jesus came for the people who could not be like the Pharisees. The Pharisaical order became a cult. One could only join if they had the correct lineage. Then that one would have to go through years of training. But the younger Pharisees would never attain to the same pretend “righteousness” as the older Pharisees. This is how cults operate. No matter how hard one works at their own righteousness, the leaders judge everyone else’s righteousness arbitrarily, mostly making sure they fit in the club and do not upset the status quo. Churches do the same. I read about a rabbi that ran an ordination school who made students work in his yard, doing the landscaping. Then told the students that they had to take on a mistress. If they did those things then they would be ordained as rabbi’s. It is a cult. I’m sure the divorce rate at that rabbi school was very high.
David makes a good comparative case for the children of the Elohim and the children of wrath.
Psalm 1:1 G3107 Blessed G435 is a man G3739 who G3756 went not G4198 G1722 in G1012 counsel G765 of impious ones, G2532 and G1722 [2in G3598 3 the way G268 4of sinners G3756 1stood not], G2476 G2532 and G1909 [2upon G2515 3a chair G3061 4of mischievous ones G3756 1sat not]. G2523
“Happy male that not travel in advice ungodly and in path sinful not stand and on seat pestilent fellow not sit.”
The first thing that keeps us happy is for us not to follow in the advice of ungodly people. This is self-explanatory.
Psalms 1:2 G237.1 But G1722 [2 is in G3588 3the G3551 4law G2962 5 of the lord G3588 G2307 1his will]; G1473 G2532 and G1722 in G3588 G3551 his law G1473 G3191 he shall meditate G2250 day G2532 and G3571 night.
“But only in the Mosaic Law the Yahweh his will and in the Mosaic Law he practice day and night.”
Jesus modified our obligation in following the law when he told us to love the Elohim with all our heart, soul, mind, and to love our neighbor.
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
On these two things hang the law and the prophets, meaning these two precepts will fulfill all the law and the prophets. Now that the law is fulfilled by these two things we simply do this, love the Elohim with all our heart, soul, and mind, while also loving our neighbor as ourselves. There is no temple, we cannot keep the law without sacrifices, however Jesus is our sacrifice. We are righteous and redeemed by making him Lord and Messiah, believing he rose up on the third day. Anyone who wants to follow Mosaic law will die in their sins. The Messiah was the fulfillment of the law and prophets.
Psalms 1:3 G2532 And G1510.8.3 he will be G5613 as G3588 the G3586 tree G3588 G5452 being planted G3844 by G3588 the G1327 outlet G3588 of the G5204 waters, G3739 which G3588 G2590 [2his fruit G1473 G1325 1gives] G1722 in G2540 his season, G1473 G2532 and G3588 G5444 his leaf G1473 G3756 shall not G640.1 drop down; G2532 and G3956 all G3745 as much as G302 he should G4160 do G2720.1 will greatly prosper.
“And it will be like the wood the plant from the side of the channel the water that the his fruit gives in his fitting season and the his leaf not extracted and all how great under the circumstances manufacture is directed.”
Every tree which grows along a river is usually a very happy tree. It grows well. That is how we are if we love the Elohim with all our heart, soul, and mind, and love our neighbor as ourself.
Psalms 1:4 G3756 Not G3779 so G3588 the G765 impious, G3756 not G3779 so; G237.1 but G5616 is as G5515.2 dust G3739 which G1610.1 [3casts forth G3588 1the G417 2wind] G575 from G4383 the face G3588 of the G1093 earth.
“Not in this manner the ungodly not so but only just as if fluff that falls out the wind away from the face the earth.”
The word for dust here is “fluff”. If you have ever seen a cottonwood tree that sheds cotton, or a dandelion, or even milkweed, these plants emit seeds with a fluffy cotton that blows in the wind. The ungodly are like fluff in the wind. See the contrast, the children of Yahweh Elohim are happy trees rooted by a river, and the children of wrath are fluff blowing in the wind.
Psalms 1:5 G1223 On account of G3778 this G3756 [3shall not G450 4rise up G3588 1the G765 2impious] G1722 in G2920 judgment, G3761 nor G268 the sinners G1722 in G1012 the counsel G1342 of the just.
“On account of this not make to stand up the ungodly in divine judgment neither sinful in counsel righteous.”
The ungodly do not rise up for divine judgment, meaning they do not rise for the millennial kingdom, they stay in hades until the white throne judgment. The sinner is not made to rise into the counsel of the righteous, meaning sinners do not rise for the millennial kingdom. They too stay in hades until the white throne judgment.
Psalms 1:6 G3754 For G1097 the lord knows G2962 G3598 the way G1342 of the just, G2532 but G3598 the way G765 of impious ones G622 shall perish.
“Since come to know Yahweh way righteous and way ungodly destroy utterly.”
Yahweh has come to know the way of the righteous. He sees us. He also knows the way of the ungodly who are destroyed utterly. See the difference? Even in David’s age, his administration before Christ, David prophesied the difference between the children of the Elohim and the children of wrath.
Jesus put a spotlight on the Pharisees and scribes, calling them hypocrites.
Mat 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
Mat 23:28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
The outward appearance of some people is not an accurate portrayal of a child of the Most High God. This is something we should be aware of. How many times have people portrayed themselves to be righteous but we find out they are simply full of dead bones and all uncleanness.
Mat 23:29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
Mat 23:30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
Mat 23:31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
Mat 23:32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
Interestingly, Jesus points out that the Pharisees and scribes are claiming that they would not have killed the prophets like their fathers did. Jesus tells them they are filling up their father’s sins by killing the prophets and apostles. Isn’t that what they did? They hunted the apostles and prophets after they murdered Jesus using the Romans and their laws? Certainly they did fill up the measure of their fathers sins.
Mat 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
Mat 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
Mat 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
Mat 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
Have you ever been persecuted by others? Have you been persecuted by people in the “church”? What did it look like to the non-believers in that day, when the Pharisees were killing the apostles, prophets, wise men (Assideans), and (desert) scribes/Essenes? The fake religious leaders always attack the people that Jesus sends. However it is not lost on Jesus that the righteous are persecuted, even in their own home church.
Coming back to our original point regarding the harpazo, we have to understand that it is not up to us to judge who is seized or raptured, and who is not, but we can see that there is a difference between the people who follow Jesus and endeavor to live for Him, and the people who choose to reject Him.
I Thessalonians 4:17 (Vulgate) deinde nos qui vivimus qui relinquimur simul rapiemur cum illis in nubibus obviam Domino in aera et sic semper cum Domino erimus
The Latin words simul rapiemur translate as “we shall be raptured together”. Who is “we”? The children of the Most High God, those who confess Jesus as Lord and believe he rose up on the third day. We will not be the first ones ever raptured/harpazo’d, as Enoch and Elijah both were seized up to Yahweh instead of dying on the earth. Both have their bodies and both come back at the beginning of the tribulation as the two witnesses. They both will call people to Yahweh Elohim while we have been taken up off the earth. They will be killed and on the third day they will rise up and the whole world will see them.
Since Yahweh has harpazo’d people before, we know this isn’t a new idea. He will harpazo people after us as well. After his coronation Jesus harpazo’s the 144,000 virgin males who have not lied, from the twelve tribes. This is not an exclusive event meant just for us, yet it does tell us that there are conditions that have to be met. For Enoch and Elijah the conditions were holiness. They did what Yahweh asked them to do, and they both had a personal relationship with Him. We have Christ in us the hope of glory. We also have the Holy Spirit in us, as we are the temples of the Elohim. If we understand this position, clearly we are not like other people who reject Jesus as Lord. Yahweh Jesus Messiah is not going to destroy his temples. As for the 144,000 virgin males who have not lied, they will be young boys who will follow Elijah and Enoch who will also be sealed. They are virgins. They have not and will not lie. Do not make the mistake in thinking that a bunch of old sinners are part of this group. These are Yahweh Elohim’s conditions for harpazo.
I have had many people ask why the Christians are harpazo’d and not the Jews. The simple answer is because the Jews reject Jesus Messiah. Not all Jews reject Jesus Messiah. Secretly some believe Jesus died and rose up on the third day and they confess him as Lord, so they are no longer Jews, are they? No, they are Christians because they have “Christ in”.
Others ask why some people are harpazo’d and not others, the answer again is the same, do they confess Jesus as Lord? Are they children of wrath or children of the Most High God? Paul gave a list to give people an idea of who enters the kingdom of God. Many will enter the kingdom of God and some will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The choice is always our own.
Some people ask how a good God can harm the people of the earth during the tribulation time. The people living during the tribulation can confess Jesus as Lord and be martyred, they will enter the kingdom of God. Many Jews at this time will confess Jesus as Messiah and Yahweh. Jesus is giving them another chance to decide.
Daniel tells us that the prophecies were sealed up until the completion of the dispensation. They would be open at the time of the end.
Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Dan 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Dan 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Daniel 12:4 G2532 And G1473 you G* Daniel G1719.2 obstruct G3588 the G3056 words, G2532 and G4972 set a seal upon G3588 the G975 scroll G2193 until G2540 the time G4930 of completion! G2193 until G1321 [2should be taught G4183 1many], G2532 and G4129 [3be multiplied G3588 1the G1108 2knowledge]
“And you Daniel obstruct the logos and seal the scroll until set time entire completion until many teach and the knowledge multiply.”
The angel tells Daniel to obstruct the logos and to seal the scroll. That seems silly. Daniel went through all the trouble of writing it only to hide it from people? Yet the angel says that this is until the set time, the entire completion, until many people teach and knowledge multiplies. There is a set time to reveal prophecies. The time of the entire completion, sunteleia, is the consummation of a dispensation. The dispensation we are living in is completed at the harpazo. Then the time of trouble, tribulation, for seven years. Now we can understand what Daniel was talking about especially regarding the three and one half years during the tribulation.
https://musingsofawinsomeheart.blogspot.com/2022/05/obstruct-logos-peace-rest-and-apostasy.html
Dan 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Daniel 12:9 G2532 And G2036 he said, G1204 Go G* Daniel! G3754 for G1719.2 [3 are obstructed G2532 4and G4972 5sealed G3588 1the G3056 2words] G2193 until G2540 [2time G4009 1end].
“And said come Daniel because the logos obstructed and sealed until set time end.”
There is a process of unsealing the logos. What people knew three thousand years ago is different than what people know today. That is not in the sense of good or bad but in the sense of having more knowledge as a base to spring forward from. The logos being revealed is a process, a personal one and a corporate one. We all should be moving forward with the tools we have and the knowledge we gain. We could probably have a conversation with Daniel about computer technology in our day but it would take Daniel time to understand the way computers work. How did advanced computation start, how did communications links start, how did a machine store data. Also we would have to explain what social media is. All the details that go into something we consider everyday usage would have to be built upon for Daniel. The same holds true for the logos. The layers, the depth, the ability to pull all the books of the Bible together to form a cohesive message is the slow and steady unsealing of the logos.
Dan 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
Daniel 12:10 G1586 [2shall be chosen G2532 3and G1588.1 4whitened G2532 5and G4448 6purified by fire G2532 7and G37 8sanctified G4183 1Many]. G2532 And G457.1 [2shall act lawlessly G459 1 the lawless ones], G2532 and G3756 [3shall not G4920 4perceive G3956 1all G459 2 the lawless ones], G2532 but G3588 the G3540.1 intelligent G4920 shall perceive.
“Elected and bleached and purified by fire and made holy many and blame sinful and no not understand all sinful and the smart people understand.”
When we choose Him he chooses us, and as we walk the path of salvation we are bleached, purified by fire, and made holy. The sinful will be blamed and they will definitely not understand, but the smart people will understand. The smart people will understand the difference between the sinful and the holy. The smart people will understand the difference between the children of wrath and the children of the Most High God. The smart people will understand that they are not appointed to wrath but delivered from wrath, and saved from wrath.
There truly is an “us” and “them” when it comes to the harpazo and the wrath of the Lamb. Everyone can choose, it is not up to us to decide who goes where, it is up to Jesus, but the requirements are simple. We are to confess Jesus is Lord and Messiah before others, and we are to believe that Jesus rose up from the dead on the third day. Then we live for Him.
