From above, the earth is seen with many varied things all happening at once. A running child who scrapes their knee. The teenager riding a bicycle to a friends house. The person mowing the grass. The person doing laundry. The person wishing their work meeting would be over. The person getting ready for bed. The person sleeping. The person just waking up but who is late for work. Many things are happening. We can only see and experience one thing at a time. However the Elohim sees all things happening at once. In the book of Revelation John is seeing many things occurring together so he has to give us some back stories regarding these other events that are taking place while he is explaining the seals and the trumpet judgments. The parenthetical chapters are crucial to our understanding. They help round out the picture of world chaos. Since we have read the end of the book we know what other activities are happening at the same time. Therefore we will add those events as we move forward even if we have not read about them yet.
While the seals are being opened there will be 144,000 young virgin males, who have never lied, being sealed themselves. They will not be harmed during the tribulation. Their ancestors had been spread out all over the world due to the diasporas of the northern and southern kingdoms. The people sealed from the tribes of Jacob may not know that they are heirs of Jacob, but they will be protected from harm as this is Jacob’s remnant.
Something else happening during the opening of the seals is that the two witnesses will be upon the earth. The two witnesses come down to earth when the saints go up. These are the only two people that the Bible tells us still have their bodies. Who are they? Both of these men were taken up, harpazo’d, and both will come back to add to the earth’s chaos with signs and prophecies calling for people to come to Jesus Messiah. Enoch and Elijah are the only two who still have their bodies and both will be murdered and left for dead in a certain place for three days. The entire world will see them lying dead and will give one another gifts to celebrate their death. However on the third day they both will rise up. They will join the saints at Jesus’ coronation ceremony.

Some people speculate that Moses will be one of the two witnesses, but we know that Moses’ body was buried under rocks at Baal Peor. Moses was not caught up or taken up. Therefore Moses would not have a body to be murdered and left for dead in the street.

During the tribulation where will the world population will be centered? What does the map below tell us? The saints that are taken off the earth prior to the tribulation changes the dynamic of the world. If the majority of the world population is in the middle east during the tribulation then we have to look at the book of Revelation in light of that population center. The nations that have the most Christians now will be depopulated at the harpazo. The nations with the least Christians will be the most populated. Again that leaves us with the center focus as the middle east. This is where the power struggle will be.

Two entities will rise to power. One world power is Babylon. It is not the literal Babylon but the financial Babylon. This group will consist of atheists, Jews, and some Muslim groups. The other world power will be Muslims and those associating with them. We will break this down further a bit later but for now we have to understand the power players. One group will dominate trade and finance, one group will dominate people.

At the first trumpet there is hail, fire, and blood, cast upon earth. If we take another look at the map above we can see what one third of the trees being burnt would look like. We know that there aren’t trees in all locations, so if we cut out one third of the trees from where they exist on the world map we can see that would be a lot of trees. Also, all the green grass will burn up which is not specific to one third of the earth. If we look outside today, we probably see grass. We have to realize that at this trumpet there will be burnt grass. This tells us that there will have to be a worldwide drought as well. Notice this:
Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
Rev 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
Rev 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
The two witnesses will be on the earth for three and one half years. One of the things they will do is stop the rain in the days of their prophecy. A worldwide drought. This is why the grass is burnt by the hail-fire. There will be no rain to put out any fires. The witnesses will also turn the waters into blood. They will have the power to bring about calamities or plagues, plēgē. Notice the second trumpet.

A mountain or maybe a volcano will break away from the earth and fall into the sea. At this time one third of the sea turns to blood. Look at the map above again, one third of the waters surrounding the continents will turn to blood and one third of the sea creatures will die. Also, one third of the ships will be destroyed. If we thought that the people at this time could desalinate the water we see that it would take more than desalinization to clean the water from the “blood”. This may not be literal blood but red tide or toxic algae. Either way, the water will have to be decontaminated as well as desalted.
We should consider this statement that Jesus spoke.
Mrk 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
Mrk 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Since we have never seen anyone cast a mountain into the sea we might consider that this is one of the spoken “calamities” of the two witnesses.

A burning star falls from heaven called “Wormwood”. The potable water, the rivers and streams become undrinkable. Remember what Jesus told us in chapter 1 of Revelation? The stars are angels. This star is an angel, and this angel named Absinthium/Wormwood who turns the waters absinthium/bitter. We have seen angels called by their function or job. The job of this angel is to make the waters bitter, pungent, or acrid. Wormwood is also a botanical, Artemisia Absinthium, growing in Eurasia, Northern Africa and Northern America. In herbal medicine it is used to kill parasites. It is also used in alcoholic beverages. This star makes the waters bitter, and people die from drinking it.

At the fourth trumpet the heavenly lights go out. One third of the sun, moon, and stars go dark. The daylight will only last eight hours. This means it will become cold on the earth so that the warmer places will not be as warm and the cold places will be colder. The moon will only give light one third of the time. One third of the stars will be dark. No one will be able to navigate by the night sky. Night will last sixteen hours and the constellations will lose some of their stars so that they will look different. This also tells us that the prophecies written in the heavens will be unreadable by sight. People could still use computers to understand the logos in the heavens but the heavens will be silent.
Between the drought, the burnt grass, the blood and bitter waters, there will be cold and famine. Yet, as always, the rich world leaders will not suffer nearly as much as the poor.
At the fifth trumpet an angel lets out a bunch of locusts from the abyss. It causes the sun to go dark. Now the earth only has one third daylight but on this day the sun will go dark. The air will go dark from the smoke coming out of the abyss. This tells us that the abyss is not far from the earth. In fact the abyss might just be “in” the earth.

The locusts come out of the smoke. They have authority to sting. They are told to not injure the grass. Remember the grass was burnt up. However there is a period of time where now some grass has grown back. They are not to injure anything green or any trees.

They are only allowed to sting men, manfaced, who are not sealed. They do not kill men but sting like scorpions. Men will wish they would die as they are being tormented for five months.

They have some type of armor, they have long hair, teeth with fangs like lions, wings, and scorpion tails that sting. Since these are directed by the king Gog, they are not a random infestation, like a swarm of bees. They are directed and are obedient to their king.
If we remember, angels have names that correspond to their functions. Abaddon is a place, an angel, and a star. But this angel known as the destroyer/Abaddon/Apollyon, has another name. Gog.
Amos 7:1 Thus has the Lord God shewed me; and, behold, a swarm of locusts coming from the east; and, behold, one caterpillar, king Gog. 2 And it came to pass when he had finished devouring the grass of the land, that I said, Lord God, be merciful; who shall raise up Jacob? for he is small in number. 3 Repent, O Lord, for this. Gog is the king of the locusts (as mentioned in the Book of Amos) and Gog is also a place. If we look at Gog with the understanding that Gog is the locust king, the same destroyer who either passed over or killed the first born in Egypt and who also killed those who murmured over Moses and Aaron, we will understand Ezekiel 38 and 39 much better.

This is an interesting thought. At this point we might be wondering why Yahweh Elohim is still allowing these things to happen to people. We might wonder why such a good Elohim would allow people to suffer. Simply put he knows the hearts of human beings, of manfaced. The Elohim has given all men the opportunity to come to know Him. Some simply do not want to. Some people would rather be their own god and do what they want, because they think that there is no heaven or hell. They think there is nothing after this life. Therein lies their mistake. Some eagerly make an allegiance with the enemies of the Elohim, the traders, the fallen sons of God. Those people believe that there is some special benefit for doing so granted for them.
It is not Yahweh Elohim who wants suffering, the Elohim lets people choose what they want. People suffer consequences for their own choices. This plan as been laid out since Genesis 3:15 with ample resources to uncover the truth. Even if one simply reads the Bible without deep study, it is evident that there is going to be a hard time on the earth if that one denies Jesus as Messiah. The Elohim is not mad at humans, the Elohim is giving humans every possible way out, even martyrdom, to avoid eternal death. We could liken this to a stove top that is turned on. Touch the flame or heating element and it hurts, don’t touch it and we will be happy.
Then people say that they don’t know if they can believe that Jesus is the Messiah. They have so much pride that they can’t allow themselves to believe something they think might not be true. Instead of studying to see for themselves, they simply dismiss all discussion on the Messiah, believing that they are their own messiah and that their intelligence is superior to others. Again, with ample material to look into, there is no excuse. The reality is most people who are unbelievers want to be their own god. And even though they have never created anything or called anything into being, they are falsely confident that in their 40 or 60 years, they are the only god of their own lives. Did the Elohim allow them to go through the tribulation or did they chose that path for themselves? Did the Elohim allow them to touch the stove top flame or did they choose for themselves. The answer is both. The first action is the Elohim’s warning, the second action is on the part of the human who chooses and the third action is on the part of the Elohim who grants freedom of choice. This then is the answer to why there is a tribulation.
Peter explains this nicely. He tells us that the angels sinned. This is why the creation is in the mess it is in. Paul explains that it was the wisdom of the Elohim to create manfaced to judge the fallen angels. Paul also notes that the kaleidoscope wisdom of the Elohim is announced to the fallen principalities and powers through us, the manfaced saints. Then Peter also explains that the Elohim knows how to rescue the righteous out of trials, like Noah and Lot, while Paul explains that we the saints, are not appointed to wrath but instead harpazo’d before the tribulation.

The sixth trumpet sounds and looses four angels who were bound in the Euphrates. Now one third of the men will die. We started with 8.2 billion people on the earth, with 2.6 billion saints harpazo’d. This leaves 5.6 billion people on the earth. Again a noticeable amount of people gone. Then we see one quarter of the the population dies at the fourth seal, and we are left with 4.2 billion people on the earth. A noticeable difference for less than a three year period. Now we are closer to three and one half years into the tribulation and one third of manfaced is killed. This leaves the earth population at 2.8 billion people.
In three and one half years we have seen a population decrease of at least 5.4 billion people. This seems to be the dream of the elites, the people on the earth today demanding population control. The elites will soon realize that the worthless humans who fought their wars, harvested their food and kept their lights on were essential. This is why the beast and Babylon go to war. Babylon tries to manipulate the world population to care for them, or in other words enslave them. But the Beast is not going to go along with them.

The 2.8 billion people left on the earth will not repent for the evil they have been doing. They will not change their heart for Jesus Messiah. Instead they are hardening their hearts against their Creator, Yahweh Jesus Messiah. This is their own choice. They may think there is something they can do to change their circumstances, but there isn’t.

Something interesting is happening now. Six trumpets have been blown and one more is to come. Apart from the trumpets at this time an angel announces something. He is reading it from a book or scroll. When the angel cries out these words there are seven thunders that speak back. What did the angel read? What do the seven thunders say? Why can’t we know? This is something so secret that John is told not to write it but to seal up the book and not write the words the seven thunders spoke.

“That time no more will be”
The angel shares an oath and the result is that the delay will not any longer be.

The seventh trumpet will sound marking the completion of the mystery of the Elohim which the prophets evangelized. The seventh trumpet hasn’t sounded yet, but it will and the oath is in regards to the completion of the mystery of the Elohim.
The angel then gives John the little book and tells him to eat it. It tastes like honey but makes his stomach upset.

The angel says it is necessary for him, John, to prophesy to many people, nations, languages and kings. John does just that, even after his death, with this very book. Now we can understand that whatever the thunders say it is signaling the start of the seventh trumpet. The full and complete mystery will be revealed as the wrath of the Lamb is nearly complete. Then we will see the wrath of the Father upon the earth. John will give us some back story before the bowl judgments so that we can understand other aspects of this period of time.
