The Commissioned Kings; The Armies of the Elohim; Exodus to Millennial Kingdom; Psalm 68

David writes to us in Psalm 68 about history and the future. He covers the time period from the exodus through to our age, and then into the millennial kingdom. Translators didn’t always translate words the way David wrote them because they were trying to make the Psalm smooth, like a song. Yet by doing that we lose some of the deep meaning that David was writing about. It may be that the English translators relied on the Masoretic Text, which as we know is filled with intentional alterations, to understand the Greek words. But the Greek Septuagint is a far better, more accurate, and an older translation of the Old Covenant. David writes about the armies of the Elohim coming at the end of the age, but we miss that in our modern translations. Translators did not capture these important prophecies; they misunderstood the Psalm. David gives us a timeline, and he does so over three thousand years ago. We can compare this Psalm to the Book of Revelation and see some amazing similarities. Unless we dig deep here we would never see it. 

This is a song into the fulfillment or for the end of the age. This tells us that we can sing or recite this song because it will apply to our lives in our time since we have not reached the end of the age. We know that words have power on their own, but words that magnify the Elohim have life giving power. Now take the life giving power of the logos and put it to music. This is what David did. There are a few quirky translations here but we can muddle through them to make sense of what David was prophetically speaking. David had a vast understanding of the future millennial kingdom. We usually do not recognize David as writing prophetically about the millennial kingdom but he did. David understood the Messiah and our age as well. Let’s explore.

“Into the fulfillment song chant the David."


David wrote this song to be sung unto the end of the age. Words have power, whether spoken or sung, and words affect the living things around us.

The logos of the Elohim is living or alive. What are living words? Words that produce life as opposed to death. As with Masaru Emoto’s water experiments, we see that some words bring life to water’s molecular structure, observed by way of water crystals. While other words bring death. The water given words of life formed crystals that are beautiful, similar to snowflakes. While the water given words of death formed distorted water crystals. The experiments were performed with written words, spoken words, and music. It is a fascinating practical look at the effects of words which explains the word zaō used in this verse. 


The logos of the Elohim is also energēs, literally “in” en “action” ergon. How does a word show action? By the effect it has, like as with water crystals. The word has energy or power toward whatever it speaks to. The logos of the Elohim energēs the molecules of water to form a shape, the zaō, makes the shape beautiful. The water crystal experiment shows the power of negative words or the power of words of death. 


What we want in the world is a heavier balance of words of life rather than words of death. The tribulation period will be a time heavy in words of death, yet today we can change the balance on the earth. Therefore we can read or speak the written logos out loud and it will positively influence the living things around us. It will repel evil demonic beings and it will change our own physical bodies with the energy of life as well.


Psalm 68:1 G450 Let God arise, G3588   G2316   G2532 and G1287 let [2be dispersed G3588   G2190 1his enemies], G1473   G2532 and G5343 let [4flee G575 5from G4383 6his face G1473   G3588 1the ones G3404 2detesting G1473 3him]!


“Rise up the Elohim and scatter abroad his hateful and run away, away from his face the hating you.”


David declares for the Elohim to rise up and scatter the hateful enemies, causing them to run away. It seems like if the Elohim rose up the enemies would scatter away as fast as they could. This is what David is calling for, but not because he is lazy or doesn’t feel like fighting evil enemies, but because he is fighting evil enemies. David is working hard at doing the will of the Elohim, therefore he has every right to ask for assistance. The Elohim doesn’t need to help people who refuse to fight for him. This is a song into the end of the age or the fulfillment of the age, so it is something that we can still ask for today, ‘scatter your hateful enemies and make them run from your face’.


Who are the hateful enemies? They are the fallen sons of God who mutinied and now subvert the Elohim’s creation. Those fallen beings also have followers on the earth. Those are the enemies of the Elohim. 


Pslam 68:2 G5613 As G1587 [2dissipates G2586 1smoke], G1587 let them dissipate! G5613 As G5080 [2melts away G2781.1 1beeswax] G575 from G4383 the face G4442 of the fire, G3779 thus G622 shall [3be destroyed G3588 1the G268 2sinners] G575 from G4383 the face G3588   G2316 of God.


“Like as failing smoke cease, like as melting down bees wax, away from face, fire in this manner, destroy utterly the sinful away from face the Elohim.”


David is asking for a total destruction of the enemies of the Elohim. This is what the tribulation is for, the destruction of the evil enemies of the Messiah. They will ‘go up in smoke’ and melt like wax. When does this happen? At the end of the age or at the fulfillment of the age.


Psalm 68:3 G2532 But G3588 [2the G1342 3just G2165 1let] be glad! G21 Let them exult G1799 in the presence of G3588   G2316 God! G5059.6 Let them be made happy G1722 with G2167 gladness!


“And the civilized (equitable in character) cheer, jump for joy before the face of the Elohim they are deranged in joyfulness.”


When the Elohim stands up to fight for us who are civilized people, then jump for joy. David refers to those who believe on the Elohim as “civilized” as opposed to “barbarian unbelievers”. The people become deranged in joyfulness. This speaks of exuberant celebration. We had a few causes for exuberant celebration recently but it is no time for rest, the enemy will come back to spar again. Yet once again the finality of the enemies of the Elohim melting like wax comes at the end of the age and at the end of the millennial age. Remember, there is a lake of fire after the white throne judgment.


It seems funny that there are people in the church who believe civilized worship does not include jumping for joy. It seems like one of those “opposite” tricks from Satanas. David wanted people to show exuberant worship. He did not want people to be oppressed in joy, not allowed to sing, shout, clap hands, dance, and raise holy hands. Yet some people consider that uncivilized in the church. Funny. We should be deranged in joyfulness. David tells us twice. 


Psalm 68:4 G103 Sing G3588   G2316 to God! G5567 Strum G3588 to G3686 his name! G1473   G3597.2 Open the way G3588 to the G1910 one being mounted G1909 unto G1424 the west -- G2962 the lord G3686 is his name, G1473   G2532 and G21 exult G1799 before G1473 him! G5015 They shall be disturbed G575 before G4383 his face. G1473  


“I sing the Elohim pluck the his name, you made a road the mount on the west, Yahweh your name, and jump for joy, before his face are disturbed away from his face.”  


David uses a stringed instrument to praise Yahweh’s name. He says that Yahweh made a road that he mounted or rose up on the west. When David uses the idea of west, it is as if he is speaking of sunset or the evening. Yahweh comes in the evening and his enemies are agitated away from his face. We understand that Yahweh came to walk with the adam in the late afternoon, so David is simply referring to a visit from Yahweh as the sun sets.


Again, jump for joy in Yahweh’s name. We should enjoy worshipping and praising. We will be doing a lot of worship in eternity. We should not judge people negatively for their exuberance in Yahweh, they are practicing for later. We should be free to celebrate Him. 


Psalm 68:5 G3588 The G3962 father G3588 of the G3737 orphans, G2532 and G2923 judge G3588 of the G5503 widows -- G3588   G2316 God G1722 in G5117 [2place G39 1his holy]. G1473  


“The father the orphaned and judge the widows the Elohim in holy place.”


The Elohim is the father of the orphans. People without parents can take comfort in knowing that the Elohim is there for them. The Elohim is also the judge of the widows, meaning that he specifically looks on widows. David is saying that where the evil spiritual beings want to have an inroad in people’s lives such as orphans or widows, the Elohim is advocating for them from his holy place. What does that mean? In the courts of the Lord the enemy accuses us before the throne day and night. The Elohim steps in for widows and orphans, providing advocacy even without the widow or orphan knowing. Because of the administration change after pentecost, we are to go to the courts of the Lord and stand against our accusers and we now have the Holy Spirit as our advocate and defense attorney. David’s point is that widows and orphans are looked after by the Elohim.


Psalm 68:6 G3588   G2316 God G2733.1 settles G3441.1 simple people G1722 in G3624 a house; G1806 leading out G3975.2 the prisoners being shackled G1722 in G406.1 courage; G3668 in like manner G3588 the G3893 ones being greatly embittered, G3588   G2730 dwelling G1722 in G5028 tombs.


“The Elohim resides one way in dwelling. Lead out fetters in prowess. In like manner the rebellious the housed permanently in tombs.” 


The words κατοικιζει μονοτροπους translates “resides one way” meaning that there is no variable nature to the Elohim. The Elohim resides in singleness of motion. We might say that the Elohim is always the same in his dwelling. He leads the ones fettered in skillfulness. The ones in fetters are people who are captive by Satanas. The opposing type are those who are indignant and rebel, who will dwell in tombs. The Elohim is the same, he skillfully frees the fettered and houses the rebels in tombs. 


Psalm 68:7 G3588 O G2316 God, G1722 in G3588   G1607 your going forth G1473   G1799 before G3588   G2992 your people G1473   G1722 in G3588   G1224 your passing over G1473   G1722 in G3588 the G2048 wilderness,


“The Elohim in the your journey out before the face of the your people in the your crossing in the desert.”


The Elohim was out in front of the exodus generation on their journey through the desert. He gave them a cloud during the day and a pillar of fire at night. The exodus generation heard his voice thundering on the mountain when Yahweh came to meet with them.


Psalm 68:8 G1093 the earth G4579 was shaken. G2532 For even G1063   G3588 the G3772 heavens G4712.1 dripped water G575 before G4383 the face G3588 of the G2316 God G3588   G* of Sinai; G575 before G4383 the face G3588 of the G2316 God G* of Israel.

 

“The earth shakes and for heaven dripped away from face the Elohim the Sinai away from face the Elohim Israel.

David is calling the Elohim the “Elohim of Sinai”, the one who spoke to Moses on the mountain tops and the one who is the Elohim of Israel. The one who the people heard thundering on Sinai. The earth shakes when the Elohim shows up. It rains away from the face of the Elohim. 


Psalm 68:9 G1028 [2rain G1595 3as a voluntary act G873 1Will you separate], G3588 O G2316 God, G3588 for G2817 your inheritance? G1473   G2532 Even G770 it was weak, G1473 but you G1161   G2675 restored G1473 it.


“Rain voluntarily, you are aphoristic the Elohim, the your inheritance, and feeble but you downward complete it.” 


The word αφοριεις means “you are aphoristic” while ἀφορίζω means to “set off by boundary”. Aphorism is a statement of fact or a scientific principal that is an expression. The idea is the Elohim is a statement of fact. Rain is spontaneous or voluntary. The saying or motto might be something like, ‘rain is voluntary God is constant’. The Elohim’s inheritance, which is us, is feeble, but he completes it, or us, from above. 


This completes the idea from verse six that the Elohim is just one way in his dwelling, he is the same and he is constant. Rain drips away from his face, verse eight, and is spontaneous. These are points that we miss in our modern translations.


Psalm 68:10 G3588   G2226 Your living creatures G1473   G2730 dwell G1722 in G1473 it; G2090 you prepared G1722 in G3588   G5544 your graciousness G1473   G3588 for the G4434 poor.


“The your living things dwell in it prepared in the his goodness the beggar.”


While the earth and its inhabitants are the Elohim’s inheritance, which is all feeble, the living creatures dwell in the earth prepared for the poor in the Elohim’s goodness. 


Psalm 68:11 G3588 The G2316 [2God G2962 1 lord] G1325 shall give G4487 discourse G3588 to the G2097 ones announcing good news G1411 [2force G4183 1for a great].


The Yahweh Elohim gives rhēma the good news much forces (dunamis).” 


For the ones who Yahweh Elohim gives rhēma, which is the gospel, the good news, the Lord gives forces, or angelic aid. How else can one preach the good news in a realm controlled by Satanas. 


David starts to speak of the heavenly forces or the angel armies. He is going to give us some good information in his song. 


Psalm 68:12 G3588 The G935 king G3588 of the G1411 forces G3588 of the G27 beloved, G3588 for the G5611.1 beauty G3588 of the G3624 house G1244 to divide G4661 the spoils.


“The king the forces (dunamis) the beloved the beautifulness the dwelling distribute spoils.”


Who is the king of the forces or the God of the angel armies? Yahweh. Yahweh gives his people, who he loves, a beautiful dwelling and he distributes the spoils. Now? No this is Satanas’ stolen kingdom. He gives us those things after we die, paradise. We will have riches and live in a beautiful place. David understood paradise, and he understood the harpazo. David says that after we die something happens. The angels would surround him/us and take him/us to the upper heavens.


Psalm 68:13 G1437 If G2837 you should sleep G303.1 in the midst G3588 of the G2819 lots, G4420 the wings G4058 of the dove G4014.1 being silver plated, G2532 and G3588   G3346.1 her upper back G1473   G1722 in G5515.1 greenness G5553 of gold;


“If die, between the portion wings dove surrounded, and the their translation in chlorosis golden…”


The word περιηργυρωμέναι translates “surrounded” and the word μεταφρενα means “translation”. David is talking about angels taking him somewhere once he dies. He is surrounded by a portion of angels and they are translating people in greenish-gold in enjoining the above heaven. The understanding is that one day we will be translated to the upper heavens, which would be the time of the harpazo. Then something else happens; we are commissioned.  


Psalm 68:14 G1722 in G3588 the G1291 [2drawing apart G3588 3the G2032 1heavenly one] G935 kings G1909 upon G1473 it, G5507.5 they shall be made as snow G1722 in G* Salmon.


“…in the above heavens commissioning the kings on them, they are snowing in clothing (Selmon).”


A modern translation of χιονωθήσονται is “snowmobiles” or it could translate “they are snowing”. The idea is the commissioned kings are raining down like snow, or riding the snow and they are white. The word Salmon/Selmon is a name, but it also means “clothing”. It is not a place in Israel. The LXX-WH translates this word as selmon. Other translators try to make it a place in Israel, which is incorrect. 


What David is saying is that after he/we die and are in paradise, the forces are coming, taking us to the upper heavens, commissioning the kings, and then are all coming in white clothing like a blizzard. Have we ever heard of the armies of heaven coming out of heaven in white clothing? Will they look like snow from a distance? Aren’t we all going to be made kings and priests on the earth? David’s revelation of the future, that John would one day explain as well, is remarkable. David just explained that after death, there will be a beautiful place with spoils, then the harpazo to the upper heavens, a commissioning, and a return to earth in white garments, which will look like snow. Amazing! We miss this entirely.


The wrap up is that Yahweh’s inheritance is feeble, but he helps us. Yahweh gives us rhēma and we bring the gospel/good news to others. He comes with the heavenly hosts. He will divide the spoils among us in paradise. The forces come, taking people to the upper heavens, and then commission kings, who are wearing white at the end of the age, and it looks like it’s snowing when the Lord’s army comes to earth.


Psalm 68:15 G3735 The mountain G3588   G2316 of God; G3735 the mountain G4104.2 being plentiful; G3735 the mountain G5184.1 for making cheese; G3735 the mountain G4104.2 being plentiful.

 

“Mountain the Elohim mountain rich mountain swelling mountain rich.”  


No one is making cheese here and no one is curdling cheese either. David is simply saying the mountain of God are swells, like lumps, that are rich and fertile. Wouldn’t we all want to be on God’s rich mountains? The cheese translation is rather funny.


Psalm 68:16 G2444 Why G5274 do you undertake, G3735 O mountains G5184.1 making cheese, G3588 the G3735 mountain G3739 which G2106 God thinks well G3588   G2316   G2730 to dwell G1722 in G1473 it? G2532 For even G1063   G3588 the G2962 lord G2681 encamps G1519 unto G5056 the end.


“For what reason under take mountains swelling the mountain that well pleased the Elohim to dwell in it and for the Yahweh downward dwells into fulfillment.”


Again, no cheese here. Undertake or go to the mountain that Yahweh dwells on. What mountains are those? The mountains of Sinai. Horeb. Yahweh will dwell there into the fulfillment or the end of the age. In verse eight David mentioned that he is the face of the God on Sinai. David goes back to that understanding here. 


Psalm 68:17 G3588 The G716 chariot G3588   G2316 of God -- G3463.1 ten thousand-fold; G5505 thousands G2112.1 of prospering ones. G2962 The lord G1722 among G1473 them G1722 in G* Sinai, G1722 in G3588 the G39 holy place .


“The chariot the Elohim millions, thousands countless of times  (myrioplasion) Yahweh in them in Sinai in the holy place.”


Myrioplasion means “countless of times” meaning David sees countless chariots, numbering in the millions, or countless thousands with Yahweh in Sinai. Isn’t this why Elijah ran over four hundred miles to meet with Yahweh in Horeb? Today, one of the places presumed to be Horeb is restricted by barbed wire and Saudi armed guards. No one is allowed to go up the mountain. Thankfully we have had the outpouring of pentecost and do not need one mountain to meet with the Elohim. Yet in David’s time, David is recognizing Sinai as the place to meet with the Elohim. It is the place of his millions of chariots that will come to earth.


Let’s bring these ideas together. After we die we are in beautiful paradise. Then the forces take us to the upper heavens and commission the kings as they wear white and come to earth. David is saying that they come on God’s mountains, Sinai. They will look like snow falling because they are wearing white. No armed guards can stop the Elohim’s forces. No barbed wire will keep the armies of God back.


Psalm 68:18 G305 You ascended G1519 into G5311 the height; G162 you captured G161 captivity; G2983 you received G1390 gifts G1722 by G444 men; G2532 for even G1063   G544 [2 the ones resisting persuasion G3588   G2681 1to encamp among].


“Arise into elevation take captive captivity take gifts in manfaced and for disbeliever the downward encamp.”


As Paul notes:


Ephesians 4:8 G1352 Therefore G3004 he says, G305 Having ascended G1519 into G5311 the height G162 he captured G161 the captivity, G2532 and G1325 he gave G1390 gifts G3588   G444 to men


David understood Yahweh as the coming messiah. Jesus fulfilled this statement as he captured captivity. He took the keys back from death and hell which held captive the righteous saints. Then he came to be in charge of death and hades, making them his captives. He also gives us the gift of the Holy Spirit. David adds here that the Messiah will downward encamp, meaning that he will lodge around disbelievers. Another way to look at the word κατασκηνόω translated encamp is the definition “haunt”. The Elohim will haunt the disbeliever. Not like casper, scaring people, but as a Holy Spirit luring people to the Elohim.


Psalm 68:19 G2962 The lord G3588   G2316 God G2128 blessed. G2128 Blessed be G2962 the lord G2250 day G2596 by G2250 day, G2532 for G2720.1 you greatly prospered G1473 us, G3588 O G2316 God G3588   G4992 of our deliverances. G1473  


“Yahweh the Elohim blessed blessed Yahweh day downward day and descend us the Elohim the our defender.”


David denotes Yahweh the Elohim as apart from the Elohim. David says to bless Yahweh Elohim day after day and asks Yahweh to come down to us. He is our God who is our defender. 


Psalm 68:20 G3588   G2316 Our God, G1473   G3588 the G2316 God G3588   G4982 to deliver, G2532 even G3588 the G2962 lord delivering G3588 the ones G1327 at the outer reaches G3588   G2288 of death.


“The Elohim our the Elohim saves and the Yahweh the way out through the death.”


David uses the plural, the Elohim saves and then says that Yahweh is our way out through death. David again makes the distinction that Yahweh is the Messiah, the way out from death. 


Psalm 68:21 G4133 But G3588   G2316 God G4917 shall fracture in pieces G2776 the heads G2190 of his enemies; G1473   G2884.2 [2tops of heads G2359 1 the hairy] G1279 traveling G1722 in G4131.1 their trespasses. G1473  


“However the Elohim break in pieces head his hateful top hair of the head travel through in their misdemeanors.”


The Elohim is going to break some heads. Think about the enemies of the Elohim as we noted in verse one. David is not necessarily speaking of humans, but of the fallen spiritual sons of God. All the enemy defectors, who were tricked by Drakōn into mutiny and stole Yahweh’s creation are the ones who will be broken into pieces. As Peter mentioned, angels sinned. That is why we live under Satanas’ rule, angels sinned. 


Psalm 68:22 G2036 The lord said G2962   G1537 from out of G* Bashan, G1994 I shall return. G1994 I shall return G1722 in G1037 the depths G2281 of the sea.


“Yahweh say from out of Bashan turn around, turn around in depth sea.”


In his book the “Giant Cities of Bashan”, JL Porter documents the remains of a city of giants. Bashan was the city king Og was from. The Rephaim were known as the living dead or zombies. Yahweh is telling the heirs of the fallen angels to turn around, and not for salvation, but for war. Again, this is our entire purpose on the earth, to fight for the Elohim against his enemies.

Psalm 68:23 G3704 That G302   G911 [2should be dipped G3588   G4228 1your foot] G1473   G1722 in G129 blood, G3588 and the G1100 tongue G3588   G2965 of your dogs G1473   G1537 be stained G2190 [3enemies G3844 1from G1473 2his].


“In order that immerse your foot in blood the language your dogs, from out of hateful from the presence of him.” 


The heirs of the fallen angels are to turn themselves around, step in blood and howl like dogs because they are enemies of Yahweh. They will be a people of war and they will die apart from Yahweh’s presence. These are the hybrids on the earth, the mixed genos. These heirs of the fallen angels are a race of blood and they will bark and howl in the presence of Yahweh.


David understood his mission as a giant slayer, he decreased the number of hybrids on the earth so that Israel could grow. The hybrids constantly hounded Israel because Israel was to bring forth the Messiah and teach the world. Today we live in a time of the “flip” where the enemies of the Elohim have subverted Judaism claiming it as their own. We, unaware of the flip, cannot understand the secularism and the anti-Elohim behaviors in modern Judaism. In other words, the mixed genos/hybrids took over Judaism as world leaders and dominators on the earth. We are told to bow to their corruption because they were a persecuted poor people. See the flip. They will be exposed. 


Psalm 68:24 G2334 [2were viewed G3588   G4197 1Your goings], G1473   G3588 O G2316 God; G3588 the G4197 goings G3588   G2316 of my God, G1473   G3588 the G935 king, G3588   G1722 in G3588 the G39 holy place.


“Behold the your travel the Elohim the travel the our Elohim the king the in the holy place.”


David says that he sees the Elohim traveling. David refers to our Elohim as “king”, going into the holy place. The exodus generation saw the Elohim traveling with them as David mentioned in verse seven. David is looking ahead to the millennial kingdom when Jesus sits in the holy place in Jerusalem. 


Psalm 68:25 G4399 [2went beforehand G758 1Rulers] G2192 being next to G5567 ones strumming, G1722 in G3319 the midst G3494.1 of young women G5178.1 performing on tambourines.


“Anticipate archōn (rulers) have melodies in middle juvenile drummers.”


David is suggesting that the rulers go to the house of the Elohim, anticipating the Elohim’s coming, with songs and young people drumming. We know that people from all nations will come up to Jerusalem with gifts for Jesus at the start of the millennial kingdom.


Psalm 68:26 G1722 In G1577 assemblies G2127 bless G3588   G2316 God! G3588 the G2962 lord G1537 from G4077 the springs G* of Israel.


“In ekklesias (churches) bless the Elohim the Yahweh from out of streams of Israel.”


In the ekklesias we are to bless the Elohim and Yahweh. This tells us that there are places other than the tabernacle for people to worship the Elohim and Yahweh Elohim. David is pivoting here, somewhat. He talks about the millennial kingdom, then back to our time as in worship Him now for these things, then back again to the millennial kingdom. 


Psalm 68:27 G1563 There G* Benjamin G3501 the younger G1722 is in G1611 astonishment, G758 even the rulers G* of Judah, G2232 and their governors, G1473   G758 the rulers G* of Zebulun, G758 the rulers G* of Naphtali.


“In that place Benjamin new in amazement archōn Judah his leaders archōn Zebulun archōn Naphtali 


David is mentioning these four tribes for a reason. On the south side of Israel was Judah and Benjamin on the north side of Israel was Zebulun and Naphtali. Creatively David is saying from the north and the south rulers are to worship the Elohim in the ekklesias. It probably sings well in Hebrew but it is a great picture of the future millennial kingdom. The rulers will come from north and south to worship.

“Command the Elohim the your dunamis (forces) dunamoō (enable) the Elohim this that downward work in us.”


David wants the Elohim to command the forces, the angelic host, and enable the Elohim to do a downward work, from heaven to earth, in us. Give the command to the heavenly host. Why would heaven need an army if there were no enemies? We need the help from the angelic forces, just as David mentioned regarding the good news in verse eleven. We also need the Elohim to work in us so we need intervention from the forces for this as well.

“From the your tabernacle on Jerusalem kings carry you gifts.” 


The temple had not been built when David wrote this.The tabernacle of Moses was used and then the tabernacle of David was made and the ark brought into that tabernacle in the city of David.This tells us it is a future prophecy of the temple at Jerusalem during the millennial kingdom. David saw the millennial temple.

“Tax upon the dangerous animals the reed the synagogue the bullock in the heifer the people, the shut up the assay the money, scatter ethnos the the 

warfare desire.”


David was talking about the temple and kings bringing gifts, now David asks the Elohim to lay value on the wild beasts in the marshes. We know from other prophecies that there will be a desert place for wild beasts and demons in the millennial kingdom. At first people will avoid that place because of the beasts and demons there. However, at the end of the millennial kingdom the demons in that place will inhabit people.

The congregation of bulls and heifers of the people at that time will be outside the city. These are offerings for the Elohim. David then says shut up the assayers money; meaning that those who take the offerings in the tabernacle who check the silver, making sure it is pure, keep them working. It is as if this weird war won’t go on very long. We know from the Book of Revelation that it won’t.


David then says to scatter the ethnos, the nations who desire warfare. There are many people and nations that desire warfare in our time but if David is talking about the millennial temple then he is talking about the end of the millennial reign when Satanas is loosed after the one thousand years to go out and deceive the nations. As the nations are deceived into making war on Jerusalem, they will be wiped out quickly. This is when the Israelites realize that Jesus truly is Yahweh their Messiah.


Psalm 68:31 G2240 [2shall come G4244.1 1Ambassadors] G1537 from out of G* Egypt. G* Ethiopia G4399 shall go beforehand with G5495 her hand G1473   G3588   G2316 to God.


“Be present ambassadors from out of Egypt, Ethiopia anticipate his hand the Elohim.”  


There will be ambassadors from Egypt and Ethiopia who will come up to Jerusalem to worship and bring gifts to the king, Jesus. The interesting thing about David’s prophecy is that he wrote this long before others, like Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Jeremiah. He was the inspiration for the understanding of the millennial kingdom.

“The kingdom the earth sing the Elohim melody the Yahweh chant.”


This is a song that the kingdoms of the earth will sing. The Elohim is the melody and Yahweh is the chant. What does that mean? The song is layered. There is a melody, then there is singing over the melody, or over-singing. We do this now in our worship songs. 


Psalm 68:33 G3588 to the one G1910 mounting G1909 upon G3588 the G3772 heaven G3588 of the G3772 heaven, G2596 according to G395 the east. G2400 Behold, G1325 he shall make G3588   G5456 his voice G1473   G5456 a sound G1411 of power.


“The ascend on the heaven, the heaven downward rising of the sun. Look give the his sound, sound dunamis (forces).”


David says to ascend on the heaven. He says to rise up to heaven, then downward to earth to the rising of the sun. David says give His sound, the sound of the house of heaven. We await the harpazo, we then ascend to heaven, then back down to earth at the end of the tribulation. David is saying “give the sound” or sound the trumpet, and then David says “sound forces”, as in hear the sound of the forces coming. No one can ascend to heaven before the harpazo. David is sure that the end of the tribulation is going to be a fabulous time and he wants our attention drawn to that day.

“Give honor the Elohim on the Israel the his magnificence and the his forces (dunamis) in the clouds.”


Here is something that we can celebrate today, the magnificence of the Elohim and his focus coming in the clouds. Don’t we meet Jesus in the air? Don’t we rise up with the shout of the angel and the voice of the trumpet? We should be celebrating that future day.

“Wonderful the Elohim in the his holy place the Elohim Israel he gives dunamis and stronghold the his people worthy of praise the Elohim.”


The Elohim has a plan for all manfaced. We share the good news so that others will celebrate the future as well. David is way ahead of his time. David was anointed by Samuel around 1062 BCE, he was king in 1056 BCE when Saul died. David died in 1016 BCE. Let’s say David wrote this Psalm after he was king, in round numbers 1040 BCE or so. We are saying that David wrote this over three thousand years ago, before Jesus came, before the temple was built, destroyed, rebuilt, and destroyed again. It seems that all the other prophets are teaching the same things, but David taught this before they did. 


In this song David took us through the time of the exodus, the time of the gospel, the time of Yahweh saving the dead in paradise, the harpazo, the commissioning of kings, the time of the armies of the Lord coming back to earth like snow falling, the millennial kingdom and the end of the millennial kingdom. He sings about the fallen sons of the Elohim being broken in pieces and the heirs of the fallen sons of the Elohim crying out like dogs in His presence. David had a full scope of the future, but what he wrote seems to have been hidden from our understanding. We know why the enemies of the Elohim want us ignorant, therefore we need to grow more like David, in relationship and partnership with the Elohim. Now we can wildly praise him and jump for joy because we know the future.
