There are always going to be people who are posers, pretending to be righteous Christian believers and pretending to be part of the members only Body of Christ. They will speak the right words and claim that they are prophets, pastors, and teachers, yet they are not part of the Body of Christ. They will have ministries that sound legitimate, and some will take in a lot of money, but the entire ministry is simply a front that piggybacks on true Christians. The time is upon us to not be deceived by pseudo-members in the Body of Christ. For example, many years ago there was a devastating earthquake on an island in the Caribbean. As aid workers and groups went to help the people it was later found out that some who were claiming to be Christian aid groups were actually taking children from their families and adopting them out to people in other countries. Some of these children were lost and never heard from again. Child trafficking. It is hard to imagine the depths of evil hiding amongst us, using Christianity as a cover for buying and selling victims. We have to be wise. But in being wise we will become enemies of evil people hiding in our midst. Jesus told us that there would be some who stand outside saying that they prophesied in His name, and they cast out demons in His name, and did wonderful works in His name, but Jesus will tell them that he never knew them. Which side of the door of heaven do we want to be on? Which side of the door of heaven are they on?
Matthew 7:20 Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruits.
21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?
23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. [Ps. 6:8.]
The Amplified Bible (La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation, 1987), Mt 7:20–23.
Prophets who have spoken for Yahweh Elohim have always had a target on their back from the evil rulers of the empires they lived in. Simply put, many of those in supreme power do not want to hear from Yahweh Elohim. A few do, but many do not. When we speak about the number of Christians in the United States, estimated to be about 70% of the population, we realize that in a democracy the seventy percent should be leading or ruling. However we hear the screeching of the 30% unrighteous who claim that Christians are a threat to democracy. That statement is a fallacy. Obviously. Democracy is majority rule. Clearly Satanas wants the laity to stop standing up to him. While many Christians do not war against principalities, powers, and the ruler of darkness, who is Satanas, some do. The members only club of the Body of Christ has always been persecuted. As we saw a few weeks ago, the unrighteous don’t even know why they hate the righteous, they just do. It’s spiritual.
As Jesus mentioned, if he is struck down, like a stalk of wheat, many stalks of wheat will rise up. This is what happens in the members only Body of Christ club. The more Christians are struck down the more people join the members only Body of Christ. Think about these numbers from a world wide perspective. We have 8 billion people in the world, and 2.5 billion claim to be Christians. While this doesn’t seem like a lot of Christians, it is when we recognize it started with 1, Jesus Messiah. For the first fifteen hundred years since Christ, the primary way to share the gospel was to tell people verbally until the printing press and Martin Luther gave us the scriptures in common language.
One of the great prophets, Isaiah, had quite a bit of messianic prophecies. Isaiah’s prophetic ministry endured through five kings of the south, Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, Hezekiah, and Manasseh. He was married to a prophetess. Isaiah was murdered around 696 BC. Hebrews mentions someone in the cloud of witnesses who was sawn in two. That was Isaiah, and it was common knowledge in the first century.

“Stoned to test saw through in murder sword die off go around in sheepskin in goat hide inferior pressed treated evilly.”
The writer of Hebrews is recounting the hardship and sacrifice people made for us. They were murdered and martyred to bring us truth and understanding. We have hardly understood the amount of blood that was shed and continues to be shed for the believers in the Body of Christ.
First we have to make note of who killed Isaiah. Technically it was Manasseh, because he was king at the time, although he was only twelve years old in 698 BC when he became king, and fourteen in 696 BC when Isaiah was murdered. There were others in the kings administration that wanted Isaiah dead. Those people easily influenced the fourteen year old king. They turned all of Judah upside down, as Hezekiah had turned it right side up. It is interesting to recognize that the people in Hezekiah’s administration didn’t necessarily support Hezekiah spiritually cleaning up Judah and holding a passover. We know this because immediately after Hezekiah’s death, Manasseh brought back all of the evil spiritual practices that Hezekiah had gotten rid of. A twelve year old can be manipulated.
2 Chronicles 33:1 MANASSEH WAS twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem.
2 But he did evil in the Lord’s sight, like the abominations of the heathen whom the Lord drove out before the Israelites.
3 For he built again the [idolatrous] high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared altars for the Baals and made the Asherim and worshiped all the hosts of the heavens and served them.
4 Also he built [heathen] altars in the Lord’s house, of which the Lord had said, In Jerusalem shall My Name be forever.
5 He built altars for all the hosts of the heavens in the two courts of the Lord’s house.
6 And he burned his children as an offering [to his god] in the Valley of Ben-hinnom [son of Hinnom], and practiced soothsaying, augury, and sorcery, and dealt with mediums and wizards. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him to anger.
7 And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put My Name [and Presence] forever;
8 And I will no more remove Israel from the land which I appointed for your fathers, if they will only take heed to do all that I have commanded them, the whole law, the statutes, and the ordinances given through Moses.
9 So Manasseh led Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to do more evil than the heathen whom the Lord had destroyed before the Israelites.
The Amplified Bible (La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation, 1987), 2 Ch 33:1–9.
Manasseh brings back all the evil spiritual practices and gets rid of the prophets. It is always the mission of the true prophets to call people back to Yahweh Elohim. In every age, whether by warnings or prophetic vision, true prophets are not well paid P.T. Barnum swindlers speaking about the future for money. They are humble nondescript people who speak truth. We see that Isaiah’s prophecy of the coming Messiah has been fulfilled, and the return of the Messiah is on deck now.
Josephus notes that Isaiah and the other prophets wrote down all their prophecies so that we could judge them. Good thing. There are plenty of false prophets even in our time and the only way to check their connection to the Holy Spirit is if we can go back and read what they spoke. Then we know if they were hearing from the Holy Spirit or not. How many times have people claimed something they said was prophetic and was going to happen but never did. How many times was a prophecy so vague that it could apply anywhere. “There will be storms in the south”, is not a prophecy it is reality, there are always storms in the south, hurricanes as well. Give us an exact date, give us an exact time, and give us an exact location, then we will pay attention.
Josephus Antiquities of the Jews 10:2:(35) Now as to this prophet [Isaiah], he was by the confession of all, a divine and wonderful man in speaking truth; and out of the assurance that he had never written what was false, he wrote down all his prophecies, and left them behind him in books, that their accomplishment might be judged of from the events by posterity. Nor did this prophet do so alone; but the others, which were twelve in number, did the same. And whatsoever is done among us, whether it be good, or whether it be bad, comes to pass according to their prophecies; but of every one of these we shall speak hereafter.
Flavius Josephus and William Whiston, The Works of Josephus: Complete and Unabridged (Peabody: Hendrickson, 1987), 268.
It took a long time for these prophecies to come to pass, we are still awaiting many of them. Since the prophecies of the Messiah’s first coming did actually come to pass, the second coming of the Messiah and his millennial reign can be counted on.
Josephus Antiquities of the Jews 10:3:1. (36) When king Hezekiah had survived the interval of time already mentioned, and had dwelt all that time in peace, he died, having completed fifty-four years of his life, and reigned twenty-nine. (37) But when his son Manasseh, whose mother’s name was Hephzibah, of Jerusalem, had taken the kingdom, he departed from the conduct of his father, and fell into a course of life quite contrary thereto, and showed himself in his manners most wicked in all respects, and omitted no sort of impiety, but imitated those transgressions of the Israelites, by the commission of which against God, they had been destroyed; for he was so hardy as to defile the temple of God, and the city, and the whole country; (38) for, by setting out from a contempt of God, he barbarously slew all the righteous men that were among the Hebrews; nor would he spare the prophets, for he every day slew some of them, till Jerusalem was overflown with blood. (39) So God was angry at these proceedings, and sent prophets to the king, and to the multitude, by whom he threatened the very same calamities to them which their brethren the Israelites, upon the like affronts offered to God, were now under. But these men would not believe their words, by which belief they might have reaped the advantage of escaping all those miseries; yet did they in earnest learn that what the prophets had told them was true.
Flavius Josephus and William Whiston, The Works of Josephus: Complete and Unabridged (Peabody: Hendrickson, 1987), 268–269.
Keep in mind that Satanas is not all knowing and does not have foreknowledge. When Isaiah recorded these prophecies they were news to Satanas and his principalities and powers. They did not know the details of the Messiah’s coming, nor did they know the details of the Messiah’s reign for one thousand years. Also Satanas himself had basically been hidden from humans up to this point. Isaiah exposed Satanas fall, his behavior, and his future. Isaiah gave us all of that information and some of it was new to Satanas, as far as his future in hell. Isaiah not only exposed Satanas to the people, he also exposed his future to his principalities and powers. Isaiah also exposes the children of Satanas and their future destruction by the flying asps. How many defectors would Satanas be able to gather up after that expose’, spiritual or human? Of course Satanas was mad at Isaiah.
Isaiah also tells us about the prayer language of the Holy Spirit. People with the Holy Spirit had a prayer language before the day of Pentecost, but they were holy men, and true prophets. Today we can all have the prayer language of the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit dwells in us, even if we are not as holy as we should be.
We should realize that speaking in unacquired languages is not a new subject for the new covenant only, it was spoken of in the old covenant as well. Glōssa is mostly translated language or tongue as in saying something good or bad. Yet when we add context, a new picture emerges.
Isaiah talks about the future from his time period when the Lord of hosts comes, he will be the crown of hope but the people will be left in a spirit of judgement. Jesus came and died, was resurrected and ascended. Luke related Peter’s speech to Cornelius and his household telling them that Jesus was the judge of the living and the dead, Acts 10:42. Isaiah says the Lord will be a spirit of judgement, Isaiah 28:6. Then he points out that they did many detestable things. Isaiah then asks who they were speaking to when they were reporting the Lord coming as judge and pointing out their evil behaviors. Isaiah says they, the prophets, were speaking to those who were weaned, not to babies. Therefore they now should expect affliction.
Isaiah 28:9 To whom have we reported evils? and to whom have we reported a message? even to those that are weaned from the milk, who are drawn from the breast. 10 Expect thou affliction on affliction, hope upon hope: yet a little, and yet a little, 11 by reason of the contemptuous words of the lips, by means of another language: for they shall speak to this people, saying to them,

Because of the disparaging words and evil behaviors, the Lord would talk to them in a different, strange, unacquired language. On Pentecost people heard the disciples speaking the wonderful works of God. They heard the words in different languages, the very words they could not hear in their own language; words that magnified God. The mature people would not listen to the words in their language, so the Holy Spirit brought a message in different unacquired languages.
Let’s connect Isaiah 28:11-12 with 1 Corinthians 14:21. Paul says this:
1 Corinthians 14:21 (AMP)
21 It is written in the Law, By men of strange languages and by the lips of foreigners will I speak to this people, and not even then will they listen to Me, says the Lord.
Isaiah 28:11-12 (AMP)
11 No, but [the Lord will teach the rebels in a more humiliating way] by men with stammering lips and another tongue will He speak to this people [says Isaiah, and teach them His lessons].
12 To these [complaining Jews the Lord] had said, This is the true rest [the way to true comfort and happiness] that you shall give to the weary, and, This is the [true] refreshing—yet they would not listen [to His teaching].
Unacquired languages is the true rest for the weary and a true refreshing. Strange languages and foreign languages, stammering and stuttering in unacquired languages, brings rest and refreshing. This is the way the rebellious are taught about the power of the Most High God. The prophets did this during Isaiah’s time, the disciples did this on Pentecost, and we do this today. The Lord humiliated the rebellious people when he led others in unacquired languages. Today it seems that those without this ability attempt to flip the tables and humiliate those with the ability. They also attempt to stop others from this ability with disinformation. Oh dear Alice! Let’s go on.
Isaiah 28:12 This is the rest to him that is hungry, and this is the calamity: but they would not hear.
13 Therefore the oracle of God shall be to them affliction on affliction, hope on hope, yet a little, and yet a little, that they may go and fall backward; and they shall be crushed and shall be in danger, and shall be taken.
Because they would not hear the prophets in their their own language, nor in different unacquired languages, they would have affliction, be crushed and be taken. But the rebellious want you to think that you have been tricked, misinformed, and deceived. However, when we go a little deeper, we find that the rebellious made a bad allegiance.
Isaiah 28:14 Therefore hear ye the word of the Lord, ye afflicted men, and ye princes of this people that is in Jerusalem. 15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with Hades, and agreements with death; if the rushing storm should pass, it shall not come upon us: we have made falsehood our hope, and by falsehood shall we be protected:
Isaiah says that those who were mature, princes, and religious leaders, made a deal with hades and death, thinking that they would be protected from afflictions. Remember what Peter said to the Romans, Jesus was the judge of the living and the dead? (Acts 10:42) Remember Jesus told us he has the keys to hades and death? This is a really bad deal to have made. Everyone who makes a deal with hades and death is still going to face Jesus. Falsehood will not protect them. On account of this, the Lord will put a cornerstone, a foundation stone, in Zion.
These people who would not listen to the Lord or the prophets made a deal with the devil. They would like you to think that they are better people as they condemn those who speak in unacquired languages. But they are not truthful, they are not telling you about their backdoor deal. This goes for those who reject Jesus today as well as those who reject the Holy Spirit and dunamis.

In the Ascension of Isaiah we have a section written by one of the other prophets regarding Isaiah’s death. We see the name Belial used here. “children of Belial” was the term used by Moses to point out people who were defecting from the Israelites and serving other gods. Then again the term “sons of Belial” is used for men of the tribe of Benjamin who wanted to rape a Levite priest, which caused the extermination of all the men of Benjamin. The term “sons of Belial” is a reference to children of Satanas, people who do evil things and are in association with Satanas. Belial is a principality. We are children of the Living Most High Holy Creator, Yahweh Elohim. The people who intentionally do evil things are children of Satanas. We see another name we might not be familiar with, Sammael. Some people regarded Sammael as the demon over death, the Grim Reaper. He also might have been thought of as a death angel for non-Israelites. It is clear though that Sammael will do Satanas’ will. Sammael is angry at Isaiah for what Isaiah saw regarding Sammael’s future. Sammael is also a principality. Sammael was not a son of Hezekiah, Hezekiah only had one son, Manasseh, so it seems the wording is a bit odd. We will look at it shortly.
We needed a running start here to understand what this chapter in the Ascension of Isaiah is speaking of. To understand, Belial was living in the heart of the fourteen year old king. Satanas used a fourteen year old to murder the Prophet who made known the Messiah, exposed Satanas, and spoke of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the prophets.
Ascension of Isaiah 5:1 On account of these visions, therefore, Belial was angry with Isaiah, and he dwelt in the heart of Manasseh, and he sawed him apart with a wooden saw. 2 And when Isaiah was being sawn apart, Belchira stood up, accusing him, and all the false prophets stood up, laughing and rejoicing because of Isaiah. 3 And Belchira, with the aid of Mechembechus, stood up before Isaiah, [laughing] deriding; 4 and Belchira said to Isaiah, “Say, I have lied in all that I have spoken, and likewise the ways of Manasseh are good and right. 5 And the ways also of Belchira and of his associates are good.” 6 And this he said to him when he began to be sawn apart. 7 But Isaiah was [entranced] in a vision of the Lord, and though his eyes were open, he [did not] see them. 8 And Belchira spoke thus to Isaiah: “Say what I say to you and I will turn their hearts, and I will compel Manasseh, and the princes of Judah, and the people, and all Jerusalem to give reverence to you.” 9 And Isaiah answered and said, “So far as I have utterance: Damned and accursed are you, and all your powers, and all your house. 10 For you cannot take [from me] anything except the skin of my body.” 11 And they seized and sawed apart Isaiah, the son of Amoz, with a wooden saw. 12 And Manasseh, and Belchira, and the false prophets, and the princes, and the people all stood looking on. 13 And to the prophets who were with him he said before he had been sawn apart, “Go to the region of Tyre and Sidon; for God has only mingled the cup for me.” 14 And when Isaiah was being sawn apart, he neither cried aloud nor wept, but his lips spoke with the Holy Spirit until he was sawn in half. 15 Belial did this to Isaiah through Belchira and Manasseh; for Sammael was very wrathful against Isaiah from the days of Hezekiah, king of Judah, on account of the things which he had seen regarding the Beloved. 16 And on account of the destruction of Sammael, which he had seen through the Lord while his father Hezekiah was still king. And he did according to the will of Satan.

Sammael was wrathful against Isaiah because of the things Isaiah saw regarding the Beloved, and of Sammael’s destruction, which Isaiah saw while Hezekiah was still king, so Sammael did the will of Satanas. Belial and Sammael are angry principalities. They should not have made an allegiance with Satanas in the first place, now they know their end.
Isaiah was not concerned with his life. He laid down his life so that he could live. He simply spoke to the Holy Spirit in unacquired languages, aka, his prayer language, or speaking in tongues, and did not worry about what Belchira was going to do.
Many prophets, priests, kings, and warriors, laid their lives down to get the knowledge of Yahweh into the nations. This is what we see the writer of Hebrews referring to. Let’s take a closer look.
Hebrews 11: 32 And what shall I say further? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets, [Judg. 4:1-5; 6:1-8, 35; 11:1-12, 15; 13:1-16; I Sam. 1-30; II Sam. 1-24; I Kings 1-2; Acts 3:24.]
33 Who by [the help of] faith subdued kingdoms, administered justice, obtained promised blessings, closed the mouths of lions, [Dan. 6.]
34 Extinguished the power of raging fire, escaped the devourings of the sword, out of frailty and weakness won strength and became stalwart, even mighty and resistless in battle, routing alien hosts. [Dan. 3.]
35 [Some] women received again their dead by a resurrection. Others were tortured to death with clubs, refusing to accept release [offered on the terms of denying their faith], so that they might be resurrected to a better life. [I Kings 17:17-24; II Kings 4:25-37.]
36 Others had to suffer the trial of mocking and scourging and even chains and imprisonment.
37 They were stoned to death; they were lured with tempting offers [to renounce their faith]; they were sawn asunder; they were slaughtered by the sword; [while they were alive] they had to go about wrapped in the skins of sheep and goats, utterly destitute, oppressed, cruelly treated—
38 [Men] of whom the world was not worthy—roaming over the desolate places and the mountains, and [living] in caves and caverns and holes of the earth.
39 And all of these, though they won divine approval by [means of] their faith, did not receive the fulfillment of what was promised,
40 Because God had us in mind and had something better and greater in view for us, so that they [these heroes and heroines of faith] should not come to perfection apart from us [before we could join them].
What did they not receive? They did not have Christ in them. They awaited together after death in Abraham’s Bay, looking forward to being taken out after the Messiah would come. They did not enter Paradise until Jesus came and opened it, when he took back the keys, after his crucifixion. Now they await the gathering into heaven when Jesus calls from the clouds and the dead in Christ rise up first, and the living join them. They, along with us, will make up the above congregation. Then we will come back to the earth with Jesus on the Day of the Lord, and rule and reign as kings and priests. So as of today, they have not been made immortal or eternal. They, like us, are waiting for the number of nations to come into the sheepfold. This is why they willingly laid down their lives. Let’s continue.
Hebrews 12:1 THEREFORE THEN, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us,
2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. [Ps. 110:1.]
3 Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds.
4 You have not yet struggled and fought agonizingly against sin, nor have you yet resisted and withstood to the point of pouring out your [own] blood.
The Amplified Bible (La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation, 1987), Heb 11:32–12:4.
Think of Jesus who endured the cross for us. Think of the prophets who endured the brutal hatred and death for us. Think of the warriors who endured the physical battles, the spiritual battles, and death for us. Look away from everything that distracts us in our calling and mission from Yahweh. All those who went before us, who laid down their lives with the attitude that there is nothing their haters can do to them but take their skin, are our example. We are spirit, soul, and body, and the end of our body is not the end of our existence. Look at Isaiah. His written prophecies have lasted 2,720 years. He is still witnessing the first coming of the Messiah to those who didn’t know he came. He is still witnessing the Day of the Lord to those fallen sons of the Elohim the principalities and powers who will be cleared off of earth and disintegrated on the great judgment day. Their future is decided.
We know that the members only club, the Body of Christ, is both inclusive and exclusive. Anyone can join, so it is inclusive. It is exclusive because there is only one way to join, one must confess Jesus Yahweh Messiah with their own mouth, and believe in their own heart that he rose up on the third day. And it is part of our membership to be hated by those on the outside, just as Jesus was. Remember there is 70% of the population who believe Jesus is Lord.
With this in mind, we should be smart enough to stir the pot once in a while. Just because a group calls itself a “charity” does not mean it is doing the work of Yahweh Jesus Messiah. It would be silly to believe this. It may be that the title is the deception because the fruits of the work being done is not leading anyone to confess Jesus Christ, the son of the Most High God, who saves us and redeems us. Instead what if the fruits bear out that these charities are simply doing the work of Satanas by allowing the rich and powerful to feed their own lusts, trafficking children and the vulnerable, while claiming that they are doing the Lords work. We might want to ask, who their lord actually is. Every spirit must confess and every person must confess. Therefore we should not automatically assume that a name with the word “charity” in it is actually working for Jesus Messiah. How will we know? By their own confession before men. Why not ask? We are an exclusive members only club. We should recognize that many will pretend to be us to hide among us, to siphon money from us, and pretend they are pious to the rest of the world. It is simply Satanas’ way. Just remember, there will be plenty of people outside the kingdom of heaven claiming they should be allowed in, but Jesus says he never knew them. If Jesus doesn’t know them, who then were they working for on the earth?
