Absalom’s Hatred; Hybrid Son; Yahweh Sees; The Forest Fought Back

We are under attack for our faith in Jesus as Messiah. We have enemies on every side, and the hate will not go away because Yahweh Elohim put it there. There is hatred between Yahweh Elohim/Lord Jesus Messiah and Satanas. It is not Yahweh who hates, it is Satanas who is filled with hate. One can become a child of Satanas if they want to, and some are motivated to because they believe all the things that they will receive in this life will be worth eternal death. David is a great example of someone who had enemies. One person who led a large group of haters against David was his own son Absalom. The haters who wanted to kill David and overthrow the kingdom were not fighting with Yahweh’s blessing, and interestingly we find out that they were so inexperienced in war that many died in the forest from their own stupidity. We also find that Absalom’s mother had genetic ties to the line of Anak, making Absalom’s hate the type that Yahweh put between the offspring of the woman and Satanas. Let’s explore.

Psalm 3:0 G5568 A psalm G3588 to G* David G3698 when G590.2 he ran away G575 from G4383 the face G* of Absalom G3588   G5207 his son. G1473

“Song the David when rendered away from the face Absalom the his son.”

This is a song that David wrote when he separated himself from the face of Absalom. Rendered is “separating” like smelting, removing debris from the  metal. It is a pretty accurate word because Absalom and David shared genetics. It is not just David running away, but separating his son with his impurities, from himself. David rendered away from Absalom. Who was Absalom? He was a son of David. We find that while David was a giant slayer Absalom’s mother was a descendant of Talmai, who was the third son of a hybrid of Anak. This Talmai was an allos-genos. Maacha’s father was named Talmai after Anak’s third son. There are two things here that are related, one is Talmai son of Anak, and the location of Geshur, which bordered Bashan and Mount Hermon. Bashan was the land of the giants, heirs of the Nephil. The heirs of the Nephilim always lived and resettled near Mount Hermon because Mount Hermon was where their angelic fathers descended. Remember, angels sinned. Talmai the father of Maacha was an heir of Talmai of Anak. When we hear about Bashan and Mount Hermon we should always think about the Nephilim tribes residing there.

David had children with an heir of Anak. But before we get upset about that we have to remember that Abraham had six sons with a Canaanite, Ketura. While it is interesting we find such accurate words concerning the genetic differences between humans and human/hybrids, it seems it was not recognized that the human/hybrids had a connection to Satanas’ seed. Everyone knew that the hybrids were evil, domineering, and filled with hate, but no one thought about the results of mixing their seed with hybrids after a few generations. This tells us that in some tribes the genetic anomalies were not as visible as they once were. Those genetic anomalies were more recognizable in the mixed tribes that banded together called Philistines.

2Sa 13:37  But Absalom fled, and went to Talmai, the son of Ammihud, king of Geshur. And David mourned for his son every day.

2Sa 13:38  So Absalom fled, and went to Geshur, and was there three years.

The important part to understand here is that Absalom’s mother was from the line of Anak, Talmai. Absalom seemed to feel entitled and acted as a judge. He commanded his servants as if he himself were king, not just the son of the king. Absalom killed Amnon and then fled to his mother’s family in Geshur, near Syria. Absalom was also a handsome man with thick long hair. It is interesting that it seems people gravitated to Absalom because of his physical appearance.

Joab helped David to recognize that Absalom should come back to the kingdom, so David allowed Absalom to go to his own house but not see David. When Absalom returned to David’s kingdom he started to amass followers who would want to make him king. He wanted to see David and demanded Joab come to see him twice. Then Absalom burned Joab’s field and Joab went to Absalom to find out why he burnt his field. This shows Absalom’s heart is in the wrong place. Joab helped Absalom and now like a petulant child, he is demanding that Joab help him again. From these clues we can see what type of a person he was. He might have been good looking, but he certainly was an entitled brat with an unclean and unthankful heart.

2Sa 15:7  And it came to pass after forty (four) years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the LORD, in Hebron.

2Sa 15:8  For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria, saying, If the LORD shall bring me again indeed to Jerusalem, then I will serve the LORD.

2Sa 15:9  And the king said unto him, Go in peace. So he arose, and went to Hebron.

Absalom tried to make himself a judge, and he would slyly endear himself to people as they came to see David for judgments. After four years (not forty years) Absalom asked to go back to Hebron. Hebron is south of Jerusalem. David said he could go, and this is when he decided to overthrow David. Absalom sent spies out to every tribe. They told the people that when they heard the trumpet that Absalom had become king. More and more people joined Absalom.

Absalom had spies throughout Israel and eventually Absalom was ready to overtake David, his father. Hatred had been brewing in Absalom’s heart for quite some time. By this point in time he had years to build a narrative in his mind as to what he would do to become king. His head got too big or we could say that he thought more highly of himself than he should have.

Our first clue to his corrupted heart of hatred was when he killed Amnon. Although Amnon did rape Absalom’s sister, Absalom became the judge, jury, and executioner. It seems Absalom allowed anger and rage to fester for a few years until he commanded his servants to kill Amnon. Was this the start of Absalom’s hatred? Was this the time Satanas made some suggestions to Absalom regarding his future as king? Was this the time that Absalom became a child of Satanas?

It seems to have been a worse situation for Tamar. She suggested to Amnon that he ask David for her as a wife, but he did not want to. Tamar then ended up living as a widow in Absalom’s house. It is clear that David had very little control over his children.

2Sa 15:13  And there came a messenger to David, saying, The hearts of the men of Israel are after Absalom.

2Sa 15:14  And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we shall not else escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.

Even the priests and Levites left with David, Zadok carrying the ark of the covenant. David however sent them back into the city.

2Sa 15:29  Zadok therefore and Abiathar carried the ark of God again to Jerusalem: and they tarried there.

2Sa 15:30  And David went up by the ascent of mount Olivet, and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went barefoot: and all the people that was with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up.

2Sa 15:31  And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.

2Sa 15:32  And it came to pass, that when David was come to the top of the mount, where he worshipped God, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat rent, and earth upon his head:

As we know David was not loved by the Benjamites. Mephibosheth, Jonathan’s crippled son thought the kingdom would be his if David died. Mephibosheth’s servant Ziba brought David food for him and his men. Shimei also cursed David but David didn’t care because he was saddened by his own son attempting to kill him.

2Sa 16:11  And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came forth of my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more now may this Benjamite do it? let him alone, and let him curse; for the LORD hath bidden him.

2Sa 16:12  It may be that the LORD will look on mine affliction, and that the LORD will requite me good for his cursing this day.

David had a traitor in his midst, Ahithophel. so David prayed.

2Sa 15:12  And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.

2Sa 15:31  And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.

Sometimes we don’t realize how effective our prayers are. Ahithophel counsels Absalom.

2Sa 16:20  Then said Absalom to Ahithophel, Give counsel among you what we shall do.

2Sa 16:21  And Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Go in unto thy father's concubines, which he hath left to keep the house; and all Israel shall hear that thou art abhorred of thy father: then shall the hands of all that are with thee be strong.

2Sa 16:22  So they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the house; and Absalom went in unto his father's concubines in the sight of all Israel.

2Sa 16:23  And the counsel of Ahithophel, which he counselled in those days, was as if a man had enquired at the oracle of God: so was all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom.

2Sa 17:1  Moreover Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Let me now choose out twelve thousand men, and I will arise and pursue after David this night:

2Sa 17:2  And I will come upon him while he is weary and weak handed, and will make him afraid: and all the people that are with him shall flee; and I will smite the king only:

2Sa 17:3  And I will bring back all the people unto thee: the man whom thou seekest is as if all returned: so all the people shall be in peace.

2Sa 17:4  And the saying pleased Absalom well, and all the elders of Israel.

Absalom goes into David’s concubines but then asks Hushai for his opinions. Hushai was David’s man on the inside, so Hushai was there to fool Absalom.

2Sa 17:14  And Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel. For the LORD had appointed to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, to the intent that the LORD might bring evil upon Absalom.

Absalom only got it partly right. Hushai warns Zadok and Abiathar to tell David what is going on. Ahithophel finds out that his counsel was not followed by Absalom so he goes to his home and hangs himself. I suppose he would have died either way, by Absalom or by David.

Absalom’s army lost twenty thousand men. David had an army that he numbered captains of thousands and captains of hundreds. Once Absalom was dead the war was over.

It is hard for us to imagine that David, while killing hybrids, had a son by the daughter of a generational hybrid. The genetic lineage of Satanas’ seed was in David’s own house. The hatred between Absalom and David is more clear when we understand that Absalom had that altered genos in him. Now recognize, the hatred goes one way. Those who are of Satanas’ seed are the haters of the children of the Most High God.

Psalm 3:1 G2962 O lord, G5100 why G4129 were [4multiplied G3588 1the ones G2346 2afflicting G1473 3me]? G4183 Many G1881 rise up G1909 against G1473 me.

“Yahweh some increase the squeeze me many rise up on me.”

David says to Yahweh that some people are increasing the squeeze on him. They are putting the pressure on him. They may also rise up on him. It is interesting that Absalom could gather an army as he never fought a battle himself. He commanded his servants to kill Amnon. It doesn’t seem that Absalom ever fought anyone so he must have been vey charming to gather people against David.

Psalm 3:2 G4183 Many G3004 say G3588 concerning G5590 my soul, G1473   G3756 There is no G1510.2.3   G4991 deliverance G1473 to him G1722 by G3588   G2316 his God. G1473   G1316.1 PAUSE.

“Many say the my soul no not deliverance him in the his Elohim, chanting.”

The people were saying that David would not be delivered. They mocked the Elohim that the Elohim would not deliver him. How strange, the people thought that they knew David would fall. It is at this point that we realize someone was spreading rumors on behalf of Yahweh. It is like the false prophets went out to try and usurp David. Why? Because David was a giant slayer. He was subduing the heirs of the Nephilim. Was this done by Absalom’s spies?

We know Absalom sent out his spies to every tribe to tell people that when they heard the trumpet that Absalom was king. They were probably telling everyone that David would die. The spies were turning the people against David, Yahweh’s chosen.

Psalm 3:3 G1473 But you, G1161   G2962 O lord, G483.1 [2my shielder G1473   G1510.2.2 1are], G1391 my glory, G1473   G2532 and G5312 the one raising up G3588   G2776 my head. G1473

“But you Yahweh are my perceiver my honor and raise up the my head. “

Yahweh is David’s perceiver. Yahweh sees David. David is saying that Yahweh is his honor. When we are persecuted we may realize that Yahweh sees our trouble but we may not think of it as our honor or our glory to be persecuted. It is always our honor to be persecuted for Jesus Christ. We face hatred on every side. We have enemies who we don’t even consider our enemies. Generally speaking we love others, but there is hatred between the seeds.

David asks Yahweh to raise up his head. Yahweh can raise up our head in the middle of our persecution. Even if our persecution ends in death it is our honor to have lived for Yahweh. And we know that death is not our end it is our beginning of eternal life.

Psalm 3:4 G5456 [2my voice G1473   G4314 3to G2962 4 the lord G2896 1I cried out], G2532 and G1873 he heeded G1473 me G1537 from out of G3735 [2mountain G39 1his holy]. G1473

“My voice toward Yahweh cry aloud and listen me from out of his holy mountain, chanting.”

David lifted his voice up to Yahweh and Yahweh heard him. David was not a prideful man who thought he should be king, he was king to save Israel from the constant hounding of Israel’s enemies, the mixed tribes of the Nephil, called the Philistines.

If we are doing what Yahweh has called us to, then Yahweh will hear us when we are persecuted. There is never any reason to fear the people who hate us. We just have to keep doing what Yahweh wants us to do. If, like David, we go up a mountain for a while, then we are waiting for Yahweh on the mountain. If we are to go into the battle towards the woods, we go into the battle and let the woods take down our enemies.

Psalm 3:5 G1473 And I G1161   G2837 went to bed G2532 and G5258.1 slept. G1825 I woke up, G3754 for G2962 the lord G482 shall assist G1473 me.

“I slumbered and fell asleep awaken because Yahweh take hold of me.”

David fell asleep. High stress situations can wear people out and make people sleepy. David woke up because Yahweh woke him up. But there is another sleep. Sometimes we are asleep, going through the motions, and not paying attention to the people around us. We assume all is good, when someone close to us is planning to attack us.

Psalm 3:6 G3756 I shall not fear G5399   G575 from G3461 ten thousands G2992 of people G3588 of the ones G2945 round about G4902.4 joining in attacking G1473 me.

“No not fearful away from myriad people the encircle attack me.”

David says emphatically that he is not fearful. The evil haters encircled him. Absalom’s army was surrounding David but something strange happened. The forest killed more people than David’s men with swords.

2Sa 18:8  (ISV) The battle spread throughout the entire countryside, and the forest claimed more casualties that day than did the sword fighting.

What happened? David and his mighty men were used to combat. They did not use horses or donkey’s. Absalom’s people used horses and donkey’s. There were no trails through the forest. The animals could run and guide themselves between trees, branches, pits, and streams, but the animals were not concerned about the men who were riding them. The men, who were not too bright, probably sat upright on their donkeys. The forest killed more people than the combat did. Absalom’s men were not Rambo type people, David’s men were. Were there traps set? Did Absalom’s men fall into many traps set by David’s men in the woods? Between their lack of war skills, riding through the forest on donkey’s, and with traps set for them, the forest did the majority of the damage in the battle.

This is how Absalom was injured, hanging by his head from a tree branch. Absalom did not die immediately but he may have been paralyzed as he did not get himself down out of the tree. If he was only hanging by his hair he could have grabbed a knife, assuming he was carrying one, and cut himself down. He probably could not use his arms. Joab shot him with three darts and then Joab’s men killed him.

Psalm 3:7 G450 Rise up, G2962 O lord! G4982 Deliver G1473 me, G3588 O G2316 my God! G1473   G3754 For G1473 you G3960 struck G3956 all G3588 the ones G2189.1 hating G1473 me G3154.1 for no cause; G3599 [2 the teeth G268 3of sinners G4937 1you broke].

“Raise up Yahweh rescue me the my Elohim that you beat all the my haters in vain, tooth sinful crush.”

David calls for Yahweh to rescue him. The Elohim beat one hater Absalom.

In David’s time there were no blenders. If the Elohim crushed the teeth of the sinners who hated David then people would struggle to eat. Think about this, David was prophetically praying not realizing the death Absalom would suffer.

It is interesting to think that David’s son was caught in a tree by his head when he was a very vain man. He used to weigh his hair. I suppose it was his great head of hair that led to his demise. Maybe Absalom’s teeth were broken as well. The branches that he was stuck on up in the air would have hit him in the face. It is possible that he was alive long enough to realize that he couldn’t move and he wasn’t going to live.

Psalm 3:8 G3588 [2 is of the G2962 3 lord G3588   G4991 1Deliverance], G2532 and G1909 [2 is upon G3588   G2992 3your people G1473   G3588   G2129 1your blessing]. G1473

“The Yahweh the deliverer and on the your people the your praise.”

Yahweh put the hatred between the seeds. He delivers his own people and praises his people. David was a warrior for Israel. Yahweh did not recognize Absalom as king. Yahweh is the one who appoints kings and rulers, Daniel 2. It is a shame that Absalom disregarded Yahweh and what Yahweh wanted. Could it be that somewhere inside of his genetics his mind deceived him into desiring the kingdom? Is there a mental component to the hatred that the offspring of Satanas have? Is it an unthankful heart or pride or something else that causes the offspring of Satanas to hate the children of the Living God? Is it the prevalence of demons that push one to become Satanas’ offspring? We, like David, will attract haters, and we will have to pray through the situation like David. Satanas will use everything and everyone he can to stop us from serving Jesus Messiah, yet we know as Jesus said we are to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him.

Mat 16:24  Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Mat 16:25  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

Mat 16:26  For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Mat 16:27  For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
