I recently read a headline stating that African Pastors
believe America is in a spiritual coma. I mused at that for a while because I
believe it is true, but we should also note that if one is in a coma one cannot
know he/she is in a coma. In other words, if people are in a spiritual dead
zone, they don’t know that they are there. Instead they think that everyone is
in the same spiritual dead zone. One of the many ways that the American Church
has fallen is in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. I say this because in many other
nations Christians pray and minister healing to each other and consistently see
miracles. But in America, it might be that one too many people have denied and
blasphemed the Holy Spirit. That is a strong word and I intend it to be. Have
we lost our fear of blaspheming the Holy Ghost? Have we denied that the
miracles that take place in other parts of the world could also happen here?
Ministering and flowing in the Gifts of the Spirits always causes a stir, but
if one’s religion does not believe in the Gifts or the Ministry of the Holy
Spirit, it may be that the religious leaders have blasphemed the Holy Spirit.
That is what the religious leaders did in Jesus’ day, they accused Jesus of
casting out demons with demons. We looked at how Jesus healed blind people last
week and in part of the context of one of those healings, Jesus tells us about
blasphemy that is unforgivable. Three gospel writers note this very
specifically. Let’s explore.
NT:986 blasphemeo (blas-fay-meh'-o); from NT:989; to
vilify; specially, to speak impiously: KJV - (speak) blaspheme (-er, -mously,
-my), defame, rail on, revile, speak evil.
NT:988 blasphemia (blas-fay-me'-ah); from NT:989; vilification
(especially against God): KJV - blasphemy, evil speaking, railing.
NT:989 blasphemos (blas'-fay-mos); from a derivative of
NT:984 and NT:5345; scurrilious, i.e. calumnious (against men), or (specially)
impious (against God):KJV - blasphemer (-mous), railing.(Biblesoft's New
Exhaustive Strong's Numbers and Concordance with Expanded Greek-Hebrew

NT:984 blapto (blap'-to); a
primary verb; properly, to hinder, i.e. (by implication) to injure: KJV -
hurt.(Biblesoft's New Exhaustive Strong's Numbers and Concordance with Expanded

NT:5345 pheme (fay'-may);
from NT:5346; a saying, i.e. rumor ("fame"): KJV - fame. (Biblesoft's

Dictionary. Copyright © 1994, 2003, 2006 Biblesoft, Inc. and International

Clearly, blasphemy is vilifying, or speaking injuriously,
or spreading rumors about the Holy Spirit. It is evil to speak badly about the
Holy Spirit and while most people would not believe that they have done this,
many claim that miracles being done are not done by the Holy Ghost, but
attribute these miracles to demonic activity. I personally have had people say
that regarding me; that I was casting out demons with demons. Really? Does the
devil want to heal people? Let’s look at what happened with Jesus. In Matthew
12:22 Jesus healed a man who was blind and dumb.
Matt 12:24-32 But the Pharisees, hearing it, said, This
Man drives out demons only by and with the help of Beelzebub, the prince of
demons. 25 And knowing their thoughts, He said to them, Any kingdom that is
divided against itself is being brought to desolation and laid waste, and no
city or house divided against itself will last or continue to stand. 26 And if
Satan drives out Satan, he has become divided against himself and disunified; how
then will his kingdom last or continue to stand? 27 And if I drive out the
demons by [help of] Beelzebub, by whose [help] do your sons drive them out? For
this reason they shall be your judges. 28 But if it is by the Spirit of God
that I drive out the demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you
[before you expected it]. 29 Or how can a person go into a strong man's house
and carry off his goods (the entire equipment of his house) without first
binding the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house. 30 He who is not
with Me [definitely on My side] is against Me, and he who does not [definitely]
gather with Me and for My side scatters. 31 Therefore I tell you, every sin and
blasphemy [988] (every evil, abusive, injurious speaking, or indignity against
sacred things) can be forgiven men, but blasphemy [988] against the [Holy]
Spirit shall not and cannot be forgiven. 32 And whoever speaks a word
against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the
Spirit, the Holy One, will not be forgiven, either in this world and age or in
the world and age to come. AMP
As soon as the religious leaders found out that the
miracle of the blind and dumb man had people believing Jesus was the Son of
David, they tried to deny the entire miracle. They attempted to manipulate
people by not talking about the man’s healing, but by scaring people into
thinking that Jesus was using demons to heal people. Jesus points out that the
devil’s kingdom is not divided against itself, or in short, the devil is not healing
people and giving God the credit. There were people in those days that cast out
demons by their authority. That is available, because man does have authority
over demons, but many don’t know that. Jesus says that if he is driving out
demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom has come upon them. Wait, go back
and don’t miss this. Jesus is driving out demons by the Spirit of God. We are
to cast out demons by the Spirit of God as well. Then Jesus says that blasphemy
against the Holy Spirit, will not, and cannot be forgiven.
Jesus is driving out demons by the Holy Spirit, and the
religious leaders were claiming the demons were driven out by Beelzebub. That
is attributing the power of God to the devil and it is blasphemy which is not
forgiven. One can speak badly, or with evil intent against Jesus, but not against
the Holy Spirit. Therefore if one attributes miracles done by the Holy Spirit
to the devil, then that one is blaspheming and will not be forgiven. This
however does not mean that the blasphemer is not saved. Jesus goes on.
Matt 12:33-37 Either make the tree sound (healthy and
good), and its fruit sound (healthy and good), or make the tree rotten
(diseased and bad), and its fruit rotten (diseased and bad); for the tree is
known and recognized and judged by its fruit. 34 You offspring of vipers! How
can you speak good things when you are evil (wicked)? For out of the fullness
(the overflow, the superabundance) of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 The good
man from his inner good treasure flings forth good things, and the evil man out
of his inner evil storehouse flings forth evil things. 36 But I tell you, on
the day of judgment men will have to give account for every idle (inoperative,
nonworking) word they speak. 37 For by your words you will be justified and
acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced. AMP
Jesus says they are diseased and bad trees, and an
offspring of vipers. So Jesus did some name calling here. He must have been
very mad at what the religious leaders had just done, denying the power of the
Holy Ghost. How many people deny miracles exist today, and how many deny the
power of the Spirit of God? Do not do this, do not deny the power of the Spirit
of God. Do not tell others that a miracle done in someone else’s life was not
from the Holy Ghost but from demons. Not only will the one who says these
things not be forgiven, that one will not ever have the power of God in his or
her life. Mark reiterates this.
Mark 3:28-29 Truly and solemnly I say to you, all sins
will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever abusive and blasphemous [988]
things they utter; 29 But whoever speaks abusively against or maliciously
misrepresents [987] the Holy Spirit can never get forgiveness, but is guilty of
and is in the grasp of an everlasting trespass. AMP
The Apostle Paul was murdering people and denying the
power of the Spirit of God, and as he says, he did it ignorantly; 1 Tim 1:13.
Yet Paul says he received mercy but was never sure he was forgiven, he always
considered himself to be the least of all the saints. This is probably why Paul was happy to be
martyred because he knew that he had been a blasphemer and it weighed heavily
on his heart. Luke also tells us something new.
Luke 12:8-10And I tell you, Whoever declares openly
[speaking out freely] and confesses that he is My worshiper and acknowledges Me
before men, the Son of Man also will declare and confess and acknowledge him
before the angels of God. 9 But he who disowns and denies and rejects and
refuses to acknowledge Me before men will be disowned and denied and rejected
and refused acknowledgement in the presence of the angels of God. 10 And
everyone who makes a statement or speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will
be forgiven him; but he who blasphemes [987] against the Holy Spirit [that is,
whoever intentionally comes short of the reverence due the Holy Spirit], it
will not be forgiven him [for him there is no forgiveness]. AMP
Whoever intentionally comes short of the reverence due the
Holy Spirit is not forgiven. Not only is speaking against the Holy Ghost bad
but being disrespectful to the Holy Ghost is unforgivable too. Why? Because the
entire mission and ministry of the Holy Spirit was to help mankind, and when
someone gets healed, we should be acknowledging that as a blessing given by the
Spirit of God. Isaiah explains why the Lord became Israel’s enemy, because they
vexed His Holy Spirit.
Isa 63:7-14 I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the
Lord, and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord hath bestowed
on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath
bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of
his lovingkindnesses.8 For he said, Surely they are my people, children that
will not lie: so he was their Saviour.9 In all their affliction he was
afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his
pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.10
But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be
their enemy, and he fought against them.11 Then he remembered the days of old,
Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea
with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within
him? 12 That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm,
dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?13 That led
them through the deep, as an horse in the wilderness, that they should not
stumble?14 As a beast goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of the Lord caused
him to rest: so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name. KJV
In order for people to come out of a spiritual coma they
have to stop rebelling and vexing the Holy Spirit. The Lord remembers the days
of Moses, and the people asking where the Lord went who put His Holy Spirit within
Moses and brought them out of bondage. Why do animals go into the valley? They
find rest as well as water and grasses to eat, and that is what the Spirit of
the Lord wants to do, give people rest and nourishment. If we recognize that the
Spirit of the Lord wants to help people, then why do people speak badly and
disrespect the Holy Spirit? That does not make sense, which tells us that there
must be a distortion from the devil involved in keeping people in a spiritual
coma. Somehow the devil has convinced people that the Holy Spirit is not
interested in helping humans. The Holy Spirit is also called the Spirit of
Wisdom, and Solomon knew the Spirit of Wisdom very well! Do not believe all the
negative fairytales about Solomon, he was a remarkable man who asked for the
Spirit of Wisdom rather than anything else. If you had a magic lamp and had one
wish, what would it be for? Would it be for the Holy Spirit, or something else?
Money? Power? Solomon wanted the Spirit of Wisdom.
Wisdom 1:1-11 Love righteousness, ye that be judges of
the earth: think of the Lord with a good (heart,) and in simplicity of heart
seek him.2 For he will be found of them that tempt him not; and sheweth himself
unto such as do not distrust him.3 For froward thoughts separate from God: and
his power, when it is tried, reproveth the unwise.4 For into a malicious soul
wisdom shall not enter; nor dwell in the body that is subject unto sin.5 For
the holy spirit of discipline will flee deceit, and remove from thoughts that
are without understanding, and will not abide when unrighteousness cometh in.6
For wisdom is a loving spirit; and will not acquit a blasphemer of his words:
for God is witness of his reins, and a true beholder of his heart, and a hearer
of his tongue.7 For the Spirit of the Lord filleth the world: and that which
containeth all things hath knowledge of the voice.8 Therefore he that speaketh
unrighteous things cannot be hid: neither shall vengeance, when it punisheth,
pass by him.9 For inquisition shall be made into the counsels of the ungodly:
and the sound of his words shall come unto the Lord for the manifestation of
his wicked deeds.10 For the ear of jealousy heareth all things: and the noise
of murmurings is not hid.11 Therefore beware of murmuring, which is
unprofitable; and refrain your tongue from backbiting: for there is no word so
secret, that shall go for nought: and the mouth that belieth slayeth the soul.KJV
The Holy Spirit flees sinful behavior because the Holy
Spirit is a loving Spirit. That is why a blasphemer is not acquitted of his
words, because one is blaspheming a loving Spirit. The Holy Spirit fills the
world and has a voice in the world that some can hear. That is also why people
should not be speaking against the Holy Spirit. God gives the Spirit of Wisdom
from above for people to be taught how to become pleasing to God. Again, the
Holy Spirit is for our benefit, therefore if one tries to dissuade someone from
receiving or operating the gifts of the Holy Spirit, that person is blaspheming
and disrespecting the Holy Spirit.
Wisdom 9:13-18 For what man is he that can know the
counsel of God? or who can think what the will of the Lord is?14 For the thoughts
of mortal men are miserable, and our devices are but uncertain.15 For the
corruptible body presseth down the soul, and the earthy tabernacle weigheth
down the mind that museth upon many things.16 And hardly do we guess aright at
things that are upon earth, and with labour do we find the things that are
before us: but the things that are in heaven who hath searched out?17 And thy
counsel who hath known, except thou give wisdom, and send thy Holy Spirit from
above?18 For so the ways of them which lived on the earth were reformed, and
men were taught the things that are pleasing unto thee, and were saved through
wisdom. KJV
The body and soul of a human weighs us down or holds us
back, but the Holy Spirit reforms humans, teaching us the things that are
pleasing to God. Solomon says they were saved through Wisdom, this is before
Jesus came to make salvation available. This understanding is that the saints
of the Old Testament times were redeemed through Wisdom. The Spirit of the Lord
led Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob into communion with Yahweh. The Holy Spirit is
like a breeze, or gently moving air. Look at Solomon’s poetic words regarding
the Holy Spirit.
Wisdom 7:22-30 For wisdom, which is the worker of all
things, taught me: for in her is an understanding spirit holy, one only,
manifold, subtil, lively, clear, undefiled, plain, not subject to hurt, loving
the thing that is good quick, which cannot be letted, ready to do good,23 Kind
to man, steadfast, sure, free from care, having all power, overseeing all
things, and going through all understanding, pure, and most subtil, spirits.24
For wisdom is more moving than any motion: she passeth and goeth through all
things by reason of her pureness.25 For she is the breath of the power of God,
and a pure influence flowing from the glory of the Almighty: therefore can no
defiled thing fall into her.26 For she is the brightness of the everlasting
light, the unspotted mirror of the power of God, and the image of his
goodness.27 And being but one, she can do all things: and remaining in herself,
she maketh all things new: and in all ages entering into holy souls, she maketh
them friends of God, and prophets.28 For God loveth none but him that dwelleth
with wisdom.29 For she is more beautiful than the sun, and above all the order
of stars: being compared with the light, she is found before it.30 For after
this cometh night: but vice shall not prevail against wisdom. KJV
These words are beautiful. The Holy Spirit makes people
friends of God and prophets. It is important for us to understand that the Holy
Spirit is here to bring us to the place of living holy because God loves those
that dwell with Wisdom. This is what we see in the story of Susanna which was
originally part of the book of Daniel but was taken out by the Masorete’s.
Susanna was being falsely accused and cried out to God to help her, God raised
up the Holy Spirit in a young man who came to her aid.
Sus 42-48 Then Susanna cried out with a loud voice, and
said, O everlasting God, that knowest the secrets, and knowest all things
before they be:43 Thou knowest that they have borne false witness against me,
and, behold, I must die; whereas I never did such things as these men have maliciously
invented against me.44 And the Lord heard her voice.45 Therefore when she was
led to be put to death, the Lord raised up the holy spirit of a young youth
whose name was Daniel:46 Who cried with a loud voice, I am clear from the blood
of this woman.47 Then all the people turned them toward him, and said, What
mean these words that thou hast spoken?48 So he standing in the midst of them
said, Are ye such fools, ye sons of Israel, that without examination or
knowledge of the truth ye have condemned a daughter of Israel? KJV
Daniel must have been listening to the Holy Spirit because
his words got her set free and her accusers condemned. Again, the Holy Spirit
is here on earth to help, how dare we deny the works or power of the Holy
Spirit? Ezra was concerned that just reproving people at that time would not
help those who would be born in a later time. Ezra was smart to ask for the
Holy Ghost to be able to help him write down prophecy for people who will live
in the latter days. This is another book the Masorete’s eliminated from their Bible.
Thankfully some people put it back into some texts.
2 Esd 14:20-22 Behold, Lord, I will go, as thou hast
commanded me, and reprove the people which are present: but they that shall be
born afterward, who shall admonish them? thus the world is set in darkness, and
they that dwell therein are without light.21 For thy law is burnt, therefore no
man knoweth the things that are done of thee, or the work that shall begin.22
But if I have found grace before thee, send the Holy Ghost into me, and I shall
write all that hath been done in the world since the beginning, which were
written in thy law, that men may find thy path, and that they which will live
in the latter days may live. KJV
Ezra was a wonderful servant, he was hoping to help
people in the future. Likewise, if you want the Holy Spirit in your life just
ask. Ezra asked; and Jesus tells us to ask for the Holy Spirit.
Luke 11:13 If you then, evil as you are, know how to give
good gifts [gifts that are to their advantage] to your children, how much more
will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to
ask Him! AMP
The Holy Spirit does not belong to an exclusive club for
only certain people, the Holy Spirit was given to all humans. Unfortunately,
people have made the Holy Spirit out to be a weird or strange thing. Yet if it
wasn’t for the Holy Spirit we would not have our Bible.
2 Peter 1:21 For no prophecy ever originated because some
man willed it [to do so — it never came by human impulse], but men spoke from
God who were borne along (moved and impelled) by the Holy Spirit. AMP
Who wrote the scriptures? The Holy Spirit. Just like Ezra
asked for the Holy Spirit to help write things for future people, the Holy
Spirit is the author of the Bible. When people delete entire sections of
scripture that the Holy Spirit gave to man to write, those people are
disrespecting the Holy Spirit. People who distort the Holy Spirit’s words are
also blaspheming the Holy Spirit, without actually saying so. Since the Holy
Spirit gave men the words to write, someone who erases, distorts, destroys, or
changes the words of the Holy Spirit, are saying that they know better than the
Holy Spirit. It is simply not possible for humans to know more than the Holy
Spirit. Anyone who tells you that they know better than the Holy Spirit is a
liar and a deceiver. This is how many Americans have ended up in a spiritual
coma or spiritual dead zone. Many individuals would rather believe people who
say the gifts died with the apostles or the Holy Spirit is just an “it” that
has no function today. Comatose Christians do not ask for the Holy Spirit.
Comatose Christians do not care about the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Comatose
Christians do not get healed or minister healing to others. It is time to wake
up.
Eph 1:12-14 So that we who first hoped in Christ [who
first put our confidence in Him have been destined and appointed to] live for
the praise of His glory! 13 In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth,
the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered
to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy
Spirit. 14 That [Spirit] is the guarantee of our inheritance [the firstfruits,
the pledge and foretaste, the down payment on our heritage], in anticipation of
its full redemption and our acquiring [complete] possession of it — to the
praise of His glory. AMP
If you hoped in Christ you were stamped with the seal of
the long promised Holy Spirit. Why then should any Christian speak against or
disrespect the Holy Spirit, or try to persuade another Christian against the
Holy Spirit? If you want to stay dead, stay dead, but there are too many
hurting people searching for help and not enough Spirit filled Christians to
serve.
Eph 4:29-30 Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil
word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only
such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as
is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give
grace (God's favor) to those who hear it. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit
of God [do not offend or vex or sadden Him], by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded
as God's own, secured) for the day of redemption (of final deliverance through
Christ from evil and the consequences of sin). AMP
In order to come out of this spiritual coma in America, we have to stop grieving the Holy
Spirit. American Christians have to behave better, following the instruction
Paul gave us because if we don’t we are rejecting God who gave us the Holy
Spirit to help us live better.
1 Thess 4:7-8 For God has not called us to impurity but
to consecration [to dedicate ourselves to the most thorough purity]. 8
Therefore whoever disregards (sets aside and rejects this) disregards not man
but God, Whose [very] Spirit [Whom] He gives to you is holy (chaste, pure). AMP
Please note, it is the Holy Spirit who declares that in
the latter times there will be people who follow demons. The Holy Spirit tells
us this. If there are people in the church who are not aware of the ministry of
the Holy Spirit, it is because people have been led to follow demons, even if
it was a Pastor or Preacher who led them to the doctrines of demons.
1 Tim 4:1-5 BUT THE [Holy] Spirit distinctly and
expressly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith,
giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons
teach, 2 Through the hypocrisy and pretensions of liars whose consciences are
seared (cauterized), 3 Who forbid people to marry and [teach them] to abstain
from [certain kinds of] foods which God created to be received with
thanksgiving by those who believe and have [an increasingly clear] knowledge of
the truth. 4 For everything God has created is good, and nothing is to be
thrown away or refused if it is received with thanksgiving. 5 For it is
hallowed and consecrated by the Word of God and by prayer. AMP
Isn’t that interesting? Look at the difference between
what God offers us through the Holy Spirit, and what demons offer us. Shouldn’t
that make sense to everyone? Demons
distort things and put people into bondage. Being set free from demons or an
illness through the Holy Spirit is good, right? The devil might want people to
think the opposite, but healings and blessings always come from the Holy
Spirit. I know I have heard people say that someone who has their prayer
language is demon possessed, again that is a blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
Don’t say that.
1 Cor 12:3 Therefore I want you to understand that no one
speaking under the power and influence of the [Holy] Spirit of God can [ever]
say, Jesus be cursed! And no one can [really] say, Jesus is [my] Lord, except by
and under the power and influence of the Holy Spirit. AMP
Shame on those people who have discouraged others against
the gifts of the Holy Spirit! Those Preachers and Pastors have spoken
blasphemously and innocent people have believed them which has put America into
the spiritual darkness she is in.
1 Cor 12:7-10 But to each one is given the manifestation
of the [Holy] Spirit [the evidence, the spiritual illumination of the Spirit]
for good and profit. 8 To one is given in and through the [Holy] Spirit [the
power to speak] a message of wisdom, and to another [the power to express] a
word of knowledge and understanding according to the same [Holy] Spirit; 9 To
another [wonder-working] faith by the same [Holy] Spirit, to another the
extraordinary powers of healing by the one Spirit; 10 To another the working of
miracles, to another prophetic insight (the gift of interpreting the divine
will and purpose); to another the ability to discern and distinguish between
[the utterances of true] spirits [and false ones], to another various kinds of
[unknown] tongues, to another the ability to interpret [such] tongues. AMP
It is the Holy Spirit who works in us when we minister to
those in need. If you are not sure of these gifts, find a group that can teach
you about them, rather than staying in spiritual darkness. How else can America
wake up from the spiritual coma she is in if her people refuse the Holy Spirit.
http://musingsofawinsomeheart.blogspot.com/2012/04/gifts-and-power-of-holy-spirit-for.html
Heb 2:1-4SINCE ALL this is true, we ought to pay much
closer attention than ever to the truths that we have heard, lest in any way we
drift past [them] and slip away. 2 For if the message given through angels [the
Law spoken by them to Moses] was authentic and proved sure, and every violation
and disobedience received an appropriate (just and adequate) penalty, 3 How
shall we escape [appropriate retribution] if we neglect and refuse to pay
attention to such a great salvation [as is now offered to us, letting it drift
past us forever]? For it was declared at first by the Lord [Himself], and it
was confirmed to us and proved to be real and genuine by those who personally
heard [Him speak]. 4 [Besides this evidence] it was also established and
plainly endorsed by God, Who showed His approval of it by signs and wonders and
various miraculous manifestations of [His] power and by imparting the gifts of
the Holy Spirit [to the believers] according to His own will. AMP
The Lord himself declared the truth to us through the
Apostles by signs and wonders, and various miraculous manifestations by
imparting the gifts of the Holy Spirit to believers. It seems that our African
brothers and sisters are correct in their understanding that America is
unconscious regarding spiritual matters. The more blasphemy and disrespect of
the Holy Spirit Americans are allowed to spew, the less power the Christian
Church actually has. Pastors have endeavored to control the Holy Spirit and put
the called out in bondage to rules regarding the Holy Spirit, rather than
allowing the Holy Spirit to direct the called out. That is the opposite of what
is supposed to happen. That in turn has made the called out unable to flow in
the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Most Pastors breathe a sigh of relief over this,
but the Holy Spirit is grieved. The entire purpose for the Holy Spirit to be on
earth is to help humanity and the very people who are supposed to lead the
called out into a relationship with the Holy Spirit are the ones blaspheming
and disrespecting the Holy Spirit. Just like those who have taken out entire
sections of scripture or erased phrases in scripture to promote their own
agenda, there is a huge lack of regard for the words the Holy Spirit gave us.
In order for the American church to come out of her coma, she must embrace the
Holy Spirit and allow the Spirit of God to lead the called out in all things.
