Fall Feasts, Asteroids and Aquarius

There was one time of year where God made sure people would have to be outside looking at the sky.  During the Fall Feasts there were reasons to be outside.  God in His wisdom and foreknowledge set up the New Year with a requirement; at the first sign of the sliver of the new moon, confirmed by two witnesses, the trumpets would announce the New Year.  Ten days later was the Day of Atonement, where sin was atoned for.  Then five days after that was Tabernacles, the time of eating and sleeping in booths outside to remember the 40 years in the wilderness.  This was celebrated for seven days.  So at the fall feasts there were two times, Trumpets and Tabernacles, where God intended people to be outside looking up at the sky.  With that in mind, it would also seem God ordained announcements from the heavens at this time.  As we have seen the date of Jesus’ birth on Rosh Hashanah we also notice some other announcements in the heavens.  Last year as comet Elenin passed by, along with several other comets and asteroids, they all seem to say over and over again, Jesus is coming.  It was a heads up announcement, so to speak.  This year we saw comets as well as two asteroids passing by at feast time.  Today with the advent of computer astronomy programs, we are not limited to what we can see outside.  Let’s look at the two comets.

If we were night sky observers we would have started to notice something around the 11th of September, 2012; two asteroids moving through the constellations.  With the help of our computer or smart phone apps we could look at the night sky and confirm our observations.  One asteroid called 2012 QG42  would be coming out of Aquarius on 9/11/2012 and moving into Equuleus, then Delphinus, and then at its closest point on 9/13/2012 in Aquilia, The Wounded Eagle.  2012 QG42 then would move into Hercules on the 15th.  The new year, Rosh Hashanah, starts on the evening of the 16th and this asteroid continues in Hercules.  It then moves into Bootes on the 18th. The 23rd is the Atumnal Equonix, where the asteroid is still in Bootes.  On the day of Atonement the asteroid 2012 QG42 is in the heel of Bootes which is the 25th, Yom Kippur.   On the 30th, Soukkot, it moves into Coma Berenices. What can we gather from its movement?  First coming out of Aquarius it reminds us of living water poured out on the redeemed, we should pay attention to that.  Then at its closest point to us, it moves through the wounded eagle. That reminds us of the smitten one falling.  Delphinus is the dolphin, the dead one rising again. On the start of the New Year, the asteroid is in Hercules, reminding us of the mighty man is in the midst of the conflict with the enemy the dragon.  On the Day of Atonement, moving through Bootes, 2012 QG42 loudly announces he’s coming.  So in summation, remember the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the one who was wounded is still alive, he was dead but rises again, but the mighty man is in the middle of fighting the dragon, and He is coming.

Starting in the southern hemisphere, 2012 QC8 on September 11th, 2012, is in Tucana.  It is in Hydrus, (not Hydra) on 9/12/12; then it moves into Mensa on 9/13/12 at its closest point. On 9/14 it is in Volans and on 9/15-17, during the start of Rosh Hashanah, in Argo. On 9/18 it moves into Antlia, 9/19-20 in Hydra, then 9/22-24 in Crater. Then on 9/25-10/18 in is in Leo. This asteroid 2012 QC8 is announcing to us coming up from the southern tropics. It then shows us that the serpent’s lover Hydrus , which is moving toward Hydra, means evil is multiplying, spawning. But at its closest point to us we are reminded that He has set a table before “me” in the presence of “my” enemies, which is Mensa, the table.  Volans represents the redeemed (fish) flying, being given a means of escape.  On Rosh Hashanah 2012 QC8 is in Argo, the ship that carries the weary travelers’ home.  Then the asteroid moves through the female serpent Hydra, the mother of all evil, then into Crater the divine wrath poured out upon the earth, the cup of wrath.   On the Day of Atonement through Sukkot, the asteroid moves in Leo, the lion of the tribe of Judah.  The summation here is reminding us that although we may have pleasant lands, and enjoyed pleasant times, evil is multiplying, yet we are made a pleasant feast by our Lord in the midst of the enemies. The redeemed will be given a passage by flight to the great ship where the redeemed pilgrims are given rest and transport home.  The serpent will be destroyed, and the divine wrath will be poured out upon the earth, and we see the lion of the tribe of Judah, the Messiah’s consummated triumph, reigning victorious.

Putting these messages together we read: Remember the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the one who was wounded is still alive, he that was dead rises again, but the mighty man is in the middle of fighting the dragon, and He is coming.  Although we may have been in pleasant lands, and enjoyed pleasant times, evil is multiplying, yet we are made a pleasant feast by our Lord in the midst of the enemies. We might add, so comfort one another with these words.  This is what the night sky is saying by way of two asteroids passing by during the 2012 season of the Fall Feasts.

In looking at Aquarius the constellation we may wonder what the picture of the water bearer is all about.  It tells us of rivers of water made alive being poured out on the redeemed.  Jesus said something odd, he points to this idea being written in scripture, but it truly is not written in our canonized work. It is written in the heavens.  If somehow we lost Old Testament writings, we still have it written in the heavens.  Either Jesus referred to a written book we don’t have, or he referred to the heavens as scripture; either way we at least have it written in the stars, and no one can erase that.

John 7:36-39 What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come? 37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)KJV

So we see by explanation in verse 39, that Jesus was speaking of what would occur on Pentecost.  Water that is alive will come out those who believe.  In the Old Testament Yahweh is speaking to Jeremiah and declares himself the fountain of living waters.  The problem is that the people could not hold the living waters because they were cracked vessels; it all leaked out.  Then Jeremiah speaks in reference to Yahweh as the fountain of living waters.

Jer 2:13 For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.KJV
Jer 17:13 O Lord (Yahweh), the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord (Yahweh), the fountain of living waters.KJV

Jesus spoke to the woman at the well, and spoke of her asking him for living water.  If she knew who he was she would be asking him for water rather than explaining why she couldn’t give him some water.

John 4:10-14 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.KJV

Jesus spoke of himself as the giver of living water, he is the water bearer to the redeemed.  But what feast was it where Jesus was speaking to the people about living water from John 7? It was the feast of tabernacles.

Lev 23:34-36 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the Lord.35 On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.KJV

On the last day of the feast, Jesus said that those that believe on him would have water that is alive, flowing out of their belly.  Each day of the feast the Priest would take a pitcher of water from the pool of Siloam and pour it on the altar as an offering.  It was to symbolize the water flowing from a rock as the Israelites wandered in the wilderness. This is when Jesus made the statement “If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”  What a great picture of Jesus the rock of our salvation, bringing forth living water.  The Picture of Aquarius, the water bearer, pouring out water, is to the redeemed, those who believed on Christ, before his coming and also after his coming. Like Pisces, this is to anyone who believes on Him.  From E.W. Bullingers Witness of the Stars we read:

Aquarius
There are 108 stars in this Sign, four of which are of the 3rd magnitude. Their names, as far as they have come down to us, are significant.
The star a (in the right shoulder) is called Sa ad al Melik, which means the record of the pouring forth.
The star <3 (in the other shoulder) is called Saad al Sund, who goeth and returneth, or the pourer out.
The bright star 8 (in the lower part of the right leg) is well-known to-day by its Hebrew name Scheat, which means who goeth and returneth.
The bright star in the urn has an Egyptian name Mon or Meon, which means simply an urn.
Aquarius is the modern Latin name by which the sign is known. It has the same meaning, the pourer forth of water.

Aquarius means the pouring forth, who goeth and returneth.  From Joseph A Seiss’ book The Gospel in the Stars we read further:

THE SIGN OF AQUARIUS
Amid all these earthly varnishes which paganism has daubed over the picture we still may see the sacred image shining through. The true Ganymedes is the beautiful Lord Jesus, "the chief among ten thousand, and altogether lovely." Cut off was He in His early manhood, but divinely lifted up again, borne away to heaven on unfailing wings, seated in brightness and glory beside the everlasting Father, loved and approved as God's only-begotten Son, made the sovereign Lord and Dispenser of grace and salvation, and by His merit procuring and pouring out the very " river of water of life." The urn He holds is the exhaustless reservoir of all the fulness of renewing, comforting, and sanctifying power. And the turning of that holy urn for its contents to flow down into the world below is the precise picture of the fulfilment of those old prophetic promises: "I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground : I will pour out my Spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring;" "I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh ; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions " (Isa. 44 : 3 ; Joel 2:28).

The name of the principal star in this sign — Saad al Melik — means Record of the out- pouring. The Coptic, Greek, and Latin names of the sign itself signify The Pourer-forth of water, The exalted Waterman, as though specially to designate Him who says. "If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink!' Promise of the Holy Spirit. When Christ was about to leave the world He said to His followers, "It is expedient for you that I go away ; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you ; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you. . . . He will guide you into all truth. . . . He will show you things to come. . . . He shall glorify me : for He shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you" (John 16). That promise included all the divine life-power issuing from the mediation of Christ for the illumination, regeneration, and salvation of men — all the renewing, cleansing, comforting, and energizing grace for the gathering of the elect and the bringing of believers to eternal life and glory. The Holy Ghost was in the world from the beginning, but here was the promise of a new and enlarged grant and endowment, to lift, nourish, and distinguish Christian believers. The same was gloriously fulfilled on the day of Pentecost, when " suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and filled all the house where they were sitting ; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." And when the Jews mocked and derided, the sacred explanation was that Jesus, being raised up again from the dead and exalted to the right hand of God, and having so received of the Father, was now the Giver and Shedder-forth of this marvelous power. He is thus presented to our contemplation as the glorified Pourer-forth from heaven of the blessed waters of life and salvation; in other words, the true Aquarius, of whom the picture in the sign was the prophecy and foreshowing. Wherever the Scriptures represent the Spirit and grace of God under the imagery of waters, the idea of unfailing supply and plenteous abundance is also invariably connected with it. Sometimes it is a plentiful rain ; sometimes it is a voluminous fountain ; sometimes it is a great river flowing with fullness that supplies a thousand life-freighted rivulets. Inspiration tells us that the rock smitten by Moses was the type of the smiting of Christ and the blessings proceeding from Him ; but in that case the waters "gushed ; they ran in dry places like a river." Isaiah sings : " The glorious Lord will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams." Ezekiel's river was deep and broad, healing even the Dead Sea with the abundance of its flow. Zechariah says these heavenly waters flow out to both seas, and continue without cessation summer and winter alike. God's promise is, " I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys : I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water;" which, as John Brentius says, "denotes the great plenteousness of the Word and eternal blessedness flowing from Christ the Fountain." And the same is characteristic of the picture in this sign. From the urn of Aquarius flows a vast, constant, and voluminous river. It flows in a bending stream both to eastward and westward, and enlarges as it flows. The imagery of the Scriptures and the imagery of this sign are exactly of a piece, and the true reason of the coincidence is, that both were meant to record and set forth the same glorious evangelic truths.

Again, the Priests were pouring water out onto the altar in remembrance of Moses hitting a rock and water pouring out to relieve the thirst of the Israelites. Jesus on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles told everyone that he was the rock, and once he was smitten, water would pour out onto and into those who believe, and in turn, out of those redeemed believers would flow living water.  The believers would never thirst again.  In three different ways people would one day declare they are of the Lord, (vs.5) and then Yahweh will pour water, his spirit, and blessing upon them.  Here Yahweh says he is the first and the last, just as in Revelation.

Isa 44:2-7  Thus saith the Lord (Yahweh) that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:4 And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.5 One shall say, I am the Lord's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the Lord, and surname himself by the name of Israel.6 Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.KJV

We also see that when the Lord brings back the Israelites, he will cleanse them with water and fill them with a new spirit.

Ezek 36:24-29 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.KJV

We next see a sequence in time: after that time, then I will pour, then I will shew wonders, before the day of the Lord.  We are in the in between time of the pouring out before the terrible day of the Lord.

Joel 2:28-31 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.KJV

So while the promise of the pouring out of the Spirit comes on the day of Pentecost, it will also be in existence in the Millennial reign, cleansing and pouring into Israel, those who are living during Jesus’ reign, after the terrible day of the Lord and before satan is loosed again to go out and deceive the nations. Looking again at sequence from Hosea:

Hos 5:15 I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.KJV
Hos 6:2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.KJV

In the meantime we are living in the age of Pisces, not Aquarius, and the time of the Spirit poured out on the redeemed. Jesus told the disciples to wait for the promise of the Holy Spirit, then they received the promise.  Peter explained to those who didn’t understand that this is what Joel spoke about.  After that three thousand were saved.

Acts 1:3-11 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.KJV
Acts 2:1-4 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.KJV
Acts 2:14-17 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: KJV
Acts 2:36-41 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.KJV

This is the significance of the Constellation of Aquarius, bringing the promise of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the redeemed.  The heavens are not silent as we have seen, it’s not just an old story written about the past it continues to encourage us today, showing us His story is very much alive.
