It takes a trained eye to spot weeds in a flowerbed. They always seem to find their way where they are not wanted. When we try to pull the weeds out we inevitably uproot the flowers we want to grow. Once we clear the weeds we can rest for a few days before we have to go out again to pull new weeds from the flowers. The wisdom of the Elohim is so intricate and complex as we can see the opposite approach as told in a parable by Jesus. Jesus says to let the weeds grow up with the wheat. The servants of the Lord should be able to recognize who are wheat and who are weeds. Jesus also points out that even though people use his name, they may be using it illegally. If there is one thing we should get right, as servants, it is our use of Jesus’ name. Paul tells us to help one another. He says that whatever we do personally, whatever we plant, we will harvest, and it is up to us to make sure we are teaching the younger generations the logos of the kingdom of heaven and its secrets, so that they can enter in too. Let’s explore.
The first thing we want to notice is that Jesus is speaking to his disciples about the kingdom of heaven. We are not speaking of heaven in general, but the kingdom of heaven, the place where only called, chosen, and faithful disciples attain to. Jesus told them these things in parables.

Jesus told the disciples that he spoke in parables because it was not for the multitude to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. A parable is a juxtaposition, which is a comparison of two different things, or a similitude, things that are similar with a story that conveys a moral. A mystery is a secret or something hidden. Why is Jesus only telling his disciples about the mysteries of the kingdom of the heavens? Is it possible that there are enemies among the crowds? Weeds?

Jesus says that many prophets and just ones, or righteous and holy people, desired to hear and see these parables. Jesus then goes on to explain that the sowers seeds and the ones with the prepared ground, or prepared heart, will bear fruit. This helps us to understand that not all people who hear and believe the word produce the same amount of fruit, but some more than others, while there are seeds which never took root or died off before taking root. This then leads into a parable regarding weeds.

Here a man sows good seeds in his field. Have you ever planted seeds? No one plants weeds intentionally, but somehow the weed seeds always find their way to the places we don’t want them. There is some effort made to prepare the ground for the good seeds yet without fail weeds seem to spring up. After planting the seeds we water the ground, rest, and wait.
Matthew 13:25 G1722 And during G1161 G3588 the G2518 sleeping G3588 of the G444 men, G2064 [3came G1473 1his G3588 G2190 2enemy] G2532 and G4687 sowed G2215 tares G303.1 in the midst G3588 of the G4621 grain, G2532 and G565 went forth.
Lots of things happen when we are asleep, figuratively, literally, and spiritually. When we are resting, our physical and spiritual enemies are working towards our destruction. This is why there were watchmen on the walls of the cities or security cameras today. The watchmen were supposed to alert those resting regarding their enemies. In the spiritual realm, there are always enemies about, but we have to sleep and rest, so how do we guard while we sleep? Isn’t that the commission of the sons of the Elohim who are set to minister to the heirs of salvation? Have we given them charge?
In our day, the watchmen have been fooled by the pseudo-religious organizations that present themselves as “do gooders” while ultimately working on behalf of our enemies who have been planing our destruction. This is a problem with tares.
Did Yahweh Elohim know that an enemy would sow tares into his field? Yes. That was the purpose of Jesus coming to earth to show the multifaceted wisdom of the Elohim to the principalities and powers.

It is through the church, ekklesia, the assembly, that the principalities and powers find out they are defeated. The multifaceted, multifarious, manifold, much variegated, wisdom, is literally the many different colored wisdom, polupoikilos sophia. This is described as a kaleidoscope wisdom. Wisdom, sophia, is diverse and deep like a kaleidoscope. We have seen a children’s toy kaleidoscope where in a cardboard tube there are beads and mirrors that reflect the beads in different patterns as one turns the tube. It is a simple toy, but deep in its meaning is the adjective to wisdom. We could think of it as a funhouse with many mirrors and when we look at one mirror it is hard to find where the actual object is as it is reflected back and forth between many mirrors. We should not picture wisdom or the Elohim as flat, and as black and white. The Elohim, the Father, the Son, and the Spirit of Wisdom, are a variety of colors and their depth is reflected and refracted so that the principalities and powers cannot truly see the Elohim’s original image. The fallen spiritual sons of the Elohim are not all knowing, not creative, and not capable of doing anything other than subverting creation. Yet the Elohim knew these tares would be sown among the heirs of the adam and a plan was in place before the foundations of this age.
It is through the church that the kaleidoscope of colors and refracted images declares the wisdom of the Elohim. This was the intent of the ages, manufactured and constructed in Yahweh Jesus Messiah. There is a great depth to the Elohim’s wisdom which we cannot begin to comprehend, but that we are part of.
What are tares? Tares are darnel. It is known as false wheat. It is poisonous. It looks like wheat as it grows but eventually at maturity it turns black. Darnel also grows a fungus on it, so not only is it something that turns black it has molds and yeasts feeding on it. Ugly.
Matthew 13:26 G3753 And when G1161 G985 [3burst forth G3588 1the G5528 2blade], G2532 and G2590 [2fruit G4160 1produced], G5119 then G5316 appeared G2532 also G3588 the G2215 tares.
The tares were not seen until the plants started to sprout. In the church body, as soon as a congregation starts to grow, the tares appear. The pastor and elders should see this in advance and not as a realization after the tares take root. It takes a keen eye to see the difference. The sower and his servants saw the tares as soon as they sprouted.
Matthew 13:27 G4334 And coming forward, G1161 G3588 the G1401 manservants G3588 of the G3617 master of the house G2036 said G1473 to him, G2962 O Master, G3780 was it not G2570 good G4690 seed G4687 you sowed G1722 in G3588 G4674 your G68 field? The servants noticed that the tares were growing with the wheat and wondered if the seed was bad. The kingdom of heaven is like a man sowing good seed. Imagine the inner portion of the kingdom of heaven, where in Revelation chapter four we see many different sons of the Elohim, and we see thrones. Are there any bad seeds there? No. Let’s take a look.
Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Rev 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
Rev 4:3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
Rev 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
We see a throne and twenty four seats for twenty four elders. These elders are not human or manfaced. These elders are other sons of the Elohim.
Rev 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
There are seven Spirits of the Elohim. Are any of the seven Spirits tares? No. Tares are found on the earth, not in the kingdom of heaven.
Rev 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
Rev 4:7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
Rev 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
There are four beasts with many eyes. There are four beasts with different faces. They have six wings. They declare “Holy Holy Holy”. There is no unholiness here. This is what we should understand. The kingdom of heaven has no unholiness in it and when manfaced shows up those that are invited in are holy because Jesus cleansed us with his blood, making us holy and acceptable.
Rev 4:9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
Rev 4:10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Is this a place of defilement? No. Is this a place of hidden evil? No. Is this a place where the tares can sneak into? No. Is this a place of regular manfaced? No. We only see servants of the Most High Elohim here. So therefore the kingdom of heaven is a holy place with holy beings. In chapter five we, the manfaced who do the Fathers will now, are invited into the throne room and sing about being saved. This is why there will be people on the outside of the kingdom knocking, asking to enter. Jesus will tell them he did not know them. This is why the kingdom of heaven is not for all saved manfaced, but the kingdom of the Elohim is for all saved manfaced. There is a difference as we have recently studied Jesus’ words. Servants who do the Fathers will may be invited to enter the kingdom of heaven. Even though people may have cast out demons, healed the sick, or prophesied in Jesus’ name, they may not be invited in.
The man sowing wheat notes an enemy or a hateful manfaced sowed these weeds.

While Satanas can send spiritual attacks, it takes actual humans to do the will of Satanas and infiltrate the church. These infiltrators are hateful men. These infiltrators are not infiltrating unaware. They know exactly what they are doing. They are doing it on purpose.
Matthew 13:29 G3588 And he G1161 G5346 said, G3756 No, G3379 lest G4816 gathering G3588 the G2215 tares G1610 you should root out G260 together G1473 with them G3588 the G4621 grain.
What happens when a weed prophesies? What happens when a weed casts out demons? What happens when a weed uses the name of Jesus for miracles? It is a crime. It is illegal.
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matthew 7:23 G2532 And G5119 then G3670 I will acknowledge G1473 to them G3754 that, G3763 At no time G1097 I knew G1473 you. G672 Retreat G575 from G1473 me! G3588 O ones G2038 working G3588 G458 lawlessness.
“And at that time I profess that not even at any time know you depart away from me the work the illegality”
Jesus calls these particular people who are using his name for miracles, casting out demons, and prophecy, “lawless”. What does he mean by lawless? The word anomia, means “illegality, sin, or wickedness”. They were using His name without being “of” Him. It would be like claiming that I work for the mayor of the city and I tell construction workers where to build a road, but I have never met the mayor and was not sent by the mayor. I would be using the mayor’s name and title illegally. Jesus said he did not know them. This is why not everyone who says “Yahweh Yahweh” will enter the kingdom of heaven. Again to set our mind in the correct direction, the kingdom of heaven is within the kingdom of the Elohim. While many are called and saved, comparatively not many are chosen to enter the kingdom and in this case it is because they illegally used his name and He did not endorse them.
Many people think they can throw the name of Jesus around like a magic word, and while the name of Jesus has power, and every knee will bow and every tongue confess, it is not a magic word. It is his name, meaning when we use it we have his endorsement. There are people who use his name without ever asking Him if what they are doing is what he wants. How can we have his endorsement if we just plow ahead doing what we think? There is a difference between praying in his name and ministering in his name. These three things are three of the nine gifts of the Spirit. These are not every day prayers that we do in Jesus’ name, we are enacting power when we prophesy, cast out demons, or work miracle power. The difference is between praying and ministering.
This is quite dangerous. We have many churches and ministries who teach people how to minister healing, cast out demons, and prophesy, but do they all teach how to hear from the Lord? If people are not asking Jesus, but are using his name as leverage to extract demons, sickness, or foretell the future, Jesus says they are working wickedness. We all have a lot of repenting to do.
Personal story. I was learning about ministering healing from a healing evangelist ministry in the 80’s. The people ministering always, without fail, asked for direction from the Holy Spirit before ever ministering and laying hands on someone. If someone came to one of the ministers saying that they had a painful tooth, they did not pray for that tooth or anything else until they heard from the Holy Spirit. Most times they did not want the person with the need to tell them what to pray for, they wanted to hear from the Holy Spirit. As I watched and observed a married couple ministering to a young girl, I was seeing something but was not sure what it was. The couple was not getting direction from the Holy Spirit. After quietly praying for several minutes they asked the girl what it was she wanted to be ministered to. As soon as the girl said her lungs, the revelation flooded in and the couple both had a lot to say. They told her they saw that she only had the use of one third of her lungs and that she needed to quit smoking. They told her that the Lord told her to quit, the doctors told her to quit, and others who had prayed for her told her to quit, but she had refused to quit smoking. Then they said they couldn’t do anything for her because of her disobedience to God by not quitting smoking. They told her that they would pray for her strength to quit and that if she would quit then she would be healed. Needless to say the young girl did not get healed that day. Some people may think that the couple should have just ministered in the name of Jesus anyway, but that was not what the Lord wanted and by their obedience to Him, the ministering couple did not use his name illegally.
Why wouldn’t Jesus want someone healed? There is more to physical healing than we think. The Lord wanted the girls obedience. She wanted to keep smoking and be healed. Today’s healing evangelists are a mixed bag of well intentioned people not seeing 100% results because many times when faced with a situation like this where the Lord has a plan, the healing evangelists just uses Jesus’ name in their own will and in their own ideas. Some rationalize that Jesus always wants people healed. That is not always true. Jesus wants disciples, not people who stand in a healing line every time they don’t feel good and yet do not do His will the rest of the week. Let’s not go off the deep end here either. Jesus does not necessarily care if people smoke, and with a different person he may have given the green light to minister to that persons lungs. This is not a black and white issue, which is why we have to hear from the Holy Spirit. Understand that there is a big difference between praying for someone and ministering to someone. Ministering is a gift of the Spirit, and thereby the nature of the gift should be used in agreement with the Holy Spirit.
Do not use Jesus’ name illegally. The tares use Jesus’ name with their own intentions and their own designs, either for self glory or for the tearing down of the true healing ministry of the Holy Spirit. Then there are well intentioned people who have never been taught to check with the Holy Spirit first when using the gifts of the Spirit. There is just not enough decent teaching in the Body of Christ for the servants of Yahweh to receive proper instruction. The well intentioned people who illegally use Jesus’ name will not enter the kingdom of heaven. The tares will enter a bonfire.
The difference between a true healing evangelist and a fake one is 100% results. It is not the praying in Jesus’ name as the magic word that effects the healing. It is the commanding of the thing to be healed which the Holy Spirit says to command, which is the gift of the Spirit, that gets the healing done. The same goes for casting out demons. It is not praying the demons away, it is the command that they must go when the Holy Spirit says so, in Jesus’ name. Jesus also told us that by casting out one demon seven more would enter and the state of that man would be worse than before. Do you think Jesus knew something? Yes he did. The people have to be ready to do the work to keep all the demons out. Only Jesus knows if someone is ready or not. Again don’t use his name illegally.
The man who sowed the wheat told his servants to let the weeds and wheat grow together.

G3588 but the G1161 G4621 grain G4863 you gather together G1519 unto G3588 G596 my storehouse! G1473
“Send forth to increase both as far as the reaping time and in the fitting season the reaping time I say the reaper collect first the darnel and bind them into bundle towards the burn up them the but wheat collect into granary.”
Jesus’ strategy here is to let the wheat and the weeds grow up together until the time of reaping. Then the reapers first collect the tares which are black and have fungus, and bundle them for burning. The wheat is put into a granary. A storehouse is a place to hold the wheat, which is what the kingdom of heaven is like. The weeds being burned were collected from the harvest but separated before entering the kingdom of the Elohim. What is Jesus suggesting here? Some people who hang around the Body of Christ, but who intentionally work for Satanas and his wicked men, will be burnt up. They will be separated from heaven. When the reapers are sent out they are bundled and burned first.
The ones who are the good seed are brought into storage in the kingdom of heaven. This is a group of people who had to live alongside the wicked ones. They may have been fooled when they were both growing up together. They may have mistaken them for good seed. It wasn’t until maturity that the weeds became obvious. Every church has weeds. At first they look like good wheat sprouts, but to the trained eye of the sower and the servants, the weeds are obvious. This is the reason there is a case for maturity in leaders in the Body of Christ.
In youth one may not be able to tell who is a weed, but in maturity it is well known. What is the appropriate age of maturity? Once there was a young worship leader who had just come back from his honeymoon, who proceeded to tell the adults in the room how to have a good marriage. This is not maturity it is youthful arrogance. The people in that room were all twice his age and many had been married longer than the worship leader had been alive. Another time a young children’s pastor spoke to the church and told them the right way to raise their children. His child was only three years old. He should come back when his child is thirty three years old to tell everyone how to raise their children, but sadly he left Christian ministry a few years after his parenting speech. If we are not a sower or servant with a trained eye we may not always see the weeds at first but time does tell.
Paul explains some practical things to us which will help us along the way. Remember that the Elohim’s wisdom is a kaleidoscope of colors that the enemy is learning about through the church. Generally speaking, the household of faith will outlast the weeds, therefore we are to be chiefly good to the believers.

The word translated here spiritual ones, pneumatikos, means “humanly ethereal or supernatural”. This is a state of spiritual being, in other words, spiritual maturity. The mature wheat who are spiritual are to correct sin in humility in the younger wheat. We have all done stupid things, but if we are young wheat then we cannot always tell with certainty if someone is a weed. The spiritual ones are mature believers who in gentleness and meekness correct people in the household. We will see by their response to correction who they are becoming.

Paul says two things here, to carry or endure one another’s burden, but then says that each carries or endures ones own burden. Both are true statements. The context is with regards to transgressions. If we see someone struggling with sin we endure with them, but ultimately each has to endure for himself. This is how we grow in the word and put off transgressions. He then says that the one being taught the logos should fellowship with the one teaching good. Paul is suggesting a more communal approach to life and study in the logos than meeting once per week. The mature believers hang around the young believers. This is how we help one another, remembering that we are not special in and of our own selves. What age is maturity?
Paul continues and says that the Elohim will not be ridiculed. Whatever someone sows he will harvest.
Galatians 6:7 G3361 Be not G4105 misled! G2316 God G3756 is not G3456 to be sneered at; G3739 for whatever G1063 G1437 [2should G4687 3sow G444 1a man], G3778 this G2532 also G2325 he shall reap.
This is with the idea that an enemy hasn’t sown weeds in amongst the good seeds. The people are sowing and reaping to themselves. Paul’s point is understood as to what we invest in is what we receive back.
Galatians 6:8 G3754 For G3588 the one G4687 sowing G1519 to G3588 G4561 his own flesh, G1438 G1537 of G3588 the G4561 flesh G2325 shall harvest G5356 corruption; G3588 but the one G1161 G4687 sowing G1519 for G3588 the G4151 harvest, spirit G1537 of G3588 the G4151 spirit G2325 shall reap G2222 life G166 eternal.
There is clearly a mistake in the translation here. If we work for our own selves, our pleasures, comfort, and desires, then we will have things that are corruptible. However if we work for the spirit in the spirit then we will have life eternal.
Galatians 6:9 G3588 G1161 And in G2570 [2good G4160 1doing] G3361 we should not G1573 tire; G2540 [3time G1063 1for G2398 2in its own] G2325 we shall harvest, G3361 not G1590 fainting.
Paul says to don’t get tired. Remember, the overcomer has to overcome to the end of their lives, there is not a time when we can retire from the spiritual battle that we are in. The mature believers have weathered many storms and flow in gentleness and grace. We will be rewarded if we don’t faint. But there is more. We should be especially good to the household of faith.
Galatians 6:10 G686 So G3767 then G5613 as G2540 [2occasion G2192 1we have], G2038 we should work G3588 G18 good G4314 to G3956 all, G3122 and especially G1161 G4314 to G3588 the G3609 members of the family G3588 of the G4102 belief.
“Then therefore as due measure have labor the good towards each but most of all towards the household the faith.”
Especially, most of all, work good towards the household of faith. When we are speaking of believers we are all of one body, one Spirit, and one hope of our calling, one Lord, one faith, and one baptism and we have one Elohim and Father above all, through all, and in all of us, Ephesians 4. While we might not see it, we are all in the same boat. Therefore being especially good to the Body of Christ, the believers in Jesus Messiah are to be good to one another, both to the mature and the immature. The tares are thrown out in the end, the wheat is gathered and taken inside.
Jesus taught us the mystery to let the wheat grow up with the weeds. Why? The kaleidoscope wisdom of the Elohim is to reveal it to the principalities and power through the church. What then is the church teaching the principalities and powers unawares? It would seem there are many good reasons to let the weeds grow with the wheat. As servants we learn to have a sharp eye, seeing the weeds as they sprout. Servants do not use Jesus’ name illegally. We listen to the Holy Spirit’s direction every time we minister. There is separation between the heavens and the kingdom, we see that the weeds do not enter heaven or the kingdom. On earth, every church garden has weeds. We can grow with the weeds around us and be especially good to the household, the saints who will be taken into the storehouse. And if we are servants we will tune in more sharply and accurately to the Holy Spirit, to hear what the Spirit says regarding ministering to the Body of Christ.
