The Righteous Expose the Unrighteous; Book of Wisdom; The Seal of Eternal Life; Covenant With Death

In the garden of Eden the adam was told that he could have the knowledge of good and evil. The only thing the adam got was the knowledge of evil. Ever since that time, the knowledge of good has become hard to find and evil has abounded. It is the same today. So while the lie presented was to know good and evil, all the world ends up learning and knowing is evil.  We have to fight to know good. We live in a fallen world with the god of this world in rebellion against the Creator Yahweh Jesus Messiah. Solomon shows us a great contrast between the righteous and unrighteous. He presents this in a conversational way, but makes the points clearly. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Wisdom, is not dwelling in or with the unrighteous. The unrighteous have decided that they love death and have made deals with death, but the Elohim is not the author of death. Solomon teaches us some interesting things in his written work the Book of Wisdom. Why would the Masoretes cut out the Book of Wisdom from their canon of scriptures? Is it because this truth sheds light on their behavior? They cannot hide behind the cloak of victimization if this book is publicly known, therefore they deleted it.

If people are unrighteous by their own determination and design then we do not have to feel badly for them. Instead we have to see them clearly for who and what they are because they have a plan for those who are righteous and we should be conscious of it.

Wis 1:1  Love righteousness, ye that be judges of the earth: think of the Lord with a good (heart,) and in simplicity of heart seek him.

We are all judges of the earth, we judge between good and evil all the time. We are not like the Pharisees who look for the sins of others, we judge everything according to the word of God instead. We lead every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

Wis 1:2  For he will be found of them that tempt him not; and sheweth himself unto such as do not distrust him.

What does Solomon mean? We don’t try and make deals with God. We simply trust that he is and that he reveals himself to us.

Wis 1:3  For froward thoughts separate from God: and his power, when it is tried, reproveth the unwise.

Froward means “contrary”. Contrary thoughts separate us from the Elohim. He will reprove the unwise. Sometimes people simply like to be contrary, sometimes people like to be difficult, but the Creator is not interested in our separation from him. One’s own thoughts are the separation.

Wis 1:4  For into a malicious soul wisdom shall not enter; nor dwell in the body that is subject unto sin.

The Holy Spirit will not enter into a malicious soul. The Holy Spirit will not dwell in a body that repeatedly sins. Now think this through. The Holy Spirit does not dwell in Jesus rejecters. The Spirit of wisdom does not dwell in people who do evil. There are no prophetic rabbi’s who are Jesus rejecters. There are no holy religious leaders who reject Jesus Messiah. We need to be clear, those who reject Jesus Christ as Yahweh and Messiah do not have the Holy Spirit within them.

Wis 1:5  For the holy spirit of discipline will flee deceit, and remove from thoughts that are without understanding, and will not abide when unrighteousness cometh in.

The Holy Spirit will not dwell in the deceitful people. The Holy Spirit will leave people who have thoughts that are foolish. The Holy Spirit will not abide in unrighteous people. So far we see that thoughts are the primary problem or cause in being unrighteous. The deceitful foolish thoughts lead to malicious behaviors.

Wis 1:6  For wisdom is a loving spirit; and will not acquit a blasphemer of his words: for God is witness of his reins, and a true beholder of his heart, and a hearer of his tongue.

A blasphemer is someone who speaks irreverently about the Elohim, Yahweh, the Holy Spirit, and the word of God, the logos. Our words are recorded. Jesus told us that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is an unforgivable sin. This tells us that whatever we say against the Holy Spirit is recorded and we suffer some penalty. The Elohim knows our reins, which is technically our kidneys. The Bible notes that this is the seat of our emotions. He knows our heart, our thoughts and intents, and every word.

We have a loving Spirit of Wisdom for the righteous. What do the unrighteous have? The unrighteous have a hateful spirit from their god of death.

Wis 1:7  For the Spirit of the Lord filleth the world: and that which containeth all things hath knowledge of the voice.

The Holy Spirit fills the whole world. There aren’t any places that the Holy Spirit is not present.

Wis 1:8  Therefore he that speaketh unrighteous things cannot be hid: neither shall vengeance, when it punisheth, pass by him.

Here again we see our words recorded. When the Elohim brings vengeance the unrighteous will be remembered.

Wis 1:9  For inquisition shall be made into the counsels of the ungodly: and the sound of his words shall come unto the Lord for the manifestation of his wicked deeds.

Notice that when the Lord questions what took place with an unrighteous person, the person’s words will be heard, and his actions will be seen. We can see why many people want this book buried.

Wis 1:10  For the ear of jealousy heareth all things: and the noise of murmurings is not hid.

Nothing will escape the Elohim. The Elohim desires a relationship with us, but he cannot force a relationship on us, he has to wait, jealously wait, for us to search for him.

Wis 1:11  Therefore beware of murmuring, which is unprofitable; and refrain your tongue from backbiting: for there is no word so secret, that shall go for nought: and the mouth that belieth slayeth the soul.

Our mouth can overtake us and slay our own soul.

Wis 1:12  Seek not death in the error of your life: and pull not upon yourselves destruction with the works of your hands.

We should never wish to die.

Wis 1:13  For God made not death: neither hath he pleasure in the destruction of the living.

The Elohim did not make death, he made life. Satanas brought death to humanity when he stole rulership of the earth from the adam. Drakōn inspired the fall of the sons of God and the sons of God brought death and destruction to the earth. Does the Elohim like death? No. Does he like war? No. Who is in a power struggle to overtake the earth from Yahweh Elohim? Who do the fallen beings use against Yahweh Elohim? Humans.

Wis 1:14  For he created all things, that they might have their being: and the generations of the world were healthful; and there is no poison of destruction in them, nor the kingdom of death upon the earth:

Wis 1:15  (For righteousness is immortal:)

The righteous live eternally. But what is the opposite of immortal? Mortal. Subject to death. We no longer have a garden of Eden on earth. We no longer have a paradise on the earth for us to live in. Nothing will ever change that until the Millennial kingdom on the earth, when Jesus rules and reigns from Jerusalem.

Wis 1:16  But ungodly men with their works and words called it to them: for when they thought to have it their friend, they consumed to nought, and made a covenant with it, because they are worthy to take part with it.

Ungodly people call death to themselves, (context from verse 13). They make death their friend. They consumed but it is all nothing, death is what they choose, rather than life. They even made a covenant with death. They are worthy of death.

Just a side note here. Do unrighteous humans really think that Satanas and the other fallen sons of God will allow them to have some sort of power or rulership in Satanas’ kingdom? Do unrighteous humans really believe that Satanas has some sort of power over the grave? Satanas cannot create anything, he is destined for the lake of fire which burns eternally. He has no power to change his destiny, and he has no power to give to anyone else. All Satanas has is smoke and mirrors.

Someone put a chapter break here where the context should have continued. As we read this section think about the unrighteous on the earth. Solomon called it accurately.

Wis 2:1  For the ungodly said, reasoning with themselves, but not aright, Our life is short and tedious, and in the death of a man there is no remedy: neither was there any man known to have returned from the grave.

Wis 2:2  For we are born at all adventure: and we shall be hereafter as though we had never been: for the breath in our nostrils is as smoke, and a little spark in the moving of our heart:

Wis 2:3  Which being extinguished, our body shall be turned into ashes, and our spirit shall vanish as the soft air,

Wis 2:4  And our name shall be forgotten in time, and no man shall have our works in remembrance, and our life shall pass away as the trace of a cloud, and shall be dispersed as a mist, that is driven away with the beams of the sun, and overcome with the heat thereof.

Wis 2:5  For our time is a very shadow that passeth away; and after our end there is no returning: for it is fast sealed, so that no man cometh again.

Solomon recites what most people think. They think that everyone dies and no one comes back to earth from the grave. They seem to believe that we all just disappear. That we are like a little smoke or a spark when our heart beats and we are going to decay in the ground. Our spirit will vanish and no one will remember us because our life is like a shadow and people don’t come back from the dead.

Notice how the ungodly reason within themselves. Human reason is limited and faulty. They say that since life is short and hard and everyone dies then let’s party. Let’s ponder something. What are all the other sons of God doing? They have not vanished. They are still in existence. If they still exist then we will continue to exist.

Wis 2:6  Come on therefore, let us enjoy the good things that are present: and let us speedily use the creatures like as in youth.

Wis 2:7  Let us fill ourselves with costly wine and ointments: and let no flower of the spring pass by us:

Wis 2:8  Let us crown ourselves with rosebuds, before they be withered:

Wis 2:9  Let none of us go without his part of our voluptuousness: let us leave tokens of our joyfulness in every place: for this is our portion, and our lot is this.

The unrighteous decide because of their own faulty reasoning that there is no afterlife, no eternal life or eternal death. Therefore they focus on enjoying themselves and fulfilling all their own lusts. But that is not all. Besides filling up on lusts they also decide to oppress others. They intentionally decide to oppress others.

Wis 2:10  Let us oppress the poor righteous man, let us not spare the widow, nor reverence the ancient gray hairs of the aged.

Now the behaviors of the unrighteous are aggressive toward the poor, the widows, and the elderly. We hear about these self appointed global leaders making decisions for the entire world. Yet they were never elected by the people. Their ideas are burdensome. They themselves do not have to abide by their new rules. It is time for the regular people to say “no”. But the rich elites will not go away, they will continue to attempt a takeover of the world. Truly, they love to antagonize the laity. They tell us that we will need to wear uniforms in the future. I suppose so that they can identify us quickly. They force solar panels on us for electricity, yet they then say that they want to block out the sun with atmospheric particulates. They are insane and we are insane for allowing them to control us.

Wis 2:11  Let our strength be the law of justice: for that which is feeble is found to be nothing worth.

Wis 2:12  Therefore let us lie in wait for the righteous; because he is not for our turn, and he is clean contrary to our doings: he upbraideth us with our offending the law, and objecteth to our infamy the transgressings of our education.

They make themselves strong in the laws and judicial system. This is how they overtake the poor. They intentionally lie in wait for the righteous. They are not just letting the righteous live quietly because they realize that the righteous oppose their behaviors. The righteous point out the things they do against the Elohim’s laws. The righteous object to the way they famously and very publicly transgress the Laws of Moses. Their sins are on display. This is what the righteous object to because the righteous have a knowledge of God.

Wis 2:13  He professeth to have the knowledge of God: and he calleth himself the child of the Lord.

The righteous who oppose these unrighteous people are attacked for knowing the Elohim. The righteous are children of Yahweh. This makes these unrighteous people the children of Satanas. We see the contrast here.

Wis 2:14  He was made to reprove our thoughts.

The unrighteous believe that the righteous are made to reprove their thoughts. The word of the Elohim reproves their thoughts and actions as well. Now think about this. If they scrape biblical teachings they will be able to block biblical teachings, thereby eliminating the righteous and the logos which reproves their thoughts. While the Masoretes took the primal approach of rejecting the Book of Wisdom, the rich elites will bury all biblical works. Yet they cannot eliminate the Holy Spirit who dwells in the righteous.

Wis 2:15  He is grievous unto us even to behold: for his life is not like other men's, his ways are of another fashion.

The unrighteous can’t even look at the righteous. They know the ways of the righteous are higher ways.

Wis 2:16  We are esteemed of him as counterfeits: he abstaineth from our ways as from filthiness: he pronounceth the end of the just to be blessed, and maketh his boast that God is his father.

The righteous see these unrighteous as counterfeits and know that the righteous are blessed. They are the children of the Elohim while their father is the fallen incorporeal being.

Wis 2:17  Let us see if his words be true: and let us prove what shall happen in the end of him.

The unrighteous want to persecute the righteous and they are going to test the Elohim to prove the Elohim by persecuting the righteous.

Wis 2:18  For if the just man be the son of God, he will help him, and deliver him from the hand of his enemies.

Remember David, Daniel, Ananias, and Azarias, Misael, Paul, Silas, etc. But they want to test the faith of the righteous. Peter told us that the Elohim knows how to deliver the godly and leave the unrighteous for the day of judgment, 2 Peter 2:9.

Wis 2:19  Let us examine him with despitefulness and torture, that we may know his meekness, and prove his patience.

Is it any wonder why we see the evil on earth by a small group of people against the majority of people? The unrighteous want to examine, torture, and prove the righteous. Paul was beaten, he was whipped, he fought with lions, and all because the Jews didn’t want him speaking about Jesus. Others were jailed. Some were stoned.

Wis 2:20  Let us condemn him with a shameful death: for by his own saying he shall be respected.

The unrighteous condemn the righteous to death. It is not the point of martyrdom for us to receive glory in our death. The point is not to waiver in our faith because death is not the end. The glory is the steadfastness in life.

Wis 2:21  Such things they did imagine, and were deceived: for their own wickedness hath blinded them.

Their own wickedness blinded them. They were deceived. The unrighteous think that they are getting away with something but the reality is their words are recorded, their actions are recorded, and their hearts and reins are known.

Wis 2:22  As for the mysteries of God, they knew them not: neither hoped they for the wages of righteousness, nor discerned a reward for blameless souls.

The unrighteous do not know the mysteries of the Elohim. Even if they researched, studied, and read every Bible study they could, the Holy Spirit would not dwell in them, and without the Spirit of Wisdom, they would have no understanding of the knowledge of the Elohim.

AI has no understanding of the Elohim even if the HAL-9000 has scraped every biblical writing available. The Holy Spirit does not indwell the HAL-9000, or any other machine. The best AI can hope for is for an operator/programmer that is saved and Holy Spirit filled, considering there will be a millennial kingdom and a new heaven and a new earth, we will not be living in the stone age. If AI is operated by a Spirit filled human, that AI is better off than AI operated by humans who worship Satanas. At the end of the age all AI that is harmful to humans will be disassembled. AI is no match for the Creator Yahweh Jesus Messiah.

The Holy Spirit does not inhabit a Jesus Christ rejecter. This is why the understanding of the ministry of the Holy Spirit is so important to us today. The ministry of the Holy Spirit on the earth is not for anything or anyone other than the believer in Yahweh Christ Jesus.

Wis 2:23  For God created man to be immortal, and made him to be an image of his own eternity.

The Elohim created man, manfaced, to be immortal. Man is made to be an image of his own eternity. Humans are made in the image and likeness of the Elohim, and we are made eternal beings. Where we spend eternity is the ultimate question. Will we spend eternity in the heavenly kingdom or in hades? The righteous are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise and have the earnest of the Spirit in our heart, destined for heaven

Wis 2:24  Nevertheless through envy of the devil came death into the world: and they that do hold of his side do find it.

The resentment of Drakōn brought death into the world. Drakōn enticed Satanas and other sons of God to rebel against Yahweh Elohim. This is the purpose of Drakōn. But Drakōn is a one of a kind being, there is no other in his class. Satanas is not a one of a kind being. There are other incorporeal beings. Through Drakōn, envy and death came into the world, and the way to paradise had to be blocked so that the adam would not live eternally in a fallen state. Jesus made a way for everyone to live eternally. Yet there are people who intentionally take hold of the devil’s side, and those people will find death.

We can see how people who are unrighteous feel like they have nothing to lose, because they made a friend with death, and they are following Drakōn and Satanas. Yet as they correctly point out, the righteous know that the unrighteous are wrong and that they are foolish. The Holy Spirit also knows who the righteous and unrighteous are. It is our mission to do exactly what they do not want, which is to point out those who are unrighteous and their unrighteous ways. No one has to make a covenant with death they simply think it is a good idea. Yet they cannot make a balanced decision if they only have the knowledge of evil and no knowledge of good. We are the ones who are to bring the knowledge of good to the world. This is the good news, the gospel message many disciples died for. Then we can contrast the good versus the evil to the unbelievers so that everyone we know has a choice in eternal life or eternal death. Even though the adam thought that he was going to know good and evil, he ended up only knowing evil. Our eyes should be opened to teach righteousness to the world. The Creator jealously waits for our hearts to come to know Him.
