God Points Out Constellations To Us, What Do They Mean?

When God commanded the stars to give their light, he wanted them to communicate a story.  There are a couple of constellations that God specifically mentions to us.  All of the constellations tell us about Jesus and our story.  There are some interesting insights we can gain from looking at what God says about the stars and constellations.  Something we should consider is that the Magi had a working knowledge of the stars which they learned from Daniel.  The Eastern Magi held true to the knowledge they learned but the Western Magi distorted the knowledge of the stars into fortunetelling.  If we remember when Jesus was born, the Eastern Magi and their huge entourage came to see the King who was born, but by that time the Western Magi lost their knowledge of God’s Word written in the stars.  What we have to remember is that distortion and fortunetelling started before the birth of Jesus.  The world does not have the knowledge of God’s Word written in the stars, they have fortunetelling that, as we have seen, has some major flaws.  But God Specifically declares three constellations to us from His word, what is He trying to tell us. 

The stars are to do service unto man; that is interesting.  The stars have an order, man may have dis-ordered them but they still have an order to them, and their service was ordained of them before Adam was made. 

2 Esd 6:45-46 Upon the fourth day thou commandedst that the sun should shine, and the moon give her light, and the stars should be in order: 46 And gavest them a charge to do service unto man, that was to be made.KJV

The morning stars and the sons of God were at the beginning of the ordering of the foundations of the earth. 

Job 38:4-7 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? Ps 147:4-5 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.KJV

It is amazing that God knows how many stars there are and He knows their names!  He points out to us Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, as well as the chambers in the south.

**Keep in mind time when it comes to any reference to the Vulgate, which was written in 382 AD.  Later translations such as the Latin Vulgate were a mixing of modern knowledge and not always ancient knowledge**

Bootes is a Decan of Virgo, and its brightest star is Arcturus, located in the left thigh of Bootes. It may have been known by Arcturus, rather than Bootes as the Bible points out specifically Arcturus, which means He Cometh.  At some point in history the constellation Ursa Major became confused with Arcturus, hence all our Bible descriptions and definitions are incorrect.  It is clear from astronomy that Arcturus is in the constellation of Bootes.   In the Hebrew Arcturus is known as the Coming One, a Shepherd of two sheepfolds, one large, one small, implying Ursa Major and Ursa Minor.  It would seem as we saw previously with Ursa Minor, that the idea of a bear may have come from Native Americans rather than the Hebrew, yet bears do not have tails.  Some Native American legends claim Ursa Major as three bears.   Shown as a shepherd, Arcturus holds a shepherds crook in his right hand and a sickle in his left hand.  If Arcturus is the Shepherd of the greater sheepfold and the lesser sheepfold then we can easily identify him as Jesus.

The star (in the spear-head) is named Al Katurops, which means the branch, treading under foot.

The star (just below the waist on his right side) is called Mirac, or Mizar, of Izar.  Mirac means the coming forth as an arrow; Mizar, or Izar, means the preserver, guarding.

Shepherds protect their sheep, separate sheep from the goats and shoot arrows at the wolves.  They gather their sheep in folds, to keep them safe at night.  What a wonderful picture Arcturus is to us.

ORION  Heb. Kesil; i.e., "the fool", the name of a constellation (Job 9:9; 38:31; Amos 5:8) consisting of about eighty stars. The Vulgate renders thus, but the LXX. renders by Hesperus, i.e., "the evening-star," Venus. The Orientals "appear to have conceived of this constellation under the figure of an impious giant bound upon the sky." ORION [oh RYE un] (the strong one) - the name of a constellation, consisting of thousands of stars which is mentioned in the Old Testament (Job 9:9; 38:31; Amos 5:8). The constellation is near Gemini and Taurus, and contains the giant red star Betelgeuse and Rigel, a blue-white star of first magnitude. Orion is a Decan of Taurus and means coming forth as light.  He is known as a strong and mighty one, with a club in his right hand and a lion in his left hand.  We can see why Nimrod wanted to be known as Orion.  Likewise this constellation has many myths associated with it as every culture wanted to associate with the great light of heaven, (Ur-ana in Akkadian) Orion is one of the most well known constellations in our modern times, and can be seen easily because of the brightness of his belt. 

Orion is the most brilliant of all the constellations, and when he comes to the meridian he is accompanied by several adjacent constellations of great splendor.  There is then above the horizon the most glorious view of the celestial bodies that the starry firmament affords; and this magnificent view is visible to all the habitable world, because the equinoctial line (or solstitial colure) passes nearly through the middle of Orion.

The brightest star (in the right shoulder) is named Betelgeuz, which means the coming (Mal iii 2) of the branch.

The next star (in the left foot), is named Rigel, or Rigol, which means the foot that crusheth.  The foot is lifted up, and placed immediately over the head of the enemy, as though in the very act of crushing it.

Just like Arcturus Orion has reference to a branch.   Jer 23:5 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.KJV  Also the foot that crushes and coming quickly or swiftly destroying.  He is coming forth as light.

PLEIADES [PLEE uh deez] — a brilliant cluster of stars seen in the shoulder of Taurus (the Bull). The name Pleiades comes from the seven daughters of Atlas and Pleione in Greek mythology. This constellation consists of several hundred stars, although the naked eye can usually see only six or seven. PLEIADES The Hebrew word (cimah) so rendered occurs in Job 9:9; 38:31; Amos 6:8. In the last passage our Authorized Version has "the seven stars," although the Geneva version translates the word "Pleiades" as in the other cases. The Pleiades are a group of stars situated on the shoulder of the constellation Taurus. The rendering "sweet influences" of the Authorized Version, Job 38:31, is a relic of the lingering belief in the power which the stars exerted over human destiny. In the constellation of Taurus, in the right shoulder of the bull, we have a group of stars known as the Pleiades.  The constellation of Taurus represents the coming Judge of the earth, or coming and ruling.  The Pleiades has about six or seven visible stars which some have suggested could represent the churches of Asia, seven churches but one was in danger of losing its star.  The Pleiades is also known to have been believed to be the center of the universe.  This cluster of stars is very beautiful in its colors.

Then there is the cluster of stars known as the Pleiades.  This word, which means the congregation of the judge or ruler, comes to us through the Greek Septuagint as the translation of the Hebrew kimah, which means the heap or accumulation and occurs in Job ix 9; xxxviii 31,32, and Amos v 8. 

It consists of a number of stars (in the neck of Taurus) which appear to be near together.  The brightest of them, marked in all the maps, has come down to us with an Arabic name – Al Cyone, which means the centre, and has given the idea to some astronomers that it is the center of the whole universe.  The Syriac name for the Pleiades is Succoth, which means booths. The Pleiades is bound together in the universe by electromagnetism, so when God asks in His word who can bind the Pleiades or loose the cord or band of Orion, he is pointing out that our ability is limited in the binding and loosing of the star clusters. We can’t change them, only He can.

There may be a very interesting story connected to these three constellations that we have overlooked.  God is pointing these out for a reason therefore we should inquire.  If you do your secular research on these you will find some incredibly interesting ideas, the key is to compare our understanding to scripture to see what it says. 

We have known for some time that many pyramid structures around the world were created in the image of the constellation of Orion, specifically Orion’s belt.  What we hadn’t looked at until more recently was that the old earth structures also included Taurus and the Pleiades.  With satellite images we can overlay the constellation patterns over the top of a geographical map of these structures and find something very surprising, they match.  Remember the heavens were of old, they were not destroyed when the earth became formless and void, and these ancient structures that predate Adam were pointing to the Pleiades.  We have thought that ancient people worshipped the sun, as in the closest star that warms our planet, but it is quite possible that the ancients were not interested in that sun, but in the stars of the Pleiades.  If the belief was that the Pleiades was the center of the universe (whether it is or not in actuality today is not the point, but from earth and the point of view of the individuals that lived here it was understood as the center of the universe) it was the star like “sun’s” they were focused on.  This may have been misunderstood in modern times, thinking rather that ancient peoples worshipped the thing that gave them warmth, instead they worshipped what they believed to be the center of the universe.  The Pleiades means the congregation of the judge or ruler, isn’t this what we saw in the very basic definitions of what Lucifer wanted to do, to raise his throne as a judge on the mountains of the congregations in the sides of the hidden place. 

Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: KJV

Lucifer said to himself ‘I will actively mount above where the celestial bodies revolve, and above the stars of God. I will raise my throne and sit down as a judge on the mountains at the regularly scheduled assembly in the side of the hidden place.’ **See the “Throne of God”, blog post for further detail**

If Lucifer was interplanetary, and he convinced the individuals on earth to follow him, and he told them he would ascend above the throne of God and this area is the place he would be, in the Pleiades, it is understandable as to why the ancient, pre-Adamic races focused so heavily on the stars.  I don’t think they were worshipping the stars as much as they were looking for God, where the son’s of God assemble at regularly scheduled times, as in Job. And maybe with Lucifer’s economy, his merchandise, he corrupted certain ones to worship him in this area.  That is what we see today with many different secret societies, there seems to be a connection to the Pleiades’/Orion stars, and an overwhelming effort to hide information from the masses and an over-lording on their parts over the masses.  Therefore there may be occult ties regarding Pleiades. Yet again someone has distorted God’s word.  I’ve often wondered what Lucifer’s merchandise was like, and I don’t think it is very different from what we see today.  If we compare our economic structure to what God tells us (for example in 2Corithians) God’s plan is almost completely opposite.  Those who sow much are to give to those who those who can’t.  God’s economy is not to trample others on our way to the top, which is Lucifer’s plan.

There are few other points to consider here about the Pleiades.  It is by definition a congregation of the ruler in the center.  The center of what we don’t know.  But there are two rpeople groups who believe this is where the throne of God is, the Sethites and the Jehovah’s Witnesses. These are two very different groups of people.  This could explain why people may have eventually worshipped the Pleiades; this is an easy distortion to have fallen into.  At first the descendants of Seth may have had the knowledge of God’s throne being in the Pleiades but then as time goes on the distortion of occultism or the practice of worshipping the star cluster could have entered in, without the true knowledge of God. Yet God told us not to worship the sun, moon, or stars. Is God’s throne in the Pleiades?  I don’t know, I’ve never been there.  Another thought is that this is where Paul went when he saw the third heaven.  If that is accurate then we can make the case that this must be a place where Enoch also went.  But we have to ask ourselves where exactly did Enoch and Elijah go when they were taken up? They went up but up where? 

Now we have to wonder why God points out these particular constellations.  Arcturus is the guardian or watcher over the greater and lesser sheepfold, the greater sheepfold being possibly the church, the lesser being the messianic church.  Arcturus is also known as the keeper of heaven in Arabic, which tells us that God is saying to those believers in Him we are not alone, we have a shepherd.  The shepherd is looking at his two sheepfolds while a crown (corona) constellation is at his right arm.  One day the shepherd will be crowned King, with glory and honor. 

God points out Orion the hunter, with his left foot he crushes the enemy, yet he is the light, the one who triumphs, the light of heaven. Orion is probably the most distorted and mythologized constellation, which would be because satan does not want you to know the truth. God wants you to focus your understanding on this constellation in relation to Taurus and Pleiades.  Taurus being judgment, but truly to the unsaved as the church will be with him at the time of true judgment, and the assembly of the judge as we see with Pleiades. God is coming to rule. Remember we saw last week that the place of God’s Sanctuary among the stones of fire was a place entered by permission, but that the gathering of the congregation in the mountains of the north seemed to be for all the sons of God even satan.  The congregation may be a place for the righteous. This was where Lucifer wanted to be seated, maybe to be a judge over others.  God is directing our attention here, maybe to understand judgment.  The church is judged in rewards, the sinner however in punishment. Also remember in the Syriac Pleiades means booths or Succoth.  In God’s judgment the children of Israel wandered for almost 40 years before entering the promised land.  We should take this judgment into consideration in light of the seven stars of Pleiades as the church.

Rev 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.KJV

Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.KJV

Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. KJV

Pleiades can represent the seven churches, but really all churches as there are hundreds of stars in Pleiades, while Taurus represents judgment.  Here we see the Church can lose its candlestick, which we have to ask were they truly saved. Many may think they are saved but they are not. There are many different words for judgment in the Bible.  David tells us that there is a place of judgment, in the congregation of the righteous, that sinners do not stand and attend.  Sinners have a different judgment than the righteous.

Ps 1:5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.KJV

Amos 5:8 Seek him that maketh the seven stars  (Pleiades) and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The Lord is his name: KJV

Seek God. 

Isa 13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof (Orion) shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.KJV

Here we see that there will be a time when we will not see the stars of Orion, could this be a time after Jesus has gathered his church, as it is ironic that the one coming forth as light or light breaking forth in the redeemer would not be seen, unless maybe he has already redeemed his followers.  The sun and the moon will be dark also.

Job 38:31-32 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? KJV

Can someone guide Arcturus and his sheepfold?  Who can tell the shepherd how to shepherd his sheep? And again who can bind or loose the groups of stars? And is there anyone who can move the sun into the constellations at an appointed time?

The Chambers of the South

The chambers or houses of the south may be speaking of the southern hemisphere constellations and the stars such as Alpha Centauri.  It is very hard to go back to original meanings on these constellations as God was giving Adam, Seth, Noah, Shem, and Abraham, understanding from their point of view.  However the houses or chambers of the south are interesting in their stories, we just cannot track multiple ancient language descriptions of the stars. 

What we see God explaining to us is that there are many ways that he has told us of our redemption, he gave us the written word, he wrote it in the stars, he told us in the names of his people in Genesis, he encoded it with equal distance lettering in the Torah, and he gave us feasts with symbolism.  He has given us messengers and prophets, and teachers as well as His Son.  At some point one just hast to be convinced that God is telling us of His plan for our redemption.  It is always up to us to accept it; we make the decision where we will spend our eternal life.  The constellations tell us over and over of His plan, we will look at the constellations again and we will also explore one very interesting constellation that the devil distorted for his glory.  

The Throne of God, The Firmament, What Was Lucifer’s Plan

God tells us he has a throne and it is in the sides of the North and it is in an area where there are mountains or hills for the congregation.  We are probably familiar with the idea that the Earth is Gods foot stool but where exactly is this big chair he sits on? We have some interesting descriptions in the Bible that will give us further understanding of the heavens above.  Another question we have to ask is where was Lucifer trying to exalt himself to? 

First we have to understand the firmament.  Some people believe this was an arch of water that protected the earth in our upper atmosphere from the sun.  In other words some believe we lived within a bubble of air surrounded by water until the time of the flood of Noah when the windows of heaven were broken open.  But I think there is a better, more up to date, scientific understanding of our universe.  We have discussed subtle energy, plasma and our electromagnetic universe in previous blogs.  We will take a quick look at this idea again. The firmament seems to indicate the atmosphere between earth and the moon.  It could also indicate the place where there are clouds, the arch of our sky. The waters could be a figurative usage of something that looked or acted like water but was not understood until now.

Chuck Missler had a very interesting supposition for this passage, rather than waters, which might have been the only word that could be communicated at that time, maybe it is better understood as plasmas.  Gen 1:6-7 And God said, Let there be an expanse in the midst of the plasmas, and let it divide the plasmas from the plasmas.7 And God made the expanse, and divided the plasmas which were under the expanse from the plasmas which were above the expanse: and it was so.KJV 

This is a more up to date view of understanding our plasma universe.  I’ve discussed our electromagnetic universe previously and as we see from our knowledge today of plasma physics, plasma is charged ionized particles that have a distinct state of matter that does not behave like a solid, liquid, or gas.  http://www.4physics.com/phy_demo/plasma1.htm  However they move almost in waves as water would move.  Think of the Northern Lights. Combine this understanding along with lay lines and subtle energy, we now can understand what Tesla was saying.  Our universe is electrical, yet someone does not want us to find a way to harness this electromagnetic energy.  Rather some might go to great lengths to keep us on combustion type energy.  We have seen that there were civilizations that understood subtle energy and built megalithic structures accordingly to harness this subtle energy.  Maybe this has something to do with the economy Lucifer was running.

Also the moon shines in the firmament of heaven. It is a sign of the feasts. What a great way to signal our attention to something.

God’s throne seems to be above the firmament and he also seems to hide it with clouds.  It seems to be an eternal throne that has existed before time.  Along with the Lord’s throne, there is a Holy Temple

Just as with a solar flare that causes electronics to become damaged, if God did not compass or encircle us or our planet until the time that the day and night are come to an end, we could not live here.  He spreads a cloud upon his throne. Remember Peter tells us of the elements and the earth melting with fervent heat? 2 Peter 3:10 & 12, it will all dissolve.  What has the capability to do that? Here is something else, whatever the type of physical make up of the sons of God and the angels, they are not bothered by the intense energy that abounds in the universe. Next we come to this, Lucifer aspiring to ascend above God’s throne with his throne above the stars.  Lucifer decides that he will sit enthroned on the mountain of the congregation.  Considering that Lucifer had some big ideas about himself and seemed to be quite proud and confident to be able to accomplish this we should look at this in detail.

Lucifer said to himself ‘I will actively mount above where the celestial bodies revolve, and above the stars of God. I will raise my throne and sit down as a judge on the mountains at the regularly scheduled assembly in the side of the hidden place.’ We have a clue to observe, as in Job we find the sons of God presenting themselves to Yahweh/Jehovah.  Wherever this takes place, on the mountains where the regularly scheduled assembly or gathering of the sons of God come to report to Yahweh/Jehovah, that is where satan wanted to exalt his judgment seat.

Of interesting note, satan is forced to submit to Yahweh/Jehovah at this appointed assembly.  He is forced to answer questions and allowed by permission to act upon the earth against God’s elect.  He also is allowed to negotiate harm towards the people of earth. We have to keep our time in perspective here as we may immediately think of Revelation 12.  Satan defected from God’s natural order and took some of the sons of God or stars with him but he has not been cast out of heaven yet. 

Rev 12:3-4 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.KJV

Here satan is ready to devour the child, but he could not.  Now there is a period of time, before the next events of satan and the war in heaven.  How do I know that?  Because satan is still accusing the brethren before God, day and night.  He had access to the assembly of heaven, when the sons of God were presenting themselves and he still does.  What has changed, where is it written in the bible that the devil only has access to Earth since the time of Job?  It doesn’t; satan still has access to the throne of God and accuses us there. There would have to have been a great change in the way our world is functioning in order for satan to have already been cast down, just because life seems hard does not mean satan has been cast down to earth.  Therefore there would have to have been a time when cosmic events took place to cast satan down to earth between the time of Job and now, however there is no scriptural evidence of that.  At the time of Daniel, satan’s angels still had access to heaven as we see when Daniel had fasted twenty one days. I would imagine that when satan and his angels are cast down to earth everyone will know it.

Rev 12:7-10 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.KJV

When satan is cast down, those who are in heaven, the heavenly host, will rejoice, but the earth will freak out. Has there been a time recorded in the bible that the heavenly host rejoiced because satan was cast out?  Once he is cast out of the heavens he will know the time before he is bound for one thousand years is very close, then there will be great wrath.

Here is what we know: Lucifer was a being that was expanded or spread out and like a screen or fence or hedge.  He was ascribed or appointed to the mountain range along the middle of the flaming built stones. He was on the mountain of God moving about among the stones of fire.  What are the stones of fire?  Some speculate that these are planets but we cannot deduce that from the definitions or the context, because the stones are on the mountains of the sanctuary of God.  Therefore the stones which seem to be like gems could be part of God’s sanctuary. And wherever the sanctuary is, it is on God’s mountains. This is a holy place, which is reserved for beings by permission. This is not the place where the sons of God come to present themselves, while the place where the sons of God come to assemble seems to be open to all, not by permission, and not necessarily a holy mountain. Lucifer wanted to set himself up in God’s habitation, before God’s sons and in God’s sanctuary.  Is it possible for a created being to usurp his creator?

One day Lucifer will be bound to earth only, he will not have access to God and the host of heaven will all rejoice.  The people on earth will all know when this happens as the devil’s wrath will lead the way.  Our universe is full of mysteries we are still discovering.  God specifically spoke of some constellations and we will have to look at that because we know if God points something out in His word it is because he wants us to know something.

Lucifer’s Story is Ending, The Meaning of the Constellations in the Circle of Heaven

There is a story written in plain sight of every human that tells us of Jesus who is the Christ the savior of mankind.  It is not in a book, on paper between two leather covers.  It is not on a t-shirt.  It is not on billboards or church signs.  It is not in church buildings.  It is not taught in churches, or in bars, or on college campuses.  The story hidden in plain sight has been all but lost to this generation.  There has been great effort made to keep you from seeing, learning, and teaching others about it.  It has been clouded with false ideas and distorted so that Christians would shy away from it.  The story written in plain sight tells us of a time when there was a revolt against our Heavenly Father, and the plan to make all things right.  It tells of a coming Messiah who would be born of a Virgin and be from the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.  He would overcome enemies and redeem a group of humans and then he would destroy the evil one.  The story goes on to tell that our Messiah would not go unscathed as he would suffer a bruised heel, in comparison to the wounded head of this evil enemy.  The story also tells of the people who invite Him to be their savior that they were not left powerless, but that they have power, and tools to subdue this enemy until all is finished.  It has been written since before the time of Adam, and it is time for us to read what was written.

Jesus said: Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.KJV

Ps 19:1-9 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.KJV

Ps 8:3-4 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; 4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? KJV

The story has been written and declared above our heads.  Everything we need to know, God’s laws, statute, the past, the future, the present, it is all written where it cannot be erased.   I once heard a post modernist declare that the Bible is just a bunch of stories and poems and not to be taken literally.  I wonder if he would not take literally a right hook to the face.  Being a spokesperson for satan he is probably used to that kind of non literal communication. You can throw out the pages in your Bible, but you cannot erase the heavens.  You can lie about what the Bible says, but you cannot lie about what the heavens say.   You can’t rearrange the words of the stars, their names, or the constellations that they make up.  This is one historical constant; every ancient culture has in common, the star names and meanings.  It is protected from tampering as we can’t rearrange the stars.  So if one denies the bible, one then has to deny the stellar voice as well.  Yet how many people have looked at what the heavens are declaring?  None of the “scholars” of post modernism have.  Many Christian scholars over 100 years ago wrote about the heavens.  But in the last 100 years we have gone into the dark ages regarding the heavens.  The heavens tell us that Lucifer’s’ time is very short.  This will take a while to go into but the time we spend here will establish truths that cannot be denied by anyone. The Bible is established by the witness of the Heavens and the Heavens are established by the witness of the Bible.

The heavens tell us about Jesus the Christ, our Messiah and coming King.  That alone is enough to cause the devil to sweat when you learn about just that one message.   The heavens do not tell us about Buddha, Mohamed, Thor, Osiris, and Hitler, Obama, the Pope, or anyone else.  It is an exclusive story of one, Jesus.  The heavens do not tell about you coming into money, a great day for love, or a change in your luck. As I’ve e pointed out in prior blogs, astrologers are off by 2300 years.  Your birth date may not align with the star sign that your local news paper says it does, astrologers made a mistake in their calculations, ooops.  The heavens do not tell us a good time to invest in the stock market, or who you should ask to marry you, or even who you are most compatible with.  The heavens do not tell you about anyone or anything except about Jesus and the story of the devil’s demise.  The heavens do tell us what Jesus has done.  The heavens tell us what Jesus will do.  The heavens tell us what our part is in this cosmic battle.  The heavens do tell us how we are to overcome this enemy.  The heavens do tell us about when the end of the devil’s rule on earth will take place.  The heavens do tell us our mission as believers to the world. 

With all that being said, we will start small and pick up where we left off with the circle in the heavens.  The precessional equinox as we discussed last week is a backward rotation that takes a little less than 26,000 years to complete one full rotation.  The circle that the axis of the earth creates tags some constellations and directs our attention to that portion of the stars.  The constellations are a combination of stars, which all have names.  The constellation tells us a story and the stars add the details of the story.  The circuit or the circle in the heavens is like a big timer, counting down the story and showing the time of the story we are in, like a sundial.  God told the whole story, and then set a dial to tell us where in time we are, so that we could see beginning to end of the entire story, there is no hiding it.  This is where we will start.  If you have an astronomy program you can see this visually if not here is a free one that works well.    http://www.stellarium.org/    You do not need this tool but may find it helpful to your own personal study. We are told we are at the end of this precessional cycle, meaning that the year 2012 is the end and the beginning of the next precessional cycle.  Most ancient cultures believe that the first 13,000 years are an upswing in knowledge and living well.  We have been on the downswing of this cycle, therefore looking at the precessional cycle from that point of view, we start looking at the circle from Cephus, the King.

Cephus is the King, the one coming to rule. He is the glorious, crowned King, enthroned in the heavens.  There are 35 stars in this constellation the brightest, Al Deranin means coming quickly. 

“In the girdle shines another, equally conspicuous, whose name, Al Phirk, means the Redeemer. In the left knee is still another, whose name means the Shepherd.  The Egyptians called this royal figure Peku-hor, the Ruler that cometh.  His more common designation is Cepheus, which means the royal Branch, the King. Everything thus combines to identify this figure as intended to represent our Saviour as now enthroned in glory, even the Seed of the woman, clothed with celestial royalty and dominion.” (Joseph Seiss, the Gospel in the Stars, Copyright 2009 by General Books, p 83)

Cygnus is known as the swan, or the Northern Cross, with 81 stars in it’s make up.  61 Cygni consists of two stars that revolve around each other.  This Bird flies in the heavens and over the earth. 

“Its brightest star, (between the body and the tail) is called Deneb and means the judge. It is also called Adige, flying swiftly, and thus at once it is connected with Him who cometh to judge the earth in righteousness. The star (in the beak) is named Al Bireo (Arabic) flying quickly.  The star (in the body) is called Sadr (Hebrew), who returns as in a circle. The two stars in the tail are named Azel, who goes and returns quickly, and Fafage, gloriously shining forth.” ( E.W. There is another aspect to this large bird which is characteristic of the Holy Spirit, who brooded over the face of the waters in the beginning.  The Holy Spirit, also known as the Spirit of Wisdom, was in the beginning.

Prov 8:22-27 The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: KJV

The Holy Spirit was there when he the great architect set a compass upon the face of the deep. Solomon asks for her, wisdom, to be sent from the holy heavens and from the throne of glory to help him.

Wisdom 9:9-10 And wisdom was with thee: which knoweth thy works, and was present when thou madest the world, and knew what was acceptable in thy sight, and right in thy commandments.10 O send her out of thy holy heavens, and from the throne of thy glory, that being present she may labour with me, that I may know what is pleasing unto thee.KJV

Ecclus 24:1-9 Wisdom shall praise herself, and shall glory in the midst of her people.2 In the congregation of the most High shall she open her mouth, and triumph before his power.3 I came out of the mouth of the most High, and covered the earth as a cloud.4 I dwelt in high places, and my throne is in a cloudy pillar.5 I alone compassed the circuit of heaven, and walked in the bottom of the deep.6 In the waves of the sea and in all the earth, and in every people and nation, I got a possession.7 With all these I sought rest: and in whose inheritance shall I abide?8 So the Creator of all things gave me a commandment, and he that made me caused my tabernacle to rest, and said, Let thy dwelling be in Jacob, and thine inheritance in Israel.9 He created me from the beginning before the world, and I shall never fail.KJV

Wisdom dwelt in the high places and her throne is in the cloudy pillar.  She alone compassed the circuit or circle of the heavens.

John 16:7-11 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.KJV

Cygnus judges the world in righteousness and can symbolize the coming of the Holy Spirit to the earth. If we look at the circle, we see the prominent position of the Holy Spirit in Cygnus. First the King then the Holy Spirit, both having thrones in the circle of the heavens.

“As the white dove is the emblem of the Holy  Ghost, so the elegant, pure and graceful swan is a fitting emblem of Him  who, dying,, sends for the glad river of living waters, and presided in His majesty over the administration of them to the thirsty children of men. And this is here the underlying idea.” (Joseph Seiss, the Gospel in the Stars, Copyright 2009 by General Books, p 76)

Lyra is the Harp. The brightest star in the constellation of Lyra is Vega, which means He shall be exalted. The praise of the entire host of heaven, as well as the praises of men attests to His exaltation. 

“Its other stars are also conspicuous stars of the 2^nd and 4^th magnitude. [One] is called Shelyuk, which means an eagle (as does the Arabid, Al Nesr); [and the other] is called Sulaphat, springing up, or ascending, as praise.” ( E.W. Hercules is the Mighty Man or the Mighty Vanquisher.  Hercules is on his right bended knee with his left foot on the head of the dragon; his right foot is elevated as if it is wounded.  He is crushing the serpents head.   Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. KJV  Hercules is the God/Man the warrior who subdues the serpent.

“In the head of this figure is a bright star, the brightest in this constellation, which bears the name of Ras al Gethi, which means the Head of him who bruises; whilst the name of the second star means the The Branch kneeling.  The Phoenicians worshipped this man five generations before the time of the Greeks, and honored him as representing a savior. Smyth and Sayce trace the legend of him in Chaldea four thousand years ago.  On the atlases he is called Hercules. So the Romans called him, but the Greeks called him Herakles, whom they worshipped and honored as the greatest of all their hero-gods, principally on the account of his twelve great labors.” (Joseph Seiss, the Gospel in the Stars, Copyright 2009 by General Books, p 47)

Interestingly we see that the Phoenicians worshipped this constellation, and the Chaldeans knew about this constellation as well.  We need to remember Abraham taught the Phoenicians when he lived in the area, as he taught the Egyptians.  Abraham, Shem and Noah probably had a hand in teaching the Chaldeans.  Keeping  time in mind, this constellation did not become a mythology god until later years of the Greeks and Romans, but prior, people were looking for this God/Man redeemer.

Ursa Minor is the Lesser Sheepfold, we also call this the little dipper, and Native Americans mistakenly called this constellation the little bear. This constellation had a rich foundation in its star names regarding herds or flocks of animals.  It is known as the gate for the animals to rest. At the very end of this constellation, at the very end of the “handle” is the Pole-Star. 

“Dubah…is a collection of domestic animals, a fold, as the Hebrew word Dober. It has seven principal stars, often called Septentriones the seven which turn.  The Arabs and the rabbins called them Ogilah, going round, as wheels; and hence also they are called Charles’s Wain, the King’s Wagon, or the thing which goes round.  These noted seven stars are in themselves sufficient to suggest some connection with “the seven churches” which John saw as “seven stars” in Christ’s right hand. The whole number of stars in this constellation is twenty-four, which suggests connection again between it and the “four and twenty elders” whom John beheld “round about the throne, clothed in white raiment, and having on their heads crowns of gold” (Rev 4) which denote the seniors of the elect Church in heaven. The ancient names in this constellation are Kochab, the star, allied  perhaps with the promise in Rev 2:28, otherwise rendered by Rolleston waiting the coming; Al Perkadain, the Calves, the Young, Hebraically, the Redeemed; Al Gedi, the Kid, the Chosen of the flock; and Al Kaid, the Assembled, the gathered together.  These are all applicable to the Church of the first-born, and particularly describe it as it finally comes to its inheritance. Draco.  These five constellations are encircled around one large constellation called Draco. This is also known as the dragon, or the serpent.  It is a long constellation that seems to snake around in a backward “S” shape. You could say that this is the center of the story as it appears in the middle of this circle of the heavens, and in a way it is.  It is the cause of all the death and destruction that our Messiah has to deliver us from.  Satan is called the devil and the serpent and the destroyer.  There are approximately 80 stars in this constellation.  About 4,000-6,000 years ago, Thuban the brightest star, was the pole star, signifying that satan was the god of this world. Thuban means the subtle. Al Waid is another name for this star, meaning who is to be destroyed.  Al Dib is also another name for this star which means the reptile.

“The second star in this constellation is Rasta-ban, head of the subtle; the third, Etanin, the long serpent, the Dragon; another, Grumian, the deceiver; Gianser, the punished enemy.” (Joseph Seiss, the Gospel in the Stars, Copyright 2009 by General Books, p 58)

Ps 74:12-14 For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.13 Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.14 Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.KJV

Ps 91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.KJV

It is interesting to see that the constellations in the circle or circuit of the heavens tell a story. As we saw the Pole Star was in Draco but it is now in Ursa Minor.  Joseph Seiss gives us some insight on this.

“The Pole-Star. It is part of the promise of the text that the seed of faith is to “possess the gate of his enemies” that is to take the house of possession of the foe and thence forward to hold what the enemy previously held. Now, at the time these constellations were formed, and for a long time afterward, the Pole-Star was the Dragon Star, Alpha Draconis. Thus this central gate, or hinge, or governing point of the earth’s motion, was then in the enemy’s possession. But that Dragon Star is now far away from the Pole, and cannot again get back to it for ages on ages, whilst the Lesser and Higher Sheepfold has come into its place; so that the main star of Areas is now the Pole-Star.  The seed of faith thus gets the enemy’s gate.  And understanding Ursa Minor of the Church of the first-born in heaven, instated in the government of the earth, we have in it a striking picture of the old prophecy fulfilled, when once Satan is cast down and the saints reign with their Lord in glory everlasting. .” (Joseph Seiss, the Gospel in the Stars, Copyright 2009 by General Books, p 122)

It is exciting to see our story written in the heavens.  We have to review this.  At some point there was a rebellion in the heavens where Lucifer tried to usurp the throne of God. Lucifer’s planet was destroyed, along with damage to other planets.  Everything became a mess. The Earth became formless and void and dark.  The Heavens were not destroyed; rearranged maybe, but the earth became formless void and dark. God started to put it all back together, he called for lights and the process started. 

Gen 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: KJV

The King, Cephus is the ruler and the redeemer in the heavens, he is the eternal King.  He is the royal branch.  Cygnus tells us he is coming to judge the earth in righteousness, gloriously, shining forth.  Lyra tells us he will be exalted, ascending in praises.  Hercules tells us he is the warrior, part God and part man, who crushes the head of the serpent. He is the bruiser of the devils head, the kneeling branch. Worshipped among the ancient peoples, they knew of his coming.  The Sheepfold is the last element, the place of rest for the church; this is the time of the bringing in of the saved into the fold, and the gathering of the fold when the gate is closed. When the Pole-Star moves into Cephus, we are in a new age, the age of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  This is what the devil doesn’t want you to know, that his time is almost up. 

At the time of the rebellion in the heavens, the Pole-Star was in Draco, the dragon, it may have been there a very long time,  signaling that the devil is the destroyer of this world after deceiving the old world. When satan stole Adam’s lease on the earth, he had the right to reign here, over mankind.  Jesus came to wound the head of the dragon, as the punished enemy. 

The constellations all tell the story of Jesus.  But there is something else to this story, let’s look at this a different way.  We see Jesus as King who comes to earth to redeem us, the King Cephus and Hercules are opposite of each other.   The Swan, or dove, comes down to earth to be with the sheepfold, or church.  Cygnus is directly opposite of Ursa Minor.  And then there is another way to see this.  While the King and the warrior stand on either side of the dragon, the church stands on one side with the Holy Spirit and Praise on the other side of the dragon.  The church overcomes the dragon by the Holy Spirit and praise.   And one more way to see this is that the King comes to earth and bruises the dragon, sends the Holy Spirit, the Comforter to earth to help gather the children of God.  Praise goes out throughout the Heavenly Host.

There are twelve constellations that our sun moves into.  These constellations all tell a story about Jesus. Each constellation has three minor constellations which also tell a story about Jesus.  The entire heavens repeatedly tell the story of our Messiah.  We may wonder why there seem to be warriors, and serpents, sea monsters, and animals.  All of these continually share aspects of our Lord, His first coming, His second coming, His subduing of evil and His redeeming of His church. There isn’t a day or night that goes by that the story is not told.  This is why we have been so distracted from looking up.  This is why astrologers have turned the night sky into fortunetelling.  But this distortion is not new.  Nimrod was the first to distort the message in the heavens, taking for himself the figure of Orion, declaring himself to be a mighty hunter.  These constellations do not speak of ordinary humans such as Nimrod.  These constellations speak of Jesus, not a king on earth or a great warrior on earth, or great spiritual leader. Therefore Nimrod was never spoken of as Orion, neither was Osiris spoken of in the heavens.  By the time we reach the Greeks and Romans, we have legends of demi-gods in the constellations.  This is why we have to look further back in history to the basic meaning of all the stars.  They tell the accurate story.  This is why the devil has worked so hard to try and hide this from us, distorting the truth until we have all but given up on trying to understand what exactly the heavens are saying. 

Paul Says:

Rom 1:18-24 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: KJV

Wrath is revealed from heaven, and God showed it to them.  And even though God showed them they changed the image of the uncorruptible God to images of corruption. They made idols of some of the constellations, they worshipped some of the constellations and they decided that some of the constellations were about them.  This is why they are without excuse, because they were shown and taught about the stars. What it lead to was serious distortions, which infiltrated their entire lives. 

The Circle that the precessional cycle makes in the heavens, which we looked at, is in the Northern Hemisphere.  There is a circle in the Southern Hemisphere as well but because Adam and his sons first lived in the Northern Hemisphere, we have the oldest stories of those constellations.  In the Southern Hemisphere, it is difficult to find the stories of the constellations in the precessional cycle; most are more recent to the times of the explorers.
